Abstract

This article describes a research result regarding the effect of the Quantum Teaching model on students’ learning outcomes. The method used in the research was a quantitative experimental research method. The population of the research involved 31 fifth-grade elementary school students of SDN 105327 Perdamean Tanjung Morawa in the academic year 2020/2021. The pretest learning results obtained an average score of 66.96 with enough categories. After the researchers applied the treatment in the experimental class by using the Quantum Teaching model, the researchers, hereafter, provided a post-test and obtained an average score of 83.06 in the category of very good. The results of data processing and the significant value of the Quantum Teaching model obtained were 0.200 > 0.05, whilst the significant value of students’ learning outcomes was 0.200 > 0.05. Based on the calculation, it can be seen that the significant value of the Quantum Teaching model and students’ learning outcomes was higher than 0.05; thus, the students’ learning outcomes were normally distributed. From the results of the research hypothesis testing (t-test), it showed that the Quantum Teaching model had a positive and significant effect. It was proven from the tcount > ttable with significance value of 6.023 > 1.697. Thus, Ha was accepted, which meant that there was a significant influence between the Quantum Teaching (X) model and students’ learning outcomes (Y).

Abstract

The results of this study indicated that implementing Group Investigation model increased students’ learning outcomes. It was seen from the improvement of students’ learning outcomes in each cycle. Before implementing the Group Investigation model, the result of the initial test (pretest) showed that 5 students (20%) reached the learning target, while 20 students (80%) did not reach the learning target with an average score of 56. Then, the observation in cycle I obtained that teachers’ activities was 62% while the students’ activities was 56%. Moreover, it was found that in cycle I, 10 students (40%) reached the learning target and 15 students (60%) did not reach the target score. The average score in this cycle was 67,52. This result implied that in general, 75% of the students did not yet achieve the target score; thus, the study was proceeded on cycle II. In cycle II, the observation results indicated that the teacher’s activities was 80% while the students’ activities was 82%. After that, the result of students’ learning outcome showed that 21 students (84%) reached the learning target, while 4 students (16%) did not reach the learning target, and the average score was 79,72. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that implementing Group Investigation model improved students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

The learning model refers to a learning that encourages students to be active and help each other in mastering the subject. This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes at grade VI SD Negeri 066050 Medan Denai for the academic year 2020/2021. This research was Classroom Action Research. The results of the study revealed that for the pretest,6 students (23.07%) reached the target score with an average score of 63.45. In cycle I, there were 11 students (42.30%) who reached the target, with an average of 67.94%. In cycle II, there were 21 students (84.61%) who reached the target with an average of 82.56%. The learning implementation was categorized as good. This was seen from the results of observations of teachers’ activities in cycle I for 64% and in cycle II it increased to 82%. Then, the implementation of learning was good. This was seen from the results of students’ observation activities in cycle I for 60% and in cycle II it increased to 88%. Thus, the results of the study showed an increase in students’ learning outcomes on the theme of Bumiku, the sub-themes of Earth, the Sun and the Moon of learning 1 and learning 2 at grade VI SD for the academic year 2020/2021 . In short, implementing Jigsaw learning model improved students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model of the Student Achievement Division (STAD) type on the learning motivation of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 060841 Medan Petisah in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research employed a quantitative approach. The population of the study consisted of all students from grades I to VI at SD Negeri 060841 Medan Petisah, totaling 174 students. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique, with 23 fourth-grade students serving as the research sample. The results of the study indicated a correlation coefficient of 0.669, meaning that rcalculated (0.669) ≥ rtable (0.433); therefore, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. This result shows a very strong effect of the cooperative learning model of the Student Achievement Division (STAD) type on the learning motivation of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 060841 Medan Petisah. Furthermore, the t-test results showed that tcalculated ≥ ttable , namely 4.120 ≥ 2.069, confirming that Ha was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant effect of the cooperative learning model of the Student Achievement Division (STAD) type on the learning motivation of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 060841 Medan Petisah in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

Curriculum research design is a methodological framework used to scientifically study, develop, implement, and evaluate curricula. In the development of educational science, curriculum research design serves as a means to generate new knowledge, whether in the form of theories, models, or curriculum practices that are relevant to the needs of students and educational contexts. Through appropriate research design, curriculum developers and educational researchers can deeply understand the relationship between objectives. This research uses a qualitative approach with a developmental orientation (developmental research), combined with Research and Development (R&D) and Design-Based Research (DBR) approaches.
