Abstract

ABSTRACT Low student learning outcomes on the human digestive system topic indicate that current instructional practices have not fully engaged students in active learning or effectively facilitated their understanding of abstract concepts. This condition highlights the need for instructional approaches that integrate inquiry-based activities with interactive visualization technologies. This study aimed to examine the effect of implementing an Inquiry Learning model supported by Augmented Reality media on elementary school students' science learning outcomes regarding the human digestive system. The study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a One Group Pretest–Posttest Design, involving 34 fifth-grade students from SD Negeri 1 Jambu. The research was conducted through three stages: pretest, implementation of the Inquiry Learning model supported by Augmented Reality media, and posttest. Data were collected using a learning achievement test that had met the required validity and reliability criteria and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, and the Paired Sample t-Test with the assistance of Jamovi software. The findings revealed that the implementation of the proposed model significantly improved students' learning outcomes with a very large effect size. These findings suggest that integrating Inquiry Learning with Augmented Reality creates a more active, concrete, and meaningful learning experience, making it a promising instructional alternative for enhancing science learning, particularly for topics involving abstract concepts in elementary education. ABSTRAK Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran masih belum sepenuhnya mampu melibatkan siswa secara aktif serta memfasilitasi pemahaman terhadap konsep-konsep yang bersifat abstrak. Kondisi tersebut mendorong perlunya penerapan pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan aktivitas penyelidikan dengan pemanfaatan teknologi visual interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model Inquiry Learning berbasis media Augmented Reality terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa sekolah dasar pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre-experimental melalui desain One Group Pretest–Posttest Design yang melibatkan 34 siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Jambu. Penelitian dilaksanakan melalui tahapan pretest, pemberian perlakuan menggunakan model Inquiry Learning berbasis media Augmented Reality, dan posttest. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes hasil belajar yang telah memenuhi kriteria validitas dan reliabilitas, kemudian dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif, uji Shapiro–Wilk, dan Paired Sample t-Test berbantuan perangkat lunak Jamovi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model tersebut meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan dengan ukuran pengaruh yang tergolong sangat besar. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi Inquiry Learning dan Augmented Reality mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih aktif, konkret, dan bermakna, sehingga berpotensi menjadi alternatif inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPAS pada materi yang memiliki karakteristik abstrak di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Reading is a fundamental skill, reading does not just interpret words but involves all aspects of understanding, analyzing and all the information presented in the text. This study aims to investigate the application of word puzzle media in the independent curriculum as a solution to overcome the problem of reading difficulties. The Independent Curriculum is an innovative approach that integrates media and technology into learning, while Word Puzzle Media is a learning method that combines aspects of play with learning to read. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through the process of observation, interviews and documentation. The sample of this research consists of first year students of SDN 5 Sekuro. The results showed that reading skills improved significantly, besides the fact that the use of this word puzzle media could increase students' interest and motivation for learning, as this media combined elements of games with reading activities, making the learning process more fun and challenging.

Bullying is a criminal act that can occur in the world of education. This event sparked the interest of researchers to conduct research. The purpose of this research is none other than to shed light on teacher’s strategies to anticipate and reduce the level of bullying in schools. This research used a qualitative descriptive research appoarch with a case study type. The data collection techniques in this study used observational techniques, interviews with class VI teachers, class VI student, and school principals, and documentation as data collection materials obtained. The test validity pf data using the triangulation technique and source triangulation. This research was conducted at SD Al-Islam Pengkol Jepara from August 4 2023 to August 7 2023. The research findings show that teachers have several strategies to overcome acts of bullying toward student. Namely giving advice, counseling, mental reinforcement to the victims, providing sanctions or punishments, socialization takes place. Abstract

This exploration is inspired by decisive reasoning abilities and understudies' comprehension of the transformation learning of science material which isn't amplified because of the growing experience which actually doesn't utilize the right methodology and learning media. The motivation behind this review was to decide the attainability of STEAM-based lifelike model media to further develop the decisive reasoning abilities of 4th grade primary school understudies. This sort of examination is Innovative work (Research and development) research utilizing the Borg and Nerve model with 19 class IV understudies at SDN 5 Sinangul as subjects. The consequences of information examination showed that: ( 1) The approval consequences of media specialists, materials, and learning got a normal of 82%, 86%, and 90% so the establishment is truly practical, (2) The consequences of the viability of STEAM-based lifelike model media should be visible from positive understudy reactions and n-gain scores which show a low classification. This outcome implies that STEAM-based lifelike model media items to further develop the decisive reasoning abilities of 4th grade primary school understudies are legitimate, viable and powerful.

Abstract

This development research was carried out because there were difficulties for students to understand material changes in the shape of objects during the learning process and low student learning outcomes, this happened in the learning process applying inappropriate learning. The purpose of this study was to develop secret board and card media (PAKARSA) to improve science learning outcomes. Research on the development of secret board and card media (Secret) uses Research and Development (R&D) research with the Bord & Gall model with 8 stages. This research was conducted on 30 grade IV students at SDN 3 Kawak Jepara. Media validity is based on assessments made by material experts and media experts. Media expert validation 1 obtains 95% results, media expert validation 2 obtains 90% results, thus obtaining an average result of 92.5% % and material expert validation obtains 90% results so that it occupies the lowest learning media which is very feasible. The average pretest score was 49% with 4 students completing and the posttest average score was 80% with 25 students completing. The t-test was used to determine the effectiveness of the learning media used, the results of the t-test showed that sig (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the results of this development research, it can be interpreted that there is an increase in learning outcomes after using board media and secret cards (PAKARSA).

