Abstract

The phenomenon of the diversity of religious understandings of Islamic mass organizations in Indonesia promotes a variety of attitudes in the midst of society.  The purpose of this study was to analyze the results of a comparative study of religious understanding of Persatuan Umat Islam (PUI) and Al-Irsyad al-Islamiyyah reviewing the similarities and differences in building ukhuwah Islamiyah. This study employed a qualitative approach and a descriptive method.  In relation to the data collection techniques, this study employed several techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation study. Furthermore, the collected data were analyzed using a descriptive analysis.  Based on the results of the study, it is obvious that the historical background of the establishment of PUI and Al-Irsyad was definitely different with each other. PUI was established as a result of blending the two different Islamic organizations. On the other hand, al-Irsyad was established as the continuation of the former organization called Jamiatul Khair. With respect to the faith understandings, both PUI and al-Irsyad adopted the same understanding, Aqidah ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah.  In the realm of worship practices, PUI adopted the understanding of the Shafi'i schools of thought, while Al-Irsyad al-Islamiyyah referred directly to the Qur'an and the Sunnah through the understanding of their scholars. In addition, in understanding Tasawwuf, PUI provided flexibility to each individual in regard to the tarekat involvement, while Al-Irsyad al-Islamiyyah in principle did not adopt the concept of Tasawwuf.  Al-Salam, Ishlah al-Samaniyah, santri asromo, santri lucu and intisab were considered as a series of unique concepts adopted by PUI.  On the other hand, the initial basic principle of the Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah movement was to realize equality in the lives of fellow Muslims based on the understandings as postulated within the Quran and the Sunnah, and to remove the innovation practices (bid'ah) in terms of the faith as stated in the mabadi of Al-Irsyad.  In terms of the charitable efforts, these two organizations put more concern primarily on the realms of religion, education, economy, and social. Therefore, as the implication of this issue, the society will behave wisely in regard to the differences in Islamic understandings of Islamic mass organizations in the midst of society.Fenomena beragamnya paham keagamaan organisasi massa Islam yang ada di Indonesia menimbulkan beragam sikap di tengah-tengah kehidupan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hasil studi komparasi pemahaman keagamaan Persatuan Umat Islam dan Al-Irsyad al-Islamiyyah tinjauan persamaan dan perbedaan dalam membangun ukhuwah Islamiyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan data dengan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi.  Data-data yang sudah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis melalui analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat perbedaan sejarah berdirinya PUI dan Al-Irsyad. PUI terlahir dari gabungan 2 ormas Islam yang berbeda, adapun Al-Irsyad terlahir dari ormas Jamiatul Khair. Dalam pemahaman ‘aqidah, PUI dan Al-Irsyad sama-sama menganut paham ‘aqidah Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah. Dalam pengamalan ibadah, PUI mengadopsi pemahaman madzhab Syafi’i rahimahullah, adapun Al-Irsyad al-Islamiyyah merujuk langsung kepada al-Qur’an dan Sunnah melalui pemahaman ulama mereka. Dalam pemahaman Tasawuf, PUI memberikan keleluasaan kepada pribadi masing-masing untuk mengikuti tarekat manapun, adapun Al-Irsyad al-Islamiyyah secara pemahaman tidak mengadopsi konsep tasawuf. PUI memiliki prinsip khas yakni konsep al-Salam, Ishlah al-Samaniyah, santri asromo, santri lucu dan intisab. Adapun prinsip pokok awal gerakan Al-Irsyad al-Islamiyyah yakni mewujudkan kesetaraan dalam kehidupan sesama muslim berdasar pemahaman yang bersumber dari al-Quran dan sunnah, menumpas praktik bid’ah dalam hal akidah sebagaimana yang tercantum dalam mabadi Al-Irsyad al-Islamiyyah.  Dari segi amal usaha kedua ormas ini memiliki kesamaan dalam bidang keagamaan, pendidikan, ekonomi, dan sosial. Implikasinya dalam menyikapi perbedaan paham keagamaan ormas Islam di tengah-tengah masyarakat akan semakin bijaksana.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter melalui metode keteladanan guru di sekoah. Hal ini berangkat dari sebuah pandangan bahwa kesuksesan dalam penanaman nilai-nilai karakter pada suatu proses pendidikan tidak dapat dilepaskan dari keteladanan yang diberikan oleh guru terhadap para peserta didik. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunkan medotode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah terdiri dari guru, dan peserta didik SMAN 1 Pamnukan Subang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara.  Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini pendidikan karakter yaitu pendidikan yang di dalamnya terdapat proses pengembangan nilai-nilai karakter bangsa pada setiap individu, sehingga setiap individu mempunyai karakter dan nilai sebagai karakter dirinya, mengimplementasikan setiap nilai religius pada kehidupan sehari-hari, sebagai anggota masyarakat, dan warga negara yang berjiwa nasioanalis, kreatif, produktif dan religius. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter seperti nilai religius, jujur, disiplin, bertanggung jawab, peduli sosial, peduli lingkungan, mandiri, cinta tanah air dan semangat kebangsaan. Tindakan memberikan keteladanan yang dilakukan oleh guru kepada peserta didik yaitu dengan membeikan contoh melalui perkataan, perbuatan dan berbagai metode yang lain, seperti dengan memberikan contoh melalui penjelasan secara langsung. Selain itu pemberian contoh juga dilakukan dengan melakukan penayangan video pendek yang di dalamnya mengandung nilai religius, dan selalu mencontohkan berpakain yang rapih dan sopan.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penjelasan mengenai proses pengembangan karakter religius peserta didik yang berbasis kepada keteladanan guru di Sekolah. Hal ini berangkat dari sebuah pandangan bahwa kesuksesan dalam mengembangkan nilai-nilai karakter religius pada suatu proses pendidikan tidak dapat dilepaskan daripada keteladanan yang diberikan oleh guru terhadap para peserta didik. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis kualitatif dengan metode yang dipakai adalah studi kasus (case study). Kemudian pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif-kualitatif. Sementara analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik deskriptif-analisis. Hasil tulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa di Sekolah, pengembangan karakter religius peserta didik yang berbasis kepada keteladanan guru ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya pengembangan terhadap nilai-nilai yang mengarah pada pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik, seperti sikap taat melaksanakan ibadah, berprilaku baik sesuai ajaran agama, berbicara dengan santun dan saling menghormati dengan sesama warga sekolah. Kemudian pengembangan karakter religius tersebut dilakukan oleh ketika guru berada di dalam maupun di luar kelas, dan juga dengan memanfaatkan komunikasi verbal dan juga non verbal.

