Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Heutagogy approach based on Xmind Mapping in improving students' critical thinking skills in history subjects at SMA Negeri 5 Barru Regency. The research employed a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 70 tenth-grade students selected through cluster random sampling. The instruments used in this study were essay tests and observation sheets. The findings revealed a significant increase in the students’ average scores, from 31.92 in the pretest to 66.45 in the posttest. The Mann-Whitney statistical test showed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating that the approach had a significant effect on enhancing students’ critical thinking abilities. Therefore, the Heutagogy approach integrated with Xmind Mapping can be considered an effective strategy to improve the quality of history learning and foster students’ critical thinking skills.Keywords: Heutagogy, Xmind Mapping, Critical Thinking, History Learning, Senior High School

Abstract

This study was about Speaking Classroom Interaction Based on Initiation-Response-Feedback (IRF) Model for Grade VIII at SMP Negeri 16 Medan. The aim of this study were to state clearly the objectives of the study in relation of the problem posed. The objective was to describe how the pattern of IRF in the speaking classroom interaction for students grade VIII at SMP Negeri 16 Medan. This research used qualitative research. The data were collected in two ways by observing by video recording and interviewing. The data was analyzed based on Sinclair and Coulthard theory (1975). The results of this study were the following (1) The language used by the teacher and the students in the classroom interaction was not balance. They are seldom to use English. Both teacher and students used Bahasa for 57% and the rest 43% they use English. (2) The lowest pattern was the teacher™s feedback. It had 22% feedback given by the teacher to the students. The students™ response was the dominant pattern in the classroom interaction rather than initiation. The students™ response had 44%, while the teacher™s initiation had 34%. This pattern happened when the teacher asked students the examples of using ˜can™ and to do some exercises of using ˜can™ in sentences.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis kuantitatif untuk menganalisis skor penilaian dan teknik analisis kualitatif untuk merangkum dan mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian melalui observasi pengamatan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal “Mattojang” membuat peserta didik antusias dimana para peserta didik menikmati dan senang dalam proses pembelajaran. Sedangkan untuk persentase peserta didik yang nilainya di atas KKM pada siklus I baru mencapai 72,41%, sehingga masih belum dapat mencapai kriteria keberhasilan penelitian. Pada siklus II, langkah-langkah penerapan pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal “Mattojang” dilakukan dengan cara menampilkan video kearifan lokal “Mattojang” yang lebih jelas dan ditambahkan penjelasan mengenai materi getaran pada video kearifan lokal tersebut. Presentase nilai peserta didik yang di atas KKM pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 93,10%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal “Mattojang” mampu membuat peserta didik tertarik dalam belajar sehingga mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik terhadap materi getaran kelas VIII.A SMP 9 Parepare

Abstract

Evaluation is one of the important components in the learning process, including in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Evaluation helps teachers measure the achievement of learning objectives and identify the weaknesses and strengths of the teaching and learning process. The development of evaluation tools that are appropriate and in accordance with the characteristics of PAI subjects is a necessity to obtain accurate evaluation results and describe students' abilities comprehensively. From this background, the purpose of this study is to provide an explanation of the development of evaluation tools in PAI learning. This research is a type of library research that uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, the data collection technique is in the form of literature study, and the data analysis uses the content analysis method. The results showed that in this study, evaluation tools were developed in the form of authentic assessment instruments by considering the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects contained in PAI subjects. This authentic assessment instrument includes project assessment, portfolio, written test, observation, and self-assessment. The development of this instrument is based on the analysis of core competencies, basic competencies, and relevant PAI materials. After going through the stages of expert validation and field trials, the authentic assessment instrument developed showed valid, practical, and effective criteria for use in measuring student learning outcomes in PAI subjects. The results of this study are expected to contribute to improving the quality of PAI learning evaluation and provide a more comprehensive picture of student achievement in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects.

Abstract

Learning that uses creative new methods and prioritizes critical thinking, active involvement and active participation of students in the learning process. This learning model aims to develop students' ability to think independently, creatively and innovatively, so that they can generate new ideas, solve problems and apply knowledge in real life. From this background, the aim of this research is to provide an explanation of innovative learning models in PAI (concepts and various types of innovative learning models in PAI). This research is a type of library research (Library Research) which uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, the data collection technique is a literature study, and the data analysis uses the content analysis method (Content Analysis). The results of the research show that the existence of an innovative learning model that can be applied when learning PAI will create motivation to learn PAI, whereas initially learning PAI was monotonous with conventional models only in the classroom, for example by using the CTL model, PAI learning can be carried out outside the classroom. , the effect of which will provide an interesting impression when PAI learning is carried out, because students are given more freedom to express themselves. In this case, there are several types of innovative learning models in Islamic Religious Education, namely: Discovery Learning, Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Problem Solving, Contextual, PAIKEM, and Cooperative.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze bullying behavior that occurs within the school environment, particularly at the junior high school level (SMP), focusing on the forms of bullying, its causal factors, and its impact on the students involved, both perpetrators and victims. The research adopts a qualitative case study method, employing data collection techniques such as direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation at a public school. The findings reveal that bullying manifests in physical forms (hitting, kicking), verbal abuse (mockery, insults), and psychological harm (exclusion, intimidation). Contributing factors include dysfunctional family environments, peer pressure, and weak supervision from the school. The impacts are significant, ranging from emotional disturbances and decreased learning motivation to poor academic performance and social withdrawal. This study recommends the importance of active collaboration among teachers, parents, and schools in preventing and addressing bullying comprehensively, as well as in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive school climate for students’ holistic development.

