Abstract

Kulit luar buah cempedak memiliki kandungan flavonoid yang dapat mengatasi jerawat. Salah satu metode pengobatan jerawat yaitu dengan menggunakan patch untuk mengobati jerawat yang dapat meningkatkan kepatuhan pemakaian. Patch dibuat dengan variasi konsenterasi polimer Hidroxy Propyl Methyl Celluolosa (HPMC) dan Polivinil Pirolidon (PVP). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui formulasi yang optimal serta pengaruh Hidroxy Propyl Methyl Celluolosa (HPMC) dan Polivinil Pirolidon (PVP) terhadap patch ekstrak etanol kulit luar buah cempedak (Artocarpus integer (Thunb.) Merr). Evaluasi sifat fisik yang dilakukan meliputi uji organoleptis, uji keseragaman bobot, uji ketebalan, uji ketahanan lipatan, dan uji keleambaban. Hasil evaluasi sifat fisik uji organoleptis, uji keseragaman bobot, uji ketebalan, uji ketahanan lipatan, dan uji kelembaban patch pada F1, F2, dan F3 memenuhi persyaratan. Analisis data dengan One Way ANOVA dari uji keseragaman bobot, uji ketebalan, dan uji kelembaban didapatkan nilai signifikansi p < 0,05, sehingga terdapat pengaruh variasi konsenterasi polimer Hidroxy Propyl Methyl Celluolosa (HPMC) dan Polivinil Pirolidon (PVP). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut formulasi yang optimal terdapat pada F1 dengan perbandingan konsenterasi polimer Hidroxy Propyl Methyl Celluolosa (HPMC) dan Polivinil Pirolidon (PVP) (20:40) yang dilihat berdasarkan parameter uji sifat fisik antar formula lainnya. Hal ini menunjukkan variasi konsenterasi polimer HPMC dan PVP memiliki pengaruh terhadap uji sifat fisik patch.

Abstract

Radikal bebas merupakan salah satu penyebab penuaan dini. Radikal bebas dapat dicegah dengan antioksidan. Ekstrak daun taya (Nauclea subdita) memilki kandungan antioksidan yang kuat. Dalam memudahkan penggunaannya maka perlu dikembangkan sediaan farmasi. Krim merupakan sediaan setengah padat mengandung satu atau lebih bahan obat terlarut dalam bahan dasar yang sesuai. Nanopartikel adalah suatu perkembangan dari nanoteknologi memiliki ukuran 10-1000 nm. Pembuatan sediaan krim diperlukan adanya emulgator dan agent pengental. Kombinasi setil alkohol dan tween 80 dapat meningkatkan stabilitas fisik sediaan krim. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui formulasi yang paling optimal dari sediaan krim nanopartikel serta mengetahui adanya pengaruh variasi setil alkohol dan tween 80 terhadap evaluasi fisik sediaan krim nanopartikel. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental dengan desain quasy experiment design. Simplisia dibuat menjadi ekstrak kemudian dibuat sediaan krim nanopartikel dan dilanjutkan dengan evaluasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan one way anova. Ukuran partikel ekstrak daun taya sebesar 303,5 nm. Hasil evaluasi sediaan krim nanopartikel ekstrak daun taya dengan variasi setil akohol dan tween 80 memenuhi syarat uji evaluasi krim. Dari hasil evaluasi didapatkan formula yang paling optimal untuk sediaan krim nanopartikel adalah formula III (setil alkohol 7 gram dan tween 80 4 gram). Variasi setil alkohol dan tween 80 memiliki pengaruh terhadap uji organoleptis, pH, viskositas, daya sebar, dan daya lekat.

Abstract

Academic guidance is one of the success factors for students in completing their studies well and on time. The aim of this research is to find out what problems are faced by the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten regarding academic supervision, as well as to synthesize solutions to reinstate the role of academic supervisors. This research uses qualitative research methods, field research. The data collection methods used are interview and documentation methods. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman analysis model. The results of the research show that the problems faced by Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten are students who are less active, lack of communication between academic supervisors and students, lecturers who are difficult to find, not yet well programmed, lack of student initiative in raising problems and lecturer initiative in asking about developments. student. The solution offered in this research is to create and update academic guidance, socialization and digital platform guides.

