Abstract

Attitude is an aspect that needs attention because it is a polemic problem in children today. This article aims to initiate the concept of art learning as a social emotional learning program. It can be said that art education has a further meaning than just a process of transferring knowledge and skills, but art education can be used as an effort to develop Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Intellectual (IQ) this is because art education itself is based on mental (moral), analysis, and synthesis, besides that art is seen as having the essential value to touch one's emotional plain. Literature review is the method in this research with data collection techniques from keyword searches: (1) social emotional learning and (2) art learning for children through Google Scholar. The results of the study found that social emotional learning through art education is seen as something interesting and crucial to be studied and further formulated into a formulation, where the concepts of Art Learning and Social Emotional Learning are used as a foothold and then analyzed, and led to the finding that art learning can be used as a social emotional learning program to be able to improve the five domains of children's social emotional competence. This research has implications for children's social emotional development including awareness and appreciation skills as a form of affection that can be applied later in social life.

Abstract

Mang Koko's 'Guntur Galunggung' is one of the most evocative and innovative songs in Sundanese music, created in response to the 1982 eruption of Mount Galunggung. This song represents a collaborative effort between Sundanese writer Wahyu Wibisana and musical artist Mang Koko, showcasing uniqueness in its thematic background, musical arrangement, and lyrical meaning. The research employs descriptive analysis, focusing on data processing through content analysis of music manuscripts. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and literature studies. This analysis provides an in-depth review of the innovative Sundanese musical work, 'Guntur Galunggung,' highlighting its musical complexity and interrelated symbolic meanings. The research results reveal the intricate structure of the song "Guntur Galunggung," comprising 12 stanzas of rumpaka, 12 stanzas of gending accompaniment, and distinct sections with varying musical elements, while symbolically depicting the life of a local couple, Mang Maman, and Bi Warsih, emphasizing themes of simplicity, gratitude, resilience, and adaptation in the face of challenges, culminating in their migration to Sumatra as a metaphorical journey of rising after a fall.

Abstract

Revolusi industri 4.0 secara fundamental mengakibatkan berubahnya cara manusia berpikir, hidup, dan berhubungan satu dengan yang lain. Revolusi tersebut berdampak pada sektor industri musik yang menjadi bagian integral masyarakat global. Seiring berkembangnya teknologi, digital music publishing dan/atau digital music publisher menjadi metode baru dalam pemasaran karya musik. Digital music publisher memiliki kewajiban untuk mendistribusikan atau memasarkan karya musik yang hak nya dikelola oleh digital publsiher. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran digital music publisher dalam pemasaran karya musik di era industri 4.0. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif. Perspektif yang digunakan mengkaji penelitian ini adalah perspektif manajemen pemasaran milik Kotler. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah pemahaman tentang gambaran praktik manajemen pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh digital music publisher dalam memasarkan karya musik melalui digital publishing. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian, diperoleh data bahwa digitalisasi musik di era industri 4.0 membuat para artist atau musisi dapat memasarkan karya musiknya ke publik dengan mudah. Melalui digital music publisher, artist atau musisi dengan sangat mudah mempublikasikan dan mendistribusikan karya musiknya, serta dapat mengelola hak moral dan hak ekonomi nya atas karya musik yang dikelola oleh digital music publisher. Selain itu, digital music publisher berperan dalam pengelolaan karya musik yang akan didistribusikan dan dipublikasikan secara luas, dari konsep produk yang tentu hasil rekamannya berkualitas agar dapat dimonetizing sesuai dengan banyaknya karya musik itu didengar oleh pendengar. Implikasi penelitian ini memberikan informasi kepada para pencipta lagu dan musisi akan pentingnya digital music publisher dalam memaksimalkan hak moral dan hak ekonomi dari karya musiknya.

Abstract

Abstrak. Senyawa is a place for sound experimentation by two of its personnel, namely Rully Shabara and Wukir Suryadi. Senyawa fans always look forward to exploration, both in every show and in every album. This study aims to identify, analyze, and describe the musical exploration carried out by Senyawa in the Membaladakan Keselamatan album. The research method used is a qualitative method. The focus in this research is the description of the exploration practices carried out by the two Senyawa personnel in the Membaladakan Keselamatan Album. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained data that in the making of the Membaladakan Keselamatan Album a plan was not carried out, but only the result of practice behavior that occurred organically. However, even though Senyawa is an experimental musical group, for Senyawa, practice is the most important thing in a creative process. Especially in the Membaladakan Keselamatan Album, this album is a very experimental album for Senyawa, because making normal songs as usual for Senyawa is something out of the ordinary. Especially in the Membaladakan Keselamatan Album, Senyawa is challenged in the genre that is presented, namely Ballads. The vocal and acoustic guitar explorations in the Membaladakan Keselamatan Album seem simple but the purpose of this album is to reinforce the public's definition of Senyawa, especially to appreciators who often define the strangeness of Senyawa exploration as well as with the use of obscure lyrics. The implication of this research is to provide information about the importance of independence in working in order to become a more complete entity.

