Abstract

Minat belajar merupakan dua aspek yang saling berkaitan dan memiliki peranan penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Minat belajar dapat mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif dan bersemangat dalam mengikuti pelajaran. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya minat belajar IPAS pada peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis (1) pengaruh model project-based learning terhadap minat belajar IPAS pada peserta didik kelas V SD, (2) perbedaan pengaruh model project-based learning dan model prblem-based learning terhadap minat belajar IPA pada siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 56 siswa. Penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam penggunaan model project-based learning terhadap minat belajar IPAS pada peserta didik kelas V SD. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji regresi linier sederhana yang menunjukkan hasil Sig sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 yang berarti h0 ditolak dan ha diterima. (2) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara model project-based learning dan model problem-based learning terhadap minat belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas V SD. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji independent sample t-test yang menunjukkan hasil Sig sebesar 0,044 < 0,05 yang berarti bahwa h0 ditolak dan ha diterima.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations at the PGSD study program at the University of Lampung, there are still many students who do not understand what a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) is, and how to make a good Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). This activity aims to enable students as the future generation of Indonesian teachers to create and understand what a RPP is. Methods of activities in this socialization or training include lecture methods, question and answer, and giving examples. Quantitatively, this seminar can produce students who are competent and able to organize a series of student learning activities properly and correctly. Meanwhile, qualitatively, this activity was attended by more than 89 PGSD students at Lampung University, Metro campus, and the students felt they had gained the knowledge, skills, and experience they needed. The activities are progressing well but are still not fully able to achieve the previously determined targets. It is necessary to follow up and develop similar training for other programs based on field needs.

Abstract

Masalah pada penelitian adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas 5 pada mata pelajaran IPA. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experimental design yang melibatkan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes dan observasi. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh dengan sampel 50 siswa. Data dianalisis dengan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas 5 pada mata pelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Implementation of High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) Based on Problem Based Learning on Science Literacy Ability. Objectives: Knowing and analyzing scientific literacy skills by applying the HOTS-oriented Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. Methods: The type of research in this research is experimental research. The object of research is the implementation of HOTS based on Problem Based Learning (X) on literacy skills (Y). The research subjects were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 5 Metro Pusat. The research design used is a pre-experimental design and uses one form of design, namely the one group pretest-posttest design. This design uses one group, as an illustration, the experimental group. The experimental group is the class that gets treatment in the form to the application of HOTS based on Problem-Based Learning. The HOTS indicators used in this study are identify scientific issues (problems); explain scientific phenomena; using scientific evidence Findings: Based on the results of the data analysis, the pretest score for the scientific literacy ability of students achieved by the experimental class was 9.25 and the posttest score was 11.90. Conclusion: The results of the research that have been carried out show that the application of high order thinking skills (HOTS) based on problem based learning (PBL) to improve scientific literacy skills has the impact of increasing n-gain by 0.21 in the low category. Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of the discovery learning model assisted by flashcard media on the mathematics learning outcomes of students with dyscalculia. The data collection techniques included tests and non-tests. The research approach used a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The population consisted of 103 students, with a sample of 51 students selected using purposive sampling. The results showed a significance value of <0.001<0.05, meaning H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. This indicates that the use of the discovery learning model assisted by flashcard media has an effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of students with dyscalculia.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kurang aktif dalam menyampaikan ide-ide mereka dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan pendidik belum optimal sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas III pada mata pelajaran IPAS di SD Negeri 6 Metro Barat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas III sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen design) dengan desain penelitian non equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas III yang berjumlah 92 peserta didik. Penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu dengan jumlah 46 peserta didik. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan pendekatan science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis IPAS pada peserta didik kelas III di SD Negeri 6 Metro Barat.

Abstract

Learning about simple electrical circuits is a crucial part of Science (IPA) education in elementary schools. However, its implementation often faces various obstacles. This study aims to identify the common problems in learning simple electrical circuits and to formulate effective solutions. Using a descriptive qualitative method with data collection through literature studies and interviews with sixth-grade teachers at SDN 1 Sidodadi, this research found three main issues: 1) Educators' lack of understanding and skills in teaching the concept of electrical circuits, 2) Students' low learning motivation and enthusiasm, often caused by the overuse of lecture methods, and 3) Lack or unavailability of tools and materials for practical activities. The solutions proposed to address these problems include: teachers participating in training to improve their professional competence, applying innovative learning models such as Project-Based Learning (PJBL) and experimental methods to increase student activity and motivation, and utilising appropriate learning media, ranging from realia (physical teaching aids) to PhET simulation media as a substitute when physical tools are unavailable. The conclusion of this study emphasises the importance of the teacher's role in continuously striving to improve the quality of learning through these various solutions, thereby achieving learning objectives effectively.

Abstract

The problem of this research was the low learning outcomes of fifth-grade students due to the teacher's lack of use of varied learning models and media in the teaching process. This study aimed to analyze and describe the effect of the problem-based learning (PBL) model assisted by Powtoon media on students' learning outcomes in IPAS (Science and Social Sciences) subjects. This research used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The population and sample of the study were fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Banding Agung, totaling 46 students. Data collection techniques included tests, observation sheets, and documentation. The hypothesis was tested using simple linear regression with the result Fcount ≥ Ftable (39.559 ≥ 4.30). Therefore, it could be concluded that there was a significant effect of the problem-based learning model assisted by Powtoon media on the IPAS learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Banding Agung.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Panjang Utara. This study aims to determine the effect of the Make a Match cooperative learning model assisted by matching cards on mathematics learning outcomes, as well as the difference between this model and the STAD cooperative model. The method used was quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach and saturated sampling technique involving 61 students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and tests, and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that the Make a Match model assisted by matching cards had an effect on mathematics learning outcomes. The STAD model also had an effect on mathematics learning outcomes. In addition, there were differences between the two learning models. Thus, the Make a Match model assisted by matching cards was more effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes than the STAD model.
