Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan Pengabdian masyarakat Kolaborasi Indonesia (PMKI) USU 2025 sebagai co-host dengan host Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) ini dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Al Kautsar Al Akbar, Medan, dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan santri dalam mengolah sampah organik menjadi ekoenzim sebagai produk ramah lingkungan yang bermanfaat. Metode yang digunakan adalah Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) melalui tahapan discovery, dream, design, define, dan destiny. Pelaksanaan meliputi Sosialisasi, Pelatihan pembuatan ekoenzim, pembuatan desinfektan berbahan ekoenzim, serta implementasinya pada kegiatan berkebun. Sebanyak 40 santri (15 putra dan 25 putri, rentang usia 14-17 Tahun, santri dari kelas 1, 2, 3 SMA) yang mengikuti kegiatan,  diawali dengan pre-test dan diakhiri dengan post-test. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman signifikan, dengan rata-rata nilai pre-test 65,25 dan post-test 93,5. Sebanyak 95% peserta menyatakan kegiatan sangat menarik, 93% menyatakan bermanfaat, dan 89% menyatakan pemahamannya meningkat. Kegiatan ini berhasil membekali santri dengan keterampilan pengolahan sampah organik menjadi produk bernilai guna dalam bentuk eko enzim yang mendukung pertanian ramah lingkungan dan mitigasi masalah ketahanan pangan di lingkungan pesantren. Kata kunci: ekoenzim; pengolahan sampah organik; pertanian ramah lingkungan; pengabdian masyarakat. Abstract The Indonesian Collaboration Community Service (ICCS) of University Sumatera Utara Programme 2025 as co-hosy qith host was University Syiah Kuala (USK) was conducted at Pondok Pesantren Al Kautsar Al Akbar, Medan, aiming to enhance students’ knowledge and skills in processing organic waste into eco-enzyme, an environmentally friendly and beneficial product. The program adopted the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method through five stages: discovery, dream, design, define, and destiny. Activities included awareness sessions, eco-enzyme production training, eco-enzyme-based disinfectant preparation, and its application in gardening activities. A total of 40 students (15 males and 25 females, age rates was 14-17 years old, consit of 1, 2, 3 SMA students),  starting with a pre-test and ending with a post-test. Evaluation results indicated a significant improvement in understanding, with average pre-test and post-test scores of 65.25 and 93.5, respectively. Furthermore, 95% of participants stated the program was very interesting, 93% found it beneficial, and 89% reported increased comprehension. This program successfully equipped students with skills in organic waste processing into value-added products, while supporting environmentally friendly agriculture and contributing to food security resilience in the pesantren environment. Keywords: eco-enzyme; organic waste processing; community service; environmentally friendly agriculture.

Abstract

This study aims to examine three major Sufi figures in the Islamic Sufi tradition, namely Ibn Arabi, Al-Hallaj, and Sheikh Siti Jenar, and the views of mu'tabar (trusted) scholars on their teachings and thoughts. This research uses a library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach. This method aims to explore in-depth the views of key figures relevant to the research topic—the views of scholars on three controversial Sufi figures: Ibn Arobi, Al-Hallaj, and Sheikh Siti Jenar. These three figures have had a significant influence on the development of Islamic mysticism, although their teachings are often seen as controversial. Ibn Arabi, with the concept of wahdat al-wujud (unity of existence), taught that everything in the universe is a manifestation of God, which can only be understood through inner search and spiritual awareness. His teachings on the unity of God and creation made a major contribution to Sufi thought, although it has been criticized by some circles because it is considered to have theological consequences that contradict mainstream Islamic teachings.

Abstract

In conducting da'wah, whether under the direction of another body or independently, education or training for Da'i is very important. As a conveyor of da'wah to the target group, da'i are obliged to carry out their duties professionally. Therefore, based on these arguments, it is important to obtain qualified or professional Da'i. This means that da'wah cannot just happen, it is not a simple act. Thorough planning is required before conducting da'wah, including placing people according to their respective fields of expertise. It is important for a Da'i to have the necessary skills to carry out their duties in the field of Da'wah. The results of this study emphasize the relevance of effective Da'wah competencies and Da'wah to the success of Da'wah organizations. This includes the ability to lead organizations effectively because they have technical, human, and conceptual skills, as well as the ability to apply and expand their mindset in Sharia administration

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji peran penting Teungku Dayah dalam pengembangan masyarakat Islam di Aceh. Teungku Dayah bukan hanya sebagai guru agama, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai pemimpin masyarakat, agen pembangunan, dan penjaga tradisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan dan menganalisis berbagai peran yang dimainkan oleh Teungku Dayah dalam pengembangan masyarakat Islam di Aceh. Kajian ini merupakan kajian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi kepustakaan. Hasil kajian ditemukan bahwa Teungku Dayah memberikan kontribusi besar dalam pengembangan masyarakat melalui beberapa cara. Pertama, mereka berperan sebagai pendidik yang membimbing peserta didiknya dalam memahami dan mengamalkan ajaran Islam. Kedua, mereka berfungsi sebagai agen pembangunan yang berupaya meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat melalui pendidikan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Ketiga, mereka melestarikan pendidikan tradisional yang masih menganut sistem pengajaran klasik, sekaligus menanamkan nilai-nilai yang sesuai dengan syariat Islam. Terakhir, mereka membantu dalam pengembangan kepribadian masyarakat Aceh, membentuk masyarakat yang bermartabat dan berperadaban.

