Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between environmental costs and financial performance in the Islamic finance sector using advanced machine learning techniques. By integrating CSR Expenditure, Energy Consumption, and Carbon Emissions as environmental factors, the research applies Gradient Boosting, XGBoost, and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) to predict Retail Banking Revenue, Wholesale Banking Revenue, and Third-Party Funds. The objective is to evaluate how sustainability practices impact financial outcomes, using an innovative approach that combines economic modeling with computer-based prediction. The findings reveal that Gradient Boosting outperforms other models, demonstrating strong predictive accuracy, especially for Third-Party Funds and Wholesale Banking Revenue. XGBoost also provides valuable insights, while ANN struggles with overestimations, indicating the need for further optimization. This research underscores the growing significance of environmental sustainability in shaping financial performance and provides a computational framework for financial institutions and policymakers to assess the impact of green accounting on economic growth.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze changes in tourist perceptions and expectations in Staycation activities in the Cisaat Subang tourist village, West Java in the new normal period. Research methods: This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze changes in the perceptions and expectations of tourists in the Tourist Village of Cisaat Subang, from normal to post-pandemic or the new normal period. The respondents taken were 10 tourists who had visited the tourist village of Cisaat Subang, West Java. Results and discussion: Through the analysis carried out, the results of the perceptions and expectations of tourists have changed along with the pandemic that occurs. Implication: The tourists agree that they want improvements and additional facilities that support them to vacation there, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic as a guarantee of safety and comfort for them vacationing in the tourist village of Cisaat Subang, West Java in this new normal period.   Keywords: perceptions and expectations of tourists, staycation, cisaat subang tourism village.

Abstract

In the digital era, the use of financial technology, especially e-wallets, is increasing among students due to its convenience and flexibility. However, limited studies have examined the influence of economic, lifestyle, and psychological factors on e-wallet usage, particularly among Islamic economics students. This study uses a quantitative method with a multiple linear regression approach, based on data from 100 respondents collected via online questionnaires. The results show that economic factors negatively influence e-wallet usage (coefficient = -0.276, sig. < 0.05), suggesting that higher economic status may reduce usage. Lifestyle has a positive influence (coefficient = 0.341, sig. < 0.05), indicating students with modern habits are more likely to use e-wallets. Psychological behavior is the most influential factor (coefficient = 0.768, sig. < 0.05), emphasizing the role of motivation, perception, and trust. The R² value of 0.632 indicates that 63.2% of e-wallet usage decisions are explained by these variables.

Abstract

Background: This study was motivated by the low understanding of students' Arabic vocabulary at MTsN 17 Tanah Datar. Purpose: This research aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning with the make a match strategy on students' vocabulary understanding at MTsN 17 Tanah Datar. Method: The research methodology uses a quantitative experimental approach with a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study were all students in class eighth at MTsN 17 Tanah Datar. Researchers used Total Sampling techniques in taking samples. The researcher chose class 8.A with a total of 21 students as the experimental group and class 8.B with a total of 20 students as the control group. The instrument for vocabulary learning results is in the form of test questions that have been validated by the validator. Results and Discussion: The Wilcoxon test results were obtained by Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed)=<0.001. This means Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed)=0.001 is smaller than 0.05 )0.001<0.05) and means that H1 is accepted. Conclusions and Implications: Based on the results of the test wilcoxon,the researcher concluded in this study that there is effectiveness of cooperative learning with the make a match strategy on vocabulary understanding at MTsN 17 Tanah Datar.

Abstract

Tata busana merupakan salah satu bidang yang dapat menjadi alternatif pemberdayaan ekonomi dan kreativitas masyarakat. Melalui pengenalan dasar-dasar tata busana, diharapkan masyarakat dapat mengembangkan keterampilan yang bernilai ekonomis dan estetis. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kreatif masyarakat di Pargarutan Batu, Tapanuli Selatan, melalui workshop pengenalan tata busana. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, demonstrasi dan praktek lapangan langsung tentang teknik dasar menjahit dan desain busana sederhana. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam bidang tata busana, serta munculnya minat untuk mengembangkan usaha mandiri di bidang tata busana. . Secara lebih luas, kegiatan ini bertujuan mendukung program pemerintah dalam penguatan ekonomi kreatif berbasis masyarakat sebagaimana program yang sudah dilaksanakan pemerintah melalui Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan setiap tahunnya.

