Abstract

Airplane Accident Assistance and Fire Fighting (PKP-PK) is a unit at the airport that is responsible for handling aviation emergencies and fires. This research discusses the influence of work discipline and work safety on the work effectiveness of PKP-PK unit employees at airports. Work discipline itself means attitudes and behavior that show compliance and adherence to the rules, norms, procedures and work ethic established in the workplace. Meanwhile Occupational safety itself is a series of actions, policies and procedures implemented to protect the health and safety of employees in the workplace. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of employee work discipline and work safety on the effectiveness of the PKP-PK work unit. This research also aims to determine the effectiveness of the work of firefighters regarding obstacles and the efforts made to overcome these obstacles.The method used in this research is library research, which involves collecting and analyzing data from various relevant literature sources. This research focuses on previous studies regarding work discipline and work safety on work effectiveness in the PKP-PK unit. The research results show that good work discipline and safety have a positive effect on the work effectiveness of the PKP-PK firefighting unit employees. Discipline that is embedded in the souls of every employee increases work effectiveness and enthusiasm for work, so that responses to emergency situations can be carried out quickly and effectively. Therefore, there is a need for better personnel training and more detailed safety equipment readiness to improve operational performance.

Abstract

The use of drones in responding to aircraft accidents in remote areas is an important innovation to improve response and efficiency in emergency situations. The purpose of this study is to explore the optimization of drone use in this context using qualitative research methods and a descriptive approach with interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research showed that drones have a variety of benefits, among others: These include fast and accurate monitoring of accident sites, detailed real-time data collection for situation assessment, and the ability to provide medical assistance and rescue equipment quickly and efficiently. In addition, drones can reach areas that are difficult for traditional rescue teams to access, thereby reducing the risk to rescue workers and speeding up the search for victims. However, some obstacles have also emerged, including limited communication infrastructure that can hinder drone operations in remote areas and difficulties in coordinating drone operators with rescue teams on the ground. Other technical challenges include the limited battery life of drones, extreme weather conditions that can affect drone performance, and the need for drone operators to use their drones. effectively and safely. Future research is suggested to focus on evaluating the effectiveness of drone use in various emergency situations, further development of drone technology, and analysis of the regulatory and legal aspects of drone use. The aim of this initiative is to ensure the optimal and safe use of drones in future rescue operations, especially in remote areas that are difficult to reach by traditional methods. Cooperation between the government, technology service providers and rescue teams is also essential to overcome barriers and maximize the potential of drone use.

Abstract

Transportasi udara merupakan pilihan utama masyarakat Indonesia dalam perjalanan antarkota. Untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan keselamatan penerbangan, penting untuk memiliki fasilitas penanganan darurat dan pemadam kebakaran yang sesuai dengan standar. Unit PKP-PK harus dilengkapi dengan peralatan yang memadai sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku untuk menjaga keselamatan di bandar udara. Sebuah artikel meninjau faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi operasional keselamatan penerbangan di bandar udara, fokusnya adalah perawatan fasilitas PKP-PK dan pelatihan personelnya. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk membentuk hipotesis tentang hubungan antara variabel-variabel tersebut, yang kemudian dapat digunakan dalam penelitian selanjutnya. Hasil tinjauan literatur ini menunjukkan bahwa baik perawatan fasilitas PKP-PK maupun pelatihan personelnya berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keselamatan penerbangan di bandar udara.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh keterampilan dan koordinasi tim personel Pertolongan Kecelakaan Penerbangan dan Pemadam Kebakaran (PKP-PK) terhadap penanganan kondisi darurat di bandara. Keterampilan teknis, medis, dan komunikasi yang dimiliki oleh personel PKP-PK berperan penting dalam respons cepat dan efektif terhadap insiden darurat, mengurangi risiko dan kerugian. Koordinasi yang baik antar tim dan penggunaan teknologi komunikasi canggih juga meningkatkan efektivitas penanganan darurat. Latihan rutin dan evaluasi berkelanjutan diperlukan untuk memastikan kesiapsiagaan personel PKP-PK dalam menghadapi berbagai skenario darurat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian literatur untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis teori-teori yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan dan koordinasi tim yang baik memiliki dampak positif signifikan terhadap penanganan kondisi darurat di bandara.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic country that needs transportation in order to run the economy. Air transportation is the safest transportation at the moment, because it applies very strict standard operating procedures (SOP) for its operations. One of the most important aspects of air transportation is how airport managers ensure flight safety, namely by the presence of PKP-PK units. This research aims to understand the relationship between the main and supporting PKP-PK vehicles as supporting aviation safety. By using the literature review method as a research method, using various sources from journals, articles and books as references both online and offline. The results of this literature review article are: 1) The main PKP-PK vehicles have an influence in supporting flight safety; 2) PKP-PK support vehicles have an influence in supporting flight safety. The main and supporting vehicles are crucial factors in determining the effectiveness of handling emergency situations at the airport. Continuous efforts to improve the quality and readiness of PKP-PK units are a very valuable investment in maintaining the reputation of aviation safety.

