Abstract

This study was conducted to find out and describe the principal’s leadership in fostering teacher’s performance at SMA Negeri 3 Banyuasin III. The research method is a qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used: (1) observation; (2) interviews; (3) run. Research data analysis techniques: (1) data reduction; (2) data presentation; (3) conclusion and verification. Based on the results of the research it is known that: the principal plays an active role, in fostering teachers in preparing lesson plans, teachers in carrying out learning are in accordance with the curriculum. The teacher assesses learning outcomes every midterm, and per semester. The obstacle faced by school principals and teachers is the lack of learning resource facilities as supporting media for teachers in conveying learning, so that the learning process delivered does not work as expected and is less than optimal. The strategy carried out by the principal is by empowering the ability of teachers and utilizing makeshift learning resource facilities with a strategy of providing examples related to the daily lives of students in the real world related to the learning material delivered refers to active, innovative learning, which is creative, effective and fun.

Abstract

The three effects on teacher’s performance at SMA Patra Mandiri Palembang that this study seeks to identify and describe are: 1) the impact of school infrastructure; 2) the impact of work motivation; and 3) the combined impact of school infrastructure and work motivation. Teachers at SMA Patra Mandiri 1 and 2, SMA Fitra Abdi, comprising 86 teachers, comprised the population and sample in this study. Data gathering methods: 1) an interview; 2) an observation; and 3) documentation. Techniques for data analysis with the SPSS software package for Windows version 26: the tests for normality, linearity, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. Simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, multiple correlation (R), determinant (R2), and the F test are all methods for testing hypotheses. The findings of this study show that in SMA Patra Mandiri Palembang, infrastructure, motivation to collaborate, and facilities have a significant and beneficial influence on teacher’s performance.

Abstract

This is descriptive qualitative research using interview data collection techniques and field observations. This study aims to look at the principal’s leadership in increasing teacher performance at SD Negeri 10 Koba, Central Bangka Regency. Teacher performance can be reviewed and measured based on the content that must be owned by every educator. It can be displayed through the dominance of pedagogic, professional, personality and social competencies. Considering that the principal’s leadership on teacher performance is very influential, it is suggested that at SD Negeri 10 Koba, Central Bangka Regency, increasing teacher performance can be done through career development for teachers through training or educational seminars.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to learn more about the application of School-Based Management in creating a superior school at SD Negeri 01 Rantau Panjang, as well as the elements that helped and hindered the SBM process. The study employs qualitative methodologies. SD Negeri 01 Rantau Panjang was the site of this study. Observations, interviews, and documentation were used to gather data. The acquired data is analyzed using the phases of data gathering, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The principal, teachers, students’ parents, and the school committee were the focus of this investigation. From the findings of this study, it can be inferred that (1) school-based management is fairly good, starting with curriculum management and ending with special service management. (2) Internal and external variables in SD Negeri 01 Rantau Panjang assist the implementation of SBM. The implementation of SBM in SD Negeri 01 Rantau Panjang was hampered by both internal and external issues. Internal reasons include a lack of proper facilities and infrastructure, insufficient learning tools and media, a shortage of qualified teaching professionals on the job, and limited funding. External factors, such as the lack of involvement of parents of children who are still absent, as well as a lack of collaboration between the school and the corporate world.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether the academic oversight and work motivation of the principal at SMK Negeri 1 Prabumulih have an impact on teacher job satisfaction. In this study, 80 teachers were selected using the Slovin algorithm from a population of 100 teachers at Prabumulih State Vocational School 1, while the sampling is done by random sampling, This sort of study involves quantitative research with correlation and quantitative descriptive research methodologies. The research instrument is a questionnaire that has been evaluated for validity and reliability. The findings of the regression test, specifically simple linear regression and multiple linear regression using SPSS, support the research hypothesis that there is a substantial relationship between academic supervision and teacher job satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of certification and motivation on teacher’s performance. The location of this research was carried out at a public high school in the Kayuagung District. This type of research is quantitative research with a research design using an ex post facto research design. The sample in this study was a total of all teachers in public high schools in the Kayuagung District, consisting of 87 teachers. data collection technique using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques, and multiple regression. The results of this study state that 1) there is a significant influence between school teacher’s certification on the performance of public high school teachers in the Kayuagung District; 2) there is a significant influence between motivation on the performance of State Senior High School teachers in the Kayuagung District; 3) there is a significant effect of teacher’s certification and motivation together on the performance of teachers in public high schools in the Kayuagung District. These results suggest that the higher the qualification of a certified teacher, the higher the performance. Then, motivation within the teacher will have an impact on teacher’s performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the implementation of learning, constraints, and solutions to overcome the obstacles in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in learning management at SMA Negeri 1 Kayuagung. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection tools use interviews, observation, documentation and literature review methods. Data analysis techniques use descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results showed that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in the learning process at SMA Negeri 1 Kayuagung was carried out well but there are obstacles, and in this paper, we provided the solutions.

Abstract

This study aims to describe strategies for improving school management performance at SMK Negeri 2 Kayuagung. Data collection tools using interviews, documentation, observation and literature review. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis with research stages referring to Miles and Huberman’s theory, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results of the study stated that the principal’s strategy at SMK Negeri 2 Kayuagung in improving management performance through the planning sector, the organizing sector, the implementation sector and the supervision sector at SMK Negeri 2 Kayuagung. The obstacles faced in improving school management performance are in the implementation sector of improving the quality of learning and increasing teacher competence at SMK Negeri 2 Kayuagung. Solutions to some of the obstacles include 1) carrying out continuous coaching and training of teachers, supervising, evaluating and providing directions for improvement.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the management of school principals improves the quality of education through the driving school program. This research is a field research qualitative approach method. The researcher describes the activities or behavior of the deceased, both their perceptions and opinions, as well as other aspects that are relevant to the focus of this research. The informants or key informants in this study are school supervisors, principals, teachers, and student opinions. Overall, the role of the school principal is very important in managing the Mobilize Teachers’ College program. Through good planning, effective organization, directed implementation, and careful supervision, school principals can ensure that the program runs successfully and has a positive impact on improving the quality of education in schools. Principal leadership management through the Mobilization School program at SMAN 1 Sirah Pulau Padang includes (1) planning of the Mobilizing School program; (2) organizing the resources for implementing the Mobilization School program; (3) implementation of the driving school program; and (4) supervising the implementation of the driving school program. The obstacles faced are (1) limited resources; (2) lack of support and understanding of the Mobilization School Program; (3) students are less motivated or do not participate actively in the Mobilization School Program; (4) schools need to adapt and ensure that the program remains in accordance with existing requirements; and (5) obstacles in evaluating and monitoring the Mobilization School Program. This research provides a new reference description regarding principal leadership management through the Mobilization School program.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership of the head of SMA LTI IGM Palembang and the implementation of in learning in realizing the profile of Pancasila students. To achieve this goal, a qualitative approach was used. Data were collected by using interview, documentation, and observation. The results showed that the principal conducted planning, implementation, and evaluation of the character of Pancasila students in the school as a whole. The principal has a commendable character and is able to implement it in carrying out his duties and functions as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator; as well as being an example and role model for all educators and education personnel. In the implementation of realizing the profile of Pancasila students through learning both subject learning and Pancasila student recruitment projects.
