Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is rich in diversity so one of the leading thinkers of democracy and pluralism emerged, namely KH. Abdurrahman Wahid was born in Jombang, East Java, and is usually called Gus Dur. He is a reform thinker in this field and even instilled the concept of indigenous Islam in Indonesia so he is called the Father of Pluralism in the World. So the purpose of this study is to describe pluralism from the perspective of KH Abdurrahman Wahid. This research method is a literature study with a socio-historical and factual historical approach to reveal real past events. The results of the study show that Pluralism in KH Abdurrahman Wahid's Perspective is the view that every religion has differences, characteristics, and uniqueness of each, and not equate all religions to foster a spirit of tolerance among human beings to create peace in life.

Abstract

Mathematics is a science that cannot be separated from human life. It is also applied in various aspects of daily life, one of which is in the activities of fishermen in the Rembang community. And the purpose of this study is to describe the Ethnomathematics Exploration in the Activities of Fishermen of the Rembang Community. The method used is field qualitative, then relevant data is collected and analyzed, and finally concluded descriptively. The results showed that ethnomathematics activities in the fishing activities of the Rembang community included measuring the vessel to determine its type by multiplying the decimal number, as well as buying and selling activities in the market which involved addition and subtraction. Abstrak: Matematika merupakan salah satu ilmu yang tidak bisa lepas dari kehidupan manusia. Bahkan ia juga diaplikasikan dalam berbagai aspek dalam keseharian salah satunya adalah pada kegiatan nelayan di masyarakat rembang. Dan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeksripsikan terkait Eksplorasi Etnomatematika Pada Kegiatan Nelayan Masyarakat Rembang. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif lapangan, lalu dikumpulkan data yang relevan serta dianalisis dan terakhir disimpulkan secara deksriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas etnomatematika pada kegiatan nelayan masyarakat Rembang mencakup pengukuran kapal untuk menentukan jenisnya dengan prosedur perkalian pada bilangan decimal, serta kegiatan jual beli hasil tangkapan dipasar yang melibatkan penjumlahan dan pengurangan.

Abstract

Learning style is a way of receiving, understanding, and processing information from each student in the learning process. In its development, learning styles are broadly (generally) divided into visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. One of the efforts that can be made to find out the learning style of each student is by non-cognitive diagnostic assessment, especially in the framework of the independent curriculum learning becomes one of the main and most important things. Non-cognitive diagnostic assessment is very helpful for educators in mapping learning needs and goals according to the learning styles of their students. SMPN 3 Lembang did the same thing by conducting non-cognitive diagnostic tests on 318 students as samples in the study. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, while the data collection tools are taken from the results of the non-cognitive diagnostic test of learning styles of students in grades 7D-7K at SMPN 3 Lembang in the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of the study concluded that the learning style of students in grades 7D-7K at SMPN 3 Lembang was most dominant in the visual learning style with a percentage of 46% (148 students), in second place was the kinesthetic learning style of 40% (126 students), and the auditory learning style was 14% (44 students). It is expected that educators can use learning styles that can stimulate students' visual learning styles such as the use of demonstration teaching methods, practicum, observation of the surrounding environment, and others. Abstrak: Gaya belajar merupakan cara menerima, memahami, dan mengolah informasi dari setiap siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Pada perkembangannya, gaya belajar secara garis besar (umum) terbagi menjadi gaya belajar visual, auditori, dan kinestetik. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan agar dapat mengetahui gaya belajar setiap siswa ialah dengan asesmen diagnostik non-kognitif, terlebih dalam kerangka kurikulum merdeka belajar menjadi satu hal yang utama dan penting. Asesmen diagnostik non-kognitif sangat membantu pendidik dalam memetakan kebutuhan dan tujuan pembelajaran sesuai dengan gaya belajar para siswanya. Tidak terkecuali di SMPN 3 Lembang melakukan hal yang sama yaitu dengan melalukan tes diagnostik non-kognitif terhadap 318 siswa sebagai sampel dalam penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, adapun alat pengumpulan data diambil dari hasil tes diagnostik non-kognitif gaya belajar belajar siswa kelas 7D-7K di SMPN 3 Lembang Tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya belajar siswa kelas 7D-7K di SMPN 3 Lembang paling dominan ialah gaya belajar visual dengan prosentase sebesar 46% (148 siswa), diposisi kedua yaitu gaya belajar kinestetik sebesar 40% (126 siswa), dan gaya belajar auditori sebesar 14% (44 siswa). Diharapkan pendidik dapat menggunakan gaya belajar yang dapat menstimulus gaya belajar visual siswa seperti penggunaan metode mengajar demonstrasi, praktikum, observasi lingkungan sekitar dan lainnya.

