Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to increase the pH of peat soil with shellfish flour and sweet corn crop yield on peatland. This research was conducted from March 19 to May 27 2018. This research was located in Sepakat II, Jl Reformasi Southeast Pontianak Subdistrict, Bansir Laut sub-district, UNTAN. The method used is Completely Randomized Design consisted of 5 treatments, 5 replications and each replication there were 3 plant samples. The treatments were as follows: without treatment (p0), 2.7 kg / plot (p1), 4.5 kg / plot, (p2) 6.3 kg / plot (p3), and 8.1 kg / plot (p4) . The variables observed in this study were root volume (cm3), dry weight (g), chlorophyll leaf (sped unit), plant height (cm), weight of cob with skin (g), weight of cob without skin (g), length of cob (cm), and the diameter of the cob (cm). The results showed that the usage of shellfish flour can increase the pH of peat soil, growth and yield of sweet corn on peatlands. This study did not find the best dose of shellfish flour for the growth and yield of sweet corn crops on peat soil but the effective dose of shellfish flour was found in sweet corn plants which were given shells 2.7 kg / plot.Keyword :  shellfish flour, sweet corn, peat soil

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan berapa jarak tanam dan dosis pupuk kotoran ayam terbaik pada ubi jalar ungu di tanah gambut, serta untuk mengetahui apakah terjadi interaksi antara jarak tanam dan dosis pupuk kotoran ayam pada ubi jalar  di tanah gambut. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (Split PlotDesign) pola faktorial dengan dua faktor perlakuan terdiri dari jarak tanam (J) sebagai petak utama (mainplot) dan pupuk kotoran ayam (P) sebagai anak petak (subplot). Adapun jarak tanam terdiri dari tiga taraf, yaitu : j1 = (70 cm x 20 cm) j2 = (70 cm x 25 cm) j3 = (70 cm x 30 cm)dan pupuk kotoran ayam terdiri dari tiga taraf, yaitu : p1 = (10 ton/ha) p2 = (15 ton/ha ) p3 = (30 ton/ha). Masing-masingperlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali.Variabel yang diamati pada penelitian ini adalah, panjang batang utama (cm), klorofil daun (spad unit), Berat kering tanaman (g), Jumlah umbi Per Tanaman, Berat umbi segar Per Tanaman, Berat umbi segar Per petak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini tidak ditemukan perlakuan berbagai jarak tanam dan dosis pupuk kotoran ayam yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman ubi jalar ungu di tanah gambut serta tidak terjadi interaksi antara jarak tanam dan pupuk kotoran ayam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil ubi jalar ungu di tanah gambut. Kata kunci:JarakTanam,UbiJalarUngu, KotoranAyam, Tanah Gambut

PENGARUH PUPUK KOTORAN AYAM TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL DUA VARIETAS JAGUNG DI LAHAN SULFAT MASAM Eva Fransiska1), Surachman2), Dwi Zulfita 2), Basuni2) 1) Mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian dan 2) Dosen Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari dosis pupuk kotoran ayam yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil dua varietas jagung di lahan sulfat masam, mencari varietas jagung yang terbaik pertumbuhan dan hasil di lahan sulfat masam, mengetahui Interaksi antara pupuk kotoran ayam dan varietas jagung terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasilnya dilahan sulfat masam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Parit Canggek Kecamatan Sungai Kakap Kabupaten Kubu Raya Kalimantan Barat dari tanggal 8 Maret 2016 sampai 20 Juni 2016 dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen lapangan dalam bentuk rancangan Split Plot dengan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah Pupuk Kotoran Ayam dengan 3 taraf yaitu: tanpa pemberian Pupuk kotoran Ayam (p0), 7,5 ton/ha (p1) dan 15 ton/ha (p2). Faktor kedua adalah Varietas Jagung yaitu : Varietas Sukmaraga (v1) dan varietas Bima 7 (v2). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian Pupuk Kotoran Ayam berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 2, 3, 4, dan 5 MST, volume akar, luas daun, berat kering, panjang tongkol, diameter tongkol, berat biji pipil, berat tongkol per petak dan berat 1000 biji, berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap jumlah klorofil daun. Perlakuan Jenis Varietas berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 2,3, 4, dan 5 MST, berat kering tanaman, kadar klorofil daun, volume akar, berat biji pipil kering per tongkol, berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap luas daun, panjang tongkol, diameter tongkol, berat tongkol per petak dan berat 1000 biji.   Kata kunci :Jenis Varietas, Lahan Sulfat Masam, Pupuk Kotoran Ayam

