Abstract

School principals play a central role in shaping the educational environment through the policies they implement. Transformational leadership by school principals focuses on empowering teachers, enhancing student motivation, and fostering a positive school culture to achieve better educational outcomes. This study aims to provide a systematic literature review of the impact of transformational leadership by school principals on the educational environment. The research reviews relevant articles published in the past five years from the Scopus and ERIC databases, using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) approach. The findings of this study show that the majority of research focuses on the junior high school level, which is considered a critical transitional phase for students. Transformational leadership by school principals can improve teacher performance in areas such as creativity, innovation, and self-efficacy, which in turn contribute to student learning outcomes. Moreover, successful strategies employed by school principals include creating a conducive school climate, enhancing collaboration among teachers, strengthening relationships with parents, and fostering a positive school culture. These findings conclude the necessity of involving all elements within the educational environment to create an ecosystem that supports the holistic development of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merangkum serta mendeskripsikan bagaimana manfaat komunikasi interpersonal kepemimpinan kepala sekolah pegawai di sebuah organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merangkum serta mendeskripsikan bagaimana komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode kajian pustaka (Library Research). Pada lembaga pendidikan kepala sekolah mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting, kepala sekolah mengarahkan lembaga pendidikannya untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan penerapan komunikasi interpersonal dalam menjalankan peran kepala sekolah sebagai seseorang yang memempengaruhi, mengarahkan, memotivasi dan menginspirasi. Dengan penerapan komunikasi interpersonal diharapkan terjadi perubahan sikap dan prilaku guru dan tenaga kependidikan dan tujuan pendidikan dengan mudah dapat tercapai karena semua warga sekolah memiliki pemahaman informasi yang sama dan berdampak pada pelaksanaan program pencapaian tujuan sekolah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merangkum serta mendeskripsikan bagaimana kontribusi kepemimpinan dalam meningkatkan komitmen organisasi pegawai di sebuah organisasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode kajian pustaka (Library Research). Komitmen pegawai adalah elemen kunci yang mempengaruhi kinerja organisasi. Karena itu, peran pemimpin dalam meningkatkan komitmen pegawai sangat penting. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana kontribusi pemimpin dalam meningkatkan komitmen pegawai. Hasil riset yang dilakukan oleh signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja. Hal ini juga sejalan dengan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Purnomo, E. (2018) yang menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan mempunyai pengaruh langsung positif terhadap komitmen organisasi pegawai. pegawaisebesar 46%. Pemimpin dapat memotivasi pegawai untuk meningkatkan kemajuan organisasi dengan meningkatkan pendidikan dan pelatihan, serta memberikan arahan dan tujuan yang jelas. Dengan demikian, pegawai dapat memberikan kontribusi yang lebih efektif untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi, termasuk visi dan misi. Pemimpin dapat mengarahkan bawahan untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi dengan cara yang efektif.

Abstract

Kecerdasan emosional dan kinerja guru dikaji dan dipahami dalam artikel ini. Teknik yang digunakan adalah survei tertulis dengan mengkaji beberapa hal terkait, misalnya, bagaimana kapasitas untuk memahami orang pada tingkat yang mendalam menambah kinerja instruktur. Hakikat pengajaran di sekolah tidak dapat dipisahkan dari komitmennya terhadap gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kecerdasan emosional guru dalam proses pendidikan di sekolah. Keberhasilan dalam pendidikan diukur oleh lembaga pendidikan, kepala sekolah, dan pendidik. Kinerja guru merupakan faktor yang sangat penting; jika seorang guru berkinerja baik, siswa akan dapat mencapai hasil belajar yang baik. Kecerdasan emosional guru dapat berdampak pada seberapa baik kinerja mereka di kelas. Seorang guru akan dapat memberikan hasil yang sangat baik jika ia memiliki kecerdasan emosional yang kuat. Dengan demikian, upaya untuk membangun kapasitas instruktur untuk memahami orang pada tingkat yang lebih dalam, misalnya melalui pelatihan pendidik, harus dipikirkan, karena hal itu akan memberikan komitmen langsung untuk meningkatkan efektivitas diri instruktur dan kinerja instruktur. Dengan demikian, kemampuan untuk memahami orang pada tingkat yang lebih dalam dapat menentukan kemungkinan untuk melakukan keahlian yang berdampak pada kinerja perwakilan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan tingkat pengembalian (Rate of Return, RoR) di berbagai jenjang pendidikan di Kota Padang, meliputi pendidikan dasar, menengah, dan tinggi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis kuantitatif dan studi literatur, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pendidikan memberikan keuntungan investasi yang signifikan, baik secara individu maupun kolektif bagi masyarakat. Jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi menunjukkan tingkat pengembalian yang lebih besar, seiring dengan peningkatan kompetensi dan peluang karir. Namun, terdapat variasi dalam hasil RoR berdasarkan lokasi geografis, sektor pekerjaan, dan faktor demografis lainnya. Metode penelitian melibatkan pengumpulan data sekunder dari sumber resmi serta analisis data menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini juga membahas pentingnya konsep biaya pendidikan, termasuk biaya langsung, tidak langsung, dan biaya kesempatan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan di Kota Padang memiliki nilai ekonomi yang signifikan, yang tercermin dari peningkatan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) dan kontribusi ekonomi dari lulusan pendidikan di berbagai jenjang. Hasil penelitian pendidikan merupakan investasi strategis yang mendukung pembangunan manusia dan ekonomi. Pemerintah dan institusi pendidikan diharapkan terus meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, mengoptimalkan pengelolaan sumber daya, serta memperluas akses pendidikan agar manfaat ekonomi dari investasi ini dapat dirasakan secara merata di seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Selain itu, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pendekatan berbasis data dalam evaluasi kebijakan pendidikan untuk memastikan efisiensi dan efektivitas investasi yang dilakukan

