Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to recognize number symbols from 1 to 10 through the use of Number Board media in children with mild intellectual disabilities. The approach used in this research is quantitative, with an experimental methodology in the form of a single-subject (SSR) design using an A-B model. The subject of this study was a fourth-grade student at SLBN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti who had difficulty recognizing number symbols. The data collection technique used was a test, with instruments consisting of questions requiring the student to name and point to number symbols. The data analysis technique employed in this study was visual graph analysis. The research was conducted over 12 meetings,3 meetings during the baseline phase with percentage scores of 10%, 10%, and 10%, and 9 meetings during the intervention phase with percentage scores of 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100%, 100%, and 100%. The improvement was accompanied by a positive trend in the direction of the data and significant stability in the results. This study shows that the Number Board media can help children recognize number symbols in addition operations in a concrete, simple, and enjoyable way.

Abstract

Tenaga kependidikan merupakan komponen penting dalam keberhasilan proses pendidikan, yang tidak terbatas hanya pada peran pengajar tetapi juga mencakup tenaga pendukung seperti bimbingan konseling, pamong belajar, dan staf administrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran strategis tenaga kependidikan tersebut dalam mendukung pencapaian tujuan pendidikan di lembaga pendidikan formal. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah bagaimana tenaga bimbingan konseling membantu siswa mengatasi masalah pribadi dan akademik, peran pamong belajar dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran yang aktif dan interaktif, serta kontribusi staf administrasi dalam mendukung operasional pendidikan yang efektif. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sinergi antara bimbingan konseling, pamong belajar, dan staf administrasi memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja sekolah, kesejahteraan siswa, dan kualitas layanan pendidikan. Namun demikian, penelitian ini juga menemukan beberapa kendala, seperti beban kerja yang tinggi dan kurangnya pelatihan berkelanjutan yang mempengaruhi efektivitas tenaga kependidikan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kebijakan yang mendukung pengembangan kompetensi tenaga kependidikan secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

Pendidikan inklusif berbasis kearifan lokal penting untuk memperluas akses pendidikan Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK), terutama di daerah seperti Nagari Sulit Air, Kabupaten Solok. Tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan guru, fasilitas, dan pemanfaatan budaya lokal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan pendidikan inklusif berbasis nilai budaya Minangkabau. Metode yang digunakan berupa sosialisasi, pelatihan, simulasi pembelajaran, dan pendampingan. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan desain one group pretest-posttest terhadap 30 guru dari 15 Sekolah Dasar. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata skor pretest 60,5 meningkat menjadi 97,5 pada posttest. Uji paired sample t-test membuktikan perbedaan signifikan (t(30) = 3,38; p = 0,002). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa program berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi guru sekaligus mendorong lahirnya rancangan pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal. Model ini berpotensi menjadi praktik baik dalam pengembangan pendidikan inklusif di Kabupaten Solok.

Abstract

The problem underlying this research is that many students are still unable to understand the reading they read. So, with the child's inability to read literal comprehension affects the child's learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of interactive digital comic strip media to improve literal reading comprehension for children with reading difficulties. The study was conducted using an experimental research type in the form of a single subject study with an A-B-A design. The data analysis technique was in the form of visual graphics and the research instruments were in the form of oral and written tests. Where in the baseline data collection (A) is the child's initial ability to read literal comprehension, Intervention (B) is the ability to read literal comprehension when the treatment was given, and the second baseline data (A2) is the child's ability to read literal comprehension when the treatment was withdrawn. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase in the ability to read literal comprehension after being given treatment in the form of interactive digital comic strip media. This shows that interactive digital comic strip media is effective for use in learning literal reading comprehension for children who have reading difficulties. Improvements occurred both in terms of the amount of information understood, the ability to remember the contents of the reading, and the accuracy of answering literal questions.

Abstract

Students with emotional and behavioral disorders generally experience difficulties in socializing, communicating, thinking processes, and have behaviors that can make the environment uncomfortable. Based on the results of the assessment that has been carried out in an inclusive school, there is one student with emotional and behavioral disorders who shows difficulties in expressive communication skills in class. The results of the identification and assessment that the researcher conducted are based on the identification instrument for children with special needs and expressive communication assessment. The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of the PECS book media in improving expressive communication skills in students with emotional and behavioral disorders. The study used a single subject research form with an A-B-A design. The research subject is one person with the target behavior of students with emotional and behavioral disorders who can improve their expressive communication skills. The results of the study show an increase in expressive communication skills in students after being given the PECS book media. It is recommended that teachers can use the PECS book media as a learning medium that aims to help students improve their expressive communication skills.

