Abstract

This study aims to analyze innovative work behavior at BNPB which will be used in this study to explore and examine the impact of transformational leadership and human resources on the quality of human resources. This research method uses a quantitative approach. The number of samples = 239 BNPB employees was obtained. Data was collected through survey method and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with WarpPLS approach. The results of this study found that the transformational leadership variable (X1) that has the highest weight is building the organization. In the innovative work behavior variable (Y1), which has the highest weight is developing ideas. Finally, the variable quality of human resources (Y2) which has the highest weight is continuous learning. Furthermore, there are two relationships whose results are not significant, and one relationship whose results are significant. The relationship between Transformational Leadership on Innovative Work Behavior and Transformational Leadership on Human Resource Quality obtained insignificant results, while the relationship between Innovative Work Behavior on Human Resource Quality obtained significant results for each variable relationship of the three factors

Abstract

Good electronic resources and student-lecturer interaction are essential to improve student satisfaction during online learning; e-learning satisfaction is a multifaceted construction that significantly affects student engagement and retention in online learning environments. This study aims to examine and evaluate a four-variable model, including E-learning, Perceived Ease of Use, E-learning Satisfaction, and Perceived Usefulness. Quantitative methods are used to test scales, research models, and hypotheses. These include testing scale reliability, testing the validity and consistency of the scale, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) for hypothesis testing. The sample used was an active student of the Faculty of Economics and Business in the odd semester of 2023/2024 who had used Edlink at Sahid University. The object was chosen because Sahid University has an e-learning site, namely Edlink, that supports teaching and learning activities and is already running. One hundred thirty-eight questionnaires were distributed directly through Google Forms to students who had used Edlink. The data analysis technique in this study uses SEM with SmartPLS version 4. Through the evaluation of the measurement model with a loading factor of >0.70, Composite Reliability > 0.70, Cronbuc's Alpha >0.70 and Average variances Extracted >0.50. Then, we use the hypothesis test with Bootstrapping to determine the direct and indirect influences. The results of the study showed that there was an Effect of Perceived Ease of Use on E-learning satisfaction, No Effect of Perceived Usefulness on E-learning satisfaction, Effect of E-Lerning on Perceived Ease of Use, Effect of E-Lerning on Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use did not mediate the Effect of E-Lerning on E-learning satisfaction, Perceived Usefulness mediated the Effect of E-Lerning on E-learning satisfaction.

Abstract

Education in the 5.0 era faces significant challenges in maintaining quality and relevance alongside the development of smart technology and the demand for 21st-century skills. This article analyzes the role of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Improvement (QI) in enhancing education quality through a literature review. The analysis reveals that QC and QI play crucial roles in maintaining quality standards and driving continuous improvement. QC ensures consistent quality monitoring, while QI enables adaptation through technological innovations, such as data analytics and artificial intelligence. The integration of technology into QC and QI provides notable benefits, including real-time monitoring of student performance and personalized learning to improve educational outcomes. However, this implementation faces challenges, including limited infrastructure, low digital literacy among educators, and resistance to change. The synergy between technology and human skills is identified as a key factor in creating an effective and meaningful education process. The article recommends investing in technological infrastructure and educator training, along with policies supporting QC and QI implementation in educational institutions. Further research is necessary to develop more adaptive QC and QI models for various educational contexts and explore the impact of technology-based QC and QI on students' 21st-century skills. These findings aim to provide insights into sustainable strategies for improving education quality in the 5.0 era.

Abstract

In the context of increasing demands for quality assurance and continuous improvement in education, Shewhart charts, originally developed for industrial processes, have found applications beyond manufacturing. Shewhart control charts, also known as statistical process control (SPC) charts, serve as valuable tools for monitoring and controlling processes by distinguishing between common and special cause variation. This literature review explores the application of Shewhart charts in the field of educational quality control, highlighting their potential to improve decision-making processes, identify trends, and enhance educational outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze a comparative perspective of education systems in Indonesia, Europe, and America. The main focus is to identify differences in educational approaches, curriculum structures, teaching methods, and the challenges faced by Indonesia in enhancing its education quality and global competitiveness. A qualitative library research method was employed, reviewing literature related to the education systems of the three regions. The results show that Europe emphasizes equitable access, flexibility, and competency-based education tailored to local needs. In contrast, the United States adopts a decentralized system, encouraging student freedom in course selection and non-academic skill development through extracurricular activities. Meanwhile, Indonesia applies a more centralized curriculum focusing on uniformity and cultural-moral values. Indonesia’s main challenges include achieving equitable access to quality education, improving teacher capacity, and integrating technology into learning processes. This conclusions represent that Indonesia can adopt best practices from Europe and America, such as curriculum flexibility, competency-based approaches, and technology utilization, to create a more innovative and inclusive education system.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the quality of education using various quality management tools, such as the Shewhart Control Chart, Fishbone Diagram, Flow Chart, and SWOT Analysis and their relationship to education. This approach provides a systematic framework for evaluating and improving the quality of education at various levels. The method used in this research is a literature study method by observing various kinds of documents from both books and journals.  The literature study in this research focuses on researching literature related to shewhar control charts, fishbone diagrams, flow charts, and SWOT diagrams and their relationship to education. Data collection is carried out by collecting library data, reading, recording and managing research results objectively, systematically, analytically and critically by looking at the year of publication and the most recent research. This was done to observe the importance of implementing Total Quality Management (TQM) in education, including the role of its approach to ensure the process is within the desired control. The results of this research show that an integrated Shewhart control chart, fishbone diagram, flow chart and SWOT diagram approach like this can improve the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of education
