Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hakikat IPA, pembelajaran IPA, dan pendekatan saintifik dalam pem-belajaran IPA di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Metode penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan didasarkan pada hasil pengamatan, pengalaman, dan kajian pustaka dari berbagai sumber informasi. Hakikat IPA meliputi empat unsur, yaitu produk, proses, apli-kasi dan sikap. Produk dapat berupa fakta, prinsip, teori, dan hukum. Proses merupakan prosedur pemecahan masalah melalui metode ilmi-ah; metode ilmiah meliputi pengamatan, penyusunan hipotesis, peran-cangan eksperimen, percobaan atau penyelidikan, pengujian hipotesis melalui eksperimentasi, evaluasi, pengukuran, dan penarikan kesim-pulan. Aplikasi merupakan penerapan metode atau kerja ilmiah dan konsep IPA dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sikap merupakan rasa ingin tahu tentang obyek, fenomena alam, makhluk hidup, serta hubungan sebab akibat yang menimbulkan masalah baru yang dapat dipecahkan melalui prosedur yang benar. Pembelajaran IPA di SD/MI dipergunakan metode ilmiah dengan mengembangkan ketrampilan proses dasar untuk SD/MI kelas rendah dan ketrampilan proses terintegrasi untuk SD/MI kelas tinggi. Pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran meliputi meng-amati, menanya, mengasosiasi, mencoba, dan membentuk jejaring/mengkomunikasikan.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match dalam pembelajaran IPA. Secara spesifik, tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk; pertama, mengetahui hakikat dan unsur pembelajaran kooperatif. Kedua, mengetahui kelebihan dan kekurangan pembelajaran kooperatif serta pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match. Berdasarkan temuan hasil penelitian terdahulu diperoleh bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match dapat meningkatkan semangat dan keaktifan siswa, meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa, serta meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA. Dengan demikian, disarankan bagi guru untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes.student laziness can be caused by ineffective teaching and learning processes, the teacher is not right in determining the learning model and does not use teaching aids as a medium for learning mathematics, this results in the low student learning outcomes, the purpose of this research is to find out the activities of student and teachers in mathematics learning the addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers in improving student learning outcomes by using abacus media, the method used is classroom action research, research design using chemistry and mc. Design taggart which consists of four steps namely planning the implementation of observation and reflection which carried out two cycles, the subjects og this study were all students of class 1 MI AL-HUSNA Pasirnangka.the results of the study show that the use of abacus media can improve student learning outcomes MI Al-Husna Pasirnangka in terms of student activities in the learning process and learning outcomes this can be seen from the percentage of learning process activities and learning outcomes in cycle 1 that is 50%, then an increase in cycle II the percentage of learning process activities and learning outcomes in cycles II is 90%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze class management, interest in learning, and the influence of class management on students' learning interests at SMP Maulana Hasanuddin Cilegon. The research method uses a survey. A total of 30 students were sampled in this study. The data collection technique used is the saturated sampling technique—data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis using simple regression. The results of the study can conclude that the level of class management of 67.26% is in the medium category, interest in learning of 66.36% is in the medium category, and there is a significant effect (0.857 > 0.374) between the variables of class management on interest in learning at a significant level 5%. Thus, this finding strengthens the previous results, and further research needs to be done regarding other variables that affect students' interest in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the method of playing a role in student confidence in Indonesian subjects. The quasi-experimental method is used as a research method with the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design research design. The population of all students in the primary school state of Cilaku. Samples were taken as many as 48 students from the VA class of 24 students as the control class and the VB class of 24 as the experimental class. The data analysis technique used in determining the average, calculating the standard deviation, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The results showed that the variable of students 'confidence using the role-playing method obtained an average posttest score of 78.33. In contrast, the results of students' confidence using conventional learning received an average posttest score of 66.17. Then the hypothesis test is performed, which shows the results of t count 4.09 and t table = 2.074 with n-2 = 24-2 = 22 and a significance level of 0.05. Based on the t count ˃ t-test criteria, Ha is accepted, and Ho is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that the role-playing method influences students' confidence in Indonesian subjects.

