Abstract

Several research results on the capital market in Indonesia fall into the category of market efficiency in the weak form, so the results of previous research do not reflect the theory of capital market efficiency in the strong form. The purpose of this research is to analyze and answer the existence of inconsistencies in the results of previous research as well as the phenomenon of stock returns which are not as described in capital market theory in strong form. This is what prompted researchers to do it again using different time series and cross-sectional data. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with a panel data multiple regression analysis method using 10 sample companies that are members of 50 large capitalization companies for 7 years. This research formula is to maximize the Stock Return value through leverage as an intervening variable using research objects of companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Two research models are integrated into one and each goes through a model selection test stage, namely the Chow Test, Hausman Test, and Lagrange Multiplier Test using the eviews12 application. The results of this research explain that increasing ROA can have an impact on reducing Leverage (DER) and through DER it can explain the impact on Stock Returns, but ROA cannot directly explain Stock Returns. It is hoped that these results can help as a guide for investors to get maximum Stock Returns.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to explore the gap between work expectations and actual workplace realities from the perspective of young Indonesian workers in the offshore oil and gas industry, focusing on how such discrepancies affect job satisfaction, psychological well-being, and organizational loyalty. Research Methodology: An exploratory qualitative approach was employed, involving semi-structured in-depth interviews with 15 offshore workers aged 22–35, located in Natuna and the Java Sea. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis framework, which enabled systematic identification of recurring themes related to expectations, psychological stress, and retention. Results: Findings reveal that young workers’ expectations are shaped by media portrayals and institutional narratives that glamorize offshore work. However, the realities long shifts, isolation, and psychological strain often lead to disillusionment. Many participants experienced cognitive dissonance, reduced job satisfaction, and a strong intention to resign. The study also uncovered a psychological entrapment phenomenon, where workers remained not out of satisfaction but due to a lack of viable alternatives. Conclusions: The Expectation-Disconfirmation Theory and Psychological Contract Theory effectively explain the disconnect between expectations and job experiences. In offshore contexts, misalignment can significantly impact worker loyalty and mental health. Limitations: The study is limited in sample size (15 participants) and geographic scope (Natuna and Java Sea). It also lacks managerial or HR perspectives, restricting organizational-level analysis. Contribution: This study offers practical implications for HR management in high-risk industries, emphasizing realistic recruitment, mental preparedness, and integrated psychological support. It also contributes novel insights into the concept of psychological entrapment in early-career professionals.

Abstract

Purpose: Optimization of operational management within the Law Enforcement Work Unit (Satker Gakkum) of the Indonesian National Police is crucial for enhancing effective investigative and enforcement capabilities. This study evaluates the operational management status in Satker Gakkum and offers ideas to enhance operational performance in facilitating law enforcement. Research Methodology: This qualitative study employed a descriptive analysis. Data were gathered via comprehensive interviews with Satker Gakkum members, direct observation, and document analysis. The study's findings reveal that the primary issues encountered include inadequate coordination across units, insufficient human resources and technology, and the ineffectiveness of standard operating procedures (SOPs). Results: These findings underscore the necessity for enhancements in resource management, the implementation of contemporary information technology, and the regular assessment and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs). Optimizing operational management is crucial for the effectiveness of investigations and law enforcement. This study underscores the significance of enhancing operational capacity through training, upgrading infrastructure, and fostering collaboration across relevant authorities. Conclusions: The proposed solutions enhance human resource quality, fortify information systems, and refine standard operating procedures to better adapt to investigations and law enforcement dynamics. Limitations: The qualitative methodology of this study, which focuses on gathering detailed information from a small sample within Satker Gakkum POLRI, limits its scope. Thus, the results may not apply to all Indonesian law enforcement agencies. Contributions: This study can help policymakers, police, and researchers enhance public safety institutions.

Abstract

This study examines the strategic mechanisms that drive traditional travel agencies to pivot their business models in response to relentless digital disintermediation. By integrating Service-Dominant (S-D) Logic and Dynamic Capabilities theory, the research evaluates how internal orientations and collaborative processes enable traditional intermediaries to reclaim market relevance as Experience Architects. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from 200 owners, directors, and senior managers of traditional travel agencies across Indonesia's primary tourism hubs. To ensure statistical rigor, the sample size was validated using G*Power 3.1, confirming its adequacy for detecting medium effect sizes within the complex structural model. The proposed structural model was assessed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS), supplemented by an Importance-Performance Map Analysis (IPMA) to identify critical strategic priorities. The results demonstrate that while Digital Capability serves as a necessary operational foundation, it is not the primary driver of a strategic transformation. Instead, Value Co-Creation and Strategic Flexibility are found to be the dominant catalysts for a successful Business Model Pivot. Specifically, Value Co-Creation exerts a substantial influence, reinforcing the argument that a successful pivot is a relational achievement rooted in human-tech synergy rather than a purely technological one. Furthermore, the results confirm that a structured Business Model Pivot leads to a significant and sustained Competitive Advantage. This research contributes to the tourism management literature by providing a novel framework that bridges entrepreneurial intent with co-creative execution. It offers a practical roadmap for traditional travel agencies to transition from legacy ticketing brokers to specialized experience architects within a smarter tourism ecosystem.

Abstract

Gastronomic tourism has evolved from a supplementary activity into a primary driver of destination satisfaction and tourist behavior. Grounded in the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) framework, this research examines the mechanical transition from internal psychological traits to sustained destination loyalty. Specifically, the study investigates the structural relationships between Food Involvement (FI), Perceived Authenticity (PA), Gastronomic Sensory Appeal (GSA), Destination Experiential Performance (DEP), Gastronomic Place Attachment (GPA), and Revisit Intention (RI). Utilizing a quantitative, cross-sectional design, data were collected from 300 tourists in Bandung, Indonesia, and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that all seven hypothesized relationships are statistically supported. Food involvement serves as a potent internal stimulus that dictates the intensity of both cognitive authenticity and sensory appraisals. These organismic states collectively determine the experiential performance of the destination, which functions as the primary bridge to forming emotional place attachment and revisit intentions. Notably, the findings reveal that while sensory appeal provides physiological gratification, the cognitive validation of authenticity remains the dominant driver of experiential performance for highly involved tourists, functioning as an application of their gastronomic literacy. These insights provide a strategic framework for Destination Management Organizations (DMOs) to leverage culinary heritage as a tool for building destination brand equity and long-term tourist loyalty.
