Abstract

Malaria is still a problem in Indonesia and the world because the morbidity rate is still quite high, and its management is a commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) until 2030. The purpose of this study is to determine the risk factors for the incidence of malaria in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional study design. Further analysis of Riskesdas 2018 data was carried out from January to August 2021. The location of this research is all provinces in Indonesia, as many as 34 provinces. The sample in this study is the total population based on the Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) in Indonesia as many as 26,657 samples. This study uses secondary data from Riskesdas 2018. The data analysis in this study is univariate analysis with descriptive analysis. The results of this study are respondents suffering from malaria aged >24 years as many as 14,769 (55.4%), female respondents suffering from malaria as many as 13,827 (51.9%), respondents having low education suffered from malaria as many as 19,926 (74.7%), respondents working suffered as much as 15,570 ( 58.4%), respondents living in rural areas suffer from malaria as many as 18,558 (69.6%), respondents who sleep without using mosquito nets suffer from malaria as many as 20,671 (77.5%), respondents do not use repellent suffer from malaria as many as 18,104 (67.9%), respondents do not use mosquito coils /spray/electric suffer from malaria as many as 14,059 (52.7%), respondents who do not use mosquito netting on home ventilation suffer from malaria as many as 22,369 (83.9%), and respondents suffer from malaria in Indonesia as many as 8,076 (30.3%). It is hoped that the Indonesian Ministry of Health will monitor the program for using repellents and distributing insecticide-treated mosquito nets to malaria-endemic areas. It is hoped that the District/City Offices should be more effective in providing counselling or education on malaria prevention to the public as a malaria prevention measure.

Abstract

A North Sumatra Province is still one of the filariasis endemic areas with the number of cases recorded during 2012-2017 as many as 152 cases were converted at 1.10 per 100,000 population. This study aims to determine the risk factors for filariasis in North Sumatra Province. This study uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional study design. The type of data in this study is secondary data for Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) 2018 in January-August 2021. The number of samples in this study has gone through the data cleaning process and obtained as many as 59,210 samples. This data analysis technique used descriptive univariate analysis. The results obtained from the incidence of filariasis in North Sumatra Province as many as 623 (1.1%), with the age of the majority of respondents >24 years as many as 35,265 (59.6%), the majority being female as many as 30,499 (51.5%), the majority being education in the low category was 39,984 (67.5%), working status was 35,776 (60.4%), the majority lived in rural areas as much as 33,117 (55.9%), the majority used mosquito nets as much as 36,167 (61.1%), the majority of respondents did not use Reppelent 30,414 (51.4%), the majority of respondents did not install mosquito netting as many as 49,712 (84.0%), the majority of respondents did not consume filariasis prevention drugs as many as 51. 389 (86.8%) with the incidence of filariasis. It is hoped that the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office will coordinate with the district/city health offices in North Sumatra Province to maximize the consumption of filariasis drugs

Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever is still a serious public health problem in Indonesia. The number of dengue cases in Tebing Tinggi City is getting higher every year. This study aims to determine the relationship between individual characteristics, environmental factors and behavior with the incidence of DHF in the Tanjung Marulak Public Health Center, Tebing Tinggi City. The method used in this study is an analytical study method using a case-control study design. Analysis of research data with chi-square test. This research was conducted in the Tanjung Marulak Public Health Center, Tebing Tinggi City. From January to August 2021. The population of this study consisted of 1,457 households. The sample of this study amounted to 177 respondents. The sampling technique in the case used total sampling and the control sampling technique used gender matching. Data analysis, and discussion in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that the incidence of DHF was 59 respondents (33.3%) while those who had never contracted DHF were 118 respondents (66.7%) in the Tanjung Marulak Health Center Work Area. Cliff City. The incidence of DHF is more dominant in people aged >24 years as much as 73.4%. The majority of respondents suffering from DHF with female sex were 103 respondents (58.2%), the incidence of DHF was more dominant in respondents with low education as many as 140 respondents (79.1%) and the incidence of DHF was more dominant in respondents who worked as many as 116 respondents (65.5%). It is hoped that it can improve performance in the implementation of dengue control efforts and help establish policies and operational strategies that are efficient and effective in the implementation of dengue control in the community.

