Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of the Discovery Learning model to improve the integrated thematic learning process in the fifth grade of SD Kartika I-11 Padang. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) that uses a qualitative and quantitative approach. Conducted in two cycles, with three meetings covering four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were researchers, teachers, and fifth grade students of SD Kartika I-11 Padang, totaling 20 people. The results of the study were: (1) the percentage of lesson plan observation was 76.6%, an increase of 93.75%. (2) Teacher activities 79.7%, an increase of 90.6%. (3) Student activities 79.7%, an increase of 90.6%. Keywords: Integrated thematic learning, Discovery Learning

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the effect  of the Polya model on student learning outcomes of fractional story problems  at 5th grade of Elementary School in III group  Ampek Angkek Subdistrict Agam District in the 2018/2019 school year. This research is a quantitative research with a type of quasi-experiment, design of Non-equivalent control group design. The population in this research is 5th grade in Elementary School III group in Ampek Angkek Subdistrict. The sample of this research is the 5th grade students of SDN 07 Sitapung consisting of two classes that is VA class is 20 students and VB class is 20 Students. Sampling was done with purpose sampling technique. The data announcement instrument used is a description test.  Based on the results of the research obtained tcount  ttable where tcount = 7.84  ttable = 1.72 means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This shows that the use of the Polya model has an effect on students learning outcomes of fractional  story of the of 5th grade  of the Elementary School III group in Ampek Angkek Subdistrict.Keyword : Polya model, learning outcomes, fractions

Abstract

AbstractThis resesrch purpose is to know the effect of using Problem Based Learning model toward study result of social sciences students in the fifth grade of Elementary school in 20 Lubuk Alung. The kind of this research wa quasi experiment type non equivalent control group desaign. To detemine the sample the research used purposive sampling. in this research there werw 40 students as the sample and 156 students as the populations. The result showed that tobtained > ttable (4,060 > 1,72) with α = 0,05 it can be cocluded that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, it means that there was signitificant effect of using PBL model  toward study result of social students in the fifth grade of elementary school in 20 Lubuk Alung. Key Words : PBL, Learning Outcomes, IPS

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) terhadap motivasi belajar siswa serta pemahaman konsep sains pada mata pelajaran sains sekolah dasar. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode campuran, yaitu gabungan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif untuk penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui uji pretest dan posttest yang selanjutnya diolah dengan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas, Paired Sample t-Test dan analisis korelasi Pearson. Sedangkan data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi serta dianalisis melalui analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi AR bersama dengan pembelajaran interaktif meningkatkan hasil belajar yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai posttest siswa yang secara signifikan lebih tinggi daripada nilai pretest mereka (p < 0,05). Selain itu, hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang kuat, positif dan signifikan antara penggunaan teknologi AR dan motivasi belajar siswa (r = 0,78, p < 0,05). Penelitian ini memiliki beberapa implikasi untuk praktik mengajar yang menunjukkan bahwa dengan memaksimalkan penggunaan AR, guru dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan partisipasi siswa di kelas dan juga membantu siswa untuk lebih memahami konsep-konsep kompleks yang abstrak dalam mata pelajaran sains. Oleh karena itu, sosialisasi yang luas tentang konsep integrasi AR ke dalam kurikulum melalui pelatihan guru dan pengembangan media model AR relevan dengan proses pembelajaran perlu dilakukan.  ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of Augmented Reality (AR) technology on students' learning motivation as well as understanding of science concepts in elementary school science subjects. The approach used in this research is mixed methods, which is a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative data for this study was collected through pretest and postest tests that afterward were processed descriptive statistical, normality test, Paired Sample t-Test and Pearson correlation analysis. While the qualitative data was collected through interviews and observations and analyzed through thematic analysis. The research findings show that the use of AR technology together with interactive lessons improves learning outcomes as indicated by the students’ posttest scores being significantly higher than their pretest scores (p < 0.05). In addition, the results of the regression analysis showed a strong, positive and significant relationship between the use of AR technology and students’ learning motivation (r = 0.78, p < 0.05). This study has some implications for teaching practice which suggests that by maximizing the use of AR, teachers can enhance students’ motivation and participation in class and also help students to better understand abstracted complex concepts in science subjects. Therefore, broad socialization on the concept of AR integration into the curriculum through teacher training and AR model media development relevant to the learning process need to be carried out.

Abstract

This study was conducted because the utilization of mathematics learning media in elementary schools was not optimal. The purpose of this study is to develop valid and practical learning media on fractions worth in grade IV elementary school. The study used a research and development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model. The stages in the research process using the ADDIE model consist of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected from the results of the validation questionnaire of material, linguistic, media experts, and based on a questionnaire of practicality responses from teachers and students. In this research, the trial school was class IV SDN 04 Bakir with 16 students. The research school was conducted in class IV SDN 03 Malepang with 13 students. The results of the Smart Apps Creator 3 learning media validity test in material aspects reached a percentage of 98%, the results of the language validity test amounted to 97% and the results of media validity reached 95.17%, all three of which were classified as very valid. The results of the practicality test in the trial school showed a teacher questionnaire percentage of 93.18% and a student questionnaire of 93.75%, both of which were in the very practical category. In addition, the results of the practicality evaluation in the research school received a score of 95.45% in the “very practical” category for the teacher questionnaire and 96.42% in the “very practical” category for the student questionnaire. Thus, it can be concluded that learning media using Smart Apps Creator 3 on fraction material in grade IV SD is valid and practical.

