Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis adalah salah satu kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang penting untuk dimiliki oleh siswa SMA terutama dalam pembelajaran matematika. Namun, pada berbagai penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan ini masih tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa SMA berdasarkan kajian literatur sistematis (Systematic Literature Review). Sebanyak 22 artikel relevan yang diterbitkan pada periode 2021-2026 diseleksi melalui protokol PRISMA meliputi tahap identifikasi, penyaringan, kelayakan, dan inklusi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa SMA tergolong rendah, terutama pada indikator elaborating dan contemplating; (2) gaya belajar, gaya kognitif, tipe kepribadian, dan Adversity Quotient mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir reflektif siswa; serta (3) model pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa seperti Problem Based Learning, Open Ended, dan RME berbasis HLT terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis.

Abstract

The complexity of mathematics material at the high school level demands not only cognitive abilities but also support from affective and regulatory factors, particularly self-efficacy and self-regulated learning (SRL). This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design among a population of 12th-grade students at MAN 2 Jakarta, with a sample of 64 12th-grade students selected through purposive sampling based on their engagement in learning integral calculus material. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that met high validity and reliability standards (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.91). Spearman’s rank correlation analysis revealed a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and SRL (r = 0.577; p < 0.001). These results indicate that the higher students’ self-efficacy, the better their SRL skills in mathematics learning. These findings affirm the role of self-efficacy as an important psychological factor in supporting SRL, thus the strengthening of self-efficacy needs to be integrated into mathematics learning strategies at the high school level.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of growth mindset on students' mathematical communication skills mediated by affective factors, namely self-efficacy, learning motivation, self-confidence, and learning independence. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, 15 relevant scholarly articles published between 2021–2025 from Google Scholar were analyzed, adhering to stringent inclusion and exclusion criteria to ensure relevance to mathematics education. Literature synthesis reveals that growth mindset positively impacts these affective factors, which in turn enhance students' mathematical communication abilities, including articulating ideas orally and in writing, linking concrete concepts to symbolic representations, and formulating conjectures and generalizations. Students with a growth mindset exhibit greater persistence, receptivity to constructive feedback, intrinsic motivation, and learning independence, thereby improving the efficacy of their mathematical communication. Integrating growth mindset strategies into mathematics curricula is recommended to address Indonesia's low PISA 2022 mathematics score of 366.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine the influence of emotional intelligence (EI) on students' mathematical communication skills in solving contextual problems through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Data were collected from Google Scholar, SINTA, and Scopus databases, covering 15 articles published between 2022–2026 that met the inclusion criteria. The analysis shows that all 15 studies consistently report a positive and significant influence of EI on mathematical communication skills, with correlation coefficients ranging from r = 0.49 to 0.68 and determination coefficients of R² = 0.38–0.46. Among the five EI indicators (Goleman, 1995), emotion management (self-management) is the most dominant factor (87% of studies), followed by self-motivation (80%), self-awareness (67%), empathy (60%), and social skills (53%). These findings confirm that the affective dimension, especially EI, plays an important role in the quality of students' mathematical communication in contextual problem solving.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze innovations in the Islamic Religious Education (IRE) curriculum from the perspectives of curriculum development, competency-based learning, and character education. The study employed a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data were collected from academic books, peer-reviewed journal articles, educational policy documents, and relevant previous studies. The data were analyzed using content analysis through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that innovations in the IRE curriculum encompass improvements in learning objectives, instructional materials, teaching strategies, learning media, and assessment systems, all of which are oriented toward developing students’ competencies and Islamic character. The implementation of these innovations is supported by active learning approaches, including Problem-Based Learning, Project-Based Learning, collaborative learning, and the integration of digital technology to enhance instructional effectiveness. Furthermore, the curriculum incorporates Islamic values into contemporary issues such as digital literacy, religious moderation, environmental awareness, and social ethics. The successful implementation of curriculum innovation is influenced by teachers’ professional competence, institutional support, the availability of educational facilities and infrastructure, and a school culture that encourages innovation. This study concludes that innovation in the IRE curriculum is a strategic effort to develop religious, ethical, critical-thinking, and adaptive learners who are well prepared to address the challenges of twenty-first-century education

