Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to know the feasibility of flash card media from the results of pteridophyta inventory in the Gunung Sari Singkawang as lesson media in sub-material pteridophyta in highschool and identifying the type of pteridophyta. The sampling technique used was purpossive sampling following contours of the mountain on an altitude 25 m above sea level, 225 m above sea level to a height of 330 m above sea level. The reasults found 14 species of pteridophyta that is Lepisorus longifolius, Pityrogramma calomelanos, Cyclosorus heterocarpus, Nephrolepis hirsutula, Lygodium scandens, Blechnum capense, Lygodium flexuotum, Drynaria quersifolia, Drymoglossum piloselloides, Nephrolepis biserata, Asplenium nidus, Taenitis blechnoides Stenochlaena palustris,and Davallia denticulata. Flash card media of pteridophyta was validated by five validators consisting of three highschool biology teachers and 2 biology lecturers from FKIP Untan. Based on the validator’s assessment, flash card media was be avowed as valid with CVR and CVI values of 1, that it was suitable to be used as a lesson media in studying sub-material pteridophyta in highschool. Keywords : Feasibility, Flash Card, Pteridophyta

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada submateri Invertebrata kelas X SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Bentuk penelitian adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental Design) dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas X MIA 1 (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas X MIA 2 (kelas kontrol), adapun teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 20 butir. Dari hasil analisis data, diperoleh skor rata-rata hasil posttestsiswa pada kelas eksperimen adalah 16,91, sedangkan skor rata-rata hasil posttestkelas kontrol adalah 13,73. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji U- Mann Whitney menunjukkan bahwa Zhitung>Ztabel (-5,50> -1.96) sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dengan yang diajarkan menggunakan model konvensional. Nilai effect sizeyang diperoleh sebesar 1,55 termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 43,94%. Maka model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada submateri Invertebrata di kelas X SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Abstract: This research aims to find out the effectiveness of cooperative learning Jigsaw type to the students’ learning outcomes on Invertebrates submaterial for class X SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Kubu Raya Regency. The form of research is Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample of the reseach is Class X MIA 1 (experiment class) and Class X MIA 2 (control class), total sampling was used in the sampling technique. The instrument used are 20 items of multiple choice. From the data analysis, the average posttest score of students in experiment class is 16,91, while the average posttest score of students in control class is 13,73. Based on U-Mann Whitney test shows that Zcount> Ztable (-5,50 >-1,96). So it can be concluded that there is the difference between the students’ learning outcomes whom been taught by using cooperative learning Jigsaw type with conventional style. The effect size value obtained is 1,55 in the high category and accounted for 43,94%. So cooperative learning Jigsaw type influences positively on the students’ learning outcomes in Invertebrates submaterial for Class X SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Kubu Raya Regency. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray (TSTS) berbantuan flashcard terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada sub materi invertebrata kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah quasy experimental design dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitiannya yaitu kelas XG sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XF sebagai kelas kontrol, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel intact group. Instrumen yang digunakan tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 soal. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen adalah 16,38, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol adalah 14,88. Hasil analisis uji U Mann-Whitney diperoleh Zhitung<Ztabel yaitu -2,52˂-1,96, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS berbantuan flashcard dengan yang diajar menggunakan model konvensional berbantuan powerpoint. Nilai Effect Size diperoleh sebesar 0,74 dengan kategori sedang, memberikan pengaruh sebesar 27,04%. This research was quasy experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. Research samples were class X G as the experimental class and X F as the control class, with a sampling technique of intact group. The instrument used was the multiple choice test with a total of 20 questions. The average student learning outcome in the experimental class was 16,38, while the control class is 14,88. The results of the U Mann-Whitney test analysis showed that Zcount<-Ztable namely -2,52 ˂-1,96, meaning that there were significant differences between the learning outcome of students taught using TSTS cooperative learning model assisted a flashcard and the learning outcomes of students taught using a conventional learning model with a power point presentation. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis dan karakter dari bakteri asam laktat (BAL) yang berperan dalam proses fermentasi pekasam ikan kembung (Rastrelliger brachysoma). Isolasi bakteri dilakukan menggunakan media spesifik MRS Agar (de Man Ragosa Sharpe) dan diidentifikasi dengan metode standar dari Bergey’s Manual Determinative of Bacteriology Ninth Edition. Dari identifikasi tersebut didapatkan 1 isolat bakteri yang merupakan BAL dari genus Lactobacillus. Hasil dari isolasi dan karakterisasi BAL dibuat menjadi media pembelajaran berupa video yang dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran pada materi Archaebacteria dan Eubacteria kelas X SMA.  Berdasarkan hasil validasi media video, terdapat 10 kriteria dengan nilai CVR sebesar 0,99 sesuai dengan nilai CVR minimum Lawshe untuk 5 orang validator yaitu 0,99, sehingga media dinyatakan valid dan dapat dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi Archaebacteria dan Eubacteria untuk Kelas X SMA. Kata kunci: Video, Isolasi, BAL, Pekasam Ikan Kembung Abstract: This study was conducted to determine the type and character of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) that play a role in the fermentation process preserved fish mackerel (Rastrelliger brachysoma). Isolation of bacteria was performed using specific media MRS Agar (de Man Ragosa Sharpe) and identified by standard methods of Bergey's Manual of Determinative of Bacteriology Ninth Edition. From the identification of bacterial isolates obtained 1 is a LAB of the genus Lactobacillus. The results of the isolation and characterization of LAB made a medium of learning in the form of a video which can be used as an alternative medium of learning in Archaebacteria and Eubacteria material tenth grade student.  Based on the validation results video media, there are 10 criteria with CVR value of 0.99 according to the value of the minimum CVR Lawshe for 5 validator is 0.99, so that the media is valid and proper as a medium of learning in Archaebacteria and Eubacteria material for tenth grade student. Abstract