Abstract

Java is one of the islands that is rich in values and culture, one of which is an offering that is often considered as a symbol and ritual from the community to the surrounding spirits. Among the people who still carry out and believe in it is Kedung Dowo Boyolali Hamlet, most of whose citizens are adherents of Islam, but some of them still maintain the tradition of offerings on certain occasions called pancen. And the purpose of this study is to describe the Sesajen Tradition in the form of Pancenan in Kedung Dowo Boyolali Hamlet in the perspective of culture and belief. The method used is a field study with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Then the analysis is done interactively accompanied by a triangulation model to get valid data, and finally draw conclusions. The results showed that the tradition of offerings in the form of pancenan in the hamlet of kedung dowo boyolali is still allowed if it is only considered as cultural preservation. But if there are those who think there are other forces besides Allah SWT then the tradition is prohibited because it goes into shirk. And it is appropriate for a Muslim to slowly leave traditions and cultures that are not in line with Islamic law so that they do not take root in the next generation in the future.

Abstract

The Qu’ran as a guide to human life contains global norms and rules so a study is needed to detail what is contained in it. Along with the development of the era, the study of the Koran has reached various scientific fields, including the field of study of Al-Quran interpretation itself. This research aims to explain the search for the meaning of interpretation, development, and sources of interpretation of the Al-Quran from a theoretical point of view. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach technique. The research results show that tafsir is an effort to understand the holy verses of the Koran through several methodologies and has been started since the time of the Prophet, where he was the initial interpreter in explaining the contents contained in the word of Allah to his people. Then after he died, the interpretation of Al-Quran verses continued to develop and the relay of studying these verses continued to the companions, continued back to the tabi'in, and continued exponentially until the modern and digital era. The sources for interpreting the Koran include verses from the Koran, hadiths of the Prophet, or the atsars of friends, then it can also be done with the ability of human reason, and finally with selective Islamic stories

Abstract

This study analyzes the comparative understanding of the position of women in classical and modern interpretations, as well as the social implications of these differences in interpretation in the context of contemporary Muslim society. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study approach, involving analysis of classical interpretation books. The results of the study indicate that classical interpretations tend to interpret verses about women textually and normatively, focusing on domestic roles and household relations, while modern interpretations use a contextual and socio-historical approach that emphasizes gender equality and relevance to social reality. The conclusion of this study reveals that the development of interpretation from classical to modern reflects a paradigm shift from a literal understanding to a holistic understanding that is adaptive to social change. This study contributes to an inclusive Islamic discourse and supports gender justice in Islam

Abstract

The dynamics of the development of Sharia economic law in Indonesia have developed rapidly so that in the management of the economy, Sharia and conventional banking have emerged. The lower middle class and informal workers are very vulnerable to being trapped in conventional banks, causing pain in the Indonesian economy. So the purpose of this research is to describe the Role of Sharia Economic Law in Supporting a Healthy Economic System for Indonesian Society. The method used is literature study, then the data is collected using a qualitative approach, then the truth and validity are analyzed and the last is concluded descriptively. The results of the study show that the Role of Sharia Economic Law in Supporting a Healthy Economic System for Indonesian Communities includes making people aware of the importance of paying Zakat, supporting the Prohibition of usury, fostering expectations of economic cooperation, supporting the social security system, supporting the prohibition of business practices which is dirty, and supports the supervision of the sharia economy in the state order so that all of these roles are following the maqosidu sharia which has been established by Islamic teachings.Keywords: Role, Sharia Economic Law, Healthy Economy, Indonesian Society

