Abstract

This study examines the influence of employee green behavior on the performance of green instructors in the Madrasah context in Medan City, using the frameworks of organizational ambidexterity and green self-efficacy. Adopting a quantitative research methodology, the study utilized surveys as the primary data collection tool. The research population consisted of all Madrasah instructors in Medan City, totaling 229 individuals, who also served as the research sample. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative statistical methods, specifically path analysis. Primary data were collected through surveys, while secondary data were obtained from official Madrasah records. The findings reveal that instructors’ green self-efficacy in Madrasahs in Medan City is significantly influenced by their green behavior. Moreover, environmentally sustainable practices positively impact organizational ambidexterity, which in turn affects teacher performance. However, organizational ambidexterity does not have a direct significant influence on green teacher performance. Conversely, employee green behavior indirectly enhances teacher performance through its effects on organizational ambidexterity and green self-efficacy.

Abstract

This study examines the role of fintech adoption in mediating the relationship between perceived risk and business sustainability in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Samosir Regency. Using a quantitative approach with data analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the study finds that fintech adoption significantly reduces the perceived risks faced by SME owners, which in turn contributes to long-term business sustainability. Digital technologies such as electronic payment systems, peer-to-peer lending platforms, crowdfunding, and mobile banking have proven to enhance operational efficiency, expand market reach, and improve financial transparency and control. These benefits help SMEs build resilience and competitiveness, especially in rural areas like Samosir where access to conventional financial services is limited. Despite the potential benefits, challenges such as limited technological knowledge, digital infrastructure gaps, regulatory uncertainty, and the lack of skilled human resources remain major barriers to effective fintech implementation. The study highlights that the role of government and stakeholders is vital in creating an enabling environment for fintech adoption. This includes policies that encourage innovation, facilitate access to digital infrastructure, provide education and training to increase digital literacy, and foster partnerships between SMEs and fintech service providers. Additionally, support from local communities and continuous awareness campaigns can further reduce resistance to change and increase trust in digital financial solutions. Overall, this research emphasizes that fintech adoption plays a crucial role in not only mitigating business risks but also supporting the long-term sustainability and growth of SMEs in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of liquidity, solvency, and profitability on the financial performance of manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the years 2021–2024. The study employs a quantitative explanatory methodology utilizing secondary data derived from audited financial statements. Researchers utilized a purposive sampling strategy to choose 16 organizations as research samples. The examination of the data included classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, partial t-tests, simultaneous F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The findings indicate that liquidity (Current Ratio), solvency (Debt to Equity Ratio), and profitability (Return on Assets) each exert a positive and significant influence on financial performance as assessed by Return on Equity. At the same time, the three independent variables have a big effect on financial performance, with a good correlation (R = 0.828). This means that 68.6% of the changes in ROE can be described by CR, DER, and ROA, while the other 31.4% is due to other factors that are not part of the model. These results show how important it is for businesses to keep their capital structure healthy, manage their liquidity at the right level, and make more money in order to increase shareholder value and keep their business going