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to find the best compost dose of corn waste on the growth and yield of vigna sinensis plants on alluvial soil. The research was carried out from 25 January 2019 - 21 March 2019. The research was conducted on Jl. Purnama Agung VII, Komplek Pondok Agung Permata, Parit Tokaya Village, South Pontianak. The method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments, 5 replications and each replication there were 4 plant samples. The following treatment p1 = 5 tons compost of corn waste / ha or equivalent to 100 gr / polybag, p2 = 10 tons compost of corn waste / ha is equivalent to 200 g / polybag, p3 = 15 tons compost of corn waste / ha equivalent to 300 g / polybag , P4 = 20 tons compost of corn waste / ha is equivalent to 400 g / polybag, P5 = 25 tons tons compost of corn waste / ha is equivalent to 500 g / polybag. The variables observed in this study were Root Volume (cm3), Chlorophyll Leaf Level (spad unit), Plant Dry Weight (g), Fruit / Plant (fruit) and Fruit Weight / Plant (g). The results showed that the best compost of corn waste for growth and yield of lvigna sinensis was 400 g / polybag, equivalent to 20 tons / ha but the variable fruit weight of pods per plant was not significant at a dose of 100 g / polybag or equivalent to 5 tons / Ha. Therefore, in this study, the effective dose of corn waste compost was found to be100 g / polybag, equivalent to 5 tons / ha.Keywords: Alluvial, Corn waste compost, vigna sinensis.

Abstract

Mung bean (Vigna radiata L.) is leguminoceae plant with high protein and big potential to be cultivated. Application of sea shells powder have an important role in improving the chemistry nutrition of the peat soil. The aim of the study is to determine the best dose of sea shells powder on the growth and yield of mungbean plants in peat soil. This research was carried out on experimental field Agriculture Faculty of Tanjungpura University, Pontianak which took place from April to June 2019. The method used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisted of 5 treatment levels, 5 replications, and 4 sample plants. Application of the sea shells powder treatment consist of k1 = 5 ton/ha, k2 = 10 ton/ha, k3 = 15 ton/ha, k4 = 20 ton/ha, and k5 = 25 ton/ha. The observed variables in this research consisted of plant height (cm), root volume (cm3), plant dry weight (g), number of pods (pods), dry seed weight (g), dry seed weight 100 (g). The results showed that the best dose of sea shells powder growth and yield of mung bean was a dose of 5 ton/ha or equivalent to 62 g/polybag.Keywords : mungbean, peat soil, sea shells powder.