Abstract

Fun English adalah salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang mengutamakan kegiatan yang menyenangkan, interaktif, dan kreatif untuk meningkatkan minat dan kemampuan siswa dalam berbahasa Inggris. Metode ini cocok untuk anak-anak, terutama di tingkat sekolah dasar, karena mereka belajar lebih efektif melalui permainan dan aktivitas yang melibatkan emosi positif. Fun English dengan menggunakan teknik Guessing Games ini diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan minat dan motivasi belajar bahasa Inggris siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara, mendengar, membaca, menulis dan juga meningkatkan hafalan kosakata Bahasa Inggris untuk membantu siswa merasa nyaman dan percaya diri saat menggunakan bahasa Inggris. Rangkaian kegiatan pendampingan kelas ini dimulai dengan memberikan Ice breaking dan pengenalan kosakata, Permainan “Who Am I?”, “Guess the Object”, dan “20 Questions” dan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan Evaluasi ringan berbentuk kuis atau refleksi. PKM ini dilaksanakan di SD Muhammadiyah 3 Padangsidimpuan pada siswa kelas V. Pencapaian hasil PKM ini adalah peningkatan kepercayaan diri siswa untuk menggunakan kosakata bahasa inggris, siswa lebih mudah memahami materi yang diperoleh, memahami penggunaan kata dalam konteks permainan guessing word dan juga meningkatkan suasana belajar yang aktif dan menyenangkan sehingga tujuan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris dapat tercapai dengan baik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of integrating traditional games in improving the gross motor skills of elementary school students. The research method used is experimental with a pre-test and post-test one group design. The population consisted of fourth-grade students from an elementary school, with a sample of 30 students selected from one class. The instrument used to measure gross motor skills was the Test of Gross Motor Development-2, which has been adapted and validated for the Indonesian context. Data analysis showed a significant increase in gross motor skills after participating in traditional game interventions. The pre-test data were not normally distributed (Sig. Shapiro-Wilk = 0.007), while the post-test data were normally distributed (Sig. = 0.128). The paired t-test results indicated a t-value of 132.366 with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, confirming a significant improvement. The traditional games specifically used in this study were Boi-boian and kasti. Boi-boian involves actions such as throwing and dodging, which effectively develop coordination and reaction skills. Kasti, a bat-and-run game, trains students in hitting, catching, and sprinting, enhancing strength, agility, and motor accuracy. The integration of these two games provided diverse physical challenges and significantly boosted student engagement.These findings suggest that traditional game-based interventions can serve as an effective strategy for enhancing gross motor skills in elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of cooperative learning model type think pair share (TPS) assisted by cube block media (Kubal) in mathematics learning in class V MIS Fathul Iman Palangka Raya, improve student learning outcomes, and find out how much improvement in learning outcomes is achieved through the model. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis & Mc. Taggart model consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 27 students of class V B at MIS Fathul Iman with data collection techniques through tests, observations, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the application of the TPS model assisted by Kubal media can create interesting, interactive learning, and is able to encourage students to think critically. Learning was carried out in two cycles and showed a significant increase. Teacher and student activities increased with very good criteria, as well as an increase in student learning outcomes from an average of 62.6 (low category) classical completeness 52% and an average to 82.6 (high category) classical completeness to 89%. The increase in the N-Gain Test value of 0.7325 (high) increased from the low category to the high category. Conclusion, the cooperative learning model of the TPS type assisted by Kubal media is effective in improving the quality of learning and students' mathematics learning outcomes. Abstract

Ekonomi berkelanjutan merupakan salah satu fokus pengembangan ekonomi yang banyak dilakukan oleh negara-negara di dunia. Namun dalam penerapannya, nilai-nilai islam menjadi salah satu penilaian yang digunakan untuk memaksimalkan hal tersebut. penelitian ini menggunakan teknik penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data studi literatur sehingga bisa menyusun argumentasi yang berhubungan dengan nilai syariah dalam green business yang bisa memaksimalkan Ekonomi Berkelanjutan dan Beretika. Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, diketahui bahwa dalam perspektif islam, green business menjadi salah satu implikasi yang sedang diperhatikan, mengingat kompetisi bisnis semakin meningkat sehingga penerapan bisnis yang baik dan beretika menjadi hal yang perlu dikaji terus menerus.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of premium materials and design innovation on the competitiveness of the Erigo brand in the global market. The method used is descriptive quantitative, with a sample of 100 students from the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, UINSU. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression through SPSS. The results indicate that premium materials and design innovation have a positive and significant effect on Erigo's competitiveness. These findings highlight the importance of material quality and product innovation in enhancing the position of local brands in the international market.