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of financial literacy and economic behavior on financial management. Using a correlational research design with a quantitative approach, this study focuses on a population of 43 scholarship recipients enrolled in the Economics Education program at FKIP Untan, specifically from the 2021-2024 cohorts. The research sample used non-probability sampling techniques with a census/total sampling method involving 43 students. The analysis methods used in this study included descriptive statistics, T-test, Ftest, multiple linear regression, and coefficient of determination. The results of the study show that: 1) financial literacy (X1) has a significant partial effect on financial management (Y); 2) economic behavior (X2) has a significant partial effect on financial management (Y); and 3) there is a simultaneous effect of financial literacy (X1) and economic behavior (X2) on financial management (Y). The coefficient of determination calculated is 0.564, indicating that the contribution of variable X1 and variable X2 in explaining or predicting variable Y is 56.4%. Future researchers are encouraged to explore a wider range of variables, including lifestyle factors, pocket money, income, and other relevant influences.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the profile of teachers' Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) based on seven components, namely Technological Knowledge (TK), Pedagogical Knowledge (PK), Content Knowledge (CK), Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK), Technological Content Knowledge (TCK), Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), without examining the relationships or effects between variables. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach using a survey method. Data were collected through a closed Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 253 economics teachers affiliated with the Subject Teacher Working Group (MGMP) for Economics. Data were analyzed descriptively using mean scores, standard deviations, and a three-level categorization (low, moderate, high) based on mean and standard deviation norms. The results show that the majority of teachers fall into the moderate category across all seven TPACK components, with Technological Content Knowledge (TCK) showing the relatively highest achievement and Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) showing the relatively lowest achievement, particularly on the indicator of understanding students characteristics. The findings indicate that teachers ability to integrate technology with subject content has developed reasonably well, whereas pedagogical competence oriented toward individual student needs still requires strengthening through continuous professional development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether the items in the mathematics anxiety instrument exhibit bias based on school type. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population comprised all senior high school student in Pandeglang Regency. The sample consisted of 425 students from both public and private school, selected using a multistage random sampling technique. The instrument used was an adapted mathematics anxiety questionnaire consisting of 20 items, covering four dimensions of anxiety, namely cognitive, somatic, affective and mathematics knowledge. The data were subsequently analyzed using the Rasch model with the assistance of JMetrik software. The results of this study indicate that 19 items were valid and fit the Rasch model. Of these 19 items, 15 showed no evidence of differential item function, while 4 items were identified with DIF. However, the detected DIF was classified as slight to moderate, indicating no substantial item bias. Therefore, the instrument remains appropriate for measuring mathematics anxiety among public and private senior high school students.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in improving students’ mathematical problem-solving ability through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The review was conducted by applying the PRISMA approach to identify, screen, evaluate, and synthesize relevant studies obtained from Google Scholar within the 2019–2026 publication range. A total of 26 documents were initially identified, and 16 empirical primary studies were selected as the main corpus for synthesis, while 6 studies were categorized as conditional articles and 4 documents were excluded. The results showed that CTL tended to have a positive effect on students’ mathematical problem-solving ability across various educational levels, particularly in elementary school and junior high school contexts. The findings also indicated that the effectiveness of CTL was influenced by several factors, such as students’ learning independence, learning interest, and variations in instructional implementation. Overall, this review concluded that CTL was a promising learning model for enhancing students’ mathematical problem-solving ability, although its effectiveness remained contextual and depended on the quality of implementation.

Abstract

The cultivation of fiqh muamalah values in schools is essential for developing students' Islamic character, particularly in social interactions and economic activities based on Islamic principles. However, the implementation of these values among students remains inconsistent, indicating the need for teachers to play a more active educational role. This study aimed to analyze the role of fiqh teachers in instilling fiqh muamalah values and to identify the values emphasized in learning activities at MTs Nurul Iman Pomalaa, Kolaka Regency. This research employed a qualitative approach with phenomenological and philosophical perspectives. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving fiqh teachers, school leaders, and students. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source, technique, and time triangulation. The findings revealed that fiqh teachers performed strategic roles as educators, mentors, motivators, role models, and evaluators in cultivating fiqh muamalah values. The values emphasized included honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility, mutual assistance, politeness, and fairness, which were implemented through classroom instruction, habituation, exemplary conduct, advice, and continuous supervision. The study highlights the importance of integrating fiqh muamalah values into daily educational practices to strengthen students' Islamic character.
