Abstract

Berdasarkan data dari Kementerian Kesehatan Indonesia, telah terjadi peningkatan jumlah pada kasuspenyakit stroke sebesar 3.9% mulai dari tahun 2013 sampai dengan tahun 2018. Secara nasional, jumlahkasus stroke sering terjadi pada kelompok yang memiliki rentang umur antara 55-64 tahun dan palingsedikit terjadi pada rentang umur 15-24. Stroke atau (Cerebrovascular Accidents) merupakan sebuahkeadaan dimana aliran darah ke otak mengalami gangguan mendadak atau berkurang. Hal tersebutdapat disebabkan oleh penyumbatan atau pecah pembuluh darah, sehingga sel-sel pada area otak tidakmendapatkan pasokan darah yang nutrisi dan oksigen. Diperlukan deteksi dini yang bertujuan untukmengurangi jumlah potensi kematian akibat stroke. Prediksi stroke masih menjadi tantang dalam bidangkedokteran, salah satu penyebabnya adalah volume data pada data medis yang memiliki heterogenitasdan kompleksitas yang tinggi. Teknik machine learning merupakan model analisis data yang dapatdigunakan untuk memprediksi penyakit stroke. Berbagai model pembelajaran machine learning telahdiusulkan oleh peneliti-peneliti sebelumnya, salah satunya Support Vector Machine. Penelitian inimencoba menerapkan kembali algoritma SVM dengan mendapatkan hasil kinerja lebih baik daripenelitian sebelumnya. Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan nilai accuracy sebesar 100% dan nilai ROC-AUC sebesar 100%. Perlu dilakukan pengkajian lagi terkait hasil yang didapatkan hingga mencapai100%.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan suatu alat bantu dalam menyampaikan materi dari guru kepada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan media pembelajaran pada materi bangun datar kelas IV sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini menggunakan metode atau pendekatan kepustakaan (library research), pengumpulan data dalam penelitian dilakukan dengan menelaah dan/atau mengekplorasi beberapa jurnal, buku, dan dokumen-dokumen (baik yang berbentuk cetak maupun elektronik) serta sumber-sumber data dan atau informasi lainnya yang dianggap relevan dengan penelitian atau kajian. Pembelajaran matematika menggunakan media pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan dari tujuan pembelajaran yang akan dicapai, tujuan pembelajaran tercapai salahsatunya dengan melihat hasil belajar siswa. Media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan bisa media visual, media audiovisual, media audio bahkan media digital. Media yang pernah digunakan dari penelitian terdahulu yaitu media puzzle, papan tempel, flipbook, geoboard, dan media tangram.

Abstract

Socialization activities regarding organic farming with a hydroponic system to encourage the community to develop the potential for advanced and sustainable agricultural systems in Sakra Timur village. The purpose of this activity is to provide understanding and training to the community with practical skills that can be applied in everyday life with the hydroponic system method. The methods used include lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and demonstrations. The results of the activity showed that the number of participants was in accordance with the expectations of the Pengabdi team, which was 30 people. The results of this activity ran successfully and smoothly, reflected in the enthusiasm of the participants throughout the event. The enthusiasm of the participants can be seen from the seriousness of the community in listening to the material and active involvement in the question and answer session.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities can provide knowledge in the form of information and increase understanding regarding the importance of cooperative financial statements prepared and made professionally. Cooperative financial reports can be said to be healthy if the financial management of the reports made is managed according to cooperative accounting standards. The method of implementing the Socialization of Cooperative Financial Reports in the Cooperative Unit of Muara Penimbung Ogan Ilir Village is in the form of lectures and discussions. The results obtained by the participants or members of the cooperative who participated in the socialization were very enthusiastic about listening to the lectures that the team delivered regarding the cooperative's financial statements. And the importance of Community Service activities in 2021 for the participants or members of the Muara Penimbung Ogan Ilir Village Unit Cooperative.

Abstract

Abstract Fish skin is rich in collagen (80%-90%). However, catfish (Pangasius sp.) skin has a high lipid content, which can reduce the quality of collagen. Therefore, treatment is needed to remove the lipid using ultrasonic assisted extraction (UAE) with ethanol. Hence, the aim of the present study was to remove lipid content from catfish skin as a raw material for collagen by using UAE with different concentrations of ethanol (25, 50, and 75%). The research was conducted in three stages: removing impurities, collagen extraction, and characterization of collagen. The result exhibited that UAE-ethanol treatment was capable of removing up to 85.6% of lipid content, and the produced collagen had the potential to be utilized as an alternative source of collagen based on its properties. Highlight Research Ethanol could be used as extractor of lipid from catfish skin of Pangasius Ultrasonic assisted extraction could increase efficiency of lipid extraction from catfish skin. Fish skin of Pangasius sp. has a potential source for collagen. Collagen from skin of Pangasius sp. has a good characteristic with high protein content.

