Abstract

The goal of this study was to evaluate and analyze: (1) the effectiveness of teachers in increasing the quality of learning at MTs Darussalam Lahat; (2) the barriers encountered by teachers; and (3) the approach applied. This is a qualitative research method using a descriptive approach. The following data gathering methods were used: (1) observation; (2) interviews; and (3) documentation. Techniques for analyzing research data include (1) data reduction; (2) data presentation; and (3) data verification/conclusion. According to the findings of the study, (1) teachers are capable of planning classes, carrying out learning, evaluating learning, following up on the learning outcomes supplied, and providing advice and counseling; (2) due to restricted facilities, not all instructors can participate in activities such as training, MGMP, and seminars. (3) the technique adopted by teaching teachers to improve the quality of learning at MTs Darussalam Lahat is to seek infrastructure that is not already present in schools, such as multiplying books as learning medium to fulfill the learning demands of students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify and characterize the influence of teacher professionalism in increasing learning quality at SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Lago in Banyuasin Regency. This is a qualitative research method using a descriptive approach. The following data gathering methods were used: (1) observation; (2) interviews; and (3) documentation. Techniques for analyzing research data include (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) data verification/conclusion. According to the study's findings, the role of teacher professionalism in improving the quality of learning at SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Lago, Banyuasin Regency can be described as active, with teachers planning ahead of time in preparing lesson plans, carrying out learning in accordance with the established curriculum, and referring to the Minister Regulation, where the educational process leads to a character approach using a contextual approach. Furthermore, every mid-semester, every semester, the instructor reviews the learning outcomes.

Abstract

The goal of this paper was to look at how the school literacy movement was being implemented in SMP Negeri 1 Talang Ubi. This research takes a qualitative method, including interview, observation, and documentation as tools. The gathered data were then examined using Miles and Huberman's hypothesis. According to the study's findings, the preparation for the implementation of the School Literacy Movement at SMP Negeri 1 Talang Ubi was adequate in terms of building preparation, library administration, and the acquisition of reading books. However, school residents' preparation and public participation have not been emphasized. As a result, the education office must play a more active role in socialization and counseling.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to look at the influence of work motivation and work discipline on teacher performance at the State Junior High School in Bayung Lencir District, both partially and concurrently. This study was carried out in the State Junior High School in Bayung Lencir District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, with 192 teachers serving as participants. Questionnaires and documents are used to collect data. Construction and content validity are used in the validity test. Conbach alpha is used in the dependability test. Normality, homogeneity, and linearity tests are used to analyze test requirements. Simple regression and multiple regression approaches were used to evaluate the data. According to the findings of this study, there is a partial or simultaneous effect of motivation and work discipline on teacher performance, as well as a positive association between motivation and discipline on teacher performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to provide a description of the impact of leadership and work discipline on teacher’s job satisfaction at SMA PGRI 2 Palembang. A quantitative technique was used in the research. According to the findings of the study, partial leadership has a favorable and substantial impact on teacher work satisfaction at SMA PGRI 2 Palembang. Similarly, it is suggested that there is a favorable and significant impact of partial assessment of work discipline on teacher’s job satisfaction. The examination of leadership and work discipline at the same time has a good and significant influence on teacher’s job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study examined the organizational culture and work discipline on teacher’s professionalism. This study belongs to qualitative method. The data were collected using questionnaire and documentation. The results showed organizational culture and work discipline significantly influences the professionalism of SMA Negeri 1 Belimbing teachers both partially and simultaneously. This study reveals the principals to more pay attention the organizational culture and work discipline where they will gain teacher’s professionalism.

Abstract

This study examined the organizational culture and work motivation on teacher’s performance. This study used qualitative method. The data were collected using questionnaire and documentation. The results showed organizational culture and teacher’s motivation partially and together have a significant effect on the performance of SMA Negeri 1 Belimbing teachers. This study states to focus the organizational culture and work motivation in order to achieve good teacher’s performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between the principal’s participatory leadership and school culture on the job satisfaction of teachers of SMA Negeri in Prabumulih Timur District. The population of this study were teachers at State Senior High Schools in East Prabumulih District, namely State Senior High School 3 and State Senior High School 7 Prabumulih, totaling 167 teachers and the research sample was taken using the Slovin formula as many as 96 teachers. This type of research uses quantitative research with correlation and quantitative descriptive research methods, while the sampling is done by random sampling. the research instrument uses a questionnaire or questionnaire that has been tested for validity and tested for reliability. The results of the research hypothesis using the regression test, namely simple linear regression and multiple linear regression using SPSS indicate that there is a significant influence between the principal’s participatory leadership on teacher job satisfaction, school culture on teacher job satisfaction in SMA Neger in Prabumulih Timur District with a significant value of p <0 .05, namely 0.000, it can be concluded if the alternative hypothesis is accepted. Then between the principal’s participatory leadership and school culture on the job satisfaction of public high school teachers in East Prabumulih District is at a level of p <0.05 which is equal to 0.000, so the alternative hypothesis is accepted which means that there is a significant influence simultaneously between the principal’s participatory leadership and culture schools on the job satisfaction of public high school teachers in East Prabumulih District.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to investigate the school health business management in State Primary School 157 Palembang. This study was carried out in qualitative and interview was used as instrument. The results showed that the health business management has been going well because in its implementation it has involved all parties, from the school principal, teachers, students, staff, school committee, health center staff and the surrounding community. It contributes to others school to apply health business management as what was done in State Primary School 157 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of principal leadership and internal communication on the performance of driving school teachers in public high schools in the Kayuagung district. This research was conducted at Kayuagung 1 Public High School, Kayuagung 2 Public High School and Kayuagung 3 Public High School. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study amounted to 137 people. The sample in this study amounted to 58 people. Data obtained through questionnaires and documentation techniques. To analyze the data, it was carried out through correlation tests, simple linear regression and multiple regression, which had previously been tested for data normality, linearity, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity as prerequisite tests. The results of the study stated that there was a positive influence on the leadership of the principal and internal communication together on the performance of driving school teachers in public high schools in the Kayuagung district.
