Abstract

Education is the most basic thing to build someone’s character because the aim of education is changing someone towards a better way. Education is a continuous and never-ending process so that it will produce sustainable quality, which the aimed is to build a person character in the future. Learning basketball is not only helpful to improve physical skills, such as; hand-eye coordination, physical endurance, and dexterity, but also teaching the important values, such as; cooperation, communication, and discipline. It can involve strategy, analysis, and mathematical understanding. As technology advances, the integration of technology and mathematics in learning process becomes really important. This research was conducted by applying technology and mathematic-based design to learn PJOK basketball materials at Elementary School number 81 Palembang. This research used an Equivalent Time Series Samples Design which is measured using skill tests and Formative Class Evaluation (FCE) questionnaires at the end of learning. The sample was 32 students at fifth graders at the Elementary School number 81 Palembang. The results obtained by the learning design show the poor category. The Formative Class Evaluation (FCE) questionnaire shows the result with a good component category, the willingness component is in the good category, the method component is in the medium category and the cooperation component is in the medium category.

Abstract

Education is a person's effort to develop their personality in accordance with the values of society and culture. In learning pencak silat, students will be taught basic movements, self-defense techniques, and the art of pencak silat. To help develop themselves better, students must keep up with the times so that they have more freedom to develop themselves. In the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) learning model with an educational approach that combines science, technology, engineering and mathematics in an integrated learning environment. STEM learning is very good if applied to PJOK learning, especially in pencak silat material. This research was conducted to apply teaching materials designed on a STEM basis in PJOK subjects with pencak silat material at SMP Negeri 19 Palembang. This research is an experimental study of The Equivalent Time Series Sample during 4 weeks of meetings which was measured using LKPD (Learner Worksheets) and FCE (Formative Class Evaluation) questionnaires. The samples used were students in class 7.11 at SMP Negeri 19 Palembang, totaling 30 students. The results of the research carried out were: 1) LKPD showed results in the poor category. 2) The FCE questionnaire shows results in the medium category. So it can be concluded that there is a difference between learning pencak silat using STEM and not using STEM.

Abstract

Salah satu perubahan besar dalam bidang pendidikan yang dibawa oleh Covid-19 adalah lingkungan pembelajaran di mana peserta didik menerima pembelajaran mereka. Peserta didik lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu di rumah karena sekolah ditutup, pemerintah menganjurkan untuk tetap di rumah, dan melakukan karantina wilayah. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membatu guru pendidikan jasmani dalam mentransformasi proses pembelajaran selama pandemic Covid-19, dimana pembelajaran tatap muka untuk sementara ditiadakan dan diganti dengan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Teknologi informasi yang digunakan berupa sistem pebelajaran jarak jauh (PPJ). PPJ memungkinkan untuk melakukan pebelajaran secara jarak jauh tanpa terikat jarak, dimanapun dan kapanpun dapat mengakses pebelajaran tersebut. Pelatihan dan pendampingan pengenalan platform pembelajaran seperti Zoom, Google Meet, Google Classroom, Schoology, dan Edmodo selama tiga hari yang dilakukan secara virtual dengan peserta 50 guru pendidikan jasmani telah memberi dampak positif terkait pemahaman guru pendidikan jasmani terkait dengan media yang dapat digunakan dalam PJJ mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani.

Abstract

Pada masa pandemi dibutuhkan media pebelajaran yang dapat membatu guru PJOK dalam menyampaikan materi khusunya pada pembelajaran permainan bolavoli. Sosialisasi dan pendampingan ini memiliki tujuan untuk membantu pendidik dan peserta didik khususnya pada materi permainan bolavoli dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran selama pandemi Covid-19. Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam melakukan pembelajaran perlu diterapkan, salah satunya adalah penggunaan D’Volleyball Learning Application sebagai media dalam memberikan materi pembelajaran, terutama materi bolavoli. Pengabdian dilaksanakan secara daring menggunakan metode ceramah dan demontrasi. Mitra kegiatan ini yaitu kelompok Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) PJOK Kota Palembang, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 60 guru. Hasil kegiatan ini sebesar 94,6% guru-guru dapat memahami tentang penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran bolavoli. Sosialisasi dan pendampingan penggunaan D’Volleyball Learning Application dilakukan selama tiga hari memberi dampak positif terhadap pengetahuan baru terhadap aplikasi pembelajaran bolavoli, yang dapat digunakan sebagai tambahan variasi dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran.

