Abstract

Kurikulum menduduki posisi sentral dalam semua kegiatan pendidikan, dan untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan, kurikulum perlu meningkatkan kualitasnya dengan memperhatikan kebutuhan dan tahap perkembangan peserta didik di SMP NEGERI 15 Palu, kususnya pada siswa kelas VIII serta mengakomodasi kebutuhan pengembangan nasional. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memberi gambaran kurikulum merdeka sebagai wujud merdeka belajar yang ada di sekolah SMPN 15 PALU. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan sebagai metode untuk mengumpulkan data. Kurikulum merdeka merupakan pendekatan pendidikan yang sangat penting dalam konteks pendidikan modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Pancasila diintegrasikan melalui metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek, diskusi, dan simulasi kasus. Aktivitas ini meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, meskipun terdapat hambatan seperti kurangnya pelatihan guru dan modul ajar yang tidak sepenuhnya aplikatif. Kepala sekolah mendukung melalui kebijakan berbasis nilai Pancasila, namun keterlibatan orang tua perlu ditingkatkan. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka membuka peluang untuk pendidikan Pancasila yang lebih aplikatif, namun tantangan seperti kompetensi guru dan keterbatasan sumber daya perlu diatasi. Disarankan adanya pelatihan intensif, pengembangan modul kontekstual, serta penguatan kolaborasi antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan pendidikan Pancasila yang relevan dan berkelanjutan dengan perencanaan dan dukungan yang tepat, agar menjadi alat yang efektif dalam membentuk generasi yang lebih kompeten dan siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan media Canva dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas X di SMK Negeri 8 Palu. Motivasi belajar merupakan faktor penting yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan proses pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan media Canva, diharapkan siswa dapat lebih tertarik dan termotivasi dalam mengikuti pelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan 85% pada siswa setelah menggunakan media tersebut. Penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa pemanfaatan media Canva dapat menjadi salah satu strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan semangat dan minat belajar siswa di lingkungan sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Canva secara signifikan meningkatkan minat dan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Siswa menjadi lebih antusias dan termotivasi dan interaktif. Dengan demikian, media Canva dapat menjadi alternatif efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di lingkungan sekolah kejuruan.

Abstract

Neonatal jaundice is a common health problem in newborns, characterized by yellow discoloration of the skin and sclera due to increased bilirubin levels in the blood. This condition, if not detected and treated properly, can lead to serious complications such as kernicterus, which can lead to long-term neurological developmental disorders. Risk factors contributing to jaundice include suboptimal breastfeeding practices, delayed initiation of breastfeeding, and low birth weight. Adequate breastfeeding from an early age plays a crucial role in accelerating the excretion of bilirubin through feces, while monitoring birth weight can help identify infants at risk of hyperbilirubinemia. This outreach activity aims to increase mothers' and families' knowledge about the importance of early and exclusive breastfeeding, as well as monitoring birth weight as a preventive measure for neonatal jaundice. The activity was conducted at Andi Makkasau Regional Hospital using lectures, interactive discussions, and the use of educational media such as leaflets and posters. The training materials covered the definition, risk factors, signs and symptoms of jaundice, early detection procedures, the benefits of breastfeeding in preventing jaundice, and the importance of recording and monitoring infant weight. The activity was evaluated through pre- and post-tests to gauge participants' understanding. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge, particularly regarding the relationship between delayed breastfeeding, low birth weight, and an increased risk of neonatal jaundice. Furthermore, participants gained a better understanding of home-based measures to detect early symptoms and when to immediately take their baby to a health facility.

Abstract

This study aims to design and build a website-based new student admission system. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a waterfall development model, through the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data collection was carried out through direct observation, interviews with the school, and literature studies. The system was developed using PHP Native, MySQL, and Bootstrap with the help of the Visual Studio Code editor. The new student admission process at UPT SMPN 4 Satap Malangke is still done manually, causing obstacles such as file accumulation, recording errors, and lack of time and energy efficiency. The solution offered is an online system that allows prospective students to register, fill out forms, and upload documents without having to come to school. Admin can verify data more quickly and accurately. The test results using the black box method showed that all system functions were running well. Validation by system experts obtained an average score of 3.69 and by practitioner experts of 4.00, both in the "Very Eligible" category. Meanwhile, testing from 29 respondents obtained a percentage of 78.4% in the "Good" category..

Abstract

This research aims to improve the calculation skills for the operation of adding natural numbers using beads as a medium for class I students at SDN No. 14 Cikowang Presidential Instruction, Takalar Regency. The type of research used is Class Action Research which consists of two cycles where each cycle is carried out in three meetings. Research procedures include planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects in this research were class I students at SDN No. 14 Cikowang Presidential Instruction, Takalar Regency as many as 23 people. The research instruments used in this research were observation sheets and giving learning outcomes tests. The data collection techniques used are observation and tests. The results of the research showed that in cycle I, of the 23 students who completed individually, only 13 students or 57% met the minimum completion criteria (KKM) or were in the very low category. Classically it has not been fulfilled because the average value obtained was 63.1%. Meanwhile, in cycle II, of the 23 students, 23 had fulfilled the KKM and the average score obtained by students was 93.2%, which was in the very good category. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the use of bead media can improve the numeracy skills of adding natural numbers in class I students at SDN No. 14 Cikowang Presidential Instruction, Takalar Regency.