Abstract

AbstractThe expected aim of conducting this research is to determine the application of the demonstration method assisted by audiovisual media in the form of video in improving student learning outcomes in Class IV Science and Technology subjects at SDN 9 Limboto. The type of research used in this research is the classroom action research approach. Classroom action research is research where the root of the problem arises in the classroom and is known to the teacher. This research was conducted to improve or overcome problems encountered during the learning process. Students in following the learning process using demonstration methods assisted by audiovisual media in the form of videos show positive results. The results of this research show that student learning outcomes in science and science subjects have increased after going through the demonstration method assisted by audiovisual media in the form of videos which can be seen from the pre-test average score of 57.68 with a learning completion percentage of 37%, test questions in cycle I average score- an average of 64.56 with a learning completeness percentage of 56%, up to the second cycle test questions the average score was 76.68 with a learning completeness percentage of 87%. The application of the Demonstration Method Assisted by Audiovisual Media in the form of Video can improve the learning outcomes of class IV students in the science and sciences subject at SDN 9 Limboto. The recommendation that can be taken from this research is to support the implementation of demonstration methods assisted by audiovisual media in the learning context. Keywords: Demonstration Method Assisted; Audiovisual Media in the Form of Video; Improving Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

The spread of Islam in West Kalimantan was carried out by merchants, dai, and sea nomads (pasompe) who came from various kingdoms. At that time scientific reformation, seen from the cultural heritage they left behind in the form of manuscripts that were widely spread among the community. This research is a field research that will study Malay Arabic and Bugis script with a philological approach, because some of these texts use handwriting with Malay Arabic and Bugis scripts. The researcher carried out an inventory of existing texts described and the researchers transliterated Malay Arabic and Bugis characters into latin script and then translated them into Indonesian. In this study, researchers focused on the study of manuscript classification.The results of this study indicate that West Kalimantan has many manuscripts that are stored on script lovers, the general public, students from the scholars of scriptwriters, descendants of script writers and others. There are 24 manuscripts that the researchers succeeded in, 21 manuscripts with Malay Arabic and Malay languages, four of which are translations of Arabic texts. One manuscript is Bugis and Bugis, and one other manuscript is Malay Arabic but Bugis. One manuscript and Arabic.

Abstract

Effective speaking hinges on confidence and comfort, yet many students grapple with these aspects, often feeling lost and unsure about their abilities. This study investigates the application of Johari Windows to aid first-year English Program students at IAIN Parepare, who commonly encounter challenges in speaking. Our research focuses on two primary questions: How does the Johari Window facilitate students' self-discovery, and how does it contribute to the development of their speaking skills? Adopting a mixed-method approach, this study blends quantitative and qualitative data. We engaged 48 first-year English Program students at IAIN Parepare, utilizing observations, questionnaires, and focus group discussions as our primary data collection tools. Additionally, the data were analyzed using SPSS. Our findings reveal that many students exhibit uncertainty or neutrality in identifying with the characteristics and traits of the 'open self,' highlighting the complexities of self-awareness and the fluid nature of self-perceptions, which vary among individuals. The study also notes differing self-views across various characteristics. Crucially, implementing the Johari Window in speaking skill development, particularly in forum discussion groups, has significantly bolstered students' awareness of their public speaking strengths and weaknesses. This enhanced awareness has been instrumental in their journey toward becoming more confident and effective speakers.

Abstract

This research is an event study research, where the researcher wants to see the content of information after the announcement of the Covid 19 case. The researcher uses a quantitative descriptive method with non-parametric analysis, using the Wilcoxon test to see the effect of performance with abnormal returns and trading activity before and after the announcement of an event. incident. Researchers used an observation period of 3 days before the announcement and 3 days after the announcement of Covid 19 by the President of the Republic of Indonesia. Hypothesis testing shows that the Z value of -2,469 with Asymp Sig (2-tailed) of 0.014 is smaller than 0.05, proving that there is a difference in abnormal returns before the announcement and after the announcement of the event, but on the contrary, testing trading activities before and after the announcement. shows a Z value of -1.838 with Asymp Sig (2-tailed) of 0.066, higher than the value of 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is no difference in the increase or decrease in stock trading volume activity significantly before and after the announcement of Covid-19.   Keyword: Abnormal Return; Trading Volume Activity; Index LQ 45; Coronavirus.

Abstract

This study examines the determinants of financial statement integrity using variables of institutional ownership, managerial ownership, independent commissioners, leverage, company size, and audit committee mediated by profit management variables. The population used in this study is all state-owned companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with sampling techniques using purposive sampling methods based on certain criteria. Testing the research data using a panel regression model using the GEE Population-Averaged Model approach. The purpose of this study is to examine the direct influence using variables of institutional ownership, managerial ownership, independent commissioners, leverage, company size, and audit committee as well as indirect influence on financial statement integrity variables through profit management. The results of this study show that there is no influence of institutional ownership variables, independent commissioners, leverage, company size, and audit committee on financial statement integrity, there is an influence of managerial ownership on financial statement integrity, and profit management is proven as mediation on financial statement integrity only for managerial ownership variables.
