Abstract

The Problem in this research was the abilyty to write a description of the high school students of class X Bangun Rejo Pelita High Scholl Central Lampung Academic Year 2010/2011. This study aims to describe about the students skills in writing essays description.The method used in this reseach is a method of description. The population in this study were high school students of class X Pelita High School of Bangun Rejo Central Lampung Academic Year 2010/2011, amounting to 153 students spread over 4 classes. Samples were taken 15% of each class, so that the sample amounted to 23 students drawn randomly. The data is taken through a written test. Test such as essay writing task description with the experience they have.The results showed that mean score of the overall results of essay writing skills test descriptions Pelita high school students class X Bangun Rejo Central Lampung Academic Year 2010/2011 is 63,5% classified enough. The average capacity of each aspect are (1) the background of the title selection category excellent93,4%, (2) the accuracy of the posts with 60% categorized enough title, (3) similarity of the writing object category less 47,74%, (4) creating the impression readers categorized less 57,39%, (5) uncategorized outline less 58,28%, (6) a description of the facts in the sentence category enough 71,30%, (7) development of a sentence to paragraph 40,87% less uncategorized, (8) the preparation of a compotions paragraph description of 78,26% categorizedgood, (9) 44,35% effective sentence categorized less, (10) 77,39% categoryzed vocabulary good, (11) 70,43% categorized spelling enough, (12) the use of punctuation 69,57% categorized enough. From the results of the study can also be seen that the background for the selection of titles aspects are at the highest percentage is 93,4% and in the category of very good.Based on these results it can be concluded that the ability to write a description of the high scholl students of class X Pelita Bangun Rejo Central Lampung Academic Year 2010/2011 clasified as category enoughwith 63,5% and the percentage of outages drift interval 60%-74%.Keywords:Ability to Write, EssayDescription, Grade Student X.

Abstract

The problem of this research is how to understand complex procedure text in first year students of high school of SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung 2013/2014. The objective of this research is to describe the learning complex procedure text. This research method is qualitative descriptive by using technique of communication, observation, documentation, and triangulation in collecting the data. The scope of this research is teaching learning process between the teacher and the first year students of MIA 4 which consist of 31 students. The results showed that the learning plan has been aligned with indicators. Then for the implementation of learning, teacher and students have carried out 38 indicators of 40 existing indicators.The teacher assessment is to assess the process and assess the result. The conclusions of this research is learning of understand complex procedurce text in first year students of high school of SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung is good.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah pembelajaran memahami teks prosedur kompleks siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan Pembelajaran Memahami Teks Prosedur Kompleks. Metode penelitiannya, deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dalam pengumpulan datanya. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah kegiatan pembelajaran antara guru bidang studi bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas X MIA 4 yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, perencanaan pembelajaran telah selaras dengan indikator yang ada. Selanjutnya pelaksanaan pembelajaran, guru dan siswa telah melaksanakan 38 indikator dari 40 indikator yang ada. Penilaian guru yaitu penilaian proses dan penilaian hasil. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran memahami teks prosedur kompleks siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung sudah baik.Kata kunci: pembelajaran, siswa, teks prosedur kompleks.

Abstract

The problem in this research is how the development of a learning scenario based on problem based learning and higher order thinking skills in drama text for SMP class VIII. The purpose of this study is to describe the development of a learning scenario based on problem based learning and higher order thinking skills in drama text for SMP class VIII. This research uses research and development (rnd) method. The result of this study is the creation of a learning scenario product in drama text for SMP class VIII that has been validated. Validation is conducted by expert lecturers to test the feasibility of the product. The result of the validation is from material experts on the learning aspect obtained an average percentage of 89.9%, and the content aspect obtained an average percentage of 89.9% with very decent criteria. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengembangan skenario pembelajaran berbasis problem based learning dan higher order thinking skills teks drama kelas VIII SMP. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan skenario pembelajaran berbasis problem based learning dan higher order thinking skills teks drama kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (rnd). Hasil penelitian ini ialah terciptanya produk skenario pembelajaran pada teks drama kelas VIII SMP yang sudah divalidasi. Validasi dilakukan oleh dosen ahli untuk menguji kelayakan produk. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi pada aspek pembelajaran diperoleh rata-rata persentase 89,9%, dan pada aspek isi diperoleh rata-rata persentase 89,9% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Keywords: scenario development, PBL, HOTS, drama text.

