Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing the forms of expressive speech acts in the movie titled " Miracle In Cell no.7" by director Hanung Bramantyo to find out and understand what forms of expressive speech acts are spoken by the characters in the film. This research was conducted based on the researcher's interest in expressive speech acts within several scenes in the film. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data samples are collected with several techniques that consists of documentary studies & observation techniques. The data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that in the film Miracle In Cell No. 7 there are 5 forms of speech acts, including thanking, apologizing, congratulating, praising and criticizing. The speech act of thanking functions to express gratitude for a reciprocation, the speech act of apologizing functions to express regret for a mistake, the speech act of congratulations functions to appreciate someone's achievements, the speech act of praising functions as someone's admiration, and the speech act of criticizing serves to express disagreement. The research implementation plan is in the form of a teaching module on drama texts in Senior High School (SMA) class XI, even semester of the independent curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to find out objectively about the traditional word in the Dayak Kanayatn language. The problems of this research are the inventory of traditional penlight words in the Dayak Kanayatn language, the form and lexical meaning of the traditional penlight words in the Dayak Kanayatn language, and the implementation of learning the results of the traditional penlight word research into Indonesian language learning in schools. This research uses descriptive method in the form of qualitative. Data collection techniques, namely, observation techniques, interview techniques, and note-taking techniques. This research resulted in 52 data of traditional blocking words in the Pakumbang Village community, which were divided into five traditional blocking words which favored living plant objects, 23 traditional blocking words which favored solid inanimate objects, 10 traditional dissolving words to love liquid inanimate objects, 10 traditional blocking words using inanimate objects. Human external organs, and 4 traditional barrier words to love distance conditions. There were also 50 inventory words of traditional cursing words in the form of one morpheme (monomorphemic) and 2 traditional cursing words in the form of two or more morphemes (poly morphemic). The meaning contained in the inventory of traditional words in the Dayak Kanayatn language is based on lexical meaning. The form of the Indonesian language learning text contained in it using the word "traditional barrier" for the Kanayatn Dayak community is a procedural text.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the background of naming, the meaning of naming, and the cultural values contained in the names of natural and cultural attractions of Bengkayang Regency. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative form. The source of data in this study is the indigenous people of Bengkayang Regency who know the background of naming natural and cultural attractions. Data collection techniques in this study used direct techniques, namely observation of participation and periods to the field, interview, note taking, recording, and documentation. This research resulted in 70 names of natural and cultural attractions with details of 8 naming based on anomatic, 3 based on sound imitation, 2 based on parts, 13 based on distinctive properties, 12 based on inventors and makers, 9 based on place of origin, 14 based on materials, 6 based on similarity, and 3 based on new naming. The meanings of names found in this study are 8 meanings of futurative names, 43 meanings of situational names, and 19 meanings of memory names. The cultural values found in this study are 1 welfare value, 5 hard work values, 1 health value, 17 cultural preservation and creativity values, 30 environmental care values, 2 peace values, 2 harmony and conflict resolution values, 2 solidarity values, 1 commitment value, 6 positive thought values, and 3 gratitude values.

Abstract

Devi Rahmawati 2023. Research on "Language Ability of Children Aged 5-6 Years in Mekar Kindergarten, Sukamulya Village, Parindu District, Sanggau Regency Psycholinguistic Studies". This study uses qualitative methods in obtaining and analyzing data. The language skills of children aged 5-6 years basically begin with the acquisition of phonology and syntax. In this study, data analysis was based on phonology and syntax. The subjects of this study were children aged 5-6 years who were in Mekar Kindergarten in Sukamulya Village. This study observes the language skills of children aged 5-6 years who have language skills in pronouncing vowel phonemes, consonant phonemes, and sentence patterns. Research resulting from this study shows that children aged 5-6 years are able to speak the pronunciation of vowel phonemes, consonant phonemes, and sentence patterns. However, even though children are already capable of acquiring phonology there are children who experience changes in the sounds that are voiced. In the pronunciation of the word "first" to "daholo", the child (research subject) changed the vowel [u] to [o]. In consonant phonemes children (research subjects) are already able to pronounce consonant phonemes. However, there are children who do discharge in the pronunciation of consonants. In the pronunciation of the word "because" becomes "because" the child (research subject) releases the consonant phoneme [r]. In the acquisition of syntax, children (research subjects) are able to use sentences grammatically.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the style of comparative language; conflicting language style; and repetition style; which is in the lyrics of the Malay Pontianak song album Unto Mu Pontianak by Hazairin Achmad. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique uses listening, note taking, and content analysis techniques to interpret the meaning of the message in the song lyrics. Based on the research data analysis of the Malay Pontianak song lyrics of the album Unto Mu Pontianak by Hazairin Achmad it can be concluded: 1) Based on the results of a Comparative Language Style analysis on the Malay Pontianak Song Lyrics of Unto Mu Pontianak Album by Hazairin Achmad found 11 data on Personification style, 8 data on Metaphor style , 3 data on Allegorical language style, 5 data on Parable language style, 4 data on Anthesis style, 12 data on Pleonasm style, 3 data on Anticipation language style. 2) Based on the results of analysis of the Conflicting Language Style Analysis on Pontianak Malay Song Lyrics Unto Mu Pontianak Album by Hazairin Achmad found 3 Oksimoron style data, 4 Irony style data, 4 Hyperbole style data, 7 Sarcasm style data, 1 Language style data Sylepsis, 1 Liotes style data, 4 Cynicism style data, 4 Apofasis style data, 2 Apostrophe style data. 3) Based on the results of the analysis of Repetitive Language Style Analysis on Pontianak Malay Song Lyrics Unto Mu Pontianak Album by Hazairin Achmad found 2 Assonasi language style data, 6 tautotes language style data, 2 anaphora language style data, 2 alliteration languagestyle data, 1 language style data epistropha.; and (4) the implementation of learning Indonesian used in this study is in the form of learning media, namely E-Module definitions and types of figures of speech in poetry