Abstract

This research was motivated by observations of problems regarding the low performance of teachers in junior high schools which showed that academic supervision and school climate were still not in line with what was expected and teacher performance was still not optimal. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of academic supervision and school climate on teacher performance in junior high schools. This research is a correlational quantitative research with an associative type. The population in this study were all teachers at Islamic College Middle Schools, totaling 98 teachers and the sample was determined using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling category, namely a sampling method by determining characteristics that were in accordance with the research objectives, obtaining 63 teachers. The research instrument uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale which has 5 alternative answers. Before the questionnaire was used, a trial was carried out to determine its validity and reliability. The data analysis technique was carried out using multiple linear regression tests which were processed using SPSS version 24. The results of data analysis showed that there was a significant influence between academic supervision and school climate on teacher performance with a value of Fcount>Ftable (6.269>3.14), so there was a significant influence between academic supervision and school climate together on teacher performance. In the coefficient of determination test, r² = 0.145 was obtained, which means that the determination of the academic supervision and school climate variables on teacher performance is 14.5%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the profile of Pancasila students as an effort to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship in students. In this research, the author uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The results of this study indicate that the independent curriculum is the most optimal curriculum in fostering the spirit of entrepreneurship in students through the development of the Pancasila student profile. Where in the development of the Pancasila learner profile, project-based learning activities are carried out. So, it is hoped that in the future students will become a creative, independent society and be able to face economic problems in Indonesia in accordance with the values of Pancasila.

Abstract

Objectives: To assess the role of education on HPV vaccination interest among preclinical medical students at School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. Methods: This was a descriptive analytic study with cross-sectional method. The respondents of this study were 104 of preclinical medical students, School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, based on proportional sampling method. Data were obtained in November 2023 using questionnaires tool. The collected data were then statistically analyzed with univariate and bivariate analysis. Results: There was an increase that statistically significant in knowledge and HPV vaccination interest after educational intervention. And there was an association between education and HPV vaccination interest (p=0.000). Conclusion: There is a role of education on HPV vaccination interest among preclinical medical students at School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia.

Abstract

In a rapidly evolving digital era, a younger generation called ‘digital natives’ have grown up with technology influencing the way they interact and learn. The Merdeka Curriculum, launched by Indonesia's Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in 2022, aims to adapt education to the needs of this generation. It emphasises the development of 21st century competencies, including critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication (4Cs), as well as digital literacy which includes understanding and using technology safely and effectively. This research uses the literature review method to analyse the relevance of Merdeka Curriculum in preparing a generation of digital natives. The literature reviewed includes various sources from academic databases and trusted institutional reports, focusing on education, technology, and developmental psychology. The results of the analysis show that Merdeka Curriculum integrates technology in learning, encourages project-based learning, and personalisation to suit the preferences of digital natives. Nonetheless, the implementation of this curriculum faces challenges such as the digital divide and teacher readiness. The government needs to improve infrastructure, teacher training and community support to overcome these challenges. In conclusion, Merdeka Curriculum has significant potential in preparing students for success in the digital era, both locally and globally. It not only aims to improve digital skills, but also develops character and human values, preparing students to become reflective and ethical global citizens.

Abstract

This article analyzes the impact of leadership style at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. The focus is on six main leadership styles, namely transformational, transactional, autocratic, charismatic, bureaucratic and democratic. This article has provided in-depth insight into leadership styles; Democratic, transformational, bureaucratic and autocratic leadership have a positive impact on the performance of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Bukittinggi teachers. In this article, analysis of primary data and secondary data has been carried out. The analysis uses a quantitative approach, with the help of a survey instrument, based on a questionnaire survey. Secondary research has been conducted through a review of previously established literature to achieve the research objectives. The results of this article suggest that charismatic, bureaucratic and transactional leadership styles have a negative relationship with performance. Transformational, autocratic and democratic leadership styles, on the other hand, have a positive relationship with the performance of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Bukittinggi.