Abstract

The waste problem is an increasingly pressing issue in various regions, including in villages. Citapen Village is one of the villages in Japara District, Kuningan Regency, West Java, which is still facing environmental health problems. Citapen Village is faced with an increasingly worrying waste problem. This is due to the lack of public understanding regarding the importance of waste management. To overcome this, the Real Work Lecture (KKN) Students of the Muhammadiyah University of Kuningan held a Zero Waste program. This program was implemented on July 30, 2024 at Citapen Elementary School. In its implementation, students used the Socialization method in the room by introducing the concept of the 5R movement consisting of Refuse (refuse), Reduce (reduce), Reuse (reuse), Recycle (recycle) and Rotting (rot). This activity was attended by all students and homeroom teachers of grade 4 of Citapen Elementary School. The results obtained through this activity were that students could understand and know how to implement a zero waste lifestyle.

Abstract

Pengasuhan adalah faktor yang tidak dapat dilepaskan dari perkembangan dan kehidupan anak-anak. Pengasuhan mencakup berbagai sikap dan perilaku orangtua terhadap anak, namun seringkali konsep dan pengukurannya hanya digambarkan menggunakan konsep pola asuhyang biasanya menggunakan konsep pola asuh dari Baumrind yang melibatkan dua unsur penting dalam pengasuhan yaitu dimensi kendali (control) dan kehangatan (warmth). Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis metode pengukuran dan penilaian dalam pengasuhan dan juga metode pengasuhan menurut ragam sosial budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yaitu mendeskripsikan dan menguraikan tentang metode pengukuran dan penilaian pengasuhan serta pengasuhan menurut ragam sosial budaya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan (Library Research) dimana studi kepustakaan adalah kegiatan mengumpulkan bahan-bahan yang berkaitan dengan penelitian yang berasal dari buku, jurnal-jurnal ilmiah, literatur-literatur dan publikasi-publikasi lain yang layak dijadikan sumber untuk penelitian yang akan diteliti penulis, dengan cara mendeskripsikan dan menguraikan data tersebut melalui beberapa pendapat para ahli.

Abstract

Background: Excessive exposure to sunlight can cause damage to the skin and accelerate the aging process. Therefore, the use of natural antioxidants from plants, such as pegaganleaves, in the form of a gel, can be a solution to protect the skin from damage caused by sun exposure and free radicals. Objective: Understanding the influence of varying concentrations of pegagan leaf extract (Centella asiatica (L.) Urban) on the physical evaluation and antioxidant activity of an anti-aging gel formulation. Methods: This study employed a laboratory experimental method called the one-shot case study. A gel formulation was created with variations in concentrations of pegaganleaf extract as the active ingredient, namely 5%, 10%, and 15%. Results: The influence of variations in concentrations of pegaganleaf extract (Centella asiatica (L.) Urban) on the physical evaluation of the gel, including pH testing, and the antioxidant activity in the gel formulation is highly significant. Conclusion: The research results indicate that variations in the concentration of ethanol extract from pegaganleaves in the anti-aging gel formulation affect the physical evaluation results in terms of pH testing. These variations in the concentration of ethanol extract from pegagan in the anti-aging gel formulation also impact the antioxidant activity results.