Abstract

The Islamization of the science movement arose due to Muslim intellectual concerns about the scientific crisis experienced by Muslims because it was contaminated with secular-based Western science and was incompatible with Muslims because it separated religion from science. The purpose of this study is to raise the idea of Islamization of science by Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas and the response of several Indonesian Muslim intellectuals to the idea of science. By looking at the characters' essays and descriptive-analytical-critical methods, the researchers found that al-Attas offered the concept of Islamization of science and the concept of Islamic education. Meanwhile, Indonesian Muslim intellectuals offer the concept of the Islamization of science in the integration-interconnectivity of knowledge. The concept of integration of knowledge precedes or surpasses the Islamization movement of Naquib al-Attas because this movement was motivated by the Islamic renewal movement that was born at the end of the 19th century, long before the Islamization of science was born in the 20th century.

Abstract

Perkembangan hukum di Indonesia berupaya mengatur perilaku masyarakat sesuai dengan norma hukum. Namun, dalam praktiknya, terjadi fenomena tindakan main hakim sendiri (eigenrichting) akibat ketidakpuasan terhadap penegakan hukum yang dianggap tidak adil. Tindakan ini, seperti pengeroyokan, semakin umum terjadi, mencerminkan ketidakpercayaan masyarakat terhadap sistem hukum formal. Kasus pengeroyokan di Lhokseumawe menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat lebih memilih kekuatan fisik untuk menyelesaikan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan penegakan hukum pidana terhadap pelaku tindak pidana main hakim sendiri dan Untuk mengetahui hambatan dan upaya yang dilakukan oleh penegak hukum dalam menanggulangi terjadinya tindakan main hakim sendiri di Desa Blang Pulo, Kecamatan Muara Satu, Kota Lhokseumawe. Metode penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan yuridis empiris. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penelitian lapangan dengan teknik wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fenomena tindakan main hakim sendiri di Desa Blang Pulo, Kecamatan Muara Satu, Kota Lhokseumawe, disebabkan oleh ketidakpercayaan masyarakat terhadap penegakan hukum yang dianggap lambat dan tidak adil, serta kurangnya pemahaman hukum. Hal ini mengakibatkan masyarakat memilih menyelesaikan masalah secara langsung. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, perlu peningkatan profesionalisme dan integritas aparat penegak hukum, serta program edukasi hukum berkelanjutan. Pemerintah disarankan untuk menginisiasi kebijakan sosialisasi guna meningkatkan kesadaran hukum masyarakat, agar penegakan hukum lebih efektif sesuai dengan Undang-Undang No. 48 Tahun 2009 tentang Kekuasaan Kehakiman.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi pada era society berdampak sangat besar terhadap ruang pembelajaran tengku dayah. Adanya transformasi ini merupakan indikasi keberterimaan tengku terhadap kemajuan teknologi yang selama ini ditentang. Tulisan ini mendeskripsikan peran tengku dayah salafiah dalam merespons digitalisasi pembelajaran di era society. Kesarjanaan tentang Aceh kontemporer memperlihatkan besarnya peran tengku dayah terhadap pendidikan di Aceh. Tetapi sejauh ini, studi yang membahas tema tersebut belum memberi perhatian yang memadai tentang peran tengku yang dihubungkan dengan era society 5.0 menggunakan teori Anthony Giddent. Berdasarkan data kualitatif yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan teungku, observasi dan dokumentasi, tulisan ini mengajukan argumen bahwa perubahan pola semeubeut yang dilakukan tengku dayah di Aceh merupakan sebuah kesadaran modernisasi yang dimiliki tenngku dalam merespon kebutuhan di masa yang akan datang demi mempertahankan eksistensi dayah. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa kesadaran yang dibentuk teungku dayah beroperasi dalam tiga kesadaran yang saling berkoneksi  satu  sama  lain,  yaitu;  kesadaran  diskursif  (discursive consciousness), kesadaran praktis (practical consciousness) serta motivasi tindakan.

