Abstract

BUMDesa Catu Kwero Sedana Pecatu was formed through Pecatu Village Regulation Number 10 of 2014 as a strategic effort to strengthen the local economy. Operations began in 2017 with a waste management business unit, and in 2022 expanded with a trade and services unit. As legality is strengthened (legal entity 2022, NIB 2024), the need for information technology (IT) governance becomes increasingly important to support efficiency, transparency and accountability. However, there has never been an in-depth study of IT readiness, effectiveness, and risk, so an IT management and governance audit is needed. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method at BUMDesa Catu Kwero Sedana Pecatu. Data was obtained through document analysis, interviews, and observations. The evaluation framework refers to COBIT and the maturity model to assess five main aspects: IT policies and procedures, organizational structure and IT HR capabilities, IT maturity level, IT risk identification, and internal control effectiveness. The audit showed that the IT maturity level was at Level 1 - Initial (average score 0.6) with practices that were ad hoc, lacked documentation, and were not integrated. Significant risks were found such as delays in application development, HPP calculation errors due to system limitations, absence of backup policies, dependence on vendors, and potential data privacy violations. Internal controls are still weak in the aspects of system security, data backup, access authorization, and transaction monitoring. Recommendations include the preparation of an IT Master Plan, establishment of a specialized IT unit, HR training, implementation of information security policies, and implementation of an integrated information system aligned with BUMDesa's business strategy.

Abstract

This study examines public responses on X to the 3-Kg LPG retail ban implemented on February 1, 2025, and revoked on February 4, 2025, which caused widespread shortages, long queues, and limited access, particularly for citizens living far from official distribution points. A total of 2,524 Indonesian-language tweets were collected via crawling and systematically processed through text cleaning, tokenization, normalization, stopwords removal, and stemming, followed by automatic labeling using the Indonesian Sentiment (InSet) Lexicon. After removing 229 neutral tweets, 1,405 tweets (61.2%) were classified as negative and 890 tweets (38.8%) as positive, with the study focusing on these two sentiment classes. Text features were extracted using TF-IDF, and classification was conducted using a linear-kernel Support Vector Machine (C = 0.1) with an 80:20 train-test split. The model achieved an overall accuracy of 84%, with precision, recall, and F1-score of 0.82, 0.94, and 0.88 for the negative class, and 0.87, 0.68, and 0.76 for the positive class. Results indicate that negative sentiment was dominated by criticism related to LPG shortages and insufficient policy communication, while positive sentiment reflected user relief over restored supply and hopes for fairer distribution in the future. These findings suggest that revoking the ban did not fully restore public perception, highlighting the necessity for more effective policy dissemination and stricter monitoring of 3-Kg LPG distribution. The study also emphasizes the importance of leveraging social media, particularly X, as a real-time source for monitoring public opinion and evaluating the effectiveness of energy distribution policies in Indonesia.

Abstract

Education is very important in supporting the intelligence of each individual, from an early age it starts to recognize many things in each level of education. Knowledge and abilities continue to develop until determining interest in the right major according to the values, abilities, desires and character of each individual student. In reality, the process of determining majors, especially at the high school level, is carried out in grade X, but this process can be done when students register, for example at Dharma Praja Denpasar High School. There are assessment criteria used in the process of determining students' major interests, namely the Average Report Card Score (C1), Science Test Score (C2), Social Science Test Score (C3) and Psychological Test Score. Applying the Yager model so that the process of determining the weight of the criteria can be done with the concept of a pairwise comparison matrix, another advantage is the process of calculating the intersection of alternative values on each alternative so that it can produce suggestions for majoring interests. The study used 5 alternative students with suggestions for majoring in science and social studies. The results showed that the Yager model could provide recommendations for the best majoring options for 5 alternatives, namely alternative A1 for science majors with a value of 2.19067, while alternatives A2, A3, A4 and A5 obtained recommendations for social studies majors. Features of the web-based major determination decision support system produce the ability to manage alternative data, criteria, alternative values, majoring processes, final results and there are test features that students can do on the system, making it easier for students to make majors and schools to recapitulate the process of determining majors. The results of blackbox testing for a total of 8 scenarios show that the system functionality is running well.

Abstract

Abstract

Background: The emergence of the hashtag #BoikotTrans7 on social media was triggered by public reaction to the broadcast of the “Xpose Uncensored” program on Trans7, which was perceived as offensive to the dignity of Islamic boarding schools (Pesantren) and religious figures. This issue quickly developed into widespread public discourse on digital platforms, particularly in YouTube comments. Objective: This study aims to analyze public sentiment on YouTube to identify patterns of opinion and public response regarding the #BoikotTrans7 controversy. Methods: Data were collected using the YouTube Data API v3 through a data crawling process from October 15 to December 4, 2025, resulting in 10,490 comments. Sentiment analysis was conducted using the Naïve Bayes classifier with TF-IDF (Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency) feature extraction. To improve model performance, class imbalance was addressed using the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE), and hyperparameter optimization was performed using GridSearchCV. Results: The Naïve Bayes model achieved an accuracy of 78.46% in classifying sentiments into positive, negative, and neutral categories. The findings indicate that positive sentiment dominated YouTube comments, largely originating from users supporting Trans7 rather than boycott supporters. This suggests a discrepancy between viral hashtag narratives and actual public opinion on YouTube. Word cloud visualization highlights dominant keywords such as “Pesantren,” “Kyai,” “Santri,” and “maaf,” indicating that religious and cultural elements strongly shape the discourse surrounding the controversy. Conclusion: The study provides insights for broadcasting evaluation and contributes to the development of sentiment analysis and text mining methodologies in social media research.
