Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to identify the best implementation strategies in transformative Islamic education, explore transformative Islamic education activities that can inspire transformative learning, and analyze the transformation of Islamic education in Indonesia through curriculum transformation. Design/methods/approach – This research approach uses library research. Literature studies are obtained from various sources such as scientific journals, books, seminar papers, and related publications. The paradigm of data analysis in this research uses content analysis which includes data collection, reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. Findings – The researchers obtained three findings in this study. First, there are two best implementation strategies when implementing transformative education: A). To offer critical thinking opportunities b). To offer opportunities to act from a new perspective. Second, there are five transformative educational activities that can inspire transformative learning, including: a). Job shadowing; B). Scenario-based education; C). Cultural adaptation in the workplace; D). Career change; and e). Establish cooperation with various educational institutions. Third, one of the education transformations that has been carried out in Indonesia is by transforming the curriculum starting in 1947, 1964, 1968, 1973, 1975, 1984, 1994, 1997, 2004, 2006, 2013, and current curriculum. The independent learning (self-regulated learning) curriculum has reached its 22nd episode Research Implications/Limitations – Data sources are limited to online and offline scientific literature. Future researchers can use in-depth interview and observation techniques to make the results more reliable Originality/value – The findings of this study provide an overview of implementation strategies and transformative Islamic education activities in a new perspective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi penerapan game edukasi dalam pembelajaran biologi di MAN Tulungagung dan dampaknya terhadap minat siswa. Game edukasi diperkenalkan untuk membuat pembelajaran biologi lebih menarik dan interaktif. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif, data diambil melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan siswa, serta analisis data hasil belajar. Teknik Analisis Data dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah Transkripsi Data, Koding (Coding), Identifikasi Tema, Penelaahan Tema, dan Interpretasi dan Penulisan Temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa game edukasi secara dapat meningkatkan minat siswa dalam pelajaran biologi. Elemen permainan, seperti tantangan dan simulasi, berhasil memotivasi siswa dan membuat materi pelajaran lebih menarik. Penerapan game edukasi juga meningkatkan partisipasi dan interaksi siswa selama proses pembelajaran, dengan siswa lebih aktif dalam diskusi dan kolaborasi kelompok. Untuk memaksimalkan manfaatnya, diperlukan dukungan teknologi yang memadai, pelatihan guru, dan desain game yang relevan dengan kurikulum. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan evaluasi berkelanjutan dan pengembangan lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan efektivitas game edukasi dalam pendidikan.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi manajemen pendidikan di MTsN 1 Pasuruan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Fokus utama penelitian meliputi pengembangan kurikulum merdeka berbasis komunitas, penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, pendekatan kolaboratif antar guru, serta evaluasi berkala dan umpan balik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan subjek penelitian adalah guru PAI. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan, mereduksi, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kurikulum merdeka berbasis komunitas efektif dalam memastikan materi ajar relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa dan perkembangan zaman. Penggunaan teknologi mempermudah penyajian materi dengan cara yang menarik dan interaktif, serta meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Pendekatan kolaboratif antar guru membantu dalam mengembangkan metode pengajaran yang lebih baik dan memperkuat hubungan kerja yang harmonis. Evaluasi berkala dan umpan balik yang konstruktif memungkinkan perbaikan kelemahan serta perencanaan pelatihan yang sesuai. Secara keseluruhan strategi manajemen pendidikan di MTsN 1 Pasuruan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran dan kompetensi guru, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan siswa. Abstract. This research examines the education management strategy at MTsN 1 Pasuruan which aims to improve the competency of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. The main focus of the research includes the development of a community-based independent curriculum, the use of technology in learning, a collaborative approach between teachers, as well as regular evaluation and feedback. The research method used is qualitative, with the research subjects being PAI teachers. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis is carried out by collecting, reducing, presenting data and drawing conclusions. Research findings show that community-based independent curriculum development is effective in ensuring teaching materials are relevant to student needs and current developments. The use of technology makes it easier to present material in an interesting and interactive way, and increases student engagement. A collaborative approach between teachers helps in developing better teaching methods and strengthens harmonious working relationships. Regular evaluation and constructive feedback allow for improvement of weaknesses as well as planning appropriate training. Overall, the education management strategy at MTsN 1 Pasuruan has proven to be effective in improving the quality of teaching and teacher competency, as well as creating a learning environment that is dynamic and responsive to student needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan pendekatan multikultural dalam pengajaran sastra di MA Darunnajah Trenggalek dan dampaknya terhadap pemahaman antarbudaya siswa. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas integrasi karya sastra dari berbagai budaya dalam kurikulum, respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran tersebut, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam proses pengajaran. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan dengan mengumpulkan data melalui observasi kelas, wawancara dengan guru dan siswa, serta dokumentasi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan karya sastra multikultural secara signifikan memperluas wawasan siswa tentang keragaman budaya dan meningkatkan sikap toleransi serta penghargaan terhadap perbedaan budaya. Respons siswa bervariasi, dengan sebagian menunjukkan antusiasme dan keterlibatan tinggi, sementara yang lain mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konteks budaya yang baru. Tantangan utama termasuk kesulitan menjelaskan konteks budaya asing dan keterbatasan pengetahuan awal siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan multikultural dalam pengajaran sastra berkontribusi positif terhadap pemahaman antarbudaya, namun memerlukan strategi pengajaran yang lebih adaptif dan dukungan tambahan untuk siswa agar dapat diimplementasikan secara efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui langkah evaluasi dan monitoring program pengakuan dan reward, metode yang efektif, strategi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program reward yang lebih beragam dan memotivasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Pengumpulan data dengan cara mencari sumber dari berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal, dan riset-riset yang sudah ada baik secara offline maupun online. Model analisis data ini terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan evaluasi program guru membutuhkan langkah-langkah: menentukan tujuan, kriteria evaluasi, pengumpulan, analisis data, evaluasi dampak, identifikasi kelemahan, dan perbaikan melibatkan partisipasi guru. Metode evaluasi efektif meliputi survei kepuasan guru, analisis kinerja, wawancara, observasi, evaluasi hasil siswa, analisis retensi, partisipasi dalam pelatihan, dan benchmarking. Strategi meningkatkan pengakuan guru termasuk penjelasan kriteria, partisipasi dalam perencanaan, pengakuan berkala, variasi bentuk, sosialisasi, dan dukungan budaya pengakuan. Evaluasi berkelanjutan, kolaborasi, dan pengakuan untuk berbagai disiplin diperlukan. Program reward yang beragam dan memotivasi dapat dicapai dengan konsultasi, diversifikasi jenis reward, personalisasi, pemberian berkala berdasarkan kinerja, rencana inovasi, kolaborasi komunitas dan industri, serta promosi transparansi dan objektivitas.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using flashcards as a memorization aid for Hadith in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject at MA Al Chodidjah Tebuireng, Cukir, Jombang. The research method employed is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The research subjects include teachers and 10th-grade students who participated in the learning process using flashcards over one semester. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed using a thematic approach. The research findings indicate that the use of flashcards significantly enhances students' ability to memorize Hadith. Students reported feeling more motivated and engaged in the memorization process with the help of flashcards, which made it easier for them to remember the Hadith material. Additionally, the use of flashcards improved interaction between teachers and students and provided opportunities for students to learn independently. The study also identified some challenges in the implementation of flashcards, such as limited time for creation and routine use. Therefore, further development efforts are needed, such as the provision of a flashcard bank and teacher training to enhance the effectiveness of learning. This study concludes that flashcards are an effective tool in the Hadith memorization process and have a positive impact on students' learning motivation. Recommendations from this study include the broader integration of flashcards into the curriculum and the provision of adequate support for teachers in their use.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi dan revolusi industri 4.0, strategi pengembangan SDM di lembaga pendidikan Islam menjadi semakin penting. Lembaga pendidikan Islam perlu mempersiapkan para peserta didik dan tenaga kependidikan untuk menghadapi tantangan di masa depan dengan keterampilan dan kemampuan yang memadai. Oleh karena itu, lembaga pendidikan Islam perlu mengembangkan strategi pengembangan SDM yang efektif dan berkelanjutan, dengan melibatkan semua pihak yang terkait dan dengan dukungan sumber daya yang memadai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan melakukan analisis terhadap studi literatur terkait strategi pengembangan SDM di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Studi literatur diperoleh dari berbagai sumber seperti jurnal ilmiah, buku, makalah seminar, dan publikasi terkait lainnya yang terkait dengan topik penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Berbagai strategi pengembangan SDM yang dapat dilakukan oleh lembaga pendidikan islam diantaranya pelatihan dan pengembangan, program magang, beasiswa dan penghargaan, program mentorship, peningkatan kesejahteraan SDM, kolaborasi dengan lembaga lain, evaluasi kinerja SDM, pembinaan spiritual, implementasi teknologi, dan pengembangan inovasi. Dengan adanya strategi pengembangan SDM yang tepat, lembaga pendidikan Islam dapat memiliki SDM yang berkualitas dan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikan Islam