Abstract

Background: Hair is a characteristic appearance. Hair and scalp problems can occur due to exposure to sunlight in the form of ultraviolet (UV) rays. Hair conditioner made from natural ingredients which are rich in antioxidants can solve problems and protect hair from sun exposure. Rosella is one of the plants rich in anthocyanins as antioxidants which can stimulate hair growth by relaxing the muscles in the blood vessels in the hair follicles which facilitate a constant supply of blood with nutrients to the hair follicle cells. Objective: Observing and analyzing the effect of roselle flower ethanol extract with a concentration of 5%, 10%, 15% in hair conditioner preparations as sun protection on the evaluation of SPF (Sun Protection Factor) and physicochemical evaluations. Methods: This study used a one shot case study design. Hair conditioners are formulated with different concentrations of the active substance ethanol extract of rosella flowers, namely 5%, 10% and 15%. The evaluation included organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, cream type and in vitro SPF activity test. Data were analyzed using one way ANOVA. Results: The results of the study showed that the variation of the active substance affected the differences in the results of the physical evaluation on the pH and viscosity test, as well as the SPF activity test. Based on the statistical results of one way ANOVA, the results obtained were <0.05, meaning that there was an effect of variations in the concentration of the active substance of the ethanol extract of rosella flowers on testing pH, viscosity and SPF activity on hair conditioner preparations. Conclusion: The results of the activity testing and phsycochemical  Evaluation in rosella flowers extraxt hair conditioner formulation showed significant differences in the results from the effect of variations in the active substance.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Body wash is made by adding antibacterial active ingredients to suppress the growth of microorganisms. Antibacterial metabolite compounds owned by 70% ethanol extract of butterfly pea flowers are saponins, tannins, terpenoids, alkaloids and flavonoids Objective: Knowing the effect of differences in natrosol concentrations of 0.5%, 1% and 1.5% on the stability of body wash formulations of butterfly pea flowers Methods: The research method used is quasy-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design Results: The organoleptical stability of the three stable formulas is consistent and has a purplish-blue color, the characteristic smell of falcon flowers. All three stable formulas are homogeneous. The high stability of foam and viscosity of the three formulas are stable and qualified. The pH stability of all three formulas meets the qualifying range. Conclusion: Variations in natrosol concentration affect the stability test of pH evaluation and have no effect on organoleptis stability tests, homogeneity, foam height, viscosity and emulsion type. The most optimal formulation is formulation II (1%)

Abstract

Background: The skin has a very influential role in protecting the body from the external environment such as physical impact or exposure to free radicals. Skin problems often occur due to exposure to sunlight in the form of ultraviolet (UV) rays. So to maintain healthy skin, you can use sunscreen cream preparations or sun protection. rosella flower (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) contains anthocyanin compounds which are efficacious as antioxidants which have potential as sunscreens thatare able to absorb UV-A and UV-B rays thereby reducing the intensity on the skin.Objective: To observe and analyze the differences in the results of physical evaluation and the SPF value of variations in the concentration of the active substance in sunscreen cream preparations of ethanol extract of rosella flowers (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) as sun protection.Methods: This research is a pre-experimental study with a one-shot case study design. Sunscreen cream is formulated with different active substance concentrations of rosella flower ethanol extract, namely 9%, 10%, 11%. The evaluation included organoleptic tests, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, spreadability, adhesion, emulsion type and in vitro SPF activity test. Data were analyzed using one way ANOVA.Results: The results showed that the variation of the active substance affected the differences in the results of physical evaluation on pH, spreadability, adhesion and viscosity, as well as the SPF activity test. Based on one way ANOVA statistics, the results obtained were <0.05, meaning that there was an effect of variations in the concentration of the active substance of the ethanol extract of rosella flowers. SPF value activity gets (F1)29,12,(F2)29,97(F3)29,97 in the range of 30 SPFConclusion: The results of the physical evaluation and activity testing of the SPF value of the rosella flower ethanol extract sunscreen cream had a significant difference in the results from the influence of variations in the active substance.Keywords: Rosella flower, Sun cream

Abstract

Background: Diabetes mellitus is a non-communicable disease that is included in the group of metabolic diseases with characteristics or symptoms of blood sugar that exceed normal values, which can also be called hyperglycemia. Bitter melon contains saponins and other complex compounds which play a role in lowering blood glucose levels. Explotab is formulated with bitter melon fruit extract to become an FDT preparation. Purpose: To determine the effect of explotab as a disintegrator and the differences in characteristics in the physical properties of the tablets produced in the fast disintegrating tablet formulation of bitter melon fruit extract. Methods: The research used a quasi-experimental method with a one-group posttest only design. Three formulations were made with varying amounts of different explotabs using the direct compression method, then evaluation was carried out with the granule flow time test, granule moisture test, organoleptic test, weight uniformity test, hardness test, friability test, and disintegration time test. The research results were analyzed descriptively and statistically using the One Way ANOVA comparison test. Results: The evaluation results of fast disintegrating bitter melon extract tablet preparations with explotab variations meet the requirements of the FDT preparation evaluation test.
