Abstract

Religious moderation is essential for fostering harmony in pluralistic societies, yet its contestation poses significant challenges in certain communities. This study examines the dynamics of religious moderation in Karangduwur Village, Petanahan, Kebumen, where four religious groups Muhammadiyah, Nahdlatul Ulama (Moderate Islamic Group), Salafi Wahabi, and Salafi Jihadi (Conservative Islamic Group) compete within the domains of worship, education, and social institutions. Using a qualitative research methodology, data were gathered through documentation studies and content analysis to explore the drivers of contestation and their impact on communal harmony. Findings reveal that tensions arise from differing interpretations of religious moderation, ideological divides, and contested religious authority. These factors foster a community dynamic marked more by serawung kalis (together but apart) than serawung nyawiji (together but unified). Influences such as shifting religious authorities, the rise of social media, and improved education levels further amplify these challenges. The study underscores the interplay between these local dynamics and broader issues like democracy and Islamic populism in Indonesia. By highlighting the complexities of religious moderation, this research emphasizes its importance in promoting social harmony and democratic inclusivity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine Nurcholish Madjid's thoughts on the reforms of Islamic education in Indonesia. This paper uses library research method by collecting sources from documents related to the theme of Islamic education reform. The sources are triangulated to determine their credibility and authenticity and then analyzed using content analysis. The results of the research found that Nurcholish Madjid proposed several important renewal ideas that can be applied to Islamic education in Indonesia, including modernization and secularization. Modernization in Islamic education can be applied in terms of the materials delivered and the education system while secularization in Islamic education can be promoted to give the right to think freely for every learner as a human being who has freedom of thought.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of inclusive education policies at SMK Tujuh Lima 1 Purwokerto as a solution to reduce anomie behavior among students and enhance their emotional well-being. Anomie, characterized by norm uncertainty and deviant behavior, can be caused by various factors such as family, community, and school environments. By implementing inclusive education that emphasizes equality and acceptance, schools can create a learning environment that supports all students, regardless of their background. Religious education programs, social and emotional learning development, and counseling services are some of the approaches implemented to address anomie and improve student well-being. Research findings indicate that inclusive policies have successfully reduced anomie behavior and increased student engagement with the school, creating a more positive learning atmosphere.

Abstract

The study on integrating shadow puppet art in the Islamic cultural landscape in Banyumas, Central Java, Indonesia, highlights the role of Ki Ratmiko Siswo Carito in cultural preservation and religious education. This paper aims to analyze how Ki Ratmiko Siswo Carito shaped Islamic culture through wayang art based on holistic, integrative jurisprudence. The method used in this paper is a literature study with a qualitative approach, which involves looking for written documents from books, articles, and other written documents that support the topic of discussion. The results showed that Ki Ratmiko Siswo Carito shapes Islamic cultural identity through meticulous puppet performances to convey Islamic teachings. The flexibility of puppets’ performances in incorporating Islamic values without losing their traditional essence reflects a successful model of cultural integration. It enriches the local cultural landscape and becomes a means of religious education, promoting the understanding and practice of Islam. Ki Ratmiko Siswo Carito’s dedication to preserving shadow puppet art with Islamic teachings significantly contributed to Banyumas’ Islamic cultural identity. Integrating Islamic values into shadow puppet art reflects the dynamic nature of cultural heritage and its potential as a medium for religious and cultural education.

Abstract

More and more, schools are vying for students' enrollment. A high-quality education can be defined as one that meets certain standards in terms of teacher preparation, student achievement, and the quantity of graduates. The purpose of this research is to examine how personnel development and training at SMP Islam Andalusia 1 Kebasen affects teachers' happiness on the job. In this study, questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and observations are some of the methods used. Research employing a qualitative descriptive methodology was what the investigator set out to accomplish. Information gathered by means of surveys, field notes, interviews, and records. Research at SMP Islam Andalusia 1 Kebasen aims to determine how HRD has affected teachers' happiness on the job. Researchers at SMP Islam Andalusia 1 Kebasen interviewed faculty and staff members involved in public relations and school administration. Training and development of human resources significantly and positively affected teacher job satisfaction, according to the study's results. More job satisfaction, increased competence, and intrinsic motivation are the results of teachers' access to high-quality professional development opportunities. However, development programs offer instructors improved professional advancement options and the chance to expand their knowledge and skills. Investing in human resource development and training is crucial if SMP Islam Andalusia 1 Kebasen wants its teachers to be happier in their jobs. Teaching quality and teacher job satisfaction can only be enhanced if schools persist in making training and development programs as effective as possible.   ABSTRAK Semakin banyak, sekolah-sekolah bersaing untuk menarik pendaftaran siswa. Pendidikan berkualitas tinggi dapat didefinisikan sebagai pendidikan yang memenuhi standar tertentu dalam hal persiapan guru, prestasi siswa, dan jumlah lulusan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti bagaimana pengembangan dan pelatihan personel di SMP Islam Andalusia 1 Kebasen mempengaruhi kebahagiaan guru dalam pekerjaan mereka. Dalam penelitian ini, kuesioner, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi adalah beberapa metode yang digunakan. Penelitian yang menggunakan metodologi deskriptif kualitatif adalah apa yang ingin dicapai oleh peneliti. Informasi yang dikumpulkan melalui survei, catatan lapangan, wawancara, dan catatan. Penelitian di SMP Islam Andalusia 1 Kebasen bertujuan untuk menentukan bagaimana HRD telah mempengaruhi kebahagiaan guru dalam pekerjaan mereka. Para peneliti di SMP Islam Andalusia 1 Kebasen mewawancarai anggota fakultas dan staf yang terlibat dalam hubungan masyarakat dan administrasi sekolah. Pelatihan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia secara signifikan dan positif mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja guru, menurut hasil penelitian tersebut. Lebih banyak kepuasan kerja, peningkatan kompetensi, dan motivasi intrinsik adalah hasil dari akses guru ke peluang pengembangan profesional berkualitas tinggi. Namun, program pengembangan menawarkan instruktur opsi peningkatan karir yang lebih baik dan kesempatan untuk memperluas pengetahuan serta keterampilan mereka. Investasi dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia dan pelatihan sangat penting jika SMP Islam Andalusia 1 Kebasen ingin para gurunya lebih bahagia dalam pekerjaan mereka. Kualitas pengajaran dan kepuasan kerja guru hanya dapat ditingkatkan jika sekolah terus berusaha menjadikan program pelatihan dan pengembangan seefektif mungkin.