Abstract

The habit of temper tantrums carried out by children aged 2 to 6 years is an attitude that must be controlled well by parents, so that children can grow and develop emotionally well. Certain strategies are needed to overcome the child's temper tantrum habits. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of parenting style in dealing with temper tantrum behavior in early childhood and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of parenting parents in overcoming temper tantrum behavior in early childhood in Kecamatan Langsa Baro. This research uses a qualitative approach. The subjects (respondents) of the study consisted of three villages in Kecamatan Langsa Baroe, namely Geudubang Jawa, Geudubang Aceh and Paya Bujok Tunong. The research subjects are children with temper tantrum behavior, parents and community experts (psychologists). Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique is used to interpret the results of the study which consists of: data reduction, data presentation, and inference. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The form of parenting style in dealing with temper tantrum behavior in early childhood in Langsa BarÔ District is the tendency of parenting parents to overcome temper tantrum behavior such as authoritarian, permissive, and democratic. The supporting factors for parenting parents in overcoming temper tantrum behavior in early childhood in Langsa BarÔ District are: a) Parents' self-efficacy. b) Parents' social support. c) The role of the community of experts (psychologists). While the inhibiting factors include: a) Parents' mistakes because they always comply with the wishes of the child, b) Parents are too authoritarian towards children, c) The inability of children to express their expressions, d) Busy parents so that they pay less attention to children. The conclusion is that there are three strategies used by parents in dealing with children who have a temper tantrum, namely, first, using an authoritarian strategy where the child is forced to follow the wishes of the parents, Second, a permissive strategy, namely the child is given freedom to carry out his wishes, although sometimes the parents also help the child to fulfill their desires, and thirdly, a democratic strategy, where parents give children the freedom to fulfill their desires but under the control of the parents.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tesis ini mengkaji Penerapan Model Contextual Teaching Learning dalam Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Makmur. Dalam pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual, peran guru tidak lagi sebagai otoritas tunggal, melainkan sebagai pendamping yang mendengarkan peserta didiknya. Guru bukan satu-satunya penentu kemajuan peserta didik, melainkan pendamping dalam mencapai kompetensi dasar. Penelitian ini merumuskan tiga masalah utama: penerapan model tersebut, kendala yang dihadapi guru, dan upaya guru mengatasi kendala tersebut. Penerapan model pembelajaran mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian. Kendala yang dihadapi guru termasuk kesulitan siswa memahami materi PAI dan keterbatasan sarana/prasarana. Upaya guru untuk mengatasi kendala melibatkan melaporkan ke kepala sekolah agar menyediakan LCD proyektor, mengelompokkan siswa secara heterogen, memberikan bimbingan dalam diskusi, memberikan umpan balik intensif, dan mengoptimalkan waktu pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian mencakup pemahaman penerapan model pembelajaran, identifikasi kendala guru, dan pemahaman upaya guru mengatasi kendala dalam Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Makmur. Metode penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif deskriptif, menggunakan analisis data model Miles dan Huberman, termasuk reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. ABTRACT learning, the teacher's role shifts from being the ultimate authority to a listener who values students' input. Teachers no longer singularly dictate students' progress but serve as companions in achieving basic competencies. The study formulates three main problems: the model's implementation, obstacles faced by teachers, and teachers' efforts to overcome these obstacles. The research aims to understand the application of the model, identify teacher obstacles, and comprehend teachers' efforts in Class VIII Islamic Religious Education at SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Makmur. This qualitative descriptive research employs the Miles and Huberman model, involving data reduction, presentation, verification, and conclusions. Findings include the multi-stage implementation of the model, obstacles such as varying student abilities and inadequate facilities, and teacher efforts, such as reporting for an LCD projector, heterogeneous student grouping, comprehensive guidance, and increased feedback to optimize learning time.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Meubobo alang tradition is a form of intangible cultural heritage that is still preserved by the Kluet community in South Aceh. This ritual is an important part of the Sunat rasul (Prophetic Circumcision) procession. In this ritual, the boy to be circumcised is paraded using an alang (a sedan chair or litter adorned with traditional ornaments), accompanied by prayers and various symbols of respect. This study was aimed to be uncovered the cultural meaning, historical background, and social function of the Meubobo alang tradition within the life structure of the Kluet community. Using a qualitative approach with an ethnographic method, data was collected through direct field observation, in-depth interviews with customary figures and families who practice the tradition, as well as the review of cultural documents. The research findings indicate that Meubobo alang does not only serve as a series of ceremonial activities but also contains spiritual, symbolic, and social values deeply rooted in the local culture. This tradition plays a role in maintaining harmonious family relations, reinforcing ethnic identity, and serving as a medium for transmitting moral values and character to the younger generation. Amidst the current of change and the influence of modernization, Meubobo alang maintains an important position as a form of local wisdom preservation that unites customary values with the principles of Islamic teachings. Thus, this tradition not only reflects cultural continuity but also demonstrates the Kluet community’s ability to preserve their identity and ancestral values.
