Abstract

Weed vegetation refers to plants that grow in agricultural land, gardens, or other environments that are undesirable to humans. The aim of the research was to analyze weed composition and determine the value of weed diversity in teak plant stands and sengon plant stands. Analysis of weed vegetation on land with the SDR coefficient value of weed species, to see differences in weed composition between two stands using a community index. The research was carried out in Sumber Girisuko Village Panggang District, Gunungkidul Regency. Determining the research location used the purposive sampling method and weed sampling using systematic random sampling, while the analysis method used the quadratic method. The results obtained show that in this study 10 weed species were found from 6 families, namely Passifloraceae, Colchicaeae, Asteraceae, Poaceae, Convolvulaceae, and Verbenaceae. In the land under teak stands, 5 species were found with SDR values of 0.03-0.61, in land under sengon stands there were 8 species with SDR values of 0.02-0.48. The value of the community coefficient for the land under the teak and sengon stands was 16%, meaning that the weeds on the two lands were not uniform. The diversity index (H') value for land under teak stands is 1.10 and for sengon stands is 1.52, which means it is classified as moderate. The Simpson dominance index was found to be 0.40 in land under teak stands, and 0.27 in sengon stands, meaning that weed species were present but did not dominate.

Abstract

Abstrak: Sapi lokal Aceh adalah salah satu jenis sapi terbaik di Indonesia, dengan daging gurih, manis, dan lezat. Sapi diketahui tahan terhadap penyakit. Kondisi peternakan sapi Aceh saat ini belum tertata rapi, masih bersifat tradisional dan belum menerapkan teknologi yang modern. Sapi di Aceh sering berkeliaran di jalan raya, kampus, dan pemukiman penduduk, karena peternak sapi biasanya merawat sapinya dengan cara melepaskannya dan juga dengan cara menggembala di padang rumput. Hal ini tidak hanya dapat menyebabkan kekacauan beradanya sapi di jalanan tetapi juga meresahkan peternak sapi, tidak hanya itu ternak juga menjadi kekurangan pasokan pakan sehat sehingga produktivitas menjadi rendah. Kondisi sapi di Desa Blang keutumba sudah dikandangkan, terlihat bahwa sapi tidak diberi pakan sehat dan juga tidak digembala di padang rumput. Untuk mengatasinya diperlukan dana yang cukup tinggi untuk memenuhi pemberian pakan, kondisi peternak sapi semakin sulit dan sapi-sapi tampak kurus, karena kekurangan makanan. Jumlah lahan yang tersedia semakin berkurang. Pada pengabdian ini dilakukan perkenalan teknologi untuk memberi pakan sapi olahan dan kombinasi rumput gajah dan limbah pertanian, yang dapat menghasilkan ternak yang sehat dan gemuk, sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan pendapatan peternak, diharapkan akan dipenuhi oleh kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini.Abstract: Local Aceh cattle are one of the best types of cattle in Indonesia, with savory, sweet and delicious meat. Cows are known to be resistant to disease. The current condition of Aceh's cattle farms is not yet neatly organized, is still traditional and does not apply modern technology. Cows in Aceh often wander on highways, campuses and residential areas, because cattle breeders usually care for their cattle by releasing them and also by grazing them in pastures. This can not only cause chaos with cows on the streets but also disturb the local community. Not only that, livestock also suffers from a shortage of healthy feed, resulting in low productivity. The condition of the cows in Blang Keutumba Village is that they are in a pen. It can be seen that the cows are not given healthy food and are also not grazed on pasture. To overcome this, quite a lot of funds are needed to meet the provision of feed, the conditions for cattle breeders are increasingly difficult and the cows appear thin, due to lack of food. The amount of land available is decreasing. In this community service, technology is introduced to provide processed cattle feed and a combination of elephant grass and agricultural waste, which can produce healthy and fat livestock, thereby increasing the productivity and income of breeders. It is hoped that this community service activity will be fulfilled

