Abstract

Teachers in Enrekang are known to be very active in following the development of education, especially those relatedto teacher professional development. Several activities in the past five years have been included, including carrying out FocusGroup Discussion (FGD) which discusses the problems faced by teachers in the field, education and training activities,workshops, seminars, and a number of other scientific gatherings. These activities have a positive impact on improving teacherprofessional competence. However, in certain cases, they still experience a number of problems that demand to be resolvedimmediately, including learning based on information and communication technology, including learning based on Googleclassroom. Google classroom (GC) is known as one of the efficient and effective learning media in increasing student learningactivities and outcomes. Thanks to this, secondary school teachers in Enrekang Regency have not used it due to limitedknowledge and skills. To overcome the problems faced by partners, Google classroom-based learning design training wasconducted using workshops, discussion and question and answer methods, and independent assignments. The results of thisactivity can improve the ability of participants (secondary school teachers) in terms of applying Google classroom basedlearning.

Abstract

A house garden is potential to be managed for thecultivation of vegetables for the fulfillment of nutrition and arelative reduction in the cost of living of poor families. Thecondition of the land and the limited knowledge and life skillsof the poor in the Maritengngae District, Sidrap Regency,became the main limiting factor for the use of the garden forcultivation. The Community Service-Learning and CommunityEmpowerment activity program (KKN = PPM) of UNMorganized program for target families to provide knowledgeand skills in the manufacture of organic fertilizers andcultivation of hydroponic systems. The goal was achieved byusing training methods, demonstration plots and mentoring.The activities that were realized included: a) increasedknowledge and skills of target residents in making organicfertilizer from household waste, and vegetable cultivation ofhydroponic systems; and b) fulfillment of the need for severaltypes of vegetables through utilization of the garden forcultivation. If this activity is sustainable and well developed,then the needs for the vegetable foodstuffs of the targetresidents will be fulfilled independently.

Abstract

Abstrak. Pada era pengetahuan abad XXI diperlukan sumber daya manusia memiliki keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau higher order thinking skills (HOTS sehingga diperlukan proses penilaian menggunakan soal-soal HOTS. Pada umumnya guru SMP di Kabupaten Gowa telah mengenal berbagai jenis dan bentuk soal-soal akan tetapi alat ukur berupa soal-soal HOTS belum maksimal. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, perlu dilakukan pelatihan perakitan soal-soal HOTS. Secara umum permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru IPA Kabupaten Gowa adalah guru belum maksimal mengembangkan soal-soal HOTS. Penyelesaian permasalahan yang dialami oleh mitra dilakukan melalui dua pendekatan yakni pertama pendekatan klasikal dalam bentuk pemberian teori dan pelatihan kepada para guru sedangkan pendekatan individual dalam bentuk terbimbing. Metode yang digunakan adalah, metode ceramah, tanya jawab/diskusi, metode demonstrasi. Hasil kegiatan menyimpulkan bahwa (1) peserta pelatihan memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengidentifikasi stimulus yang dapat dimasukkan pada soal-soal  dan (2) peserta pelatihan memiliki kompetensi dalam menyusun soal-soal HOTS. Dari hasil kegiatan ini, disarankan (1) untuk  menjamin keberlanjutan program maka dilakukan melalui  pendampingan secara berkala, (2) diharapkan menjadi bahan penilaian kinerja bagi guru dalam penyusunan soal-soal penilaian tengah atau akhir semester, dan (3) diharapkan kepada guru-guru yang tergabung dalam MGMP dapat menerapkan hasil penyusunan soal-soal HOTS yang dibuat dalam penilaian pembelajaran. Kata-kata kunci: soal-soal penilaian, keterampilan berpikir, keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi
