Abstract

Abstract

The Qur'an as a guide to life for Muslims contains various methods in maintaining the balance of life, both in spiritual, social and moral aspects. This research examines the Islamic methods contained in the Qur'an in shaping the balance of life through an educational approach and moral development. Using conceptual analysis and a qualitative approach, this study identifies several main methods taught in the Qur'an, namely modeling, reward and punishment, reflection, experiential learning, and trial and error equilibrium. The results show that these methods not only shape individual character but also create harmony in social and spiritual life. The implications of this research contribute to the development of Islamic values-based educational strategies that can be applied in various contexts, including formal and non-formal education.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between gender and the development of Islam on Ay Island, Banda Neira, from a socio-religious perspective. The main focus of this research is the role of men and women in religious life, Islamic education, and their involvement in socio-religious practices. This research uses a quantitative method with a correlational approach. Data were obtained through surveys, interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis of the history of Islamic development on Ay Island. The results show that there are differences in participation between men and women in various socio-religious aspects. In religious leadership, 85% of formal positions are still dominated by men, while women are more active in informal Islamic education such as pengajian and madrasah, with 72% of community-based activities managed by women. However, only 35% of women hold leadership positions in formal socio-religious organizations. In addition, 64% of women feel they have limited access to large-scale religious activities, although 78% of communities have shown increased acceptance of women's active role in socio-religious activities. The implications of this study show that although Islam on Ay Island provides space for women's participation, there are still gaps in access and formal leadership. Therefore, efforts are needed to increase women's involvement in wider religious activities through more inclusive policies and strengthening women's capacity in leadership. The results of this study contribute to the understanding of gender dynamics in coastal Muslim communities and provide insights for academics and policy makers in developing Islam-based gender empowerment strategies.   REFERENCES Aldi, Muhammad, and Ahmad Barizi. “Filsafat Ilmu Dalam Perspektif Budaya Alam Minangkabau: Membangun Kearifan Lokal Untuk Pengembangan Pengetahuan.” Teaching and Learning Journal of Mandalika (Teacher) e-ISSN 2721-9666 6, no. 1 (2025): 212–21. https://doi.org/10.36312/teacher.v6i1.4124 Aldi, Muhammad, and Akhmad Nurul Kawakib. “Reconstruction of Islamic Education Philosophy in Minangkabau Customary Values: Actualizing the Principles of Adat Basandi Syarak, Syarak Basandi Kitabullah.” JIIP-Jurnal Ilmiah Ilmu Pendidikan 8, no. 2 (2025): 1548–57. https://doi.org/10.54371/jiip.v8i2.6902 Aldi, Muhammad, and Retisfa Khairanis. “The Synergy of Religion and Malay Culture in Improving the Empowerment of Islamic Communities Towards Achieving SDGS.” PERADA 7, no. 2 (2024). https://doi.org/10.35961/perada.v7i2.1758 Aldi, Muhammad, and Moh Toriquddin. “History of Thought Syuhudi Ismail: A Study of Textual and Contextual Analysis of Prophetic Hadiths.” J-CEKI: Jurnal Cendekia Ilmiah 4, no. 2 (2025): 1723–32. https://doi.org/10.56799/jceki.v4i2.7141 Berryman, Alex J, Andrew J Spencer, Puja Sharma, and James A Eaton. “A Taxonomic Revision of Banda Myzomela Myzomela Boiei (S. Abstract

Productivity or commonly called productivity index (PI) in a well will decrease. Marked by a decrease in reservoir pressure (Pr), well flowing pressure (Pwf) and rate (Q) in the "Jose-1" well also decreased due to deposits (Scale) formed in the production zone, thus inhibiting Pr, Pwf and Q. Therefore, the solution that can be done to overcome this problem is well stimulation. The purpose of well stimulation in the "Jose-1" well is to overcome the deposits (Scale) formed so that Q increases. The deposits (Scale) formed can be identified by formation water parameters using several methods, one of which is the Stiff and Davis method with the Scaling Index (SI) parameter obtained. The stimulation method used is the matrix acidizing method, the success parameters of the matrix acidizing method can be seen from the Inflow Performance Relationship (IPR) parameters before and after as well as the PI before and after. This Final Assignment writing is done using manual calculations via excel. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, the "Jose-1" well experienced a decrease in pressure and production flow rate caused by CaCO3 deposits (Scale), proven by the SI value parameters using the Stiff and Davis method where SI> 0 (Tends to precipitate or precipitate CaCO3) which is 1.13 and a skin value of 12.5. After acid injection was carried out on the well, the oil rate (Qo) from 90 bopd increased to 144,539 bopd.