Abstract

Background: In 2021, there were 19.5 million diagnosed cases of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) in Indonesia. In Riau Province, T2DM ranked fifth among the most common conditions treated at community health centers in 2022. Obesity, a major risk factor for T2DM, had a national adult prevalence of 21.8% (Riskesdas 2018) and 24.1% in Riau. At Puskesmas Karya Wanita, 483 new T2DM cases were recorded in 2024, with 434 patients having a BMI ≥ 25 kg/m². The productive age group is particularly at risk for obesity and T2DM, yet screening remains suboptimal. Therefore, research on the relationship between obesity and T2DM at this primary healthcare facility is essential.Objective: To determine the association between obesity and the incidence of T2DM among individuals of productive age at Puskesmas Rawat Inap Karya Wanita, Pekanbaru.Methods: This was a quantitative analytic observational study with a cross-sectional design. The sample included productive age outpatients at the general clinic of Puskesmas Karya Wanita, selected using quota sampling. Data were analyzed using univariate, bivariate (Chi-square test), and Odds Ratio analyses.Results: A significant association was found between obesity and T2DM (p = 0.0029), with an Odds Ratio of 4.517.Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between obesity and T2DM in the productive age group. Individuals with obesity are 4.517 times more likely to develop T2DM compared to those without obesity.

Abstract

Teacher competency development is an important aspect in improving the quality of learning. The program of Kemahiran Mengajar Aplikasi Lapangan (KEMAL) is designed to provide hands-on teaching experience for students of Universitas Muslim Maros at MAS Darussalam Maros, South Sulawesi. The aim of this activity is to improve pedagogical competence, creativity in learning methods, and classroom management of students through participatory interactions with supervising teachers, principals, and students. The methods used include field observation, preparation of action plans, teaching practice, intensive mentoring, evaluation, and reflection. The results of this community service show an increase in students’ competence in compiling teaching materials, managing classes, and implementing creative learning strategies that are adaptive to students’ character. The active involvement of the school community encourages the creation of a participatory and conducive learning atmosphere. The implications of this activity show that the integration of field practice with a collaborative and reflective approach is effective in shaping the professionalism of prospective teachers and improving the quality of learning in partner schools. The novelty of this program lies in its sustainable and contextual participatory mentoring model.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' critical thinking skills based on introverted personality types in solving spatial problems in solving fifth grade classroom building problems at SD Hartaco Indah Makassar. This research uses descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through tests, questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. This study uses data analysis techniques, which consist of stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research results Students' critical thinking skills in solving spatial problems are encouraged and sharpened their minds in solving problems by training their minds in solving problems and linking mathematics learning problems with everyday life in a concrete and contextual way. The personality type of introverted students is a personality that is more comfortable with oneself, quiet who is called a closed person, prefers thoughts, concepts, ideas, analysis, prefers to work alone rather than working in groups, tends to be more careful in solving problems and solving problems. mathematics independently. Abstract

Data analysis is a useful part of research problems in order to provide data that has meaning and meaning as objective answer information. The use of tools in the analysis is largely determined by sharpness and accurate accuracy in drawing conclusions. For this reason, there needs to be insight and understanding in various analytical techniques. Data analysis techniques are generally divided into two parts, namely quantifiable research data analysis and qualitative research data analysis. Quantitative data analysis techniques consist of descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Descriptive presentation can be presented in the form of diagrams, tables, modes, mean, median, standard intersections and ranges in a number value. For inferential analysis consists of correlation test, chi square test, linear regression and comparative testing. While qualitative, namely interpretative approach, social anthropological approach and collaborative social research approach. Testing the validity of data in qualitative research includes tests of credibility, transferability dependability and confirmability.

Abstract

Modern education requires students to develop critical thinking skills to keep pace with rapid advances in science and technology. One instructional approach that can foster these skills is discovery learning integrated with outdoor study, which enables learners to construct understanding through direct field experiences. This study aimed to examine the effect of an outdoor study–based discovery learning model on the critical thinking skills of Grade 10 students at State Senior High School 7, Kupang City. Using a quantitative quasi-experimental design, the research involved two groups: an experimental class taught through outdoor study–based discovery learning and a control class taught through conventional instruction. Participants were Grade 10 students at State Senior High School 7, Kupang City. Data were collected through critical thinking tests, classroom observations, and documentation. Learning improvement was analyzed using the normalized gain (N-gain), while between-group differences were assessed using an independent-samples t-test. The discovery learning procedure comprised six stages—stimulation, problem statement, data collection, data processing, verification, and generalization—each embedded within outdoor study activities to help students connect theoretical concepts with observable phenomena in their surrounding environment. The results indicate that the outdoor study–based discovery learning model produced greater improvements in students’ critical thinking skills than conventional learning, as reflected in higher N-gain scores and statistically significant t-test outcomes. In conclusion, integrating outdoor study into discovery learning is effective for enhancing critical thinking in geography and can serve as a viable alternative strategy for teachers seeking to design meaningful learning experiences.