Abstract

Kurangnya pemanfaatan dan penggunaan teknologi yang sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman serta tampilan LKPD yang kurang bervariatif menyebabkan penampilan LKPD yang kurang menarik sehingga peserta didik kurang,termotivasi,kurang kreatif, kurang berinisiatif untuk mengemukakan pendapat, serta kurang berkolaborasi dalam mengerjakan LKPD. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-LKPD menggunakan Liveworksheets berbasis RADEC berbantuan Mind Map pada sistem pernapasan manusia di kelas V Sekolah Dasar . Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model 4D. Dengan tahap Define (pendefinisian), Design (perancangan), Develop (pengembangan), dan Disseminate (penyebaran). Data dari penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil validasi, dan praktikalitas. Lembar validasi diisi oleh ahli materi, bahasa dan media. Sedangkan lembar praktikalitas di isi oleh guru dan peserta didik. Kemudian uji coba dilakukan di kelas V yaitu SDN 02 Lubuk Alung oleh 28 peserta didik dan di SDN 15 Lubuk Alung oleh 28 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan LKPD berupa E-LKPD menggunakan Liveworksheets berbasis RADEC berbantuan Mind Map yang valid dan praktis. Hasil validasi secara keseluruhan memperoleh presentase 94,77% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Hasil kepraktisan dari angket respon guru dan peserta didik rata-rata dari ke 2 sekolah uji coba dapat diketahui bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan E-LKPD menggunakan Liveworksheets berbasis RADEC berbantuan Mind Map “sangat praktis” dengan rata- rata 96,27% dan 95,71% . Sedangkan persentase respon guru dan peserta didik di sekolah penelitian SDN 17 Lubuk Alung oleh 24 peserta didik terhadap E-LKPD menggunakan Liveworksheets berbasis RADEC berbantuan Mind Map dengan rata-rata 96,27% dan 95,13%. Dengan demikian penggunaan E-LKPD menggunakan Livewoksheets berbasis RADEC berbantuan Mind Map pada sistem pernapasan manusia di kelas V SD ini dinyatakan telah valid dan praktis.

Abstract

This research is motivated by technological advances that give birth to innovations in learning. One of the innovations in learning is in terms of teaching materials that support students to learn independently, can be used anytime and anywhere, then adjust the needs and characteristics of students. Based on the results of observations that have been carried out in 4 schools, namely SDN 02 Lubuk Alung, SDN 15 Lubuk Alung, SDN 17 Lubuk Alung and SDN 04 Enam Lingkung, it was found that almost the same problem is that the school still does not utilize technology to the fullest. Schools still use teaching materials or printed modules that are not equipped with animations, pictures and videos so that students feel bored easily. Learning is still teacher-centered until it is monotonous. To overcome this, an E-Module was developed using a RADEC-based Flip PDF Corporate application assisted by mind maps on the human digestive system material in grade V of elementary school. This research aims to develop an E-Module using a RADEC-based Flip PDF Corporate application assisted by mind maps on valid and practical human digestive system materials. The research method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, application, and evaluation. The validity test by material, media and language experts was declared to be very valid with an average validator score of 93.33%. Based on the teacher's response and the response of students at 2 school The trial showed that the E-Module was very practical in learning with an average of 92.5% and 96.4%. Meanwhile, the percentage of responses of teachers and students in research schools to E-Modules is very practical with an average of 97.5% and 96.8%. So it can be concluded that the E-Module using the RADEC-based Flip PDF Corporate application assisted by mind map on the human digestive system material in grade V elementary school is very valid and very practical to use in learning.

The results of this study produced LKPD in the form of E-LKPD using RADEC-based Liveworksheets assisted by Mind Map that are valid and practical. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the limited use of digital teaching materials in elementary schools, particularly in science education in fifth grade. Teachers still predominantly use printed teaching materials, such as textbooks and workbooks, as well as lecture methods, which cause students to be less motivated, tend to be passive, and the learning process becomes less optimal in increasing students' interest and understanding. This study aims to develop e-learning materials using Book Creator based on RADEC with the assistance of Mind Map on the subject of Human Growth that are valid and practical. The type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the validity test results by subject matter experts, language, and media experts, the developed e-learning materials were categorized as highly valid, with an average score of 91.7%. The pilot testing was conducted at SD Negeri 32 Bungo Pasang and SD Negeri 29 Dadok Tunggul Hitam, while the implementation was carried out at SD Negeri 08 Pangkalan. Practicality tests involving teachers and students at the pilot schools and research sites showed that the e-learning materials are highly practical for use in teaching. When averaged across all schools, the practicality percentage of the e-learning materials reached 92.38% from teachers and 88.97% from students. Therefore, it can be concluded that the e-learning materials using Book Creator based on RADEC assisted by mind maps on human growth material in fifth grade elementary school are proven to be highly valid and practical for use in learning.