Abstract

In the field of education, the internet as an information manager has become a staple food for people of all ages, from children to adults, to broaden their knowledge. Digitizing education can be done through theapplication of e-learning in teaching and learning activities through the use of technology. This study aims to describe digital-based learning of Islamic religious education. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The data collected comes from secondary data through literature analysis from relatedjournals, articles, books and websites. The results of this study indicate that digital-based PAI learning media such as e-learning in the learning process will generate a new will and interest for students, as well as increase motivation in learning. LMS or Learning Management System is a gateway for students to enter a digital-based learning process, which is now being carried out by many educational institutions. Proficiency or lack of understanding of information and communication technology devices is a problem that arises from learning Islamic religious education.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate digital-based learning as an effort to improve the quality of PAI learning. The research method used is a qualitative approach with the type of exploratory study to reveal contemporary phenomena which are then explored and identified. The data collected comes from primary data through interviews and observations at SMA Negeri 15 and SMA Alfa Centauri Bandung. The results of this study indicate that digital-based learning infrastructure in supporting PAI learning in schools consists of wifi, a set of computers or laptops, interactive screens, and CCTV. While the PAI learning process can be carried out digitally in classrooms and computer laboratories starting from planning, implementing, and evaluating. This research has implications for the importance of using information technology to improve the quality of Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the Sīroh An-Nabawiyyah Learning Media Through the Concept of Fiqh Sīroh Ramadhan Al-Buthi based on NPT (narrative, pedagogical, and theological) with the support of historical visualization. In the dimension of modernity, globalization and technological acceleration have an effect on reducing the moral morality of the younger generation. According to the contemporary Muslim scholar Prof. Dr Muhammad Sa'id Ramadhan Al-Buthi in his work Fiqh As-Sīroh recommends that the younger generation must be friends with the figure of Rasulullah SAW as an ideal role model in all aspects. Every event that happened to Rasulullah, according to Al-Buthi has pedagogical values that can be implemented in the life of a Muslim, thus giving birth to a young generation who is religious and religious. In line with Al-Buthi, Prof. Dr. Ali Jum'ah, a senior scholar of Al-Azhar Egypt, recommended that the younger generation be trained to build the paradigm of "Rosulullah SAW as a father" meaning they must consider Rasulullah as an example and uswatun hasanah. this according to him can serve to improve their character education and religiosity. In line with the above, in the view of researchers, the problems related to juvenile delinquency can be bridged by handling them by bringing them closer to pedagogical stories from the life journey of Rasulullah SAW. Through a qualitative approach with a library review technique of primary data of the historical works of the Prophet Muhammad written by contemporary Muslim scholars Prof. Dr. Ramadhan Al-Buthi entitled Fiqh As-Sīroh, as for secondary data taken from other literature such as Ar-Rahīq Al-Makhtum, Dirāsah Tahlīliyyah Li Syahshiyati Ar-Rāsul Muhammad, Sīroh Ibn Hisham, Sīroh Ibn Ishaq. This research is expected to be able to produce the development of learning media based on pedagogical values, so that every event has learning and theological values and can be contextualized with current reality. The methods that will be applied in developing this media in every story of the Prophet's journey include: 1) Visualization of images of relevant objects, 2) Narrating events and stories, 3) Analysis and discussion discussions 4) Describing pedagogical values, and 5) Describing theological values.