Abstract

Penyakit tidak menular, seperti hipertensi menjadi ancaman bagi masyarakat di negara berkembang. Penyakit hipertensi menjadi penyebab kematian, disebut silent killer. Penyakit ini menjadi tantangan masalah kesehatan secara global karena prevalensinya yang tinggi menyebabkan penyakit kardiovaskuler dan penyakit ginjal kronik (Mills et al., 2016). Prevalensi hipertensi di Propinsi Sumatera Utara mencapai 6.7% dari jumlah penduduk di Sumatera Utara, berdasarkan data Badan Litbangkes Kementerian Kesehatan. Ini berarti bahwa jumlah penduduk Sumatera Utara yang menderita hipertensi mencapai 12,42 juta jiwa tersebar di beberapa Kabupaten (Kemenkes, 2013). Kabupaten Karo salah satu jumlah hipertensi yang terbanyak, menyusul kabupaten Deli Serdang. Tahun 2016 jumlah penderita hipertensi di Kabupaten Karo sebesar 12.608 orang, prevalensi ini lebih tinggi pada jenis kelamin perempuan (52%) lelaki (48%), terbesar pada kelompok umur 55 – 59 tahun (Simbolon, 2016).Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksploratif dengan menggunakan metode quantitative dengan pendekatan quasi experiment. Pengukuran dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi. Penentuan jumlah sampel dengan cara simple random sampling, dan didapatkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 orang. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat, dan analisis t-dependen untuk mengetahui perberdaan sebelum dan setelah pelatihan.Hasil penelitian ini, bahwa prevalensi hipertensi sebelum dan setelah dilakukan intervensi senam antistroke mengalami penurunan. Dimana sebelum diberikan intervensi tekanan darah responden di atas 180/100 mmHg, namun setelah diberi intervensi rata-rata tekanan darah responden berada pada angka 140/85 mmHg. Keluhan subjektif yang dirasakan responden sebelun dan setelah diberikan intervensi senam anti stroke mengalami perubahan. Semula keluhan berada pada tingkat berat dan sedang, seteleh diintervensi keluhan berada pada tingkat sedang dan ringan.Kata Kunci: hipertensi, senam, antistroke, lansia, keluhan

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah bagaimana perlindungan hukum terhadap masyarakat muslim Kota Medan tentang produk makanan halal, proses pensertifikasian di Majelis Ulama Indonesia Kota Medan dan implementasi sertifikasi Halal MUI Kota Medan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum normatif, yaitu dilakukan dengan cara meneliti bahan pustaka atau sekunder yang terdiri dari bahan hukum primer, bahan hukum sekunder dan bahan hukum tersier. Analisis data yang digunakan dengan analisis kualitatif. Perlindungan hukum kepada masyarakat muslim Kota Medan terhadap Jaminan Produk Halal diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 18 tahun 2012 tentang Pangan, Undang-Undang Nomor 33 tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal, Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 69 tahun 1999 tentang Label dan Iklan Pangan, serta di dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 8 tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen dan adanya sertifikat halal yang dikeluarkan oleh MUI Kota Medan. Hambatan dalam menjaga kepastian hukum terhadap makanan halal bagi masyarakat muslim Kota Medan diantaranya adalah lemahnya koordinasi antara Pemerintah kota Medan dan MUI Kota Medan dan belum adanya peraturan pelaksanan terkait undang-undang jaminan produk halal, serta masih kurangnya sosialisasi yang dilakukan terkait jaminan produk halal kepada masyarakat. Hambatan eksternal berasal dari masyarakat dan pelaku usaha belum ada kesadaran masyarakat dan pelaku usaha untuk melakukan pendafataran sertifikasi halal.

