Abstract

In carrying out educational activities, it is necessary to have several supports, including curriculum, media, methods, facilities and infrastructure, and monitoring. As for this article, the main highlight is the development of a multicultural-based curriculum in learning Islamic religious education (PAI) in Indonesia. The multicultural approach is very important and crucial in the midst of the diversity of Indonesian society from Sabang to Merauke, so it is suitable if the approach is also applied to the field of education. The purpose of the study of this article is to find out what is meant by multicultural curriculum, the stages in implementing multicultural curriculum, multicultural curriculum in PAI learning in Indonesia, and the challenges of implementing multicultural curriculum. The research design uses a qualitative approach with the specification of the method, namely research reports, data analysis techniques using descriptive analytics, and primary data collection through books, journals, proceedings, papers, and reports while secondary data is taken from valid internet sources as well as documentation. The results revealed that multicultural curriculum development in PAI learning is implemented through programs, curriculum, administrative documents, syllabus, rpp, methods, and evaluation. The development of a multicultural curriculum has also been able to form tolerant learners, honing their skills in solving problems mainly related to the existing cultural diversity. In the future, it is hoped that the multicultural curriculum will be maximized as a solution in the midst of the diversity of Indonesian society, especially in PAI learning.

Abstract

This study discusses in depth the dynamics of philosophical Sufism with a focus on the concepts of hulul, ittihad, and wahdatul wujud as the pinnacle of human ontological awareness of God. These three concepts represent the highest phase of spiritual journey where the boundaries between the divine and the human merge into a unity of existence. This study uses a qualitative-philosophical approach with a Sufi hermeneutic model to interpret the inner meaning of classical Sufi texts such as the works of al-Hallaj and Ibn 'Arabi. The data were analysed through three stages of interpretation: exoteric (textual), esoteric (symbolic), and transcendental (ontological). The results show that philosophical Sufism not only contains metaphysical aspects, but also epistemological and spiritual values that build a dynamic relationship between reason and intuition. Through an understanding of hulul, ittihad, and wahdatul wujud, humans are guided to realise that their existence is a reflection of divine reality. Thus, this study affirms that the unity of existence is not the loss of human existence, but rather the unification of consciousness in the presence of an absolute and comprehensive God.

Abstract

This article explores the relationship between the concept of limits in mathematics and the verse (QS. Yusuf: 76), which emphasizes that above every knowledgeable person there is one who is more All-Knowing. The limit in calculus describes an endless process of approximation, where a function approaches a certain value without ever actually reaching it. This concept has a philosophical correlation with the teachings of the Qur'an that emphasize intellectual humility and the awareness that human knowledge is always limited compared to God's knowledge. Through a textual and contextual analysis approach, this article examines how the verse is understood by classical and contemporary commentators and interprets it within the framework of modern mathematical epistemology. The analysis finds that both the concept of the limit and the content of the verse teach that the pursuit of knowledge is a continuously evolving process without an endpoint. Thus, the collaboration between science and sacred texts can open a new paradigm in understanding the relationship between mathematical rationality and divine spirituality.

Abstract

Knowledge is something that is needed by humans to achieve happiness in the world and the hereafter. And there is no other way to acquire this knowledge except by studying and hunting for it. Besides that, the owner gets his position and priority in the eyes of Allah SWT so that the Prophet obliges his people to study and seek knowledge through his words. So the purpose of this study is to describe the Obligation to Study and Seek Knowledge from the Perspective of the Prophet's Hadith. The method used is qualitative with a literature study approach, while the sources of data collected come from primary and secondary data and then the contents are analyzed and finally concluded descriptively. The results of the study show that the Obligation to Study and Seek Knowledge from the Perspective of the Prophet's Hadith includes the Hadith of Bukhari No. 73 which contains the permissibility of hasad towards knowledgeable people, practicing and teaching others. Then Sunan Ibnu Majah Hadith No. 224 contains obligations for every Muslim wherever and whenever without any restrictions. And finally, Muttafaq A'laih (Bukhari Hadith No. 100 and Muslim Hadith No. 2673) contains a warning to the people of the Prophet Muhammad that knowledge will be withdrawn slowly from its owner, therefore every Muslim is required to study to minimize the appointment of leaders/imams from ignorant people uneducated.

Abstract

Education is a way to plan for the future of mankind which consists of many components including curriculum, strategy, and evaluation. These three things form an interrelated system such as a guide in life. Islam as a comprehensive religion will certainly not be separated from discussing the guidelines of the education system in its legal sources, namely the Al-Qur'an, Assunnah, and Ijma'. And the purpose of this study is to describe the Curriculum, Learning Strategies, and Evaluation According to Islam. The method used is qualitative with a literature study approach. The results of the study show that the curriculum is a systematic Manhaj to achieve the goals of Islamic education. The learning strategy is considered the outline of the course that must be followed in the learning process and is likened to the main points, namely faith, and Islam. While evaluation is often seen as an exercise to find out the extent of a student's abilities and how many results he can get from various activities so that later improvements or enrichment will emerge.