Abstract

Children with intellectual disabilities generally experience obstacles in their academics, one of which is in mathematics lessons, namely performing multiplication operations at school. Based on the results of assessments that have been carried out in special schools, there are children who cannot perform multiplication operations from 1 to 10. The results of the identification and assessment conducted by researchers are based on the identification instrument for children with special needs and numeracy assessments. The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of the GASING method (Easy, Fun, and Enjoyable). The selection of research subjects uses the identification instrument for children with special needs and numeracy assessments. This study uses a single subject research form with a multiple baseline cross variable design. The research subject is one person with the aspect of performing multiplication operations from 1 to 10. Data were collected through performance tests and the tools used are multiplication operation performance test instruments and data processing used are percentages. Data analysis is made in the form of visual graphic analysis consisting of analysis within conditions and analysis between conditions. The results of the study show an increase in performing multiplication operations from 1 to 10 after being given the GASING method. It is recommended that teachers use the GASING method to help children perform multiplication operations.

vulnerable to copyright infringement, such as unauthorized reproduction and distribution. The problems that arise include: How is legal protection for e-book copyrights regulated under Indonesian positive law, and what are the legal sanctions for the misuse of e-book copyrights? This research uses a normative juridical approach and examines applicable legal provisions, particularly Law No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright and Article 25 of the Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) Law. The results show that e-books are protected as literary works, and authors possess moral rights as regulated in Article 5 of the Copyright Law, as well as economic rights as stipulated in Articles 8 to 11. Legal protection is divided into two forms: preventive and repressive, with criminal sanctions regulated in Article 113 of Law No. 28 of 2014, civil sanctions in Article 95 paragraphs (1) and (2), and administrative sanctions for violators as regulated by the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia No. 5 of 2020. Strict law enforcement and public awareness of the importance of respecting copyright are key to creating a fair and sustainable digital ecosystem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari permasalahan yang ditemukan oleh peneliti di SLB YPAC Sumatera Barat. Seorang siswa disabilitas intelektual yang belum mampu menghitung operasi hitung penjumlahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penjumlahan dengan menggunakan media Summation Board. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eskperimen dalam bentuk single subject research (SSR), dengan pola desain A-B-A. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada fase baseline awal (A1), yang dilakukan selama tiga sesi pertemuan, diperoleh data yang stabil yaitu 9%. Pada fase intervensi (B), yang dilakukan selama enam pertemuan dengan memperoleh presentase stabil 90%. Selanjutnya pada sesi baseline (A2) yang dilakukan selama tiga kali pertemuan memiliki presentase stabil yaitu 81%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Summation Board dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penjumlahan pada bilangan 1-20.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini berawal dari ditemukannya seorang peserta didik down syndrome di kelas VIII SLB Luak Nan Bungsu yang belum mampu menjumlahkan bilangan asli (1-9) dalam pembelajaran matematika fase D. Rumusan masalahnya adalah apakah aktivitas meronce manik-manik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penjumlahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan penjumlahan hingga hasil maksimal 10 melalui aktivitas meronce manik-manik, menggunakan pendekatan Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B. Subjek adalah satu siswa laki-laki dengan keterbatasan dalam penjumlahan. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sebelum intervensi, peserta didik hanya mampu menjawab 22,22%, namun setelah intervensi meningkat hingga 88,89%. Dengan demikian, aktivitas meronce terbukti efektif meningkatkan kemampuan penjumlahan dan dapat menjadi media pembelajaran konkret yang menyenangkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari permasalahan yang peneliti temukan di SLBNegeri 1 Painan yaitu seorang peserta didik disabilitas intelektual ringan yang belummampu mengenal lambang bilangan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut,digunakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih konkret dan kontekstual melaluipenerapan model discovery learning. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikanmodel discovery learning efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal lambangbilangan 1 sampai 20 pada anak disabilitas intelektual ringan kelas II di SLB Negeri 1Painan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metodeeksperimen berbentuk SSR (single subject research) dan desain A-B-A.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada kondisi baseline (A1) dilakukan pengamatansebanyak 4 kali dengan persentase stabil 56%. Setelah diberikan intervensi (B)menggunakan model discovery learning, terjadi peningkatan dengan presentase stabil93% dan pada kondisi baseline (A2) memperoleh persentase stabil 93%.Berdasarkan analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa model Discovery Learning efektifdalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan 1-20 pada anakdisabilitas intelektual ringan