Abstract

Tes kebugaran jasmani sangat penting untuk dilakukan oleh guru terhadap persta didik, hal ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kebugaran Jasmani masing-masing peserta didik. Tingkat kebugaran jasmani merupakan indikator awal untuk menyatakan bahwa seseorang dapat disebut sehat secara jasmani. Namun, saat ini tes keburagan jasmani hanya dilakukan oleh guru Pendidikan Jasmani apabila ada kegiatan yang menyertainya. Pendampingan kepada guru Pendidikan Jasmani untuk dapat melakukan tes kebugaran jasmani yang baik dan benar sangat diperlukan, tentunya sebagai pengumpul data kebugaran jasmani. Aplikasi Sriwijaya Bugar juga dikenalkan sebagai sarana penilaian mandiri oleh peserta didik yang nantinya hasil dari tes kebugaran Jasmani oleh masing-masing peserta didik dapat diketahui secara langsung. Dampak dari kegiatan ini adalah semakin bertumbuhnya pengetahuan guru Pendidikan Jasmani terkait dengan tes kebugaran jasmani yang baik dan benar. Terlebih lagi saat ini telah ada Tes Kebugaran Pelajar Nusantara (TKPN) yang dikeluarkan oleh Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga (Kemenpora) sebagai pedoman baku dalam melaksanakan tes kebugaran jasmani. Harapannya, aplikasi Sriwijaya Bugar dan TKPN dapat berjalan beriringan untuk dapat menjadi Big Data Kebugaran Jasmani di Indonesia.

Abstract

A training and mentoring programmed to strengthen literacy and numeracy in schools with red report cards was implemented as a post-pandemic learning recovery effort. The programmed aims to improve the literacy and numeracy skills of students who are still below national standards, especially in schools with low learning outcomes. Through intensive training, teachers are empowered with pedagogical knowledge and skills to implement effective learning methods that suit learners' needs. This research method uses a qualitative-descriptive approach, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that the training and mentoring programmed succeeded in improving teachers’ competence in teaching and increasing students’ learning motivation. Thus, this programmed is expected to have a positive impact on strengthening teachers' capacity in implementing effective and sustainable learning. The findings provide important recommendations for the government and stakeholders in developing education policies that focus on restoring learning, particularly in low-performing schools.

Abstract

This study aims to develop animated video-based learning media using the Canva application on volleyball passing material for Junior High School students. The development of this media is expected to facilitate a more effective, interactive, and interesting learning process for students. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The development results show that this animated video media meets the criteria of validity, effectiveness, and applicability based on the assessment of material experts, media experts, and trials to students. The trial shows an increase in students' understanding of volleyball passing techniques, which is reflected in the improvement of students' learning outcomes after using the learning media. In addition, the use of Canva as an animation video creation platform proved to be efficient in producing creative and accessible media. In conclusion, this Canva-based animated video learning media is effective in improving students' understanding of volleyball passing material. This media can be implemented in the PE learning process at school and is recommended to be further developed in other sports materials

Abstract

Health has become a crucial aspect of life, where health literacy and physical literacy are two interconnected concepts related to individual health in understanding wellness and learning involving one's physical activities. This research aims to determine students' level of knowledge regarding health literacy and physical literacy. The study was conducted using a descriptive quantitative approach, employing survey methods. The research was carried out at SMPN 2 Kasui in the Waykanan district of Lampung province. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires involving all students. Based on the research findings, it was revealed that most of the students have yet to fully comprehend the concepts of health literacy and physical literacy. Limited educational resources and inadequate facilities have contributed to students possessing minimal knowledge about health. The results indicated that the level of health literacy knowledge among students at SMPN 2 Kasui is problematic. The distribution of physical literacy knowledge data among all students revealed that 20% fall into the 'low' category, 77% are 'moderate,' and 3% are classified as 'good.'

Abstract

The problem in this study is that there are students who do not have good hand eye coordination, arm muscle strength and balance, this can be seen when students shoot the ball not right on target and not directed. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between hand eye coordination, arm muscle strength, and balance on the results of shooting petanque. This type of research is quantitative with correlational research. Data analysis techniques with simple and multiple correlation tests using SPSS 27. The population of this study were 60 Sriwijaya University's penjaskes students. The sample of this study was 34 Sriwijaya University penjaskes students, the samples taken were only students who took petanque courses in semester 7. This study used tennis ball throwing and catching test instruments, pull and push dynamometer test kits, standing stork tests and petanque shooting games. The results showed a correlation between hand eye coordination, arm muscle strength and balance on petanque shooting results with a significant value of 0.00 and a value of R = 0.678. Conclusion There is a relationship between hand eye coordination, arm muscle strength and balance to the results of shooting petanque students of Penjaskes Sriwijaya University.

Abstract

This researcher wants to examine whether petanque athletes have the motivation to continue developing and increasing potential at the upcoming porprov XV in 2025. Because at the 2023 porprov event several districts and athletes who contributed participated, and the development of pentanque sports was not optimal. This study aims to examine whether there is motivation for petanque athletes after porprov XIV Year 2023. This study uses quantitative descriptive research with data collection methods. The population used was 88 petanque athletes. The sample in this study were 40 petanque athletes. Implementation and data collection using non-test technique methods in the form of questionnaires / surveys. The results of this study petanque athletes have high motivation, this refers to intrinsic motivation, namely encouragement from within athletes based on indicators of need, pleasure, and interest, which is 97.5%, while extrinsic motivation scores 87.5% which shows on a high category scale. with 39 athletes. Based on the data from the results of the analysis above, it can be concluded that the motivation of South Sumatra petanque athletes after porprov XIV Year 2023 is included in the high category, this refers to intrinsic motivation, namely encouragement from within athletes based on indicators of need, pleasure, and interest.