Abstract

Abstract

The focus of this research is to look at the effectiveness of the implementation of Online Employee Performance Targets (SKP) in the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of North Sumatra Province, the inhibiting factors and the efforts made in implementing SKP-Online to improve the performance of the state civil apparatus optimally in Environment of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of North Sumatra Province. The research uses the theory by Gibson, Donnelly, and Ivancevich regarding organizational effectiveness, then is limited to the application of SKP-Online and employee behavior. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. In collecting data, researchers conducted observations, interviews and collected documents related to the application of SKP-Online within the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of North Sumatra Province. The results showed that the implementation of SKP-Online in the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of North Sumatra Province had not run well and optimally, as seen from the implementation process and supervision in the implementation of employee performance targets (SKP)-Online. Then the work environment is less productive and the apparatus resources are still incompetent and the employees' sense of responsibility towards their duties and functions as state civil servants. Efforts were made to improve employee performance in the application of SKP-Online, among others: 1. Creating an innovation by forming a group of employees of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of North Sumatra Province an application on the telephone. 2. Re-socialization to all employees in the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of North Sumatra Province, by making a tutorial on the operation of SKP-Online by the editing section. 3. Motivating employees to want to learn how to use and operate technology facilities. Overall, the efforts made have actually been quite good. It's just that over time these efforts have not fully succeeded in improving employee performance in implementing SKP-Online. because these efforts still have not shown a significant impact in building a sense of responsibility of employees towards their duties and increasing work discipline. Therefore, there is still a need for other efforts that are more decisive and have a significant impact to achieve the objectives of implementing SKP-Online, so that the provision of TPP is more efficient and able to optimally improve the quality of employee work and create a competent and quality work environment. Abstract

Syekh Musthafa Husein yang berasal dari Mandailing merupakan salah satu ulama besar yang melakukan perjalanan dakwah dalam menyiarkan agama Islam di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Pesantren Musthafawiyah yang didirikan Syekh Mustafa Husein menjadi salah satu pesantren tertua di Pulau Sumatera. Syekh Musthafa Husein berupaya meningkatkan kehidupan masyarakat terkhusus di wilayah Mandailing. Dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, tidak sedikit masyarakat yang menjadikan ulama sebagai tokoh panutan dalam menjalani kehidupannya. Upaya yang dilakukan Syekh Mustafa Husein untuk menjalin hubungan yang erat dengan masyarakat yaitu melalui bidang pendidikan, sosial, politik, dan ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemikiran ekonomi Syekh Musthafa Husein. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif analisis konten (conten analysis) dengan menggunakan data sekunder yakni artikel, hasil penelitian, dan buku referensi yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Syekh Mustafa Husen menerapkan konsep Mudharabah dalam mengelola perkebunan pada lahan-lahan Pesantren Musthafawiyah. Kerjasama antara pesantren dan pekerja kebun didasarkan pada bagi hasil yang saling memguntungkan dan menghindari terjadinya eksploitasi yang merugikan pekerja. Koperasi yang didirikan oleh Syekh Musthafa Husein sebagai bentuk kemandirian yang selalu ditanamkan kepada santri-santrinya dan salah satu upaya untuk memperbaiki tingkat ekonomi masyarakat. Koperasi tersebut telah memberikan kesempatan kepada masyarakat menjadi pemasok barang hasil produksi mereka untuk selanjutnya diperjualbelikan melalui koperasi.

