Abstract

One form of immaterial wealth that is very valuable of community in Trenggalek district area is folklore. Folklore contains information about traditional knowledge systems, attitudes, and behaviors, some of which are still very relevant to life today. The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of learning strategy design to improve students' understanding of reading content in boarding school-based schools. This research is a research and development with the 4D model carried out up to the define and design stages to produce a story reconstruction strategy design. The subjects of this study consisted of 40 students and teachers assisting literacy activities at MTs Satu Atap Darunnajah. This research focuses on (1) the design of folklore reconstruction strategies, (2) the potential of folklore as a learning resource, and (3) the content of local wisdom in accordance with Islamic teachings. The result of this research is a folklore reconstruction strategy design that includes five stages, namely reading, telling stories, reflecting on the values in the story, linking the results of reflection with hadith or Al-Qur'an verses, and writing new stories. The reconstruction strategy design developed can be used to optimize literacy activities in boarding school-based schools.

Abstract

Teachers are required to have various competencies in the process of transferring knowledge to their students, as are BIPA teachers. Quality teaching competency is an important aspect in the successful achievement of student competency. Therefore, discussions on teacher competence are important as supporting the success of second language learning, in the context that will be carried out, namely the competence of BIPA teachers in writing scientific papers. This is done because writing skills are skills that are difficult to learn and teach. Additionally, consider BIPA which is increasingly popular for non-native speakers to follow. The objectives of this PKM are (1) to provide training in an effort to increase the competency in writing scientific papers of BIPA teachers, (2) to provide insight related to the use of technology in writing scientific papers. This activity was carried out at Yala Rajabhat University, Thailand. This location was chosen because it held BIPA learning and there were problems regarding inadequate insight in writing scientific papers in the context of Indonesian language and culture.The solution offered is to provide academic writing material (1) paraphrasing and quoting skills, (2) word or lexical variations, (3) active and inactive sentences, (4) thinking processes which include ability to understand written information, (5) structure and development of arguments in micro and macro stages. In addition, to achieve the second goal, provide insights related to the use of Mendeley, Vos Viewer, and Sciendiret and Scihub. It is hoped that these two indicators will be able to solve the problems faced by BIPA teachers

Abstract

This study aims to understand the publication trend and research contribution related to character education in Indonesian high school textbooks based on the Merdeka Curriculum from 2015 to 2024. Character education is crucial for student development, and textbooks play a central role. Using bibliometric analysis, the study identified 428 publications from Google Scholar and Scopus, including journal articles, proceedings, reviews, and books. Journal articles dominated with 363 publications, followed by 30 proceedings, 32 books, and three reviews. The study focused on the number of publications and the issues underlying the keyword emergence. While 2023 had the highest number of publications (75), 2018 saw the highest citations (890) and h-index (14), indicating significant influence. The highly cited study "Strategy and Implementation of Character Education in Senior High Schools and Vocational High Schools" had 135 citations. Keyword analysis using VOSviewer revealed that "Indonesian textbook" was the most popular topic, particularly concerning gender representation and basic education. Despite increased productivity, recent publications need higher impact, achievable through improved research quality, appropriate journal selection, online dissemination, collaboration, and scientific community engagement. The focus on gender representation and basic education should be sharpened for inclusive teaching materials and to instill positive values early in Indonesian education. This study provides valuable insights and direction for future research and practice in character education within the Independent Curriculum framework.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the values of peace contained in Indonesian language textbooks and the relevance and implications for the development of peace-based textbooks. The method used is a qualitative research method with an analytical descriptive approach. The data used is in the form of words, pictures and not in the form of a collection of numbers. The data source for this research is the Indonesian language textbooks of the independent curriculum. Data collection technique is library technique. Fund analysis was carried out using the method of content analysis or content analysis. The results of the study show that there are four values of peace contained in the Indonesian language textbooks of the independence curriculum. The four values are the value of self-acceptance, the value of not being prejudiced, the value of understanding conflict, and the value of diversity. Relevance and implications for the development of textbooks are needed to support learning and provide knowledge from an early age about the Indonesian language and ways to solve peace problems.

Abstract

Technology has now reached its fourth stage, known as the Industrial Revolution 4.0, which is marked by the development of sensor technology and the digitalization era. One of the innovations made by the Provincial Government in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, was the implementation of ERP using e-Monev and LPSE. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data collection was carried out trough in-depth interviews and document analysis. Data analysis used a content analysis approach. Understanding of budget allocations made by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, experiences and views of stakeholders regarding the implementation of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government budget system, efficiency and effectiveness of the budget system in managing public finances, as well as supporting factors, obstacles, and challenges in the preparation and implementation of the system budget. A significant budget allocation for priority sectors, namely education and infrastructure. There are also challenges in controlling operational spending, and the need to improve performance indicators to more accurately measure the achievement of regional development goals. The implication of this research is to increase transparency, accountability, and effectiveness of budget management in the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepaduan paragraf dalam teks eksposisi hasil alih wahana karya siswa kelas X jurusan Perhotelan SMK Negeri 3 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik studi dokumen untuk menghimpun data penelitian. Data penelitian ini berupa paragraf dalam 11 teks eksposisi hasil alih wahana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) ciri kohesi yang dominan pada aspek konjungsi sebagai penanda kohesi gramatikal, namun penggunaan referensi, substitusi, dan elipsis masih terbatas. Dalam kohesi leksikal, repetisi menjadi pola umum akibat keterbatasan kosakata, dengan minimnya variasi sinonimi, antonimi, dan hiponimi, 2) koherensi dalam teks baik yang terlihat dari pemanfaatan koherensi berpenanda seperti kausalitas dan aditif untuk membangun alur argumen yang logis, serta koherensi tak berpenanda berupa perian dan perincian yang mendukung deskripsi dan penjelasan detail. Secara keseluruhan, teks siswa menunjukkan kepaduan isi yang sederhana namun efektif, dengan kecenderungan menggunakan penanda yang eksplisit dan mudah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan kerangka kerja teoretis baru melalui Strategi Menulis CERITA (Cerpen Ekspresif, Reflektif, dan Inspiratif untuk Tawa) guna meningkatkan self-awareness santri. Metode yang digunakan adalah Kajian Konseptual dan Sintesis Teoretis (Conceptual Mapping), menganalisis hubungan antara potensi Terapi Naratif, mekanisme kognitif humor, dan pemanfaatan Generatif AI. Strategi CERITA secara khusus memanfaatkan humor self-deprecation (merendahkan diri sendiri) sebagai mekanisme kognitif adaptif yang secara implisit melatih self-awareness dan self-compassion. Selain itu, proses penulisan diperkuat dengan penggunaan Generatif AI untuk mendukung brainstorming dan eksplorasi ide naratif. Hasil sintesis teoretis ini adalah Strategi CERITA, sebuah kerangka pedagogis inovatif yang menggeser fokus dari sekadar keterampilan berbahasa menjadi alat pengembangan psikososial yang relevan di tengah tuntutan kehidupan pesantren, memberikan ruang bagi santri untuk re-authoring narasi diri secara inspiratif melalui tawa.

