Abstract

This research was motivated by problems that researchers found at SLB N 1 Lima Kaum. A Cerebral Palsy student who is still not optimal in multiplication 1-10. This research aims to improve the ability to multiply numbers 1-10 using the Mentessori Multiplication Board learning media. Researchers use quantitative research with an experimental approach in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR). With A-B-A design. Data was analyzed using graphic visual analysis. Techniques for collecting data include tests and data collection tools for test questions. The subjects of the research were Cerebral Palsy students in class VIII SLB N 1 Lima Kaum. The research results show that the Mentessori multiplication board learning media is effectively used to improve the ability to multiply 1-10.

Abstract

This research focuses on improving the ability to recognize alphabet letters in mildly mentally retarded children at SLB Negeri 1 Harau, Limapuluh Kota Regency by using educational posters for alphabet sounds. Alphabet sound education poster media can combine audio and visual functions by pressing the buttons available on the media. This research uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods, namely Single Subject Research (SSR) and A1-B-A2 Design, and data is analyzed using visual graphs by entering data in graphs which are then analyzed based on conditions A1-B-A2. The results of research using educational posters using alphabet sound media can improve the ability to recognize alphabet letters in mildly mentally retarded children at SLB Negeri 1 Harau, Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota.

Abstract

This research focuses on improving the ability to calculate adding natural numbers 1 - 100 for students with autism at SLB Insan Mulia Payakumbuh using smart board media. Smart board media is a two-dimensional media in the form of a board that gives messages to the target and makes it easier for students to operate and understand additions properly and correctly. This research uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods, namely Single Subject Research (SSR) and A1-B-A2 Design, and data is analyzed using visual graphs by entering data in graphs which are then analyzed based on conditions A1-B-A2. The results of research using smart board media can improve the ability to calculate adding natural numbers 1-100 for students with autism at SLB Insan Mulia Payakumbuh.

Abstract

This research aims to prove whether activity book media in improving the writing skills of children with severe hearing impairment, especially writing simple SPO sentences at SLB Budi Karya, Limapuluh Kota Regency. The activity book media is in the form of a 2-dimensional media book containing modified sentence pattern exercises to help students improve their writing skills. This research uses a quantitative approach with the Single Subject Research (SSR) experimental method with an A-B-A design, as well as data analysis using visual graphs that include data obtained during observation of A-B-A conditions into graphs. The results of research on the effectiveness of activity book can improve writing skills, especially writing simple sentences in class X deaf children at SLB Budi Karya Limapuluh Kota Regency.

Abstract

This study is based on the problems found in a child with mild mental retardation in class VII SLB Negeri 1 Lima Kaum, who still does not recognize all the letters of the alphabet. This study aims to prove whether the application of the Meka A Match learning model can improve the ability of mildly mentally retarded children to recognize alphabetic letters. This type of research is an experiment with a Single Subject Research (SSR) approach using the A-B-A design, and the subject is a mildly retarded girl in class VII SLB Negeri 1 Lima Kaum. Data collection techniques using action tests and visual graph data analysis in various conditions. The study lasted for 14 meetings, and the results showed that the Make A Match learning method was effective in improving the ability of mildly retarded children in recognizing alphabetic letters.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang kemampuan anak dalam menulis kalimat sederhana, namum tidak semua orang yang memiliki keterampilan menulis yang baik termasuk anak disgrafia. Maka dari itu peneliti tertarik untuk mengajarkan anak dalam menulis kalimat sederhana menggunakan media buku halus kasar agar anak terampil dalam menulis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen berbentuk Single Subject Reseach (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah analisis visual grafik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keterampilan menulis kalimat sederhana meningkat setelah menggunakan media buku halus kasar pada anak disgrafia. Dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya keterampilan menulis kalimat sederhana dari kondisi baseline ke kondisi setelah diberikanya intervensi

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang sebuah efektivitas aplikasi marbel dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan dalam hal melafalkan huruf vokal pada anak disleksia. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang peneliti temukan pada saat melakukan observasi di sebuah sekolah dasar peneliti menemukan seorang anak perempuan berinisial A di kelas III SD yang mengalami kesulitan membaca terutama dalam hal membaca permulaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan keekfektivan aplikasi marbel dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan bagi anak disleksia. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan subjek tunggal (SSR) dengan desain yang digunakan yaitu A-B-A. Desain A–B–A merupakan desain SSR yang memperlihatkan sebuah hubungan sebab akibat antara variabel terikat dengan variabel bebas. Hasil yang didapatkan dari kemampuan anak disetiap kondisi yaitu memperoleh skor 0% pada kondisi (A1). Saat diberikan intervensi skor yang didapat anak pada membaca permulaan dalam hal melafalkan huruf vokal meningkat menjadi 40% dan pada kondisi (A2) diperoleh skor 93%. Dari perbandingan hasil yang didapat dari setiap data mengalami peningkatan. Sehinga dapat dinyatakan bahwa aplikasi marbel berbasis android efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan pada anak disleksia di SDN 157/III Pendung Mudik Kabupaten Kerinci.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang kepedulian sosial masyarakat tentang anak berkebutuhan khusus di Nagari III Koto Aur Malintang Kecamatan IV Koto Aur Malintang. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan yang peneliti temukan dilapangan saat melakukan observasi di  Nagari III Koto Aur Malintang Kecamatan IV Koto Aur Malintang.  Peneliti menemukan ada beberapa masyarakat yang masih belum menerima anak berkebutuhan khusus terutama anak tunagrahita dan masyarakat yang menerima anak berkebutuhan khusus, faktor kurang pemahaman yang berkaitan tentang anak berkebutuhan khusus sehingga masyarakat masih mengangap bahwa anak berkebutuhan khusus ini harus diasingkan, dijauhi dan tidak boleh didekati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kepedulian sosial masyarakat tentang anak berkebutuhan khusus terutama anak tunagrahita.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dekriptif kualitatif yang difokuskan pada aspek-aspek kepedulian sosial dan implementasi kepedulian sosial. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah masyarakat. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Aspek-Aspek Kepedulian Sosial dan 2) Implementasi Kepedulian Sosial. Disarankan bagi penulis selanjutnya memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat supaya masyarakat merangkul, memberikan perhatian ataupun bantuan kepada anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus terutama tunagrahita agar menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri dan saat bersosialisasi dengan masyarakat anak tidak merasa diasingkan atau dijauhi didalam lingkungan masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effects of colored bead Montessori learning media to students’ numeral thinking skills none of the elementary schools (SD) in Padang, Indonesia. This study used a quantitative method with a single-subject research approach, the research data was taken from a student with dyscalculia through fifteen direct lessons using colored bead Montessori learning media. Data were analyzed by using visual graphical analysis tool descriptively were analyzed descriptively using visual graphical analysis tools. The results of this study showed that the use of colored bead Montessori learning media based on the analysis can actually improve the numeracy skills of students with dyscalculia in learning. This improvement is proved by, at first the students' scores were 2, 4, 4, 4, this was the value before the researcher used the media. Furthermore, after the researcher did seven times direct treatment, it was found that the students' scores increased to 10, 13, 15, 18, 20, 20, 20, even students were able to obtain self-evaluation scores with numbers 20, 20, 20, 20. The results of this study proved that the use of colored bead Montessori media has been able to improve the numeracy skills of students in learning. Referring to the results of this research, colored bead Montessori can be used as an alternative media in learning numeracy skills of students with dyscalculia none of the elementary schools.
