Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the flipped classroom-based SAVI learning model on children's problem-solving skills. This research is a type of meta-analysis research. The eligibility criteria in this study are: a) the research must be published in 2022-2024; b) this research was obtained through the Google Scholar database; Mendeley; ScienceDirect; and Wiley; c) the research must be relevant; d) the research must have complete data to calculate the effect size value; and the sample size > 30 participants. The data in this meta-analysis is analyzed with the help of JASP and Microsoft Excel applications. The results of the analysis of 19 effect sizes concluded that the summary effect size value ( d = 1.077 ; z = 8.172 ; p < 0.001) of the effect size category was strong. These findings show that the application of the effectiveness model of the flipped classroom-based SAVI learning model has a positive influence on children's problem-solving skills

Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of Zam-zam water trade in Padangsidimpuan City, while the Saudi Arabian government prohibited the export of Zam-zam water. This causes people to suspect that the quality of Zam-zam water circulating in the market is not the same as the Zam-zam water found in Mecca. Therefore, research needs to be carried out to answer these concerns. This research aims to analyze the mineral content of labeled packaged Zam-zam water circulating in Padangsidimpuan City compared with Zam-zam water brought from Mecca City. The mineral concentrations tested were sodium and chloride. This research uses laboratory experimental methods, including quantitative analysis. According to the type of research, the data analysis technique used is to compare the concentration of each mineral in the water labeled Zam-zam with the mineral concentration in the Zam-zam water used as a control. The research results showed that Zam-zam water obtained from Mecca City contained 42.4 mg/L chloride, 2.06 mg/L sodium, while the labeled Zam-zam water circulating in Padangsidimpuan, namely sample 1, contained 160.7 mg/L chloride. sodium 2.06 mg/L in sample 2 contains 50.5 mg/L chloride, sodium 2.17 mg/L. The three Zam-Zam samples circulating in Padangsidimpuan that have been tested show that the quality of Zam-Zam water is suitable for consumption based on determining a good water quality test, namely at the suitability threshold.

Abstract

Thesis of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Tangerang 2023. This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative script model on the descriptive essay writing skills of fifth grade students at SDN Joglo 09 West Jakarta. This research is a type of experimental research in the form of a quasi-experimental. The variables of this study consisted of the independent variables of the cooperative script model and the dependent variable, namely descriptive essay writing skills. The population in this study was the fifth grade students at SDN Joglo 09 West Jakarta, totaling 64 students consisting of 32 VA class students as the control class and 32 VB class students as the experimental class. Learning the skills of writing descriptive essays using the cooperative script model is better than the conventional learning model

