Abstract

Management control system in an organization or institution is needed, especially for a nation or country is to fix itself, towards improving the quality, especially in college. Because it is a place where someone forged, educated, guided and directed to be able to be a human beings who have ideals, capable of realizing the ideals of both the ideals of itself, family, nation and country.The purpose of the management control system design to effort is to get the reliability and integrity of information, compliance with policies, plans, procedures, rules and regulations, protecting company property, efficient result and economic activities. Knowledge of management should be owned by everyone for himself, or another persons or groups, in this hope to manage themselves and to manage the subordinates to achieve goals.

Abstract

Mitra kegiatan PKM ini adalah dua sekolah mitra UMSU, yakni SMP Satu Nusa Binjai dan SMA Satu Nusa Binjai. Guru-guru pada dua sekolah tersebut diberikan pelatihan pembuatan media kuis interaktif online quizizz. Target khusus yang ingin dicapai melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini menghasilkan guru-guru melek teknologi dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dan evaluasi pembelajaran secara daring/online. Guru yang mendapat manfaat dari kegiatan pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi dan pengimbasan kepada guru-guru bidang studi lain di sekolah mereka atau dalam kegiatan MGMP masing masing kelompok guru bidang studi. Metode pendekatan yang ditawarkan pada kegiatan PKM ini adalah pendampingan penuh dengan tahapan: 1) Pertemuan awal kepada guru mitra dalam kegiatan penyamaan persepsi tentang pentingnya IT dalam pembelajaran dan evaluasi pembelajaran, 2) Pelatihan intensif mengembangkan soal pr/kuis/ujian dan aplikasi soal kuis/ujian daring/online pada media kuis interaktif online quizizz, 3) FGD terkait media kuis interaktif online quizizz yang dikembangkan dalam pelaksanaan pr/kuis/ujian siswa, 4) Simulasi/praktek uji coba langsung dan 5) evaluasi hasil kegiatan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principal's competence towards teachers implementing online learning during the 19th period to save the vital role of education itself, especially the opportunity for the principal as a leader in the school environment to give influence to the teacher in the distance learning process (online), as well as providing safety for many people, especially for students to avoid covid19. This study is a study that uses a literature review method that is where the authors make observations and reviews as well as analyzing the results of previous writings that will become a reference in this writing. The results of this study are: 1) the role of the principal is vital in term of the competencies that must be possessed by a leader in the school environment not only during the COVID-19 pandemic but also during ordinary situations; 2) and during such regular activities, the role and Principal competence must be able to provide positive space for teachers to improve competence in term of teaching and learning.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah Development Partnership Program (PKPM) through the internal funding of Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra was conducted to assist teachers in managing active learning through the MIKIR strategy (Experiencing, Interaction, Communication, and Reflection). The PKM activity partners are two schools from among the UMSU partner schools, namely SD Muhammadiyah 12 Medan. Specific targets to be achieved through the implementation of PKPM activities produce professional and skilled teachers in managing active learning so that the learning provided is more interesting and meaningful for students. The approach method offered in this PKPM activity is training and mentoring with stages: 1) Initial meeting to partner teachers in the activity of equality perception about active learning through MIKIR techniques, 2) Intensive training and mentoring, 3) classroom practice in partner elementary schools, and 4) evaluation of the results of activities. Each stage is carried out maximally, so that the competency of the assisted teacher becomes better in managing active learning which is oriented towards MIKIR activities