Abstract

Kebakaran di bandara merupakan ancaman serius yang dapat menimbulkan kerugian besar. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan dan simulasi penggunaan Alat Pemadam Api Ringan (APAR) terhadap pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kesiapsiagaan petugas keamanan di bandara. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan kajian pustaka (library research), dengan sumber dari Mendeley, Google Scholar, dan media online lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum pelatihan, tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan petugas keamanan berada pada level dasar. Setelah pelatihan, terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan mereka. Pelatihan dan simulasi terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan petugas keamanan bandara dalam menghadapi situasi darurat kebakaran, yang diamati melalui metode pre-test dan post-test. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan dan simulasi penggunaan APAR memberikan dampak positif yang besar terhadap pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kesiapsiagaan petugas keamanan bandara, meningkatkan keselamatan dan keamanan di bandara. Disarankan untuk meningkatkan frekuensi dan kualitas pelatihan, mengembangkan program simulasi yang lebih realistis, serta melakukan evaluasi dan feedback berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Maksud dari pelatihan ini adalah memberi personel Pertolongan Kecelakaan Penerbangan dan Pemadam Kebakaran (PKP-PK) di bandara pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap yang mereka butuhkan. Untuk materi teori, pendekatan berbasis kompetensi digunakan, sedangkan praktik dilakukan dengan instruktur dan simulator. Dengan peraturan yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan keselamatan dan keamanan penerbangan saat ini, keselamatan merupakan prioritas utama industri penerbangan. Unit ARFF di setiap bandara bertanggung jawab untuk menangani situasi darurat darat dan udara. Semua infrastruktur dan fasilitas bandara harus dipelihara dan diukur secara teratur untuk memastikan kinerjanya optimal. Metode kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi kondisi dan efektivitas Unit Pertolongan Kecelakaan Penerbangan dan Pemadam Kebakaran (PKP-PK) di bandara, yang bertanggung jawab atas keselamatan penerbangan.

Abstract

This research was conducted through the literature review method, by finding references in accordance with the research context. The purpose of this research is to summarize the current findings and provide an overview of how higher education institutions pursue academic excellence and industry relevance amid global challenges. The results revealed that higher education institutions are implementing innovations such as multidisciplinary curricula, expanded use of online learning, and university-industry collaboration initiatives to promote research and development. The research found that success in supporting excellence and relevance depends on institutions' ability to strategically adapt to external changes and utilize technological advances for innovative and responsive educational development. The implications include the need for dynamic policies and resource utilization to support an academic environment that encourages students' intellectual growth and professional competence.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the central issues faced in the integration of technology and collaborative learning in transforming higher education in the 21st century. The research method used is literature review. The findings in this study confirm that technology integration and collaborative learning have great potential in supporting the transformation of higher education, but there are several barriers that need to be overcome. First, the gap in access to technology is still evident among students from various economic and geographical backgrounds. Second, the issue of digital literacy among educators and students, which often does not keep pace with the technological advancements used in learning, requires more intensive and sustainable training programs. Third, data security and privacy issues that arise with the use of digital platforms, requiring stronger policy frameworks and more effective implementation of security technologies. Fourth, challenges in the design of effective assessments to measure collaborative learning outcomes and integrated technologies. This research suggests increased access to technology, better digital literacy training, stronger privacy policies, and the development of new assessment methods as key steps to optimize learning.

Abstract

Purpose: This study analyzes the impact of independent commissioners, leverage, and financial distress on earnings management in the transportation and logistics sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2018 – 2022. Research Methodology: The method employed was quantitative research, with the dependent variable being earnings management. The independent variables examined include independent commissioners, leverage, and financial distress. The study selected 85 companies using the purposive sampling method. Data analysis was conducted by testing the classical assumptions and hypotheses using multiple regression. Results: The findings indicate that independent commissioners do not influence earnings management, while leverage and financial distress have a significant negative impact on earnings management. Limitations: The study only utilizes 3 (three) independent variables: independent commissioners, leverage, and financial distress. The period considered was only 5 (five) years, from 2018 to 2022. This study focuses exclusively on the transportation and logistics sectors listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). Contribution: For investors, it is hoped that it can provide information to be more aler when reading or analyzing financial reports and for company management, it is hoped that it will be useful for internal parties in the company so that it can be used a basis for argumentation when making policy decisions.