Abstract

Abstract  Notary protocol is a collection of documents that constitute state archives that must be properly stored and maintained by the notary in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations. The obligation to keep the Notary protocol is to safeguard the authenticity of a deed by keeping the deed in its original form. Force majeure can pose challenges to the notary's ability to fulfil their obligations which may lead to the destruction or damage of deed minutes. Force majeure can be in the form of fire. This research examines the legal framework governing the obligations and responsibilities of notaries with respect to deed minutes within the notary protocol and investigates the legal accountability of notaries for deed minutes destroyed by fire, a force majeure event. This study employed a normative legal approach which involved literature reviews on Notary Protocols and Archives, utilising a statutory approach. The approaches adopted in this research are statutory approach and conceptual approach. Data collection techniques involved interviews and literature studies. Primary data were gathered through interviews, while secondary data were derived from various sources such as literature, books, and relevant laws and regulations. The research findings indicate that if the Notarial Deed Minutes were destroyed due to force majeure circumstances such as a fire, the notary could not be held legally accountable in civil, criminal, and administrative aspects as it did not fulfil the elements of fault and negligence on the part of the notary, and the destruction fell outside the notary's control. This study also highlights the need for formal legal regulations governing Notary Protocols in force majeure situations and clear and systematic Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to address storing Notary protocols to guarantee legal certainty for notaries and all parties involved.AbstrakProtokol Notaris adalah kumpulan dokumen yang merupakan arsip negara yang harus disimpan dan dipelihara oleh Notaris sesuai dengan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan. Kewajiban dalam menyimpan protokol Notaris untuk menjaga keauntetikan suatu akta dengan menyimpan akta dalam bentuk aslinya. Dalam keadaan memaksa dapat membuat Notaris tidak dapat menjalankan kewajiban tertentu yang mengakibatkan minuta akta Notaris itu musnah atau rusak. Keadaan memaksa dapat berupa kebakaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk Menganalisis pengaturan kewajiban dan tanggung jawab Notaris terhadap minuta akta sebagai bagian dari protokol Notaris dan menganalisis pertanggungjawaban hukum Notaris terhadap minuta akta dalam protokol Notaris yang musnah akibat kebakaran sebagai keadaan memaksa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian hukum normatif yang dilakukan dengan cara meneliti bahan pustaka tentang Protokol Notaris dan Kearsipan, dengan menggunakan pendekatan perundang-undangan (statute approach) Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan undang-undang dan pendekatan konsep. Teknik Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara dan studi pustaka. Data primer bersumber dari wawancara, dan data sekunder bersumber dari literatur, buku-buku, maupun undang-undang. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa apabila Minuta Akta musnah disebabkan keadaan memaksa (force majeure) seperti kebakaran, maka Notaris tidak dapat dimintai pertanggungjawaban hukum secara perdata, pidana dan administratif karena tidak memenuhi unsur kesalahan dan kelalaian Notaris didalamnya dan ini terjadi di luar kuasanya. Saran yang diberikan penulis adalah diperlukannya aturan hukum yang mengatur terkait protokol Notaris dalam keadaan memaksa dan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) yang jelas serta sistematis untuk tata cara penyimpanan protokol Notaris agar menjadi jaminan kepastian hukum bagi Notaris dan Para Pihak.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the ability to know the numbers determine the increase through media flannel tree count in children aged 4-5 years.This study is a class action, in which each cycle consists of four steps: planning, execution, observation and evaluation. Research subjects in this study were students in group A in the ABA TK Tempuran Magelang totaling 19 children. Variables used include input variables (ability to know the number is low), the process variables (learning to use the media tree count flannel) and output variables (the ability to know a high number). Data collection methods used in this research is the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The research instrument used was the observation sheet and interview guides. Data analysis techniques used in this action research is descriptive quantitative data analysis techniques.The research proves that the media tree flannel count numbers can improve cognitive ability in children aged 4-5 years Tempuran ABA TK. Results of preliminary observations note that the average achievement of the ability to know the number of new subjects stood at 62.4%, still far from the target to be achieved is 75%. After learning activities using the media tree flannel count in the first cycle, the average achievement of the ability to know the subject number increased to 85.2%.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian dilakukan bertujuan untuk memvalidasi metode penentuan kadar kalsium pada bungkil kedelai menggunakan Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) sesuai ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Kalsium merupakan mineral essensial bagi makhluk hidup. Analisis kandungan kalsium dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan AAS. Metode pengujian AAS pada bungkil kedelai belum memiliki metode baku penerapannya, sehingga perlu validasi metode. Metode Validasi metode meliputi pengujian linearitas, sensitivitas, presisi, dan akurasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan linearitas yang sangat baik pada rentang 0–6 mg/L dengan nilai r² sebesar 0,9962, dengan nilai LOD dan LOQ masing-masing 0,08 mg/L dan 0,28 mg/L. Nilai RSD presisi berada di bawah batas 2/3 RSD Horwitz, dan recovery mencapai 98,68%. Metode ini dinyatakan valid dan layak untuk analisis rutin kalsium pada bungkil kedelai.ABSTRACT. This study was conducted to validate a method for the determination of calcium content in soybean meal using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Calcium is an essential mineral for living organisms. The analysis of calcium content can be performed using AAS. However, the application of the AAS method for soybean meal has not yet been standardized; therefore, method validation is required. The method validation parameters included linearity, sensitivity, precision, and accuracy. The results showed excellent linearity over the concentration range of 0–6 mg/L, with a coefficient of determination (r²) of 0.9962. The limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) were 0.08 mg/L and 0.28 mg/L, respectively. The relative standard deviation (RSD) for precision was below the 2/3 Horwitz RSD limit, and the recovery value reached 98.68%. Therefore, the method was considered valid and suitable for the routine analysis of calcium in soybean meal.