Abstract

Lack of mature preparation related to disaster mitigation, low disaster response performance, and lack of introduction of disaster reduction education in the education sector are major disaster vulnerability issues in Indonesia.The need for disaster preparedness must be strengthened, especially for children. Children are one of the most vulnerable and often forgotten groups when disaster strikes. For this reason, children need to be involved in disaster mitigation activities through disaster mitigation education. Efforts to increase knowledge of disaster mitigation in children can be done using Spin Challenge educational game media. To determine how effective the Spin Challenge is as an educational medium to enhance the knowledge of elementary school students, this experimental study was conducted with a control group with pre-test and post-test. 82 students selected with a total sample approach were used as respondents in this study. Questionnaires on disaster mitigation are used to obtain data. In this study, the statistical tests used were the Mann-Whitney test and the Wilcoxon test. There are significant differences in knowledge levels (p-value = 0.000) of disaster mitigation before and after students were given disaster mitigation education using Spin Challenge educational media. There is an influence on the level of knowledge of disaster mitigation after children get disaster mitigation education using the educational game medium Spin Challenge.

Abstract

This study aims to see the impact of firm size, leverage, firm age, media visibility, and industry affiliation on sustainability reporting disclosure as measured by the score of the GRI indicator. This study uses multiple linear regressions with E-views software. This study also utilizes pollution from firms that are admitted to the LQ 45 index listed on the BEI from 2014 to 2018. The research sample used was 18 purposive sampling method selected firms. The results of this study that have been processed simultaneously are that firm size, leverage, firm age, media visibility and profitability have a significant impact on SR disclosure. Partially, Firm Size and Media Visibility do not have a significant impact on SR disclosure. Leverage and Firm Age have a negative and significant impact on SR disclosure, while profitability has a positive and significant impact on SR disclosure.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/jkdp.v25i1.4941

Abstract

Kualitas hidup atau health related quality of life (HRQoL) adalah penilaian secara subjektif terhadap kesehatan fisik dan mental. Lingkungan, nilai budaya, dan faktor ekonomi semuanya berdampak pada kualitas hidup. Kualitas hidup dipengaruhi oleh faktor psikologis, sosial dan dukungan keluarga. Pada umumnya lansia mengalami keterbatasan, sehingga kualitas hidup pada lansia mengalami penurunan.penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas hidup lansia di panti bhakti siti anna dan rumah kasih emaus kota pangkal pinang. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian cross-sectional Jumlah sampel yaitu 43 lansia, dengan pengambilan sampel total sampling yang dilakukan pada tanggal 07-20 juni 2024. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi square. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapati bahwa Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara faktor psikologis ( p= 0,0000, POR= 38,000), dukungan sosial (p=0,000, POR=15,833), dan dukungan keluarga (p=0,000, POR=15,833) dengan kualitas hidup lansia Di Panti Bhakti Siti Anna dan Rumah Kasih Emaus Kota Pangkalpinang. Saran untuk penelitian ini yaitu untuk pihak panti dapat mengadakan konseling rutin kepada lansia, melakukan pengembangan komunikasi social, serta mengadakan program dukungan keluarga.

Abstract

Surgical procedures involving the nervous system have an incidence of intubation failure in all age categories and cause severe complications such as hypoxia, aspiration, and increased intracranial pressure, which can worsen the patient's neurological condition. Accurate preoperative assessment is important to predict intubation-related complications. One of the important predictors of intubation success is the Mallampati score. Several studies on Mallampati Score showed different results, so this study aimed to find out the relationship between Mallampati score and intubation success in neurosurgery patients. This study is an observational analysis with a cross-sectional design, conducted from February 12 to March 23, 2024. The sampling technique used a total sampling with 33 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using the Chi-Square test. Most respondents with Mallampati Score 1-2 successfully underwent intubation (42.4%). Respondents with Mallampati scores in grades 3-4 mostly experienced failed intubation (39.4%). There was a statistically significant association between Mallampati scores and intubation success in neurosurgical patients. The Mallampati score can be used as part of a comprehensive airway assessment. Additional instruments and comprehensive clinical evaluation improve the success of intubation and reduce the risk of complications. Respondents with Mallampati scores in grades 3-4 mostly experienced failed intubation (39.4. Future research is encouraged to study how cultural and demographic factors affect Mallampati's score and its predictive value in different populations, which could provide insights into its generalization and application in various healthcare contexts.