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi pembelajaran untuk metode numerik which dirancang dengan pendekatan metakognitif pemrograman dibantu matlab. Model pengembangan bahan pembelajaran menggunakan Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R & D) WHO metode dikembangkan oleh Borg dan Gall dan dikombinasikan dengan model pengembangan pengajaran Dick dan Carey. Populasi untuk uji coba produk adalah mahasiswa UMSU jurusan pendidikan matematika. Instrumen which digunakan adalah kuesioner. Produk ini memiliki tiga langkah uji gruops Termasuk pribadi, gruops kecil dan lapangan. Sebelum uji coba produk, peneliti tidak ahli sidang validasi atas isi dan desain bahan pembelajaran untuk metode numerik dengan menggunakan kuesioner Menurut indikator yang telah ditentukan. Kemudian kuesioner dianalisis untuk melihat persentase dan kriteria validasi bahan Learning. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah metode numerik yang dirancang diktat digunakan metakognitif pendekatan dibantu pemrograman Matlab. This research aims to develop learning materials for numerical methods which be designed by Metacognitive approach assisted matlab programming . The development model of learning materials using Research and Development (R & D) methods who be developed by Borg and Gall and be combined with teaching development model Dick and Carey. The population for the product trials are UMSU students majoring in mathematics education. The instrument which be used is questionnaire . This products trials have three steps including personal gruops, small gruops and the field. Before products trials , the researcher does the expert validation trial for the content and design of learning materials for numerical methods using questionnaires according to the indicators that have been determined. Then the questionnaire be analysed to see the percentage and the validation criteria of Learning materials. The results of this research is a numerical method diktat be designed used metacognitive approach assisted matlab programming.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) Differences in lecturer organizational commitment based on gender on permanent lecturers at University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, 2). Differences in lecturer organizational commitment based on experience or period of work for permanent lecturers at University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara 3). Differences in lecturer organizational commitment based on interaction between gender and experience or period of work for permanent lecturers at University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara. The study used a comparative descriptive method that is to analyze organizational commitments that are bound variables based on two sample groups namely the characteristics of lecturers of both gender and experience. Data was collected from a sample of as many as 40 male lecturers and 38 female lecturers using likert scale model quesionaries. The selected research design is a factorial design that is 2 x 2. A 2 x 2 factorial design using ANAVA analysis. His research results showed that gender, experience and interaction co-determined commitment to the organization.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the effect of organizational culture on achievement motivation of teachers in SMP (Junior High School) Muhammadiyah in Medan. This research is a quantitative study with ex post facto research design that is the variables studied are not controlled and manipulated by researchers, but the facts are expressed based on the measurement of symptoms that have been held or test what will happen. ). This research is carried out in SMP (junior high school) Muhammadiyah in Medan, which consisted of 13 schools. The results shows that Organizational culture has a direct positive effect on achievement motivation of teachers in SMP (junior high school) Muhammadiyah in Medan. In other words, the stronger the organizational culture, the higher the achievement motivation of teachers in SMP (junior high school) Muhammadiyah in Medan.

Abstract

This activity is entitled Strengthening teachers in preparing quizziz-based student worksheets at SD Muhammadiyah 29 Sunggal, Deli Serdang Regency. The purpose of this activity is to provide reinforcement for teachers at SD Muhammadiyah 29 in implementing learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The strengthening in question is training and assistance in the management of Quizziz-assisted evaluation. This needs to be done in order to improve the quality of education in schools which are part of the Muhammadiyah organization's charitable efforts. The method used in this activity is training with the steps of preparation, implementation and evaluation. The success of this activity is not only on the teacher's understanding of using the Quizziz application during training, but is the application in each class to increase students' interest and motivation to learn.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the principal's transformational leadership in improving teacher performance and the principal's efforts in improving teacher performance at SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar, through four components of the principal's ability, namely intellectual stimulation, individual consideration, inspirational motivation and idealistic influence. This study uses a descriptive approach and qualitative methods with observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The results of the study describe that the principal of SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar in carrying out his leadership has implemented a transformational leadership style: (1) The principal of SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar has given freedom to teachers to inspire and collaborate in conveying new ideas that are creative and innovative in transfer knowledge to students. (2) The principal of SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar has been able to become a good listener for teachers who are facing problems and need attention and problem solving. (3) The principal of SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar has set an example of good behavior and generates respect and is able to foster trust from teachers who later on the teacher will be imitated by the students. (4) Principal SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar in acting, he always prioritizes the interests of the organization rather than personal interests.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of situational leadership style on teacher performance at SMP Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar, (1) to determine the effect of education and training on teacher performance, (2) to determine the effect of work motivation on teacher performance, (3) to determine the effect of leadership situational, (4) education and training, work motivation on teacher performance. The sample of this study amounted to 64 respondents, namely all teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar. This research uses a questionnaire distribution and the type of research with a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires. The analytical technique used is multiple linear regression analysis and using hypothesis testing; F-test, t-test and coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this multiple linear regression research show that the results of multiple linear regression obtain the equation: Y = 2.250 + 0.632X1 + 0.388X2 + 0.475X3. The results of hypothesis testing, Ha accepted and rejected H0. The results of the t-test of situational leadership style affect teacher performance, education and training affect teacher performance and work motivation affects teacher performance X1. Meanwhile, the results of the F-test, situational leadership style, education and training and work motivation simultaneously affect teacher performance. The result of the coefficient of determination (R2) states that X1, X2, and X3 contribute 46.8% to teacher performance while the remaining 53.2% is influenced by other variables.