Abstract

This research analyses the portrayal of masculine qualities in female characters in Kevin Kwan's novel Crazy Rich Asians. Masculinity and femininity are socially constructed gender identities often associated exclusively with men and women respectively. However, scholars argue that masculinity does not belong solely to men and can be produced by women as well. While previous studies have examined gender representation in literature, limited attention has been given to how contemporary Asian popular fiction portrays female masculinity within the cultural tension between traditional Asian values and modern individualism. This study addresses that gap. Using Peter Lehman's masculinity theory as an analytical framework—identifying power, leadership, courage, and heroism—this research examines four female characters. The findings demonstrate that all four masculine qualities are present. Power is portrayed through Rachel Chu's ability to influence others and Eleanor Young's social dominance. Leadership is demonstrated by Eleanor Young's confident command. Courage is exhibited by Kerry Chu's defiance of societal expectations and Astrid Leong's bravery in confronting infidelity. Heroism is shown through Astrid Leong's concern for others and a maid who risked her livelihood to expose a harmful plot. This research demonstrates that masculine qualities are not biologically determined but socially constructed, challenging rigid gender stereotypes and redefining female identity as capable of integrating both feminine and masculine traits.

Abstract

Village governments play an important role in community development and empowerment. Villages are strategically positioned as the spearhead of government administration that is in direct contact with the community. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis refers to Soerjono Soekanto's role theory, which views the village government as a facilitator, educator, motivator, and catalyst, as well as Edi Suharto's empowerment theory, which is used to assess how villages raise awareness, capabilities, and independence in the community, and Deddy Mulyana's group theory, which emphasizes collective interaction in achieving common goals. The results of the study show: (1) as a facilitator, the village government provides seeds, fertilizers, training, and infrastructure, although in limited quantities; (2) as an educator, the village organizes coffee cultivation extension and training, but not yet on a regular basis; (3) as a motivator, the village fosters enthusiasm, collective awareness, and encourages youth involvement; and (4) as a catalyst, the village facilitates partnerships, opens up marketing access, and encourages product innovation. These roles have succeeded in increasing farmer capacity, production quality, and local economic independence, although there are still obstacles in terms of limited facilities, technology, and marketing networks.

Abstract

Recent studies have shown that women's language features (WLF) increasingly function as rhetorical strategies in professional discourse rather than mere gender markers, yet research in globally mediated speaking contexts such as TED Talks remains limited. This study aims to examine the types of WLF used in Jennifer Parlamis' TED Talk entitled "Why Venting Doesn't Help You with Anger" and to analyze their pragmatic and rhetorical functions in professional public speaking. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data analyzed using Lakoff's (1975) framework, further interpreted through Holmes (1995) and Coates (2015). The findings reveal that emphatic stress emerged as the dominant feature, functioning to reinforce key messages and strengthen persuasive impact, while lexical hedges served to maintain an approachable conversational tone rather than signal uncertainty. Overall, WLF in this talk operates not as markers of gendered communication, but as intentional rhetorical strategies that enhance clarity, credibility, and emotional engagement with a global audience.

Abstract

The garment industry is a major contributor to Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product, yet it faces critical challenges regarding high work pressure and worker abuse. This study employed a sequential mixed-methods approach to investigate the relationship between Leader-Member Exchange (LMX), job stress, and the performance of female garment workers. Quantitative findings indicate that LMX is positively correlated with and significantly drives performance improvements. Conversely, job stress showed no significant correlation with performance, and LMX was not associated with job stress levels. Complementing these findings, in-depth interviews with three participants revealed harsh verbal disciplinary practices in the workplace. These qualitative accounts highlight the complex interplay between severe disciplinary measures and the psychological well-being of female workers. Consequently, the study emphasizes the need for a more empathetic, holistic management approach to enhance both worker performance and psychological well-being in the garment sector.