Abstract

This study examines grammar material in Indonesian language textbooks for grade VIII junior high school, specifically within the Merdeka Curriculum framework. The research aims to describe and analyze grammar content in the textbooks, focusing on word structures and the alignment of grammar competencies with learning objectives in each chapter. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a document study approach. Data were collected from official textbooks published by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) in 2021. Data collection was conducted through document analysis, with the researcher serving as the primary instrument, assisted by an analytical table. Data analysis followed three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the grammar material in the textbooks includes word structures such as affixation and reduplication, as well as sentence structures categorized by the presence or absence of clauses, the sequence of subjects and predicates, and the roles of functional elements. The analysis identified two chapters in the grade VIII textbook that contain grammar material and four chapters that do not explicitly include grammar material but align with the stated learning objectives. The study concludes that grammar material in textbooks is essential for enhancing students’ language skills, in line with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasize independence and creativity in learning.

Abstract

The Puger fisherman in Jember, East Java Province, Indonesia, represents the local community on the south beach of East Java. The open attitude of the Puger fisherman forms unique communication characteristics and is supported by the pendalungan culture, i.e., a melting pot between the Javanese and Madurese cultures. This socio-cultural configuration positions the Puger fishermen as a multilingual and multicultural speech community whose communication practices are shaped by continuous cultural contact and adaptation. This allows communication events to be interpreted beyond the linguistic aspect, as they can be interpreted as a discourse of local wisdom that is full of meaning and values, which had so far escaped the attention of many researchers. In this sense, communication is not merely a medium for transmitting information but functions as a cultural practice that embodies social norms, identity construction, and collective knowledge. This article describes the communication wisdom of the Puger fisherman, which describes the form and value system in communication among them. The authors employed ethnographic communication methods based on speech obtained through observation and direct involvement in the communication events. This process produced recorded data, which was then reduced into speech data representing wisdom in communication. The results of data reduction were then analyzed using SPEAKING, which resulted in the classification of speech based on domain, theme, and socio-cultural aspects, which were present in the communication event. From this classification system, the authors can find the local wisdom of the Puger fishermen in their communication. The analytical focus on Hymes’ SPEAKING framework enables a comprehensive interpretation of communication as situated action shaped by setting, participants, purposes, norms, and genres. The communication wisdom of the Puger fisherman was represented by their lingual aspects and value systems. Lingual aspects were represented in their straightforward structure and diction, choice of language variations, and communication patterns. Meanwhile, local wisdom at the value system level was represented in language impressions; prohibitions on njangkar, njambal, and mapas; as well as intonation and gestures in communication. These features demonstrate how linguistic choices and communicative behavior are systematically governed by culturally embedded principles of respect, hierarchy, solidarity, and social harmony. The fishermen community’s communication patterns form wisdom in the discourse structure, contributing to how they plan their decisions and communicate their strategies to prevent social vulnerability and manage conflicts.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Green Dakwah dalam mentransformasi masjid sebagai sarana edukasi kesadaran ekologis masyarakat di Kelurahan Batu Putih, Kecamatan Batu Putih, Kabupaten Kolaka Utara. Manfaat penelitian meliputi: memberikan pemahaman tentang kondisi dan dampak kerusakan lingkungan, meningkatkan kesadaran pelestarian lingkungan, memperkuat peran masjid sebagai pusat edukasi dan transformasi nilai keagamaan yang mendukung pelestarian alam, serta memotivasi masyarakat untuk bertanggung jawab menjaga lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan ABCD yang melibatkan masyarakat dan mahasiswa dalam mengidentifikasi potensi dan melaksanakan program edukasi di masjid. Hasil program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) selama 45 hari menunjukkan perubahan positif pola pikir dan perilaku masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga kebersihan dan kelestarian lingkungan melalui pendekatan keagamaan kontekstual, seperti sosialisasi lingkungan, kajian fiqih lingkungan, dan pengelolaan sampah ramah lingkungan. Transformasi ini menjadikan masjid bukan hanya tempat ibadah, tetapi pusat edukasi yang menanamkan nilai kebersihan, kepedulian, tanggung jawab terhadap alam, memperkuat hubungan sosial, dan menjadikan menjaga lingkungan sebagai bagian dari keimanan dan ibadah kepada Allah SWT.
