Abstract

This paper aims to explore the concept of accountability and good governance in the management of Islamic education. This research uses a qualitative approach for library research type. The discussion data was obtained from primary and secondary data derived from books and journals of international and national reputable. Content analysis is used as an analysis technique. The results of the study show that accountability and good governance in Islamic education management is the obligation of schools to account for the management, control of resources, and the implementation of policies entrusted to institutions in order to achieve the goals that have been set. The study recommends schools to implement accountability and good governance in Islamic education management.

Abstract

There is a tendency to ignore students' affective skills from the science learning process in the classroom. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to develop a holistic science-based learning video in order to improve the affective skills of students. The research method used is the research and development of the ADDIE model. A total of 14 students involved themselves as subjects in a limited test. The results showed that the holistic-based learning video developed by the researcher was suitable for improving the affective skills of the fifth-grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The media and materials expert validation test results showed that the percentages were 81 percent and 89 percent, respectively, in the very feasible category. The responses of teachers and students also show the same thing, which shows that the video is very suitable to be used to improve students' affective skills. This research recommends that students' affective skills can be improved through holistic science-based learning videos.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice of Human Resource (HR) management functions in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Yogyakarta III from a quality perspective. The research method used is descriptive qualitative through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses the stages of reduction, presentation, and inference. The results showed that, at MAN Yogyakarta III, the institution's quality is quite influenced by implementing the Human Resource Management (HRM) function, which can be seen in the form of internal and external customer satisfaction. For internal customers, customer satisfaction can be seen from the increase in psychological development, such as opportunities for personnel to continue to learn and develop abilities, assist personnel in developing their talents and creativity as well as efforts to create an atmosphere and culture that can make personnel feel satisfied and comfortable. As for external customers, satisfaction increases physical and psychological development, such as achievement scholarship programs, coaching, parallel achievements, a conducive learning atmosphere, family relationships between teachers and students, good learning services, capacity building, and creativity.

Abstract

This article examines the utilization of the PowToon animated film, integrated with the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach, in enhancing the critical thinking skills of primary school students. Employing the ADDIE model methodology, this research involved 20 students as its subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, and evaluation of critical thinking skills. During the analysis phase, expert validation served as the foundational consideration, and the results of the students' critical thinking skills test were subsequently analyzed comparatively. The findings revealed that the PowToon animation with the STEM approach received positive feedback from experts, with scores of 92.50% from subject matter specialists, 89.50% from media experts, and 91.00% from linguistic authorities. When the topics of temperature and heat were presented through this animation, a significant improvement in the students' critical thinking abilities was observed. In conclusion, the STEM-based PowToon animation demonstrates its potential as an innovative and effective educational tool.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the level of transformational leadership style, employee job satisfaction, and organizational commitment in pesantren (Islamic boarding school) and assess the role of job satisfaction as a mediator in the relationship between transformational leadership style and organizational commitment. The study used the quantitative method by surveying 556 educators from each Darunnajah Islamic boarding school branch in Indonesia. Information examination utilized numerous relapse investigation to test the inquire about theory and progressive relapse examination to test the intervention speculation. The study found that transformational authority, representative work fulfillment, and organizational commitment at Islamic boarding schools were more than direct. In expansion, representative work fulfillment can intercede between transformational authority and organizational commitment.

Abstract

Job satisfaction and professional development are the talks of teachers in facing the challenges of 21st-century learning, where they must be able to adapt to the progress and development of information and communication in technology. Therefore, this article aims to analyze teacher job satisfaction, professional development, and the interaction between the two during the pandemic. A total of 232 public and private school teachers in urban areas were used as research samples. The sampling technique used a random technique. The research used an instrument developed and validated, then distributed through the principal and school supervisor, and the data were analyzed using the correlation technique. During the pandemic, the results revealed a high level of job satisfaction for state Islamic school teachers and a low level of job satisfaction for private Islamic school teachers, as well as a high level of professional development in both public and private Islamic schools and a moderate positive correlation between teacher job satisfaction and professional development in urban schools. Therefore, teachers should develop and carry out professional development in facing the challenges of 21st-century learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this article was to determine the application of the talking stick learning method, choose students' learning activities, and analyze the effect of the talking stick learning method on students' learning activities in the history of Islamic culture at MTs Negeri 3 Cilegon. This research uses a quantitative approach and a quasi-experimental type of research with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study was all VIII graders at MTsN 3 Cilegon City, which consisted of 6 classes with 192 people. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is an observation sheet. The results showed that the application of the talking stick learning method was carried out well, students' learning activities were higher, and the t-count was 74,823, which was greater than the t-table at a significant rate of 0.05, namely 2.042. Thus, the study results conclude that applying the talking stick learning method in the history of Islamic culture at MTsN 3 Cilegon City provides better outcomes for student learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of parental attention on students learning motivation in online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. The research method uses a quantitative approach. As many as 30 madrasah Tsanawiyah children aged 13-16 years were sampled in the study, they were given 20 questions related to learning motivation and parental attention. The selection of samples was conducted randomly in the pabuaran sub-district of Serang Regency, Banten Province in 2021. This study uses descriptive quantitative methods. Research instruments using questionnaires through Google Form. The data analysis method is done with the help of a computer software application program, SPSS 25 for windows. From the results of the data analysis known regression equation Y = 11.075 + 0.696. While the results of the T test obtained the results of the provisions of the Jubilee for df = 28 with an error rate of 0.05 or 5% is 1,701. While Thitung obtained from this study showed a value of 4,140. Because t hitung > t table = 4,140 > 1,701 ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. And the results of the calculation of determination test obtained the number R² of 0.380 or 38%. This indicates that the percentage influence of independent variables affects dependent variables by 38% while the rest by (100-38% = 62%) influenced by other variables or indicators not studied in this study. Thus, the results of the study concluded the influence of parental attention to the motivation of learning madrasah Tsanawiyah students in the district pabuaran Serang Banten Province. This study recommends parents to pay more attention to the child so that the child's learning motivation increases.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kelayakan modul pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam berbasis integrasi Pendidikan Agama Islam pada materi Hewan dan Tumbuhan di kelas IV SDN 03 Anyar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research and Development, menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penilaian untuk kelayakan modul ini yaitu ahli media, ahli materi, guru kelas dan siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, angket, wawancara dan soal tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil presentase validasi ahli media mendapat skor 91,2 % termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak/valid. Hasil validasi ahli materi mendapat skor 95 % termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak/valid dan hasil validasi guru kelas mendapat skor 75 % termasuk dalam kategori layak/valid. Selanjutnya hasil uji coba perorangan diperoleh skor 96 % berdasarkan konversi nilai skala likert skor tersebut masuk dalam kategori sangat baik (sangat layak). Hasil uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh skor 95,6 % berdasarkan konversi nilai skala likert skor tersebut masuk dalam kategori sangat baik (sangat layak). Hasil uji coba lapangan diperoleh skor 96,8 % berdasarkan konversi nilai skala likert skor tersebut masuk dalam kategori sangat baik (sangat layak). Dapat dinyatakan bahwa modul pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam berbasis integrasi Pendidikan Agama Islm pada materi hewan dan tumbuhan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas IV SDN 03 Anyar.
