Abstract

Be aware and recognize worm disease in children. This disease that often occurs is very disturbing the development of children. So, it is very important to recognize and prevent worm disease in children from an early age. The disturbances can range from mild without symptoms to severe and even life-threatening. In general, nutritional disorders or anemia can occur in patients. This will indirectly lead to impaired intelligence in children. About 60 percent of Indonesians have worm infections. The most age group is in the age of 5-14 years. The prevalence rate is 60 percent, 21 percent of which attack elementary school-aged children and the average content of worms per person is six. The data was obtained through surveys and research conducted in several provinces in 2006. The method used is Pre Test and Post Test using a questionnaire. Based on the results of the counseling there was an increase in respondents' knowledge of the dangers of intestinal worms in children, namely in the good category as many as 39 (76,47%). The conclusion is that there is a significant increase in respondents' knowledge after being given counseling.

Abstract

Menstrual disorders vary, including pain, heavy bleeding, and no menstruation. Actually, there are many other disorders, but these three types of menstrual disorders that often occur, therefore this article will only discuss these three things. Menstruation is the process of bleeding that occurs periodically and periodically due to the shedding of the lining of the inner uterine wall (endometrium) on the uterine wall that comes out through the vagina in the form of blood vessels, glands and cells that are not used due to the absence of fertilization or pregnancy. Menstruation is a normal periodic bleeding of the uterus which is a physiological function that occurs in female primates. Basically, menstruation is a catabolic process and occurs under the influence of pituitary and ovarian hormones. Menstruation occurs at the age of adolescent girls for the first time varies between 10-16 years, but the average is 12.5 years and lasts until menopause (usually occurs around the age of 45-55 years). The method used is Pre Test and Post Test using a questionnaire. Based on the results of the counseling there was an increase in respondents' knowledge of menstrual disorders, namely 29 (74,4%) in the good category. The conclusion is that there is a significant increase in respondents’ knowledge after being given counseling.

Abstract

Corona virus or severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is a virus that attacks the respiratory system. The disease caused by this viral infection is called COVID-19. Corona virus can cause mild disorders of the respiratory system, severe lung infections, and even death. Coronavirus is a collection of viruses that infect the respiratory system. In most cases, this virus causes only mild respiratory infections, such as the flu. However, this virus can also cause severe respiratory infections, such as lung infections (pneumonia). According to data released by the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19, the number of confirmed positive cases as of June 21, 2022 was 6.069.255 people, with a death toll of 156.695. From this figure, it is known that the case fatality rate due to COVID-19 is around 2,6%. This number decreased from 3,4% in January 2022. Although the number of deaths from COVID-19 is relatively high, the recovery rate from COVID-19 is also increasing. The latest data states, the number of survivors or people who have been infected with the Corona virus and then recovered is 5.903.461 people. The method carried out is Pre Test and Post Test using a questionnaire. Based on the results of the counseling, there was an increase in the knowledge of COVID-19 respondents in pregnancy, which was in the good category by 31 (70,45%). The conclusion is that there is a significant increase in respondents' knowledge after being given counseling.

Abstract

The study examines the impact of pricing changes on financial reporting in Indonesian manufacturing firms is examined in this study. This study, which employs a qualitative methodology using case studies, discovers that price changes have an impact on reported earnings and asset values. The quality of financial reporting, net income, and asset valuation are all significantly impacted by changes in the price of raw materials. When it comes to handling price volatility, the fair value approach has been shown to be more applicable than the historical approach. Furthermore, openness in reporting boosts investor trust. This study recommends enhancing the accounting system's ability to handle pricing dynamics and implementing adaptive accounting procedures.

Abstract

Pemilihan umum (Pemilu) merupakan mekanisme esensial dalam mewujudkan kedaulatan rakyat, memungkinkan masyarakat untuk memilih wakil mereka secara langsung, umum, bebas, rahasia, jujur, dan adil. Perkembangan teknologi, khususnya media sosial, telah mengubah dinamika kampanye politik di Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh media sosial terhadap hasil pemilu, dengan fokus pada Generasi Z sebagai kelompok pemilih yang signifikan. Media sosial, dengan karakteristiknya yang interaktif dan luas, memungkinkan penyebaran pesan politik yang lebih efektif dan cepat, serta mendorong partisipasi politik yang lebih besar di kalangan pemilih muda. Namun, selain manfaat tersebut, media sosial juga menghadirkan tantangan serius, seperti penyebaran misinformasi, polarisasi politik, dan potensi manipulasi melalui penargetan iklan yang spesifik. Studi ini menemukan bahwa media sosial memainkan peran yang semakin krusial dalam kampanye politik, mempengaruhi perilaku dan keputusan pemilih. Meski demikian, untuk meminimalisir dampak negatifnya, diperlukan upaya peningkatan literasi digital di kalangan masyarakat serta regulasi yang ketat dalam penggunaan data pribadi dan penyebaran informasi politik. Kesimpulannya, meskipun media sosial memiliki potensi besar dalam mendukung proses demokrasi, pengelolaan yang tepat sangat penting untuk menjaga integritas dan kualitas pemilu di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study is quantitative and draws on secondary information from financial records that can be viewed at www.idx.ac.id.. The research population consisted of 10 pharmaceutical companies and 8 research samples obtained using a purposive sampling method for 5 years & the number of samples was 40 observational data. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis which was using SPSS 26. The results of the research conducted in this research are: (1) From the results of the regression test, the regression coefficient of the Gross Profit variable is positive. This shows there is such positive influence between Gross Profit and future Cash Flows. It is known that the Sig value shows number that is less than the significance value. then the gross profit partially affects the prediction of future cash flows, (2) From the results of the regression test, the regression coefficient of the variable Operating Profit has no impact on future cash flows. Sig probability value. the greater the significance value, the operating profit partially does not affect the prediction of future cash flows, (3) The regression test's findings indicate that the Net Income variable's regression coefficient has a favorable impact on upcoming cash flows. Probability value for sig. Operating profit partially influences future cash flows if it is greater than the substantial value and a positive coefficient., (4) The value obtained from the F test is 122.176, and the significance level is 0.000. Value of Sig is known. displays a value less than the significance level (0.000 0.05). This leads to the conclusion that gross profit, operating profit, and net profit all have an impact on forecasting future cash flows at the same time. Furthermore, gross profit, operating profit, and net profit can predict future cash flows by 90.3%. While other factors and variables outside of this study can explain and have an impact on the remaining 9.7%.