Abstract

The purpose of this article was to determine the application of the talking stick learning method, choose students' learning activities, and analyze the effect of the talking stick learning method on students' learning activities in the history of Islamic culture at MTs Negeri 3 Cilegon. This research uses a quantitative approach and a quasi-experimental type of research with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study was all VIII graders at MTsN 3 Cilegon City, which consisted of 6 classes with 192 people. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is an observation sheet. The results showed that the application of the talking stick learning method was carried out well, students' learning activities were higher, and the t-count was 74,823, which was greater than the t-table at a significant rate of 0.05, namely 2.042. Thus, the study results conclude that applying the talking stick learning method in the history of Islamic culture at MTsN 3 Cilegon City provides better outcomes for student learning activities.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan model snowball throwing terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik materi wujud benda di kelas IV SD Negeri Koroncong tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah pre ekperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest dengan sampel 22 Peserta didik. Data hasil belajar IPA dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda. Nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 39,5 sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 79,86, yang kemudian dianalisis dengan uji hipotesis (uji t). Hasil perhitungan menunjukan thitung sebesar 26,20, ttabel sebesar 1,72 dengan df 21 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian, thitung ≥ ttabel yaitu 26,20 ≥ 1,72, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian menyimpulkan adanya pengaruh penerapan model snowball throwing terhadap hasil belajar IPA materi wujud benda di kelas IV SDN Koroncong.Kata Kunci: Model Snowball Throwing, Hasil Belajar IPA, Wujud BendaAbstract: This study aims to analyze whether or not there is an effect of the application of the snowball throwing model toward the learning outcomes of science students in material forms in class IV Koroncong State Elementary School 2018/2019. The method used was a pre-experimental design of the One Group Pretest-Posttest with a sample of 22 students. Science learning outcomes data were collected using multiple-choice tests. The average pretest score was 39.5 while the post-test mean score was 79.86, which was then analyzed by hypothesis testing (t-test). Calculation results show that t count is 26.20, the t table is 1.72 with df 21 at a significance level of 0.05. Based on the test criteria, t count ≥ t table is 26.20 ≥ 1.72, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to overcome student’s misconception towards nervous system material through concept map. This research applies action research as the method which consists of four steps in namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research is class B of the 9th-grade students of SMPN 2 Legok Kabupaten Tangerang. The total of students is 34 students. This action research was held in October 2012. The results of research reveal that the application of concept map in nervous system learning material is able to overcome misconception problem of the students.  Cycle 1 reveals that the misconception reduced to as much as 36.5% and it increases in cycle 2 for as much as 40.6%.

Abstract

Pendidikan kecakapan hidup (life skill) merupakan kecakapan-kecakapan yang secara praktis dapat membekali peserta didik dalam mengatasi berbagai macam persoalan hidup dan kehidupan. Kecakapan itu menyangkut aspek pengetahuan, sikap yang didalamnya termasuk fisik dan mental, serta kecakapan kejuruan yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan akhlak peserta didik sehingga mampu menghadapi tuntutan dan tantangan hidup dalam kehidupan. Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Hasanah Ilmu merupakan salah satu bentuk kepedulian masyarakat terhadap upaya pemerintah dalam mewujudkan masyarakat yang responsif terhadap perkembangan transformasi informasi melalui pendidikan non formal dan berupaya melakukan pendekatan dengan masyarakat dan pemerintah setempat agar remaja kurang mampu dapat belajar kembali meskipun usia mereka bukan lagi usia sekolah formal. Pendidikan life skills yang dilaksanakan di PKBM Hasanah Ilmu pada aspek personal skills, aspek social skills dan aspek vocasional skill melalui beberapa bentuk pelatihan diantaranya cetak sablon, elektronik, tata boga, budidaya cabe, pengisian SPPT Pajak P 21 dan P 22. Kata kunci: Pendidikan, life skill.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze and discribe the interaction of the teacher's personality competence with job satisfaction. This article uses the correlational method. A total of 68 madrasa teachers in South Tangerang were used as respondents. Primary data was obtained through the Google Forms platform, which was distributed within two weeks. At the same time, secondary data was obtained from references related to job satisfaction and personality competence. The instrument used in the study was a questionnaire compiled according to a validated Likert scale. Data analysis using a simple regression test. The results showed that there was an interaction between the teacher's personality competence and job satisfaction. The study of both is discussed further. The recommendation of this study is that teachers can improve personality competencies because it is proven to be related to their job satisfaction in madrasas.
