Abstract

Zakat profesi merupakan salah satu isu fikih kontemporer yang muncul seiring dengan perubahan struktur ekonomi masyarakat Muslim modern, di mana sumber penghasilan tidak lagi didominasi oleh sektor pertanian dan perdagangan, melainkan oleh profesi dengan sistem gaji dan honorarium. Perubahan ini memunculkan perdebatan di kalangan ulama mengenai status hukum, metode perhitungan, serta waktu pembayaran zakat profesi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara kritis pro dan kontra zakat profesi dengan menelusuri dasar normatif, argumentasi fikih, dan pendekatan metodologis yang digunakan oleh masing-masing pandangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitik, melalui penelaahan terhadap Al-Qur’an, hadis, karya-karya fikih klasik dan kontemporer, serta fatwa lembaga keagamaan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan pandangan mengenai zakat profesi berakar pada perbedaan dalam memahami karakter zakat sebagai ibadah tauqifi, penerapan syarat nisab dan haul, serta penggunaan pendekatan maqashid al-syariah. Kelompok penentang menekankan keteguhan pada batasan nash, sedangkan kelompok pendukung menekankan aspek keadilan sosial dan relevansi kontekstual. Implikasi dari kajian ini menegaskan bahwa zakat profesi merupakan persoalan ijtihadiyah yang terbuka, sehingga penerapannya memerlukan sikap proporsional, dialogis, dan kontekstual agar zakat tetap berfungsi sebagai instrumen keadilan sosial dalam masyarakat Muslim modern.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an secara tartil dan sesuai kaidah tajwid merupakan kompetensi dasar yang harus dimiliki santri di lembaga pendidikan Al-Qur’an. Namun, dalam praktiknya masih ditemukan santri yang mengalami kesulitan dalam penguasaan makharijul huruf, hukum tajwid, dan panjang-pendek bacaan. Kondisi tersebut menuntut penerapan metode pembelajaran yang sistematis dan sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan metode An-Nahdliyah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an santri di TPQ Al Falah Siwalan Pekalongan, meliputi proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, serta hasil yang dicapai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode An-Nahdliyah mampu meningkatkan kelancaran bacaan santri, ketepatan pelafalan huruf, serta pemahaman dan penerapan hukum tajwid secara lebih konsisten. Selain itu, metode ini juga berdampak positif terhadap motivasi, kedisiplinan, dan kepercayaan diri santri dalam membaca Al-Qur’an. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa metode An-Nahdliyah efektif digunakan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur’an di TPQ dan lembaga pendidikan Al-Qur’an nonformal lainnya untuk meningkatkan kualitas bacaan santri secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Sustainable development is a global agenda that requires the harmonization of environmental, social, and economic aspects to ensure the sustainability of current and future generations. In Indonesia, challenges such as deforestation and social inequality demonstrate the need to increase sustainability awareness through education, especially history learning. This article aims to examine the role of history learning in strengthening awareness of sustainable development. The article was prepared using a qualitative approach through literature study and content analysis, reviewing academic literature relevant to history education and sustainability issues. The results of the review show that historical materials, such as the exploitation of resources in the colonial era, can be integrated with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to improve students' understanding of sustainability aspects. Context-based approaches and project-based learning can be proven to be capable of encouraging students' critical thinking and proactive attitudes towards environmental and social issues. However, the implementation of this approach is constrained by curriculum density, limited teacher training, and lack of learning resources. Therefore, curriculum revision and teacher training based on Education for Sustainable Development is needed to optimize the role of history education in supporting sustainable development in Indonesia.

Abstract

Permasalahan rendahnya kesadaran hidup sehat dan pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar kesehatan masih banyak dijumpai pada anak usia sekolah dasar, khususnya di wilayah pedesaan. Kondisi ini menunjukkan perlunya upaya edukatif yang terstruktur dan kontekstual untuk menanamkan kebiasaan hidup sehat sejak dini. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa SDN Kemplong Pekalongan mengenai perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat serta memperkenalkan pemanfaatan apotek hidup melalui kegiatan edukasi dan praktik langsung. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan edukasi kesehatan dan gizi, penanaman apotek hidup, serta evaluasi dan pemantauan dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan edukatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap pentingnya kebersihan diri, konsumsi makanan sehat, serta pemanfaatan tanaman obat sederhana di lingkungan sekolah. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan antusiasme dan keterlibatan aktif dalam setiap rangkaian kegiatan. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi edukasi kesehatan dan pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan efektif dalam membentuk kebiasaan hidup sehat dan berpotensi dikembangkan sebagai program berkelanjutan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The quality of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) learning in Islamic Junior High Schools (Madrasah Tsanawiyah), particularly at MTs Al-Utsmani Kajen, Pekalongan, faces challenges due to low student interest, who consider fiqh to be repetitive material, and limited infrastructure. This article aims to analyze the pedagogical competence of fiqh teachers in creating active, innovative, creative, effective, and enjoyable learning (PAIKEM). This article uses a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, involving the principal, Islamic religious education teachers, and students as informants. The results show that fiqh teachers have good pedagogical competence in understanding student characteristics, applying learning theories, developing curricula, and using engaging teaching strategies, such as digital media, to increase student participation. However, limited facilities and low student active involvement hinder the full implementation of PAIKEM. Internal factors, such as teacher motivation and educational background, as well as external factors, including principal support and professional development, significantly influence teaching effectiveness. Strengthening these factors through the integration of technology, contextual strategies, and systemic support is necessary to create meaningful, inspiring Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) learning that is able to shape students' Islamic character in accordance with current demands.