Abstract

This research article aims to analyze illocutionary speech acts according to Searle's theory. The research method used is descriptive in qualitative form. The research data source is milk drink advertisements on the IKLANESIA HD YouTube channel. The collection technique is documentary, namely focusing attention through analyzing and interpreting written materials such as notes and texts expressed in videos, and writing tools. Data research tools are article researchers who act as compilers, data collectors and notification of research results. A tool in the form of a telephone grip is a tool used to watch milk drink advertisements on YouTube. Books and stationery are used to record words, sentences or advertising utterances watched on YouTube and then analyze the illocutionary speech acts. Data validity testing techniques include observation, triangulation and reference adequacy. The results of data analysis show that the types, utterances, and functions of illocutionary acts in milk drink advertisements on the IKLANESIA HD YouTube channel consist of 5 types of illocutionary speech acts according to Searle's theory, namely assertive illocutionary, directive illocutionary, commissive illocutionary, expressive illocutionary and declarative illocutionary.

Abstract

This study aims to find out objectively about the forms, categories, meanings, and functions of the word measure in Sambas Malay and how the form of the e-module about the word measure is for learning at school. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative form data collection techniques in this study are using observation techniques, interview techniques, recording techniques, and notetaking techniques. This research produced 41 data, 38 data classified into single form and 3 data classified into complex form. The 41 data based on the research were divided into 3 categories, namely the verb category with 2 data, the noun category with 37 data, and the numerals category with 2 data. The meaning contained in the word measure in agricultural activities using Sambas Malay is based on lexical meaning. The 41 data were analyzed for the function/usefulness of each of the interrogative words. The form of e-modules in the agricultural activities of the Sebawi village community can be used as teaching materials for Indonesian language learning teachers in the form of descriptive text.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the lexical metaphors contained in the novel Mariposa by Luluk HF using a descriptive method and qualitative form. The data source for this study is in the form of documents from the novel Mariposa by Luluk HF. The novel used is Mariposa novel by Luluk HF. The research technique employed is documentary study technique, with the tools used in the form of laptops and writing tools. The results indicate three types of lexical metaphors in the novel Mariposa by Luluk HF which is lexical metaphors in Mariposa novel by Luluk HF, namely lexical metaphors with the concept of noun - noun as many as one clause, lexical metaphors with the concept of noun - verb as many as 13 clauses, and lexical metaphors with the concept of noun - adjective as many as ten clauses. Abstract

Indonesia has various ethnic groups and languages, one of which is the Dayak language. The Dayak Seberuang oral tradition is a tradition whose stories develop towards the language, culture, and people of the Dayak Seberuang. This study aims to describe and analyze Engkana deixis in the Dayak Seberuang community in Nanga Pari Village, Sepauk District, Sintang Regency. The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative research form. Techniques in data collection are interview techniques, recording, and notes. Based on the results of data analysis, (1) there are 11 forms of site deixis consisting of 3 distal site deixis, 4 proximal site deixis, and 4 semi-proximal site deixis. (2) there are 16 forms of persona deixis consisting of the first persona deixis singular 2 data, the first persona plural 4 data, the second persona singular 6 data, the second persona plural 1 data, the third persona singular 1 data, the third persona plural 2 data. (3) there are 9 forms of time deixis consisting of 5 deixis of time of past events, 1 deixis of time of present events, and 3 deixis of time of future events. The meaning of deixis in the form of words was analyzed using the lexical meaning and the data in the form of phrases were analyzed using the grammatical meaning. The form of Indonesian language learning e-modules based on fable texts.

Abstract

Abstract The study of the Madurese Traditional Marriage Terminology in Mempawah in WajokHilir Village has three traditional processions that must be carried out by the bride and groom and their families. First, the pre-wedding procession which consists of five traditional processes that must be carried out, namely; (1) ngangane, (2) arabe fence, (3) nyabe' snack, (4) teketpetton, and (5) nyedektemo. After carrying out the pre-wedding rituals or traditional traditions, the second procession is followed by a wedding procession. In the wedding procession, there are four traditional processions that the bride and groom must undergo, namely; (1) arepbe, (2) bereskoneng, (3) contract, and (4) delivery of the weakest delivery. Then the third or final procession is the post-wedding procession. In the postwedding procession, the bride and groom are required to carry out the traditional cenglanceng ritual, the ritual is a closing ritual. In the cenglanceng ritual, the bride and groom carry out a slametan procession or salvation for the marriage that has been carried out and hope that the marriage can get safety and happiness in building a household.