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the business management strategies employed by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pungpungan Village, Bojonegoro, with the goal of enhancing their competitiveness in the market. Utilizing a qualitative research approach, the study investigates the key factors influencing the success of local MSMEs and the challenges they face in a competitive market environment. Data was gathered through in-depth interviews with MSME owners, direct field observations, and document analysis, which focused on local government policies for MSME development. The results show that effective business management strategies adopted by successful MSMEs include product innovation, the use of digital marketing platforms, and the enhancement of human resource capacity through training and mentorship programs. Additionally, support from local governments and business communities has been identified as a vital factor in improving MSMEs’ access to capital and wider markets. Despite these positive strategies, the study also highlights significant challenges such as technological constraints, low levels of financial literacy, and difficulties in establishing a broad distribution network. These obstacles hinder the optimal growth and competitiveness of MSMEs. The research concludes that collaboration among government, academic institutions, and business actors is essential in creating a supportive ecosystem that ensures the sustainable growth of MSMEs. The findings of this study offer valuable insights for policymakers and can serve as a reference for formulating strategic policies aimed at enhancing the development of MSMEs, especially in rural areas.

Abstract

Purpose - This study examines teachers' roles in enhancing students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at MAN 2 Tulungagung. It explores teaching strategies, challenges faced, and supporting factors contributing to increased motivation. Design/Methods/Approach - A qualitative approach involved observation, document analysis, and in-depth interviews with six key informants: PAI teachers, students, school principals, parents, and school psychologists. Data analysis followed qualitative procedures, including data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Findings - PAI teachers use group discussions, project-based learning, and technology integration to boost motivation. Teaching methods align with Self-Determination Theory (SDT) by linking lessons to students' daily lives. However, challenges like low student interest and time constraints persist. School support through training, resources, and parental involvement significantly aids motivation. Psychological factors influence learning outcomes, including self-confidence, social support, and material relevance. Research Implications/Limitations - This study highlights the importance of collaboration between teachers, schools, parents, and psychologists in fostering motivation. Findings are specific to MAN 2 Tulungagung and may not generalize to other contexts. Future research could examine similar factors in different settings. Originality/Value - This research provides new insights into the connection between teaching strategies, psychological factors, and stakeholder collaboration in religious education. It emphasizes integrating SDT principles with practical teaching methods and institutional support.

Abstract

Modern education is currently undergoing a significant transformation with the integration of technology in various aspects of learning. Technological innovations, such as online learning platforms, computer-based applications, and the use of technologies like virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), have introduced new, more flexible, and interactive approaches to education. This study aims to explore technological innovations and approaches in modern education, as well as their impacts on the learning and teaching process. The research employs a library research method, analyzing various relevant literatures on the application of technology in education. Data was collected through a literature review of journal articles, books, and academic publications discussing this topic. The research findings indicate that technology has brought positive impacts to education, including improvements in access, interactivity, and personalized learning. Additionally, new approaches such as blended learning, gamification, and adaptive learning are increasingly being implemented to meet students' individual needs. However, challenges such as the digital divide and resistance to change remain significant barriers that need to be addressed. This study concludes that, while technology offers various benefits, its implementation requires adequate support from all relevant stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