Abstract

The implementation of the Independent Curriculum demands a more contextual, participatory, and student-centered approach to Islamic Religious Education (ISE). One learning model deemed relevant to these demands is Problem-Based Learning (PBL). This study aims to analyze the implementation of the PBL model in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning under the Independent Curriculum at SMA Negeri 3 Pekalongan, encompassing aspects of planning, implementation, evaluation, and supporting and inhibiting factors. This study employed a qualitative approach with field research. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, learning observations, and documentation of teaching modules. Data analysis employed interactive analysis techniques that included data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, along with data validity testing through source and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of PBL in ISE learning has been implemented systematically and in line with the principles of the Independent Curriculum, enhancing students' activeness, understanding, and critical thinking skills. The main supporting factors include curriculum flexibility, teacher competence, and the availability of learning resources, while inhibiting factors include low student self-confidence, suboptimal group cooperation, and less than conducive classroom conditions.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has given rise to e-commerce as a new form of muamalah activity that is increasingly being used by society, including Muslims. The shift in transaction patterns from conventional to digital has given rise to various legal issues that require serious study from an Islamic legal perspective. This article aims to analyze the phenomenon of e-commerce from an Islamic perspective by examining the legal basis, reasons for permissibility, and the limitations of sharia that regulate it. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach, through an analysis of classical and contemporary fiqh literature, books of schools of thought, fatwas of scholars, and academic sources relevant to digital buying and selling practices. The results of the study indicate that e-commerce is essentially permissible in Islam as long as it meets the pillars and requirements for a valid sale and purchase, such as clarity of the object, price, contract, and the willingness of the seller and buyer. Differences in views between schools of thought regarding the technicalities of the contract and the form of the transaction do not change the basic principles of the validity of muamalah as long as it does not contain elements of gharar, usury, and fraud. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of digital muamalah fiqh literacy for Muslims to be able to carry out e-commerce transactions legally, ethically, and responsibly in accordance with sharia values ​​in the digital era.

Abstract

Despite sustained policy initiatives to promote Bahasa Indonesia internationally, its strategic development as a regional lingua franca within the ASEAN Economic Community has received limited scholarly attention, particularly in relation to economic integration and multilingual governance. This study examines whether Indonesian can function as a regional lingua franca in ASEAN and analyses how its internal linguistic conditions (strengths and weaknesses) and external environment (opportunities and threats) shape its internationalization prospects. Employing a qualitative research design, the study applies a structured SWOT analysis to official policy documents, institutional strategies, and regional cooperation frameworks relevant to ASEAN. The findings reveal that, despite strong demographic presence, legal recognition, and geopolitical significance, the internationalization of Indonesian is constrained by fragmented governance, limited cross-sectoral coordination, and the absence of a coherent long-term strategic roadmap. The study argues that advancing Indonesian as a regional lingua franca requires a paradigmatic shift in language policy, reconceptualizing it as a multi-sectoral process integrated with diplomacy, economic cooperation, education, and cultural governance. Rather than serving solely as a communicative medium, Indonesian must be positioned as a strategic policy asset embedded within ASEAN’s political–economic structures. By situating Indonesian within a Global South perspective, this study contributes to broader debates on regional lingua franca formation beyond English-centred models.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen entrepreneurial creativity and business awareness among members of the PKK women’s group in Kemplong Village, Pekalongan, through hands-on training in aromatherapy candle production as a form of locally based creative economic activity. The primary challenges faced by the community included limited productive skills, underutilization of household resources, and a lack of innovative income-generating initiatives with added economic value. The program employed a participatory and practice-oriented approach, encompassing needs assessment, coordination with local stakeholders, preparation of training modules, delivery of foundational materials, practical demonstrations of candle-making, mentoring through reflective discussions, and evaluation of outcomes. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills in independently producing aromatherapy candles, accompanied by increased motivation and self-confidence to initiate home-based businesses. Participants successfully created candle products with basic variations in fragrance and form that demonstrated potential market value. Moreover, the activity fostered social interaction, collaboration, and collective engagement among PKK members, strengthening social capital as a foundation for future entrepreneurial development. The implications of this program suggest that practice-based training combined with mentoring serves as an effective model for community empowerment, particularly in promoting women’s creative entrepreneurship. This initiative may serve as a reference for similar programs by emphasizing sustainability, product innovation, marketing strategies, and long-term economic impact within local communities.
