Abstract

The problem based learning model is an approach proposed to improve students' natural science learning outcomes. This study aims to investigate the influence of PBL on science learning outcomes in elementary schools through systematic literature analysis. The literature study method was used to analyze ten scientific articles related to PBL and science learning outcomes in elementary schools. The results of the analysis show that PBL is effective in stimulating interest in learning, strengthening critical thinking skills, and improving problem-solving abilities in a scientific context. The implication of this research is the need for support in training and professional development for educators, as well as further research to identify key factors that influence the success of PBL implementation. The integration of PBL into the science education curriculum needs to be strengthened through collaboration between education stakeholders. Thus, the use of PBL is expected to improve students' science learning outcomes in a holistic and sustainable manner.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Perencanaan pemasaran pendidikan 2) Pelaksanaan pemasaran pendidikan 3) Pengendalian pemasaran pendidikan 4) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasi manajemen pemasaran pendidikan 5) solusi mengatasi hambatan implementasi manajemen pemasaran pendidikan (6) citra sekolah sebelum implementasi manajemen pemasaran pendidikan (7) peningkatan citra sekolah setelah implementasi manajemen pemasaran pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif Studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Abstract

Keterampilan awal yang perlu dimiliki siswa madrasah ibtidaiyah khususnya untuk membentuk kemampuan keagamaannya adalah membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an. Namun, tidak sedikit siswa yang masih mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an. Sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam, MI Islamiyah Ciwaru juga menghadapi tantangan. Sebagian siswa mampu membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an dengan lancar, tetapi ada juga siswa yang belum menjangkau kemampuan yang diharapkan. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan pendekatan yang lebih efektif yang dapat membuat semua siswa bisa meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an. Salah satu metode yang dinilai efektif dan dapat membantu siswa adalah metode pembiasaan. Metode pembiasaan ini merupakan metode yang melibatkan latihan secara terus-menerus dan konsisten, sehingga siswa terbiasa dan lebih mudah menguasai kemampuan membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana penerapan metode pembiasaan membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an di MI Islamiyah Ciwaru dan juga mengidentifikasi sejauh mana metode ini berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan siswa serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil dari metode tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode pembiasaan di MI Islamiyah Ciwaru berjalan dengan baik dan memberikan dampak yang positif terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an. Pembiasaan ini tidak hanya membantu dalam keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga membentuk sikap positif terhadap aktivitas keagamaan, di mana siswa lebih merasa nyaman dan termotivasi untuk terus belajar Al-Qur'an. Meskipun demikian, penerapan metode ini memerlukan dukungan penuh dari seluruh elemen pendidikan, termasuk guru, siswa, dan keluarga. Oleh karena itu, keberhasilan metode pembiasaan sangat dipengaruhi oleh keterlibatan semua pihak dalam proses pendidikan. Kata Kunci: Pembiasaan, Baca Tulis Al-quran

Abstract

Maulid Nabi Muhammad adalah salah satu peringatan besar umat Islam Indonesia. Di lingkungan sekolah Islam, khususnya di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), peringatan ini tidak hanya menjadi momen perayaan, tetapi juga sarana efektif dalam memperkenalkan dan menguatkan nilai-nilai teladan Nabi Muhammad SAW sebagai figur sentral dalam ajaran Islam. MI Islamiyah Ciwaru adalah salah satu madrasah di Kecamatan Cipocok Jaya Kota Serang Provinsi Banten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penguatan karakter religius siswa di MI Islamiyah Ciwaru melalui kegiatan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penguatan karakter religius dalam kegiatan peringatan maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW yaitu melalui kegiatan panjang mulud, pelombaan-perlombaan, dzikir dan do’a bersama, santunan terhadap anak yatim serta pembagian hadiah.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of public relations management in improving the image of Islamic boarding schools. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative case study. This research was conducted at Tarbiyatul Mubtadiin Islamic Boarding School, Pasirnangka Tigaraksa, Tangerang, Banten Province. The informants of this study were the pesantren leaders, the head of the public relations department, the administrators of the pesantren, the teachers' administrators, the students' parents, and the surrounding community: the researcher's research instruments, interview guidelines, and observation guidelines. Data analysis includes data reduction and presentation, as well as concluding. The research results indicate that public relations management at Tarbiyatul Mubtadiin Pesantren Pasirnangka Tigaraksa Tangerang is very influential in improving the image of the pesantren, with a sound management system in the form of planning, implementation, and evaluation. All programs can run according to their original purpose. Public relations management at Tarbiyatul Mubtadiin Islamic Boarding School, Pasirnangka Tigaraksa Tangerang, is very effective both in implementation and the results obtained. Although several challenges and obstacles must be faced, all of them can be overcome with a sound public relations management system to achieve a good image.