Abstract

The research problem is how the teaching media is utilized in the learning of composing the expository text at the VII grade SMP Negeri 3 Pringsewu. The aim of this research is to describe the teaching media utilized in the learning of composing the expository text at the VII grade of SMP Negeri 3 Pringsewu. This research uses qualitative descriptive as the methodology of the research, in collecting the data is using of reduction data, showing data, and verification. The result of this research shows that in the teaching composing the exposition text, teacher utilizes audio visual media and media from book by applying scientific approach through monitoring, asking, understanding, trying and communicating.Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah pemanfaatan media dalam pembelajaran menyusun teks eskposisi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Pringsewu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan media dalam menyusun teks eksposisi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Pringsewu.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, pengambilan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan perekaman.Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam membelajarkan menyusun teks eksposisi, guru memanfaatkan media audio visual dan media cetak dengan menerapkan pendekatan saintifik melalui kegiatan mengamati, menanya, menalar, mencoba, dan mengomunikasikan.Kata kunci: media, pendekatan, teks eksposisi.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to describe of the correlation between students reading interest towards students short story writing ability of the tenth class at SMAN 4 Bandarlampung in 2012/2013. This research used correlation descriptive method. The subject of the research is student of the tenth class at SMAN 4 Bandarlampung. Based on the conducted research showed that students reading interestof tenth class at that school is included in middle predicate, that is the average score achievement is 62.47. Short story writing ability is include in high predicate, with the average score achievement is 73.67. As the large ofthe correlation between students reading interest towards students short story writing abilityas large as 0.638. based on interpretation tabel score r is showed the correlation between reading interest and short story writing ability includedthe high predicate. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan minat baca dengan kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif korelasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X sekolah menengah atas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Minat baca siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013 termasuk dalam predikat cukup, yaitu mencapai presentase nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 67,42. Kemampuan menulis cerita pendek termasuk dalam predikat baik, yaitu mencapai presentase nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 73,67. Besarnya nilai hubungan minat baca dan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek sebesar 0,638. Menurut tabel interpretasi nilai r maka tampak adanya hubungan minat baca dan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek yang termasuk dalam predikat tinggi.Kata kunci: hubungan, kemampuan, menulis, minat baca.

Abstract

The problem in this research is about learning of writing an anecdote text for the Tenth Grade of SMA Negeri 1 Metro. The purpose of this research is to describe learning of writing anecdote text in Tenth Grade of SMA Negeri 1 Metro. The method which used is descriptive qualitative. To collect the data, the researcher does several steps: interview, observation, and documentation. The result of research shows that the teacher does three steps in learning activities. The three steps are planning, implementing, and scoring. In planning learning teacher has arranged a complete RPP which is based on components of RPP. In implementing learning, there are two activities, namely teacher’s activity and student’s activity. In teaching learning process, the teacher does three activities, that is pre-activity, while activity, and post activity. To give the score of learning, teacher uses writing test technique and practice or work.Masalah penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Metro. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Metro. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan guru melakukan tiga tahap kegiatan dalam pembelajaran. Ketiga kegiatan dimaksud mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Pada perencanaan pembelajaran guru telah menyusun RPP yang lengkap berdasarkan komponen-komponen RPP. Pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran terjadi dua aktivitas, yaitu aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa. Ketika proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran guru melakukan tiga kegiatan, yaitu kegiatan pendahuluan, inti, dan penutup. Pada penilaian pembelajaran, guru menggunakan teknik tes tertulis dan tes praktik/unjuk kerja.Kata kunci: anekdot, menulis, pembelajaran.

Abstract

The problem in this research is how the development of learning media based powtoon in text report observasions for tenth grade high school students and how the feasibility of media based powtoon in text report observasions for tenth grade high school students. The purpose of this study is to describe the development of learning media based powtoon in text report observasions for tenth grade high school students and to describe the feasibility of media based powtoon in text report observasions for tenth grade high school students. This research uses research and development (rd) method. The result of this study is the creations of learning media based powtoon in text report observations for tenth grade high school students has been validated. Validation is conducted by expert lecturers to test the feasibility of product. The result of the validation is from material expert obtained an  average percentage 82% and the the media expert obtained an average percentage 81.25%. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengembanganmedia pembelajaran berbasis powtoon teks laporan hasil observasi kelas X SMAdan bagaimana kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis powtoon teks laporan hasil observasi kels X SMA. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pengembanganmedia pembelajaran berbasis powtoon teks laporan hasil observasi kelas X SMAdan mendeskripsikan kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis powtoon teks laporan hasil observasi kelas X SMA. Abstract