Abstract

Background: Pictorial health warning on cigarette packs has been implemented since 2014, but smokers in Indonesia increase every years. Pictorial health warning on cigarette packs must be continuously evaluated regarding its effectiveness in reducing smoking behavior in Indonesia. Regulated about Regulations of pictorial health warning on cigarettes packs are expected to makesmokers to quit smoking and regulations that have been in effect since 2014 should have been evaluated to see pictorial health warning on cigarettes packs that can change the behavior of smokers or prospective smokers in adolescents. This study aims to describe perceptions of pictorial health warning on cigarette packs and smoking behavior and intention to quits smoking of undergraduate student of state Islamic University of North Sumatra. Methodology: This research was conducted to students of the Islamic University of North Sumatra as many as 215 students. The study was conducted in March 2019 using a structured questionnaire that had been prepared. The data in this study will be presented in the form of frequency distributions and then the results are presented in the table. Results: The results of this study indicate that the respondents felt not fear with pictorial health warning on cigarette packs as many as 165 people (76.7%). For the smoking behavior of students it was found that as many as 147 people (68.4%) stated that they had not smoking and respondents who stated smokers as many as 68 people (31.6%), wanted to stop smoking after seeing picture health warning on cigarette packaging as many as 28 people (41.2%). Respondents who said they would continue smokingeven though they had seen pictorial health warning on cigarette packs as many as 40 people (58.8%). Conclusion: The majority of students undergraduates of the North Sumatra State Islamic University (UIN SU) were not afraid when they saw pictorial health warning on cigarette packs and students undergraduates have smoking behaviour. Those who smoke said they wanted to stop smoking after seeing pictorial health warning on cigarette packs especially when looking at ppictorial health warning on cigarette packs related to smoking resulting in lung cancer. Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze the development strategy of the PPM Al-Kautsar Micro Waqf Bank in the Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The data analysis technique used is the SWOT analysis method (Strenght, Weakness, Opportunity, Threats). Based on the results of the SWOT matrix analysis, it is known that the strategy that can be carried out in developing a Micro Waqf Bank is stratetgi SO by using all strengths to take advantage of existing opportunities. The strategy is consistency of low mentoring services (ju'alah, without collateral and interest by utilizing government restructuring programs, utilizing the role of kyai in establishing good cooperation and building trust with institutions, local governments, the community socializing the existence of BWM, carrying out Halmi routines during a pandemic virtually and directly by complying with health protocols in providing education, direction, education to customers,  improving the quality of services and products even though it already exists with a ball pick-up system, optimizing the empowerment of mentoring through digital so that customers can survive during the pandemic despite social restrictions but empowerment continues to run. The strategy of developing BWM is to use BWM digitalization in providing virtual education, promoting customer products through e-commerce and social media, utilizing the role of kiyai in socializing BWM programs to the community Penelitain ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pengembangan Bank Wakaf Mikro PPM Al-Kautsar di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota?. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode analisis SWOT (Strenght, Weakness,Opportunity, Threats). berdasarkan hasil analisis matriks SWOT diketahui bahwa strategi yang dapat dilakukan dalam  mengembangkan Bank Wakaf Mikro yaitu Stratetgi SO dengan menggunakan seluruh kekuatan unuk memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Strateginya adalah Konsistensi jasa pendampingan rendah (jualah, tanpa agunan dan bunga dengan memanfaatkan program restrukturisasi pemerintah, memanfaatkan peran kiyai dalam menjalin kerja sama yang baik dan membangun kepercayaan dengan lembaga, pemerintah setempat, masyarakat mensosialisasikan keberadaan BWM, melakukan rutinitas Halmi saat pandemic secara virtual dan langsung dengan mematuhi protokol kesehatan dalam memberikan edukasi, arahan, pendidikan kepada nasabah, meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan produk meski sudah ada dengan sistem jemput bola, optimalisasi pemberdayaan pendampingan melalui digital supaya nasabah tetap bertahan saat pandemi meskipun adanya pembatasan sosial tetapi pemberdayaan tetap berjalan. Strategi mengembangkan BWM yaitu menggunakan digitalisasi BWM dalam memberikan edukasi secara virtual, mempromosikan produk-produk nasabah melalui e-commerce dan media sosial, memanfaatkan peran kiyai dalam mensosialisasikan program BWM kepada masyarakat.