Abstract

Health service administration is an important foundation in supporting the quality of services in primary health facilities such as community health centers. This study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the administration system at the Bontonompo 1 Community Health Center in Bontoramba Village, South Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency, which includes aspects of efficiency, completeness of documents, utilization of information technology, staff competence, and patient satisfaction. This study aims to evaluate the health service administration system at the Bontonompo 1 Community Health Center in Gowa Regency. The evaluation was conducted based on several main indicators such as service efficiency, completeness of documents, utilization of information technology, staff competence, and patient satisfaction. The research method used was a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey approach to patients and community health center employees. The results showed that most indicators of administrative efficiency were classified as good, such as completeness of documents and the conformity of medical record data. However, problems arose in the long waiting time and the still low utilization of the digital patient information system. In addition, although the level of patient satisfaction with the friendliness and speed of service was quite high, the clarity of information and service flow still needed to be improved. Staff competence also indicated the need for further training, especially in the use of information technology and understanding of administrative regulations. It is recommended that improvements be made to the queue management system, strengthening of administrative HR training, and comprehensive implementation of information technology to improve the quality and efficiency of services.

Abstract

This service aims to provide counselling to the community or livestock groups in Baba Village, Cendana District, Enrekang Regency to maintain the sanitation of dairy cows in order to always maintain livestock comfort, livestock cleanliness, avoid bacterial contamination, avoid mastitis, and how to process a good waste processing process so that it can benefit the community in Enrekang Regency. This service location is a location where the majority of people own dairy farms. This service activity is expected by the community at this service location to be able to maintain good cage sanitation and can process livestock waste into useful, environmentally friendly products and increase selling points.

Abstract

Ada beberapa pemeriksaan kasus forensik Medikolegal, masih menjadi kompetensi dokter umum sebagai garda terdepan di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan. Pada keadaan tertentu Dokter umum masih dapat mengkonsulkan pemeriksaan kasus forensik medikolegal. Pemeriksaan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa data rekam medik yang dikonsul dokter umum pada bagian forensik Medikolegal. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada 38,75% data rekam medik yang dikonsul dokter umum pada bagian forensik medikolegal belum tercatat pada anamnesis dan hasil pemeriksaan 38,75% dan penanganan dan tindakan 80%. Kesimpulan dokter umum lebih berorientasi pada pelayanan prima yang cepat dan tepat, dokter sudah melakukan apa yang seharusnya dilakukan, namun pada pencatatan masih ada yang ditemukan belum tercatat

Abstract

Beton merupakan materi komposit yang terbentuk dari gabungan agregat dan pengikat semen. Bentuk paling umum dari beton adalah beton semen Portland, yang terdiri dari agregat kasar berupa kerikil dan agregat halus berupa pasir. Berbagai upaya dilakukan untuk menemukan inovasi dalam pemilihan bahan untuk pembuatan beton. Salah satunya adalah mencari material tambahan atau pengganti yang ekonomis dan memiliki kekuatan tekan yang optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai pengaruh kuat tekan beton dengan penggunaan bahan pengganti agregat kasar, seperti Bata Merah dan Batako. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen yang dilakukan di laboratorium Teknik UM Buton. Penelitian ini melibatkan pengujian fisik beton dengan bahan pengganti Bata Merah dan Batako yang dipecah dengan variasi ukuran antara 3 cm hingga 4 cm, secara tidak merata. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, kuat tekan beton dengan bahan pengganti Bata Merah pada umur 3 hari adalah 48,4 kg/cm², pada umur 7 hari adalah 56,7 kg/cm², dan pada umur 28 hari adalah 71,4 kg/cm². Sementara itu, beton dengan bahan pengganti Batako pada umur 3 hari memiliki kuat tekan sebesar 47,1 kg/cm², pada umur 7 hari adalah 52,3 kg/cm², dan pada umur 28 hari adalah 68,5 kg/cm². Diperhatikan bahwa penggunaan bahan pengganti Bata Merah dan Batako tidak mampu meningkatkan kuat tekan beton, hal ini disebabkan oleh perbedaan berat antara Bata Merah dan Batako dengan agregat kasar (kerikil). Kandungan kadar lumpur menjadi salah satu penyebab rendahnya nilai kuat tekan yang di hasilkan material tersebut.