Abstract

This study examines how Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers' motivation for their work and pay interact. A survey method was employed in this study. Thirty teachers from Madrasah Tsanawiyah Cibeber Lebak Regency participated in this study. A Likert scale questionnaire with five verified response alternatives was used as the study tool. The teacher used a printed copy of the instrument to collect the instruments. According to the study, teacher work motivation is 74.80% in the very good category, and compensation is in the very good category with an achievement level of 74.78%. The correlation coefficient r is 0.70, indicating a significant and sufficient connection. Of the elements influencing teacher job motivation, 49% are related to compensation, and the remaining 51% are determined by additional factors not included in this research and which need more investigation. The study's findings indicate that remuneration and work motivation are significantly correlated. The study's conclusions suggest boosting teachers' enthusiasm at work by giving them more money through various supportive initiatives.

Abstract

This study examined the relationship between prophetic leadership and job satisfaction among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in Indonesia. The research method used a quantitative research design with survey techniques. Data were collected from 179 facilitator teachers in 27 provinces using a validated Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis used regression tests to assess the effect of prophetic leadership on job satisfaction. Findings showed a significant positive correlation, indicating that a 1% increase in prophetic leadership was associated with a 0.514 increase in job satisfaction. It suggests that enhancing the principles of prophetic leadership within an education management framework can significantly improve teachers' well-being and the overall quality of education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This study underscores the importance of integrating moral and spiritual dimensions into Islamic education, encouraging a more inclusive and dignified work environment for educators. The implications of the findings advocate a shift towards a leadership model that prioritizes ethical considerations, potentially leading to sustainable improvements in educational practices and outcomes.

Abstract

This article examines the utilization of the PowToon animated film, integrated with the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach, in enhancing the critical thinking skills of primary school students. Employing the ADDIE model methodology, this research involved 20 students as its subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, and evaluation of critical thinking skills. During the analysis phase, expert validation served as the foundational consideration, and the results of the students' critical thinking skills test were subsequently analyzed comparatively. The findings revealed that the PowToon animation with the STEM approach received positive feedback from experts, with scores of 92.50% from subject matter specialists, 89.50% from media experts, and 91.00% from linguistic authorities. When the topics of temperature and heat were presented through this animation, a significant improvement in the students' critical thinking abilities was observed. In conclusion, the STEM-based PowToon animation demonstrates its potential as an innovative and effective educational tool.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of problem-solving learning on the critical thinking skills students. A quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design was used.  The sample consisted of 5th-grade students from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Serang, with 27 in the experimental class and 27 in the control class. Data collection involved observation and tests using a validated multiple-choice instrument. Normality and homogeneity tests preceded data analysis using the t-test.  Results showed significant improvements in both classes, with the experimental class implementing the problem-solving model outperforming the control class using conventional methods.  The t-test significance (2-tailed) was 0.007, indicating a significant difference in critical thinking skills between the groups. This finding supports the effectiveness of active learning approaches in fostering higher-order thinking skills where developing critical thinking is essential to fulfilling human responsibilities in living a meaningful life.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of a series of picture media in enhancing the Javanese Serang speaking skills of first-grade students at SDIT Bina Insan. Six teachers and twenty students participated in semi-structured interviews and classroom observations over four weeks to gather data using a qualitative research approach. The effect of the media on pupils' speaking development was investigated using thematic analysis. The findings reveal notable improvements in pronunciation, vocabulary usage, and student participation during speaking activities. Additionally, students showed increased enthusiasm and engagement during Javanese language lessons. These results suggest that series picture media, with its colourful and contextually rich illustrations, is an effective pedagogical tool for promoting active language use and learner motivation. The study concludes that integrating visual-based media in early-grade language instruction can enhance language acquisition. It is recommended that educators incorporate such media to foster communicative competence and maintain learner interest in local language education.