Abstract

This study aims to identify traditional Minangkabau cultural values relevant to character education and their contextual integration within contemporary educational practices, both formal and non-formal. Rooted in a rich cultural and philosophical tradition, the Minangkabau community upholds values such as deliberation (musyawarah), mutual cooperation (gotong royong), and respect for elders—principles that align closely with the objectives of character formation. Employing a qualitative research design with a historical-cultural approach, data were collected through literature review, in-depth interviews with traditional leaders and educators, and participatory observations in Minangkabau communities. Thematic analysis was used to interpret the data and identify key cultural elements with educational relevance. Findings reveal that core Minangkabau principles, notably Adat Basandi Syarak, Syarak Basandi Kitabullah, and the traditional surau-based learning model, contribute significantly to fostering ethical, social, and spiritual dimensions of character. However, the research also highlights the tension between traditional value systems and the demands of standardized modern education, which often marginalizes local wisdom. The study underscores the importance of developing culturally responsive curricula that integrate indigenous values into character education frameworks. This research contributes to broader educational discourse by offering practical insights for educators and policymakers seeking to enrich national education systems through the integration of local cultural heritage. It advocates for a sustainable approach to character education that balances cultural identity with educational innovation.

Abstract

Background: Islamic education in Indonesia experienced significant dynamics under pressure and interaction with state power during the Old and New Order periods. Purpose: This research aims to examine the forms of resistance and adaptation of Islamic education in the socio-political context of the Old and New Order eras. Method: This research uses a qualitative approach with a historical-critical study design. Data sources come from education policy documents, historical archives, and relevant secondary literature. The population in this research is all Islamic education policies during the Old Order and New Order, with samples in the form of documents and representative policies selected purposively. The research instrument is a document review guide and the analysis technique uses a content analysis approach to the socio-political dynamics of Islamic education. Results and Discussion: This study found that Islamic education during the Old Order showed resistance to the penetration of state ideology, while during the New Order there was a process of structural adaptation for the sustainability of Islamic education institutions. This finding shows a shift in the strategy of Islamic education actors in responding to power pressures. The results of this study fill the historical gap related to the relationship between the state and Islamic education, which has not been studied from a critical socio-political perspective. Conclusions and Implications: Islamic education shows flexibility between resistance and adaptation in the face of state control. This result implies the importance of understanding Islamic education not only as a religious institution, but also as a political and social arena that actively shapes national identity.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to increase interest in learning Arabic through the application of interactive and contextual methods that are relevant to the needs of students. High interest in learning is an important factor in the success of learning Arabic, especially in the midst of the challenge of low learning motivation among students. Interactive methods, such as group discussions and educational games, as well as contextual methods that connect the subject matter with daily life situations, are expected to increase students' participation and understanding. The research used a qualitative approach with a classroom action research design. Data was collected through direct observation, interviews with students and teachers, and questionnaires to measure the level of interest in learning before and after the application of this method. The data analysis technique involved the description and interpretation of the results of the action to determine the impact of the method used. The results showed that interactive and contextual methods significantly increased students' interest in learning Arabic. Students became more active in learning, showed more enthusiasm, and were able to apply vocabulary and grammar in relevant contexts. Teachers also noted an increase in students' understanding and skills in using Arabic. The implication of this research confirms that the application of interactive and contextual methods can be an effective solution to increase interest in learning Arabic. The contribution of this research provides guidance for educators to adopt more innovative approaches, so that Arabic language learning is not only academically relevant but also interesting and fun for students.
