Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of product quality and social media on purchasing decisions with brand image as an intervening variable for iPhone products (A Case Study of iPhone Product Users Among Students at Universitas Putra Indonesia "YPTK" Padang). The population and sample of this study were iPhone users at UPI "YPTK" Padang. Primary data were collected through questionnaires and then analyzed using SEM-PLS (SmartPLS 4.0) to test the measurement and structural models. The results of the study found that Product Quality has a positive and significant effect on Brand Image. Social Media has a positive and significant effect on Brand Image. Product Quality has a positive and significant effect on Product Purchase Decisions. Social Media has a positive but insignificant effect on Purchase Decisions. Brand Image has a positive but insignificant effect on Purchase Decisions. Product Quality has a positive but insignificant effect on Purchase Decisions through Brand Image. Social Media has a positive but insignificant effect on Purchase Decisions through Brand Image

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic role of SIINas in supporting industrial data reporting, particularly following the implementation of quarterly reporting obligations as stipulated in Minister of Industry Regulation Number 13 of 2025. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a literature review method. The data sources consist of official documents issued by the Ministry of Industry, including Ministerial Regulation Number 13 of 2025, SIINas account registration guidelines, and technical guidelines for quarterly production reporting. Data were collected through systematic document review, careful reading, and identification of information relevant to the research objectives. The data analysis process involved data reduction, descriptive presentation, and interpretation to draw conclusions based on the examined regulatory and technical documents. The findings indicate that SIINas plays a significant role in improving data standardization, accuracy, and integration within the national industrial sector. The system enhances data consistency and sustainability while promoting transparency and accountability in industrial reporting. Therefore, SIINas functions not only as an administrative reporting tool but also as a strategic information system supporting evidence-based industrial policy in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS) in improving service quality for consumers at Songket Unggan MSMEs in Sijunjung Regency, West Sumatra. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach to gain an in-depth understanding of MIS implementation within the enterprise. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with business owners and consumers, direct observation of service and operational processes, and documentation of transaction records and digital promotional media. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and systematic conclusion drawing to obtain a comprehensive overview of the effectiveness of information system implementation in enhancing service quality. The results indicate that the adoption of digital transaction recording, social media promotion, and non-cash payment systems has improved service speed, transaction accuracy, and customer satisfaction. However, the implementation still faces challenges related to limited digital literacy and supporting infrastructure. Therefore, improving digital competencies and strengthening local government support are essential to optimize MIS implementation.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the digital era encourages the retail sector to optimize the use of Management Information Systems (MIS) to improve operational efficiency and competitiveness. Citra Swalayan Muaro, as one of the local retail businesses, faces increasingly intense competition and therefore requires an integrated and accurate information management system to support transaction processes, inventory management, and the preparation of reports quickly and accurately. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method to analyze the implementation of the existing system. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the implementation of MIS is able to increase transaction speed, minimize errors in stock recording, and provide more accurate and real-time sales information. This improvement in operational efficiency contributes to strengthening competitiveness through more responsive services, more effective cost control, and data-based decision making. However, system optimization still requires improved integration between departments and the strengthening of human resource competencies so that the use of technology can be maximized.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of mental health and work-related conflict on employee performance, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at the West Sumatra Provincial Transportation Agency. This study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0 as the analysis tool. The population and sample were 76 West Sumatra Provincial Transportation Agency employees. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to West Sumatra Provincial Transportation Agency employees who had worked directly at the agency.  The results showed a positive and insignificant effect between Mental Health and Job Satisfaction. There was a positive and insignificant effect between Work-related Conflict and Job Satisfaction. There was a positive and significant effect between Mental Health and Employee Performance. There was a positive and significant effect between Work-related Conflict and Employee Performance. There was a negative and significant effect between Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance. Job Satisfaction did not mediate the effect of Mental Health on employee performance. Job Satisfaction did not mediate the effect of Work-related Conflict on Employee Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the principal’s leadership style and the E-Performance System influence teacher performance with work discipline as an intervening variable at Junior High School 24 Padang. The study used SPSS version 23 for data processing. The population consisted of 53 employees, and a saturated sampling technique was applied. Data were collected using documentation techniques. The data analysis employed outer loading tests, inner model analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results show that the principal’s leadership style has an effect on teachers’ work discipline at SMP Negeri 24 Padang, while the E-Performance System does not have an effect on work discipline. The principal’s leadership style also influences teacher performance, whereas the E-Performance System does not affect teacher performance. Work discipline influences teacher performance. Work discipline mediates the effect of the E-Performance System on teacher performance. Work discipline does not mediate the effect of the principal’s leadership style on teacher performance...

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong perusahaan untuk mengelola aktivitas operasional secara lebih efektif dan efisien melalui penerapan Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM). Namun, implementasi SIM tidak selalu memberikan hasil optimal apabila tidak didukung oleh kesiapan organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran implementasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas operasional perusahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur terhadap jurnal ilmiah nasional dan internasional lima tahun terakhir yang relevan dengan topik SIM dan efektivitas operasional. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi SIM mampu meningkatkan integrasi data, kualitas informasi, produktivitas karyawan, serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan operasional yang lebih cepat dan akurat. Namun demikian, keberhasilan implementasi SIM sangat dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan sumber daya manusia dan dukungan manajemen puncak. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan perlu memperhatikan aspek teknologi, manusia, dan proses bisnis secara terpadu agar SIM dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan efisiensi operasional.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of promotion and price on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction as an intervening variable at “Foreshtree Coffee” Dharmasraya. This research employs a quantitative approach, and the sampling technique is based on Ferdinand’s method, as the population size is unknown. A total of 100 respondents were obtained. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the study are as follows: a) There is a positive and significant effect of promotion on customer satisfaction at Foreshtree Coffee Dharmasraya. b) There is no positive and significant effect of price on customer satisfaction at Foreshtree Coffee Dharmasraya. c) There is a positive and significant effect of promotion on customer loyalty at Foreshtree Coffee Dharmasraya. d) There is a negative and insignificant effect of motivation on customer loyalty at Foreshtree Coffee Dharmasraya. e) There is a positive and insignificant effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty at Foreshtree Coffee Dharmasraya. f) Customer satisfaction mediates the relationship between promotion and customer loyalty. g) Customer satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between price and customer loyalty.
