Abstract

Local commodity-based tourism villages have the potential to support sustainable tourism by integrating economic value, cultural heritage, and community empowerment. However, many still lack a well-structured business model. This study aims to describe the business model of the Hanjeli Tourism Village in Sukabumi Regency using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach. This village promotes hanjeli (Coix lacryma-jobi) as its main attraction through a community-based educational tourism concept. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the tourism village has diverse customer segments, a unique value proposition in the form of hanjeli education and cultural preservation, and utilizes promotional channels such as social media and tourism exhibitions. The village generates revenue from various sources, including educational tourism packages, processed hanjeli products, homestay services, and donation support. Its key resources include the local community, hanjeli crops, and village infrastructure. Key activities involve education, cultivation, product processing, and promotion, supported by partnerships with government institutions, academics, and community groups. This study contributes by demonstrating how the BMC approach can be used to design an integrated business model for tourism villages based on local potential and can serve as a reference for similar tourism village development in other regions.

This research uses the quantitative descriptive method with interview and observation techniques to 55 farmers. Results The results showed that there was a loss of potato yield with an average of 2091,8 kg/ha at the production level. Abstract

Tobacco, which is an Indonesian plantation product, has an existence in the eyes of the world. Processed tobacco plants are able to become a major source of foreign exchange for the country. However, according to FAO and UN Comtrade data in 2024, there is a pattern of decreasing tobacco production and the decreasing volume of exports to the world makes this commodity questionable. Based on this background, the two main objectives of this study are: 1) Identifying the competitiveness of smallholder tobacco in Sukasari Village, and 2) Analyzing the impact of government policies by identifying competitiveness between international (social) and private price levels. In this study, the Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM) method was used to analyze competitiveness and policy divergence in tobacco commodities. Samples were taken using a proportional cluster random approach using the Taro Yamane formula. The results showed that tobacco in Sukasari Village has a significant advantage over other products or is competitive. The EPC value is 0.510, NT -Rp59,044,757.3, PC 0.457, and SRP -0.542, which means that the policies issued by the government have not had a positive impact and have not benefited farmers. From the results of the sensitivity analysis, when the rupiah weakens in the eyes of the US dollar by 6 percent is the sensitivity that is most likely to benefit farmers. However, overall, smallholder tobacco in Sukasari Village still has competitiveness.

Abstract

Farming is very dependent on the ability of farmers as the main manager. Farmers as humans have the freedom to interact with the environment around them, learn new things, and follow any existing developments in order to increase the scale of their farming so that it can have an impact on increasing their welfare. The pattern of training that has been carried out so far is not in accordance with the latest conditions and challenges. Current training is only limited to increasing the knowledge and attitude of farmers, not directly correlated with increasing farmer income which leads to farmer welfare. In line with this, a form of training that is adaptive to the times and can be easily accepted by farmers is needed. Breakthroughs and innovation creations both in materials and methods in conducting training for farmers need to be carried out in order to answer various human resource problems for farmers. Answering this thought, the Onsite Training Model (OTM) is here as a solution and a breakthrough in training and improving farmer human resources. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Onsite Training Model (OTM) on vegetable agribusiness training on farmers' income. Respondents in this study were 45 farmers who attended the training. For this reason, quantitative descriptive analysis was used, analysis of farm income and different comparison tests using the paired sample t test. The results showed that the farmers' income after attending the training was greater and significantly different than the income before attending the training. Therefore farmers are expected to continue to consistently apply the knowledge gained from training using the Onsite Training Model (OTM).

This research uses a quantitative approach with correlational methods (multiple linear regression) and descriptive methods. This research used a survey method with tools in the form of questionnaires on 48 santri’s. The results of the research show that internal and external factors as well as students' interest in horticultural farming are in the high category. Then, internal factors and external factors of students have a significant influence on students' interest in horticultural farming at the Al Kautsar 561 Islamic Boarding School, Tasikmalaya Regency. Abstract

Indonesia and Madagascar are world clove exporting countries, with India as the leading export destination and having quite a high demand.   This research aims to comparatively analyze the competitiveness of Indonesian and Madagascar cloves in the Indian market using the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) analysis tool, and the relationship between export value and volume to RCA is calculated using the Pearson product-moment correlation analysis technique 2012-2021. Research results show that the average RCA value for Indonesia is more excellent, 4.29, compared to Madagascar's 2.31, in 2012-2021, so cloves from Indonesia are more competitive than Madagascar cloves in India. The volume and value of clove exports to India from 2012 to 2021 had a strong and significant effect on the RCA value in Indonesia, while in Madagascar, it had no effect on the RCA value or a negative relation and was not significant.