Abstract

It is impossible for humans to carry out their role as bearers of the mandate of Allah SWT in this world without communication. Likewise, every parent should talk to their children from childhood, especially about matters related to religious values. Religion functions as identity, a moral source, a guide to truth, and even spiritual guidance for humans. Religious education in the family is very important and mandatory because it will influence children's morality so that they do not fall into promiscuity which is dangerous for their future. Children at an early age experience rapid physical and mental growth. It is very important to encourage children to learn because of this rapid development and growth. This research is research that uses qualitative methods with data collection using interview and documentation techniques. The results of this research are: In the psychology paradigm, there are at least 4 theories related to early childhood development, including social, cognitive and constructivist theories: Social Cognitive Theory, teaches the idea that the social environment is where most human learning occurs. Furthermore, they act according to their beliefs about their abilities and the expected outcomes of their actions. Cognitive Development Theory. teaches that the thought process a person has, which includes their ability to relate, assess, and consider what happens or happens to them. There are 4 stages of cognitive development based on age: a. Sensory (sensory motor) stage, b. Preoperational stage (preoperational), c. concrete operational stage (concrete operational), d. formal operational stage (formal operational), Constructivism theory is a learning theory that aims to encourage students to actively discover and build their own knowledge and improve their abilities and skills independently.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi loyalitas tenaga pendidik dan implikasinya terhadap pengembangan SMPN 4 Satu Atap Karangjambu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, yang melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi terhadap tenaga pendidik dan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklim organisasi, kepuasan kerja, dan kompensasi merupakan faktor utama yang memengaruhi loyalitas tenaga pendidik. Iklim organisasi yang positif, ditunjang oleh komunikasi yang terbuka dan kolaborasi antara kepala sekolah dan guru, berperan besar dalam meningkatkan loyalitas. Kompensasi sudah memenuhi standar, meskipun demikian masih ada harapan ada peningkatan dari kompensasi. Namun, faktor suasana kerja dan kesempatan pengembangan tetap lebih dominan dalam meningkatkan loyalitas. Kepuasan kerja juga terbukti signifikan, dengan tenaga pendidik merasa dihargai dan diberi ruang untuk berinovasi. Walaupun jarak dan perubahan kebijakan menjadi faktor eksternal yang perlu dipertimbangkan dalam pemindahan, hal ini tidak berpengaruh besar terhadap keputusan tenaga pendidik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan loyalitas, manajemen sekolah harus memperhatikan hubungan interpersonal yang baik dan kebijakan pengembangan profesional. Prospek penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi lebih lanjut hubungan antara budaya organisasi dan loyalitas, serta menilai faktor eksternal di sekolah dengan fasilitas terbatas.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan aspek krusial yang perlu ditingkatkan oleh pemerintah, baik dalam bentuk formal maupun informal. Di Indonesia, pendidikan terus berkembang seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi. Pendidikan berperan penting dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia dan peningkatan potensi individu. Dalam konteks ini, kinerja guru madrasah ibtidaiyah (MI) sangat penting sebagai pendidik pada tahap awal pendidikan dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru MI dalam pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka di MI Ma’arif NU 11 Bulaksari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder melalui penelitian lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pelatihan berkelanjutan, penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, dan pengembangan profesional berbasis komunitas dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru. Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif dan interaktif bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

In inter-religious relations there are various ways and steps to promote peace. One way is through audio-visual media in the form of films. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan film, a Bollywood production, has many messages that are closely related to the values that carry a message of peace between religious communities. This article attempts to represent how a good deed can be done regardless of religious background. In particular, this article describes the various behaviors of religious people, in this case Islam and Hinduism, which are represented through the roles played by the characters in the film. The method used in this article is a qualitative-descriptive method using Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic analysis. The article argues that the various attitudes displayed through the characters played in the film about the relationship between Muslims and Hindus in India and with neighboring countries, namely Pakistan, can be an illustration for religious people to live side by side in harmony.