Abstract

This study aimed to find the best dosage of chicken manure on the growth and yield of the purple long bean (Vigna sinensis L.) on the alluvial soil. The research was conducted at the research field of Agricultural Faculty Tanjungpura University Pontianak from April 19th - June 23th 2019. The Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used in the experiment with 5 levels of chicken manure dosage and 5 replications respectively. The levels of chicken manure dosage were 400, 800, 1.200, 1.600 dan 2.000 grams/polybag consecutively. The observed variables were root volume, chlorophyll content of leaf, plant dry weight, the fruit number per plant, and fruit weight per plant. The results showed that the best dosage of chicken manure for growth and yield of purple long bean (Vigna sinensis L.) was 1.200 grams/polybags equivalent to 15% chicken manure of the soil weight.Keywords: Alluvial, chicken manure, purple long bean.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze (1) the correlation of factors that affect the spread of forest fire indication, and (2) the pattern of distribution, land burning time, and the public perception of combustion in Kubu Raya and Bengkayang Districts. The research activities were carried out in 12 villages in Kubu Raya and Bengkayang Districts during the month of November 2014 until January 2014. The research method is using correlation analysis and descriptive to explain the distribution patterns, land burn time, and the public perception of combustion. The results showed: 1) there is a relationship between the purpose of combustion (open land and eradicate weeds) with the population, and there is no relationship between the objectives of land combustion on the combustion behavior of the land associated with the main types of cultivated plants, and there is a correlation to the density of hotspots, the density of dry land farming and bush, shrub/ swamp density, marsh density, density of plantation, and density of open land. 2) The pattern of the farmers burning rice, horticulture and perenninal crops were classified into the type of the pattern of spots and the perception is part of a burning activities,  type with ash beds and lodge with the perception of not being a part of burning activities, and type with only one time burning on the stages of land preparation, and type with in the eradication of weeds. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi POC yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil buncis pada tanah gambut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak, berlangsung dari tanggal 21 Maret sampai tanggal 21 Mei 2020. Metode yang digunakana adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri dari 5 perlakuan, 5 ulangan dan setiap ulangan terdapat 4 sampel tanaman, perlakuan tersebut adalah konsentrasi POC: p1 (1 ml/l air), p2 (2 ml/l air), p3 (3 ml/l air), p4 (4 ml/l air) dan p5 (5 ml/l air).Jumlah tanaman seluruhnya yaitu 100 tanaman. Variabel yang diamati pada penelitian ini adalah tinggi tanaman (cm) , volume akar (cm3), berat kering tanaman (g), jumlah polong per tanaman (buah), berat polong pertanaman (g), panjang polong (cm) dan berat polong per polong (polong). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian POC konsentrasi 5 ml/l air menunjukkan pertumbuhan dan hasil buncis yang terbaik pada tanah gambut, tetapi pemberian POC konsentrasi 1 ml/l air sudah efektif untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil buncis pada tanah gambut.Kata Kunci: Buncis, Gambut, Pupuk Organik Cair

Abstract

This study aims to obtain the best durian skin ash dose in the growth and the crop of cayenne pepper on peat soil. This research began from 13 April 2019 to 05 August 2019. This research was carried at Jl. Perdana Gg Mufakat. The method used in this research was Completely Randomized Design consisted of five treatments, five repetition, and each repetition contained four plant samples. The treatment as followed: k1= 21,66 tons/ha equivalent to 433 grams/polybag, k2 = 30,84 tons/ha equivalent to 602 grams/polybag, k3 = 38,55 tons/ha equivalent to 771 grams/polybag, k4 = 47,08 tons/ha equivalent to 941 grams/polybag and k5 = 55,52 tons/ha equivalent to 1.110 grams/polybag.  This research included durian skin ash production, seedbed media preparation, plant media preparation, ash application, planting, fertilizing, maintenance, and harvesting. The variables observed in this research were height plant (g), root volume (g), plant dry weight (g), leaf chlorophyll amount (spad unit), fruit weight (g), and the quantity of the fruit every plant. Besides that, this research observed the temperature condition(0C) and humidity (%). From this research, it can be concluded that the application of durian skin ash with dose of 38,55 tons/ ha equivalent to 771 grams/polybag is the best dose for the growth and the crop of cayenne pepper on peat soil.Key word: ash, cayenne pepper, durian skin

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair Herbafarm dan mencari konsentrasi terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil kale pada tanah gambut. Penelitian ini berlangsung dari tanggal 22 april  2020 – 22 mei 2020. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Jalan Reformasi Gang Struktur Untan Pontianak. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari lima perlakuan dan lima ulangan, setiap ulangan terdiri dari empat sampel tanaman. Perlakuan yang dimaksud yaitu pupuk organik cair 1 ml/l  (p1), 1,5 ml/l (p2), 2 ml/l (p3), 2,5 ml (p4) dan 3 ml/l (p5). Variabel pengamatan meliputi : jumlah daun, kadar klorofil, volume akar, luas daun, berat kering tanaman, dan berat segar tanaman. Hasil analisis keragaman pemberian berbagai konsentrasi Pupuk Organik Cair Herbafarm memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata terhadap komponen pertumbuhan tanaman kale pada tanah gambut yaitu variabel jumlah daun, kadar klorofil, volume akar, luas daun, berat kering tanaman, dan berat segar tanaman. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan konsentrasi Pupuk Organik Cair Herbafarm yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil kale pada tanah gambut yaitu konsentrasi 2 ml/l. Kata Kunci :  pupuk organik cair herbafarm, kale, gambut
