The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the method of playing a role in student confidence in Indonesian subjects. The quasi-experimental method is used as a research method with the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design research design. The population of all students in the primary school state of Cilaku. Samples were taken as many as 48 students from the VA class of 24 students as the control class and the VB class of 24 as the experimental class. The data analysis technique used in determining the average, calculating the standard deviation, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The results showed that the variable of students 'confidence using the role-playing method obtained an average posttest score of 78.33. In contrast, the results of students' confidence using conventional learning received an average posttest score of 66.17. Then the hypothesis test is performed, which shows the results of t count 4.09 and t table = 2.074 with n-2 = 24-2 = 22 and a significance level of 0.05. Based on the t count ˃ t-test criteria, Ha is accepted, and Ho is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that the role-playing method influences students' confidence in Indonesian subjects.

PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL SNOWBALL THROWING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA DI SEKOLAH DASAR Emah Hujaemah; Asep Saefurrohman; Juhji Juhji

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan model snowball throwing terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik materi wujud benda di kelas IV SD Negeri Koroncong tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah pre ekperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest dengan sampel 22 Peserta didik. Data hasil belajar IPA dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda. Nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 39,5 sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 79,86, yang kemudian dianalisis dengan uji hipotesis (uji t). Hasil perhitungan menunjukan thitung sebesar 26,20, ttabel sebesar 1,72 dengan df 21 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian, thitung ≥ ttabel yaitu 26,20 ≥ 1,72, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian menyimpulkan adanya pengaruh penerapan model snowball throwing terhadap hasil belajar IPA materi wujud benda di kelas IV SDN Koroncong.Kata Kunci: Model Snowball Throwing, Hasil Belajar IPA, Wujud BendaAbstract: This study aims to analyze whether or not there is an effect of the application of the snowball throwing model toward the learning outcomes of science students in material forms in class IV Koroncong State Elementary School 2018/2019. The method used was a pre-experimental design of the One Group Pretest-Posttest with a sample of 22 students. Science learning outcomes data were collected using multiple-choice tests. The average pretest score was 39.5 while the post-test mean score was 79.86, which was then analyzed by hypothesis testing (t-test). The purpose of this research is to overcome student’s misconception towards nervous system material through concept map. This research applies action research as the method which consists of four steps in namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research is class B of the 9th-grade students of SMPN 2 Legok Kabupaten Tangerang. The total of students is 34 students. This action research was held in October 2012. The results of research reveal that the application of concept map in nervous system learning material is able to overcome misconception problem of the students. Cycle 1 reveals that the misconception reduced to as much as 36.5% and it increases in cycle 2 for as much as 40.6%.

Pendidikan kecakapan hidup (life skill) merupakan kecakapan-kecakapan yang secara praktis dapat membekali peserta didik dalam mengatasi berbagai macam persoalan hidup dan kehidupan. Kecakapan itu menyangkut aspek pengetahuan, sikap yang didalamnya termasuk fisik dan mental, serta kecakapan kejuruan yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan akhlak peserta didik sehingga mampu menghadapi tuntutan dan tantangan hidup dalam kehidupan. Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Hasanah Ilmu merupakan salah satu bentuk kepedulian masyarakat terhadap upaya pemerintah dalam mewujudkan masyarakat yang responsif terhadap perkembangan transformasi informasi melalui pendidikan non formal dan berupaya melakukan pendekatan dengan masyarakat dan pemerintah setempat agar remaja kurang mampu dapat belajar kembali meskipun usia mereka bukan lagi usia sekolah formal. Pendidikan life skills yang dilaksanakan di PKBM Hasanah Ilmu pada aspek personal skills, aspek social skills dan aspek vocasional skill melalui beberapa bentuk pelatihan diantaranya cetak sablon, elektronik, tata boga, budidaya cabe, pengisian SPPT Pajak P 21 dan P 22. Kata kunci: Pendidikan, life skill.

This article aims to analyze and discribe the interaction of the teacher's personality competence with job satisfaction. This article uses the correlational method. A total of 68 madrasa teachers in South Tangerang were used as respondents. Primary data was obtained through the Google Forms platform, which was distributed within two weeks. At the same time, secondary data was obtained from references related to job satisfaction and personality competence. The instrument used in the study was a questionnaire compiled according to a validated Likert scale. Data analysis using a simple regression test. The results showed that there was an interaction between the teacher's personality competence and job satisfaction. The study of both is discussed further. The recommendation of this study is that teachers can improve personality competencies because it is proven to be related to their job satisfaction in madrasas.