This research is intended to describe the variety of languages used in Mata Najwa talk show for the January, 2017 period and find out its implications for Indonesian Language for high school. Moreover, this research used a descriptive-qualitative design. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the variety of languages used in Mata Najwa talk show for the January, 2017 period is based on four aspects (1) the aspects of speakers dialect, colloquial, and jargon, (2) terms of use; for journalism context, (3) terms of formality formal, business, and relaxed, (4) terms of media oral form. Therefore, the result of this research may be implied in the Indonesian language learning KD 3.13 and 4.13 about developing problems or issues viewed from various perspectives completed by its debating argument for the even semester - tenth grades of senior high school.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan ragam bahasa dalam acara talk show Mata Najwa periode Januari 2017 dan mengetahui implikasinya dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitaf. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan ragam bahasa dalam acara talk show Mata Najwa periode Januari 2017 berdasarkan empat segi adalah sebagai berikut (1) segi penutur meliputi dialek, kolokial, jargon (2) segi pemakaian termasuk dalam ragam jurnalistik (3) segi keformalan formal, usaha, santai (4) segi sarana termasuk dalam ragam lisan. Hasil penelitian ini diimplikasikan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia KD 3.13 dan 4.13 tentang mengembangkan permasalahan/isu dari berbagai sudut pandang yang dilengkapi argumen dalam berdebat untuk SMA kelas X semester genap.Kata kunci: ragam bahasa, talk show, implikasi.

Abstract

Problem in this research is how to determine the imagery of the poem by Sapardi Djoko Damono in student at class VIII SMP. with the aim to describe the ability of students to determine imagery poem. Methods used in research is descriptive method. The population in study are all students of class VIII  SMP which amounts 168 people. Sample is taken is 20, so the total sample is 33 students. Data collecting techniques used was technical test with question test is  20 multiple choice and 2 essay questions. After the data is analysed obtained the score after as follows. The ability determine imagery poem of multiple choice questions with indicator visual imagery  is 73 quite, indicator auditory imagery is sufficient 74,  indicator termal imagery is 66 classified as sufficient, indicator kinestetik imagery was 67 classified sufficient,  Indicator olfactory imagery is 68 was sufficient. The ability to understand the essay question with indicator explain the definition imaging poetry is 86 classified very well. Indicators explain and mention the types of imagery with other names is 63 classified sufficient.Kata kunci: citraan, kategori, kemampuan pencitraan puisi

Abstract

The purpose of this research is  to describe the learning of  writing  an  exposition  text at the  seventh  grade  of  SMP  Negeri  2  Gadingrejo,  Pringsewu.  This  research  used descriptive  qualitative  method.  The  result  of  the  research  shows  that  the  teacher  had conducted  three  phases  in  the  learning. Those three  phases  are  planning, implementing, and  assessing. At  the  planning,  the  teacher  made  complete  lesson  plan  based  on  the components of 2013 curriculum lesson planning. In teaching and  learning process, there are  two  activities:  teacher’s  activities  and  student ’s  activities.  All  of  the  teaching learning  process  is  collected  in  the  application  of  scientific  approach  which  the  step consist  of  observing,  questioning,  collecting  the  data,  understanding,  and communicating. The assessment that was done by teacher includes attitude competence by using observation technique, also the assessment of knowledge and skill competence by using  a writen test.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi pada peserta  didik  kelas  VII  SMP  Negeri  2  Gadingrejo,  Pringsewu.  Penelitian  ini menggunakan  metode  deskriptif  kualitatif.  Hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan  bahwa  guru telah  melakukan  tiga  tahapan  dalam  pembelajaran.  Ketiga  tahapan  tersebut  meliputi perencanaan,  pelaksanaan,  dan  penilaian  pembelajaran.  Pada  perencanaan pembelajaran,  guru  membuat  rencana  pelaksanaan  pembelajaran  (RPP)  lengkap berdasarkan  komponen-komponen  RPP  pada  kurikulum  2013.  Pada  pelaksanaan pembelajaran  terdapat  dua  aktivitas,  yaitu  aktivitas  guru  dan  aktivitas  peserta  didik. Seluruh  aktivitas  pembelajaran  terangkum  dalam  pengaplikasian  pendekatan  saintifik yang  tahapannya  berupa  mengamati,  menanya,  mengumpulkan  data,  menalar,  dan mengomunikasikan.  Penilaian  yang  dilakukan  oleh  guru  mencakup  penilaian kompetensi  sikap dengan teknik observasi, serta  penilaian kompetensi pengetahuan  dan keterampilan dengan teknik tes tertulis.Kata kunci: menulis, pembelajaran, teks eksposisi.