Abstract

At present, there is an effort to revitalize the function of kuttab in Indonesia through kuttab al Fatih.  This study aims to analyze the kuttab al Fatih curriculum, especially in the field of life skills education as an Islamic educational institution. This research is a type of library research with descriptive and analytical methods. Sources of data are taken through literature review from books, articles, and literature relevant to the topic of discussion. The analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman's, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. This study concludes that there is a distinctiveness of the Kuttab al Fatih curriculum which is drawn from the Qur'an and Hadith as well as the books of salaf scholars.  The link to the main Islamic references is also seen in learning the life skills of its students. The study in this research can add insight into the urgency of the kuttab concept as an Islamic educational institution in Indonesia. This research produces new discussions about the types of general and specific skills taught in the learning process at kuttab al Fatih.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the role-playing learning method in PAI subjects in forming students' commendable morals. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with the literature study method, collecting data through the latest and old literature (journals, books, proceedings) as primary data and sources from the internet as secondary data, the results of which were then described descriptively. The results obtained show that the role-playing learning model helps and is effective in developing students' commendable characteristics such as honesty, discipline, and good manners toward learning. This can happen because students gain direct experience by playing one character or another. What they experienced internalized within themselves so that there was a good change from before. Then based on the literature review it was also found that the role-playing learning method could be implemented in PAI subjects with the teaching material of the Story of the Prophet Abraham. Through the story of Prophet Ibrahim, students gain experience on how to respect their parents, act well, be honest, obey, and trust. The research carried out can contribute to the development of learning methods for parties involved in education, with a variety of learning methods applied that can provide meaningful learning by both teachers and students. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi dari metode pembelajaran role playing pada mata pelajaran PAI dalam membentuk akhlak terpuji siswa. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka, pengumpulan data melalui literatur-literatur terbaru dan lama (jurnal, buku, prosiding) sebagai data primer dan sumber dari internet sebagai data sekunder yang kemudian hasilnya dijabarkan secara desriptif. Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa model pembelajaran role playing membantu dan efektif dalam menumbuhkembangkan karakter terpuji siswa seperti kejujuran, kedisplinan, dan adab yang baik terhadap berguru. Hal demikian dapat terjadi karena siswa mendapatkan pengalamannya secara langsung dengan memerankan satu tokoh atau peran lainnya. Dari apa yang mereka alami menginternalisasi dalam diri sehingga adanya perubahan yang baik dari sebelumnya. Kemudian berdasarkan telaah literatur juga didapati bahwa metode pembelajaran role playing dapat dilaksanakan pada mata pelajaran PAI dengan materi ajar Kisah Nabi Ibrahim. Melalui kisah nabi Ibrahim siswa mendapatkan pengalaman bagaimana cara menghormati orangtua, berlaku baik, jujur, taat, dan tawakal. Penelitian yang dilakukan dapat menjadi sumbangsih bagi pengembangan metode pembelajaran bagi pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam dunia pendidikan, dengan adanya variasi metode belajar yang diterapkan mampu memberikan kebermaknaan belajar baik oleh guru maupun siswa.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has significantly impacted the behavior and character of Generation Z. Amid the rapid digitalization, establishing a strong character based on spiritual values is essential to avoid the negative influences of technology. In this context, two key Islamic conceptsmahabbah (love for Allah) and muraqabah (awareness of Allah's supervision) can serve as effective strategies in shaping the character of Generation Z. This study employs a qualitative literature-based approach to analyze the implementation of these concepts in the daily lives of Generation Z. Data is collected from secondary sources, including books,  academic journals, and relevant articles. The findings reveal that applying mahabah and muraqabah can form an integrated character, enhance self-control, and strengthen morality in the face of technological challenges. Mahabah, as a spiritual foundation, motivates Generation Z to engage in positive behavior, while muraqabah encourages awareness of one's actions and consequences. Therefore, these concepts hold high relevance in character education in the digital age, positioning them as integral and practical strategies for character formation.