Guru memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam mengkondisikan suasana pembelajaran, sehingga guru dan siswa dapat secara bersama-sama dalam proses belajar mengajar yang kondusif sehingga tujuan dari pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) adalah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang benda-benda yang ada di sekitar kita atau fenomena alam dan gejala yang menyertainya. Dalam proses pembelajaran IPA dari dulu sampai sekarang dipandang menjadi sesuatu yang sulit, padahal IPA mempelajari hal-hal yang dapat dilihat, dirasakan dan dipikirkan. Kesulitan siswa dalam mempelajari IPA paling tidak ditentukan oleh dua faktor yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Tulisan ini bertujuan membantu guru dalam menentukan sebuah model pembelajaran IPA sehingga kesulitan belajar siswa dalam mempelajari IPA dapat diatasi. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang bisa dijadikan rujukan adalah model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E yaitu suatu model pembelajaran yang memungkinkan siswa menemukan konsep sendiri atau memantapkan konsep yang dipelajari, mencegah terjadinya kesalahan konsep, dan memberikan peluang kepada siswa untuk menerapkan konsep-konsep yang telah dipelajari pada situasi baru. Learning Cycle 5E meliputi 5 tahapan, yaitu engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration, dan evaluation.

This study aims to explain the understanding of management, scope of management, and leadership of Islamic education. Library studies are used as a method of research. The data is retrieved, collected, and analyzed from scientific books and journals that have similar topics, then used as writings and summations. The results showed that management activities cover a broad spectrum, ranging from activities to determining the direction of the organization in the future, creating organizational activities, encouraging cooperation between fellow members of the organization, and overseeing activities in achieving the goals. Islamic education leadership is a leadership process in Islamic education to move, influence, motivate, and direct people within educational institutions to achieve the goals that have been formulated.

This paper aims to explain the implementation of the planning function of lecturer quality development at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang, West Sumatera and integrating the cultural values of achievement in the planning function. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are done through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis procedures use data reduction, data display, and verification. While the research subjects are leaders, lecturers, and students. The results of this study indicate that: a) The planning of lecturer quality development activities at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang, has been quite good. Nevertheless, the relatively minimal budgeting problems can affect the optimization of the realization of planned activities; b) Integrating the achievement cultural in the planning function of lecturer quality development activities in tertiary institutions, is to be an endeavor to initiate changes in tertiary institutions that constantly necessitates improved management in an increasingly efficient, effective and productive direction.

The low quality of education refers to teachers' low work motivation and job satisfaction. These two variables are important because they affect their performance in madrasas. Therefore, this paper aims to analyze the relationship between teacher work motivation and madrasah teachers job satisfaction in the last ten years. This research uses meta-analysis and systematic review using JASP 0.14.1.0 software. The data found as many as 25 papers through a search, and nine papers were selected according to predetermined characteristics. The data taken from the selected articles is the number of samples (N) and the correlation value (r) in each paper, and then the effect size is analyzed. The study results found that the effect size value resulting from the relationship between the two variables was 0.610, with a moderate category at a 95 per cent confidence level at an interval of 0.450 to 0.770. The meta-analysis results in this study have stated the consistency of the results of previous studies and have strengthened existing theories, so it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between work motivation and madrasah teachers job satisfaction. Recommendations from the results of this study, it is necessary to conduct further research on job satisfaction of honorary teachers at every level of madrasah education.

This article aims to analyze descriptively how teaching and learning strategies that can be carried out by educators in an effort to improve learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education. The method used is a qualitative method with a literature review approach. Some primary and secondary references are taken from reputable research, books and journals. Data collection is through documentation, while data analysis uses content analysis. The results of the analysis revealed that the teaching and learning strategies of Islamic subject educators can use several learning methods. The strategy is in the conceptual position contained in the learning implementation plan. While the method is in a practical level position, where the teacher can actualize his plans into the methods he chooses such as modeling, giving advice, habituation, lectures, questions and answers, discussions, and demonstrations.
