Abstract

This research is motivated by the existing disparities in access to and quality of Islamic education in Kendari City. In this context, the establishment of Muhammadiyah educational institutions becomes crucial to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education). This study employs a descriptive qualitative design, with research sites located in several Muhammadiyah schools and madrasahs in Kendari City. The participants include school principals, teachers, administrators of the Muhammadiyah regional boards, and students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the existence of Muhammadiyah in the field of Islamic education in Kendari contributes to the realization of SDG 4 on Quality Education through four key aspects: (1) the establishment of educational institutions, (2) the improvement of community education, (3) the promotion of moderate and progressive Islamic education through inclusive Muhammadiyah schools, and (4) the integration of Muhammadiyah education with the objectives of SDG 4. This suggests that strengthening the quality of Muhammadiyah education in Kendari requires a collaborative approach involving the organization, the government, and the community. Such collaboration should be accompanied by innovations in financing, management, and human resource development to ensure the sustainable achievement of the goals of providing equitable and high-quality Islamic education.

Abstract

The growing demand for modern housing and the shifting preferences of younger generations in Indramayu Regency have made it increasingly important to understand the factors that shape consumers’ purchase intentions. This study examines the effects of property physical appearance, social environment, and lifestyle on purchase intention. A quantitative method was employed by distributing questionnaires to prospective buyers and residents in three housing clusters: Pesona Estate, Pesona Citra Residence 2, and Graha Sudirman Cluster Alamanda. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to assess validity, reliability, direct effects, and moderating effects. The findings indicate that the physical appearance of the property has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, highlighting building aesthetics, construction quality, and modern design as crucial factors in shaping consumer perceptions. The social environment also shows a positive and significant influence through perceptions of safety, comfort, accessibility, and social cohesion. However, lifestyle is found to exert a negative moderating effect on the relationship between both physical appearance and social environment with purchase intention, suggesting differences in visual and social preferences among Millennial and Gen Z consumers. An R2 value of 0,962 demonstrates that the three variables collectively explain 96,2% of the variance in purchase intention. These findings emphasize the importance of housing development strategies that integrate high quality physical design, stronger social interaction, and targeted lifestyle segmentation to enhance consumer appeal and purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze efforts to improve graduate quality through the integration of the Networked Model curriculum at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri and Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Babakan Ciwaringin, Cirebon. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and curriculum document analysis, and were thematically analyzed using the CIPP evaluation framework (Context, Input, Process, Product). The findings indicate that the madrasahs possess contextual strengths in the form of a religious academic culture, strong internal teacher capacity, and institutional networks that support curriculum integration. However, a gap was identified between administratively driven curriculum policies and organically developed networked integration practices at the instructional level. Curriculum evaluation tends to focus on the fulfillment of formal indicators and has not been optimally utilized as a basis for reflective practice and strategic decision-making. This study concludes that improving the quality of madrasah graduates requires the strengthening of reflective, adaptive, and contextual curriculum evaluation to ensure that madrasah strengths can be managed sustainably.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of corporate governance mechanisms and sustainability performance on firm value in energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2024 period. Using balanced panel data and employing a Fixed Effects Model, the analysis examines the roles of board independence, board size, audit committee, institutional ownership, sustainability performance, and firm size in explaining firm value. The results show that independent commissioners have a positive and significant effect on firm value, indicating that effective board independence enhances monitoring quality and investor confidence. Other governance attributes and sustainability performance do not exhibit significant effects, suggesting that formal governance structures and sustainability initiatives are not immediately reflected in market valuation. The overall model is statistically significant and explains a moderate proportion of the variation in firm value. These findings imply that investors in the energy sector prioritize governance quality over structural compliance and short-term sustainability disclosures. The study provides empirical evidence on the relevance of corporate governance in shaping firm value within a capital-intensive and environmentally sensitive industry context.