AbstractThe aimed of this research was to know the influence of Think Pair Share learning model assisted video media on student learning outcomes in sub material environmental contamination in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Tujuh Belas. This research was Quasi Eksperimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample of the study were VIIA class as experimental class and class VIIB as control class. The sampling technique was done by saturated sample technique. Instruments used was in the form of multiple choice test amounted to 20 items. The average post-test result score of experimental class students taught using Think Pair Share learning model with video media was 18.31 which was higher than control class taught using conventional learning at 15.69. Result of analysis of U-Mann Whitney test obtained by Zcount <- Ztable, - 5.14 <-1.96, meaning that there was difference between student learning result taught by using Think Pair Share learning model assisted by video media and conventional learning. The value of effect size was obtained at 1.35 which was in high category and contributes 41.15%. It can be concluded that the learning model of Think Pair Share with the video media has an effect on the result of student learning result on sub material environmental contamination in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Tujuh Belas.Keywords:  Think Pair Share, Video Media, Enviromental Contamination

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan jembatan keledai (Ezel Bruggece) berbantuan peta konsep pada sub pokok materi klasifikasi animalia.  Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 6 Teluk Keramat dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII B dengan jumlah 37 orang. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan 2 siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi dan tes, tes siklus I dan siklus II berbentuk pilihan ganda dengan jumlah 15 soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran terlaksana sesuai dengan rencana, pada siklus I diperoleh 90,91% dan pada siklus II sebesar 100%. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata 74,80 dengan ketuntasan belajar siswa 64,86%, dan meningkat pada siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata 78,60 dan ketuntasan belajar siswa 89,19%. Dengan demikian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan jembatan keledai (Ezzel Bruggece) berbantuan peta konsep dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi klasifikasi animalia.  Kata kunci : peta konsep, materi klasifikasi animalia   Abstract: The purpose of this research was to determine the implementation Abstract: Process of learning and improve student learning outcomes using mnemonics (Ezel Bruggece) aided concept maps on the subject sub classification animalia. The research was conducted in SMP 6 Teluk Keramat with research subjects are students of class VII B consist of 37. This research is a Class Action Research with 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, that is planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research instrument are sheets of observation and tests, test cycle I and cycle II consist of 15 multiple choice questions. The results showed that the implementation of learning accomplished in accordance with the plan, in the first cycle obtained 90.91% and in the second cycle is 100%. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle the average values ​​obtained 74.80 with student learning completeness is 64.86%, and increased in the second cycle with an average value is 78.60 and 89.19% of students learning completeness. Thus indicating that the application of mnemonics (Ezzel Bruggece) aided concept maps can enhance student learning outcomes in the material classification animalia. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the feasibility of pocket book as a learning media on submaterial utilization of biodiversity in Indonesia for Xth class high school students. The research method was descriptive with survey form. The pocket book was validated using validation instrument sheet. The pocket book feasibility test was performed by five validators that include an assessment of aspects of formatting, content, language, and attractiveness. From all aspects of the value indication CVR and CVI respective of 0.99. It can be concluded that the pocket book was valid and proper to be used as a media of instruction on submateri utilization of biodiversity of Indonesia Xth class high school students. Keywords: Pocket Book, Feasibility, Submaterial Utilization of Indonesia’s Biodiversity