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing the Jigsaw learning model in improving mathematics learning outcomes among fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Kuanyar. The study involved 21 students as subjects, employing a quantitative approach with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. Data collection was conducted using learning outcome tests in each learning cycle. The results indicate that the use of the Jigsaw model significantly positively impacts students' learning outcomes. Data analysis using this method shows a mean value of -29.523, with a standard deviation of 9.47428 and a standard error mean of 2.06746. Furthermore, the obtained t-value is -14.280, with a two-tailed significance of 0.000. Since the significance value is smaller than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), this indicates a significant effect of the learning model on students' learning outcomes. The Jigsaw learning model plays a crucial role in enhancing students' attention and interest during the learning process. This model encourages students to be more confident, responsible, and actively engaged in problem-solving within their groups, making it effective in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Kuanyar.

Abstract

Education plays an important role in shaping individuals to be critical, creative, and independent. However, the learning process in elementary schools is still dominated by conventional lecture methods that do not actively involve students, which affects their low critical thinking skills. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in improving the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Kuanyar, Jepara. The method used is a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 19 students as the research sample. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability using SPSS version 25. The analysis results show a significant increase between the pretest and posttest scores (t-count = 7.833 > t-table = 2.110; sig. = 0.000 < 0.05), which proves that the PBL model is effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills. The implementation of PBL also encourages active participation, group discussions, as well as the ability to solve problems independently and collaboratively. Therefore, the PBL model is a feasible alternative learning strategy to improve the quality of education, particularly in developing critical thinking skills at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to annalyze the influence of the Quantum Teaching model on enhancing students’ critical thinking skills in Natural and Social Science (IPAS) learning for fifth-grade students at SDN 01Petekeyan. The  research employed a One Group Pretest-Posttest design of the Pre-Experiment type. A total of  32 fifth-grade students partisipated, consisting of 22 males and 10 females. The research instruments were pretest and posttest questiond that had been validted and tasted for reliability. Data analysis involved normality tests, homogeneity tests, and paired sample t-tests conducted using SPSS application. The Results showed a significant improvement in students’ critical thinking skills following the implementation of the Quantum Teaching model, with the average pretest score increasing from 58.38 to 77,75 i n the posttest. The t-test analysis yielded a significance value of 0,000 <0,05 indicating that the Quantum Teaching Model had a significant effect on improving students’ critical thinking skills. This model proved to be effective in cretting an interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful learning environment while encouraging students to think reflectively and actively solve problems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan latar belakang rendahnya hasil belajar serta kepahaman siswa pada materi ekosistem alam, disebabkan karena pembelajaran yang dilangsungkan belum memanfaatkan media pembelajaran yang sesuai. Fokus penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book Crossword Puzzle guna meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS siswa SDN 8 Suwawal kelas V. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu, mendorong pada hasil tingkat kesesuaian media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book Crossword Puzzle yang diikembangkan guna mengukur keefektifan media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book Crossword Puzzle pada hasil belajar. Jeniss penelitian ini ialah Research and Development (R&amp;D) dan menerapkan model ADDIE. Penelitian diselenggarakan di SDN 8 Suwawal dengan siswa kelas V sebanyak 15 anak yang menjadi subjek penelitian. Kevalidan media dicapai dari hasil pemeringkatan ahli media beserta ahli materi. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan: (1) hasil uji validasi kelayakan produk oleh 2 ahli media beserta 1 ahli materi memperoleh skor akhir 93%, hingga media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book Crossword Puzzle layak diimplementasikan menjadi sebuah media pembelajaran. (2) hasil pretest-posttest memperlihatkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan sebanyak 52%. Hasil akhir penelitian menyatakan media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book Crossword Puzzle berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar materi ekosistem alam siswa kelas V di SDN 8 Suwawal.This research was carried out against the background of low learning outcomes and students' understanding of natural ecosystem material, due to the fact that the learning that took place had not utilized appropriate learning media. The focus of this research is to develop Pop-Up Book Crossword Puzzle learning media to improve the learning outcomes of SDN 8 Suwawal grade V students. The purpose of this research is to encourage the results of the level of suitability of the Pop-Up Book Crossword Puzzle learning media developed to measure the effectiveness of the Pop-Up Book Crossword Puzzle learning media on learning outcomes. This research is Research and Development (R&amp;D) and applies the ADDIE model. The research was conducted at SDN 8 Suwawal with 15 fifth grade students as the research subjects. The validity of the media was achieved from the ratings of media experts and material experts. The results of this study state: (1) the results of the product feasibility validation test by 2 media experts and 1 material expert obtained a final score of 93%, so that the Pop-Up Book Crossword Puzzle learning media is feasible to be implemented into a learning media. (2) the pretest-posttest results showed that there was an increase of 52%. The final result of the study stated that the Pop-Up Book Crossword Puzzle learning media succeeded in improving the learning outcomes of natural ecosystem material for grade V students at SDN 8 Suwawal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Quantum Teaching terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SDN 1 Bumiharjo pada materi organ pernapasan manusia. Metode yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest dan melibatkan 23 siswa sebagai sampel yang dipilih secara purposive. Tes berpikir kritis diberikan sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model. Hasil uji Paired Sample T-Test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan (p &lt; 0,001), dengan nilai effect size sebesar 6,89 yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Quantum Teaching sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.