Abstract

Ahlak menjadi indikator dalam peningkatan ahlak manusai disebuah Negara terkhusus Negara yang kental akan nilai-nilai islami. Baldatun Ṭayyibatun Wa Rabbun Ghafūr adalah sebuah karaketristik atas gambaran suatu negeri yang mana terdapat kebaikan alam dan kebaikan akhlak penduduknya. Secara lebih luas, ialah sebuah negeri yang mengumpulkan kebaikan dunia dan akhirat. Hakikat Baldatun Ṭayyibatun Wa Rabbun Gafūr merupakan keadaan negeri yang menjadi dambaan dan impian seluruh manusia. Penelitian ini terfokus pada penafsiran Baldatun Ṭayyibatun Wa Rabbun Gafūr surat Saba’ ayat 15 menurut Hamka dalam kitab Tafsir Al-Azhar. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian perpustakaan (Library research), dengan pendekatan deskriptif interpretatif. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif analisis, yaitu menguraikan sekaligus menganalisis dari data-data yang ada dengan beberapa langkah. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa menurut Hamka dalam tafsir Al-Azhar makna Baldatun Ṭayyibatun Wa Rabbun Gafûr ditafsirkan sebagai karakter negeri yang memiliki kondisi geografis tanah subur. Kondisi sosial penduduknya ialah ketika negerinya memperoleh kemakmuran tersebut harus menjadikan manusia dekat dengan Allah SWT, tidak kufur, melainkan harus tetap beramal sholih, senantiasa tetap berusaha dan bekerja meskipun nikmat Allah SWT telah melimpah ruah. Hikmah yang dapat diambil ketika kita selalu bersyukur dan beramal sholih ialah negeri tetap baik dilimpahi rahmat dan ampunan oleh Allah SWT. Morals become an indicator in increasing human morality in a country, especially a country that is thick with Islamic values. Baldatun ayyibatun Wa Rabbun Ghafūr is a characteristic of the description of a country where there is the goodness of nature and the moral goodness of its inhabitants. More broadly, it is a country that gathers the goodness of this world and the hereafter. The essence of Baldatun ayyibatun Wa Rabbun Gafūr is the state of a country that is the dream and dream of all humans. This research focuses on the interpretation of Baldatun 'ayyibatun Wa Rabbun Gafūr letter Saba' verse 15 according to Hamka in the book of Tafsir Al-Azhar. The type of this research is library research, with an interpretive descriptive approach. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive analysis method, which was to describe and analyze the existing data in several steps. The results of this study can be concluded that according to Hamka in the interpretation of Al-Azhar the meaning of Baldatun ayyibatun Wa Rabbun Gafûr is interpreted as the character of a country that has fertile soil geographical conditions. The social condition of the population is that when the country gains prosperity, it must make humans close to Allah SWT, not kufr, but must continue to do good deeds, always keep trying and work even though the blessings of Allah SWT have been abundant. The lesson that can be taken when we are always grateful and do good deeds is that the country is still good, overflowing with grace and forgiveness by Allah SWT.

Abstract

Abstract The educational issue of learning to read Qur'an is currently growing. The number of students who still cannot read Qur'an following the rules is the main problem. This study describes the learning process of reading Qur'an at Darul Hikam Elementary School Bandung. A qualitative approach with case study method was used in this research. Data were obtained through observation, interview, and document study. The results of the data were processed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research findings show that the learning process of reading Qur'an at Darul Hikam Elementary School used the Teacher-Centered Learning pattern and implemented various learning methods at each grade level. The learning results show that students can read Qur'an in the "Good" category. Therefore, designing the process of learning to read Qur’an in private and public schools is needed to be developed so that it has various learning processes and improves students' abilities.

Abstract

Radicalism is seen as dangerous for the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. It is contradictory to Islamic values, where Islam upholds the principles of tolerance, peace, and respect for one's beliefs. Therefore, serious efforts are required from all levels of society to minimize the spread of this understanding, especially for the millennial generation. This study aims to find conceptual ideal ideas to deal with issues of radicalism through the role of (IRE) Islamic Religious Education teachers in the formal learning process at schools. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. The study was carried out in Madrasa Aliyah (Islamic Senior High School) Maarif Tanjung Sari Sumedang. Data were collected through an interview, observation, and discussion. The data were analyzed using the interactive analysis technique. Results of the study revealed that the Islamic Religious Education teacher of MA Maarif Tanjung Sari played an important role in stemming radicalism. Implementing 5 principles in the teaching-learning process is the key.