Abstract

The development of accounting science has triggered the development of more complex accounting standards. The development of accounting standards has led to differences in accounting practices between countries, including European countries. The application of accounting standards in Europe cannot be separated from the influence of the development of American and British accounting systems in European countries. This research aims to see the influence of America and England on the development of accounting in European countries and to compare European countries' accounting practices and systems. The method used in this research is library research, by collecting data from relevant books and journals. This library data is then arranged in a structured manner to obtain research results. The research results show that the European accounting system has been largely influenced by America and England. European countries have absorbed accounting standards in the form of IFRS in their accounting practices. Several European countries have created their own country's accounting standards, but their practices are still adapted to international accounting and IFRS so that there is still harmonization of accounting standards in each European country.

Abstract

Successful breastfeeding significantly impacts the health of both mothers and infants. This study aims to analyze factors affecting breastfeeding success through a quantitative design incorporating bivariate and multivariate analyses. Data were collected from 90 breastfeeding mothers and analyzed using statistical tests. The results reveal that maternal age is a significant factor (p-value=0.007); mothers aged 20–35 are 1.6 times more likely to breastfeed successfully than those younger than 20 or older than 35. Maternal education also plays a critical role (p-value=0.002); mothers with higher education levels are 2.3 times more likely to succeed in breastfeeding than those with primary education. Employment status is another significant factor (p-value=0.013); non-working mothers are 1.8 times more likely to breastfeed successfully than working mothers. Parity also influences success (p-value=0.029); multiparous mothers are 1.2 times more likely to succeed than primiparous mothers. These findings highlight the need for targeted interventions. Educational programs should prioritize mothers with primary or secondary education and those employed. Support mechanisms for working and primiparous mothers are crucial to address breastfeeding challenges. Policies such as extended maternity leave and workplace lactation facilities are also recommended to foster breastfeeding success. In conclusion, maternal age, education, employment status, and parity significantly impact breastfeeding outcomes. Tailored programs and supportive policies can improve breastfeeding rates and enhance maternal and infant health.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan pembuatan media pemeblajaran Pop Up book. Media ini menjadi salah satu media yang inovatif dalam dunia pendidikan sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas guru paud di desa jurit. Pop up book merupakan salah satu media pemeblajaran yang bias digunakan oleh guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran. Dengan adanya media ini pembelaran lebih efektif, menarik dan siswa lebih mudah memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh guru. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada guru bahwa ada berbagai media yang digunakan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran yang inetraktif dan menarik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini terdiri penyampaian materi terkait dengan pembelajaran pop up book, pelatiahan pembuatan media pop up book untuk guru paud se desa jurit. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu kegiatan pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bagi guru PAUD.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan ibu-ibu anggota PKK di Desa Lenek Pesiraman Worksop Handycraft Berbasis Ekonomi Kreatif. Workshop ini dirancang untuk memberikan keterampilan dalam membuat produk handycraft yang inovatif, berkualitas, dan bernilai jual, serta meningkatkan pemahaman tentang strategi pemasaran, baik secara konvensional maupun digital. Selama workshop, peserta akan diberikan pelatihan praktis dalam pembuatan kerajinan menggunakan bahan baku lokal, seperti bambu, kain tradisional, dan bahan organik lainnya, yang juga mencerminkan kekayaan budaya lokal. Selain itu, peserta akan dibekali dengan keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan platform digital untuk memasarkan produk mereka secara lebih luas. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan ibu-ibu PKK dapat meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga, menciptakan kelompok usaha bersama, dan berkontribusi pada pengembangan ekonomi lokal Desa Lenek Pesiraman. Dengan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, program ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak jangka panjang yang positif bagi pembangunan ekonomi dan sosial di desa tersebut.