Abstract

Physical activity is very important for the elderly, because it is a form of prevention against various degenerative diseases and can train the elderly to be independent in carrying out daily activities. This study aims to determine the factors that affect the independence of the elderly in the Simpang Katis Health Center Area, Central Bangka Regency. This research was designed using a cross-sectional research design with independent variables (pain, anxiety and family support) and a dependent variable (elderly independence) with a sample of 62 people. The results of the study used the Chi-Square Test, namely pain p-value 0.000 < 0.05, anxiety p-value 0.000 < 0.05 and family support p-value 0.000 < 0.05. This shows that there is a significant relationship between pain, anxiety and family support on the independence of the elderly in the Simpang Katis Community Health Center Area, Central Bangka Regency. The results of this research are expected to provide benefits for researchers to broaden insight and knowledge and can be used as research reference material and further refer9nce so that it can be developed in the application of nursing care.

Abstract

Background: The earlier integration of IPE in the clinical environment makes students explore the roles and responsibilities of each profession through active learning. One application of IPE learning in disaster management can be applied with the Tabletop Disaster Exercise (TDE) method, this can help students develop IPC skills between health professionals and is very important to apply in managing critical condition situations. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of the application of TDE in the readiness of IPE learning on students of Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta.Methods: This research is a quasi experimental research. The research was conducted in June-August 2024 at the Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta. The sample size was 96 students, taken using purposive sampling. Results: There is a difference in readiness level between pre-test and post-test among respondents after TDE intervention (p value=0.000). There is a difference in the level of knowledge between pre-test and post-test among respondents after TDE intervention (p value=0.000).Conclusion: From the result of this research can be concluded that the application of TDE can have a significant effect on the readiness of IPE learning in health students of the Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Selama masa pandemi, terdapat sejumlah tenaga kesehatan yang memiliki berbagai peran selain menjadi tenaga kesehatan sebagai garda depan mereka juga merupakan seorang ibu untuk anaknya, istri untuk suaminya. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat dinamika dukungan pasangan yang diberikan oleh suami dari tenaga kesehatan dengan Subjective Well Being  yang dimiliki tenaga kesehatan yang juga seorang Ibu. Penelitian bersifat kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel merupakan tenaga kesehatan Rumah Sakit Awal Bros Batam yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 152 orang, dengan kriteria tenaga kesehatan yang juga berperan sebagai Ibu. Instrumen yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini ada dua yaitu Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) dan Positive Affect Negative Affect Scale (PANAS). Data diuji menggunakan korelasi Product Moment Pearson dari SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya korelasi dengan tingkat hubungan yang cukup kuat dan positif. Subjective Well Being yang dimiliki sebagian besar tenaga kesehatan berada pada kategori sangat tinggi (56 responden), demikian juga dengan dukungan yang diberikan pasangan (46 responden). Dukungan yang diperoleh dari pasangan, dipercaya dapat meningkatkan subjective well being, sehingga mereka mampu menyeimbangkan kehidupan pribadi maupun kerja.

Abstract

The city of Lhokseumawe is famous for its rows of beautiful and exotic beaches, one of which is the Pusong Reservoir tourist attraction. Pusong Reservoir is a water reservoir that has a very aesthetic charm, because it is located next to the ocean and has many shady trees. However, this beach is experiencing quite serious problems with lots of rubbish strewn around and causing a foul smell. Cleanliness of the beach area from rubbish is the main requirement so that tourists are comfortable and at home enjoying the beauty of nature, For this reason, the waste problem requires serious handling, especially raising awareness among the people who live around the Pusong Reservoir. To overcome this problem, the PKM team carried out outreach and assistance to communities directly related to the existence of the Pusong reservoir. The results of this PKM show that ways and steps in building and increasing awareness and concern for environmental cleanliness need to be carried out to build synergy because this factor can influence public awareness.