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran flipchart sebagai  implementasi dari penelitian inventarisasi keanekaragaman ikan dan mengetahui jenis-jenis ikan yang terdapat di desa Padang Tikar. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif serta teknik pengumpulan data triangulasi. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan didapatkan 32 jenis ikan terdiri dari 24 famili.  Media flipchart diuji kelayakannya oleh tiga orang dosen Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Untan dan dua orang guru biologi kelas X SMA di dua sekolah yang ada di desa Padang Tikar. Berdasarkan penilaian validator, flipchart termasuk ke dalam kategori valid dengan nilai rata-rata total validasi 3.5 dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada submateri tingkat keanekaragaman hayati. Forms of this research is qualitative descriptive methods and techniques of data collection triangulation . From the results obtained 32 species of fish consisting of 24 families . Media flipcharts tested for feasibility by three lecturers of Biology Education Studies Program FKIP Untan and two tenth grade high school biology teacher in two schools in the village of Padang Tikar. Abstract

AbstractThis study was particularly aimed to reveal the application of cooperative model of Picture and Picture to students’ achievement in classification of living things material of seven grade students of SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak. The form of this study was a quasi-experimental. The design of this study was nonequivalent control group design. Data were collected from two classes; those are VIIB class (experimental group) and VIIA class (Control group). The sample was taken by intact group. The instrument of this study was multiple choice tests. The average of students' achievement of experiment group was 15,2, while the average of students’ achievement of control group was 13,9. the Mann-Whitney U test was obtained  Zcount(-2,11) < -Ztable (-1.96), it means that there was a different significant between students’ achievement who taught using cooperative model of Picture and Picture with students’ achievement who taught using conventional model. Keyword: students’achievement, cooperative model of Picture and Picture, classification of living things material.

Abstract

In the learning process with the use of biodiversity, socio-cultural and environment one of them can grow the skills to know self awarness and social attitudes. Thus need to expand the effort to growthe life skills through the application of learning by making the local benefits or local potential as a learning reference. This study aims to determine the increase in life skills through learning the local benefits based on a prospective biology teachers with lesson study. The subjects were students of the 2nd semester in academic year 2015/2016 which follows the course of environmental knowledge. Overall the average increase of cycle 1 to cycle 2 on aspects of cooperation (working towards the achievement of objectives of the group amounted to 0,15), showing effective interpersonal skills of 0,15), the communication aspect (expressing the idea/ ideas clearly of 0,64), aspect of making a decision (identify) the alternative is important and appropriate for consideration of 0,05), the troubleshooting aspect (accurately identifying obstacles or barriers of 0,03); choose and try out an adequate alternative of 0,03) while aspects dig and find information (collecting information in a relevant way) decreased by 0,4. The application of learning to use local benefits have improved life skills both generic and specific.Key Word:      life skill, local benefits.