Abstract

Nasheed music is a type of music that is rich in Islamic values conveyed through its lyrics. One of the nasheed groups in Makassar City is the Aligo nasheed group. This group has been active for approximately 16 years and is influential in Makassar City. This research aims to gain an understanding of the cultural inheritance process within the Aligo nasheed group, using the Cavalli Sforza and Feldman cultural inheritance framework and qualitative methods. The research findings indicate that there is a cultural inheritance process in the learning activities conducted by the Aligo nasheed group. This inheritance process occurs horizontally among group members during weekly practice sessions. The exchange of information and nasheed knowledge takes place during these group practice sessions.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal how to use the Song Maker feature in Chrome Music Lab as a medium that can be used in remote music learning. Data collection was taken from reference books and journals, as well as YouTube and Google applications. The research method used was Research and Development (RD) with the Waterfall development model. The resulting product is in the form of a learning video that contains an introduction to Chrome Music Lab and the Song Maker feature, how to access and the process of making songs in the Song Maker feature. The results of the development of the Song Maker feature in Chrome Music Lab show that the feature is very easy, useful, and fun to use as learning media. The test results show that the product is ready to use because the respondents are satisfied. Chrome's Music Lab, specifically the Song Maker feature, provides an alternative for educators to extrapolate music education barriers by connecting active methods with technological, digital experiences for distance learning. The implication of the finding is using the Song Maker feature of Chrome Music Lab as a media for learning music can be used in the classroom for music creation lessons.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas implementasi Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler ansambel musik dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan potensi dan percaya diri siswa di era digital. Metode penelitian formatif digunakan sebagai kerangka untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek ini. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler ansambel musik, ditemukan bahwa implementasi model ini berhasil menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang kondusif, memungkinkan interaksi antara siswa dan guru, serta meningkatkan kreativitas dan kepercayaan diri siswa. Tujuan-tujuan proyek, seperti pengembangan keterampilan bermusik, pemahaman tentang teori musik dasar, kedisiplinan, dan sikap toleransi, juga tercapai melalui model ini. Meskipun model pembelajaran berbasis proyek menunjukkan hasil yang positif, implementasinya memerlukan persiapan matang dan dukungan berkelanjutan untuk mencapai kesuksesan optimal. Dalam era digital yang kompleks, model pembelajaran ini memberikan landasan yang kuat bagi siswa dalam mengembangkan potensi dan percaya diri mereka.

Abstract

Kemendikbudristek mengeluarkan kurikulum baru pada tahun 2022 yang dinamakan dengan kurikulum merdeka sebagai penggantinya kurikulum 2013. Tujuan artikel ini mendasari pada isu perubahan/peralihan dan juga problematika pada transisi kedua kurikulum tersebut. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukan beberapa dampak dari transisi kedua kurikulum diantaranya implementasi dan juga habitus pada proses pembelajaran disekolah. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah kurikulum merdeka adalah nama baru kurikulum 2022 yang akan di terapkan di semua jenjang instansi sekolah baik formal, informal ataupun non formal dengan beberapa level pada kurikulum tersebut sebagai adaptasi dengan hal ini mungkin akan muncul berbagai persepsi dari setiap guru yang berelevan dengan dampak dan perubahan dari kurikulum 2013 ke kurikulum merdeka. Hal tersebut akan menjadi gebrakan baru dari sebuah regulasi pendidikan indonesia, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Implikasi secara keseluruhan, peralihan dari Kurikulum 2013 ke Kurikulum Merdeka di SMA menunjukkan langkah penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

Multicultural education is a very important issue in Indonesia, which is a plural country. Sundanese philosophy is one of the cultural heritages that has the potential to support multicultural education. Karatwan Galuh Pakuan is an Indigenous Institution in Indonesia that applies multicultural education based on Sundanese philosophy.  The purpose of this study is to analyze how the multicultural concept based on Sundanese philosophy and how LAK Galuh Pakuan integrates the values of Sundanese cultural philosophy side by side with other cultures.  This research was conducted through a qualitative approach with a research design using exploratory type case studies. The location chosen to be a partner in this research is the Karatwan Galuh Pakuan Subang Traditional Institute. To obtain rich and authentic data, it is necessary to do interviewing techniques, observation, literature studies, and documentation.   The findings of this study that the Karatwan Galuh Pakuan Customary Institution is one of the representative forums of all multicultural education sectors that are sustainable from year to year (consistent) and are seen as activities as unifying the nation through the basics of Sundanese philosophical values that can foster community appreciation of diversity.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the phenomenon of teachers’ perception in developing students’ musical potency and to reveal teachers’ efforts in developing musical potency through learning implementation in elementary school. The study method used was a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data was collected by interviewing 13 teachers of an elementary school in Tasikmalaya City, West Java, conducting observations, and studying documents. Data analysis used interactive analysis, and its validity was checked by triangulation. The result showed that the teachers did not fully understand the students’ musical potency because the majority of teachers still interpreted the musical potency partially. It implicated in strategy, method, medium, teaching material, and learning evaluation, which were implemented. Therefore, training is needed to improve teachers’ competence relating to musical potency development.
