Abstract

Maggots are one of the fly larvae with a high protein content of up to 30-45%, so maggots can be used as an alternative animal feed ingredient. As one of the sources of animal feed raw materials, insects-based feed must also be safe from contaminants of microorganisms, including pathogenic bacteria. Therefore, this study aims to isolate and determine the screening of pathogenic and non-pathogenic bacteria from maggots' digestive systems. Maggots are cultivated on media based on animal faecal and organic waste for 2 months. Then, the bacteria are isolated and purified using nutrient agar media, and hemolysis tests are carried out on blood agar media and Gram staining. Eighty-seven bacterial colonies with various morphological characteristics were successfully isolated from the maggot digestive system. Most isolated bacteria are classified as Gram-negative bacteria with a bacilli form. Based on the results of the hemolysis test, as many as 16% of bacterial isolates are indicated by pathogenic bacteria because of their ability to hemolyze blood. However, only about 2% showed b-hemolysis. Thus, it can be concluded that the screening results of non-pathogenic bacteria are still more numerous compared to pathogenic bacteria present in the maggot digestive system.

Abstract

Aspergillosis is a common respiratory disease in avian species. The infection of Aspergillus sp. is characterized by the presence of yellowish plaques or nodules in the respiratory tract such as the trachea, air sac, and lungs. This study aimed to isolate Aspergillus sp. from the lungs of sparrows. The samples used in this research were the lungs of 35 sparrows taken randomly. Isolation was carried out by Thompson’s method (1969), samples were embedded in Saboraud’s Dextrose Agar (SDA) media and then incubated for 2-7 days. The growth of Aspergillus sp. colonies was observed at 24-hour intervals by looking at the color, shape, edges, and bottom surface of the colonies. Meanwhile, to ensure and confirm the species of Aspergillus sp., the fungus was planted on slide culture media. After that, microscopic observations were conducted by looking at the growth of conidiophores, hyphae, phialids, and fungal conidia. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively. The result showed that Aspergillus sp. can be isolated from 27 out 35 samples. Based on the result of this study it can be concluded that 77.14% of samples were infected by Aspergillus sp. consisting of Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus flavus.

Abstract

Inventory management in the TVRI Makassar Inventory Division is inefficient due to the lack of a predictive system, hampering proactive asset requirement planning. This study aims to apply the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm to analyze historical borrowing patterns, predict demand for goods three months in advance, and evaluate model accuracy. Using a quantitative approach, this study implements a systematic machine learning workflow, including data preprocessing, temporal feature engineering, class imbalance handling using the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE), and hyperparameter optimization using GridSearchCV. The results show that the optimized KNN model achieved an overall accuracy of 80.18%, significantly outperforming the baseline model. Key findings revealed that the model's performance is contextual, with very high reliability (F1-Score > 0.95) on frequently borrowed assets, and is able to identify strong temporal demand patterns. It is concluded that KNN is effective for segmented inventory demand prediction and has the potential to serve as a basis for TVRI Makassar to adopt a proactive, data-driven inventory management strategy, enabling more efficient resource allocation.

Abstract

Hadith for Muslims has a very important position, because it reveals various traditions that developed at the time of the Prophet Muhammad which were full of various Islamic teachings. Understanding hadith is very important because hadith is the legal basis after the Qur'an, so its validity must be ensured, it is important to study the science of hadith or the blasphemy of a hadith, especially in this case the blasphemy of dhaif hadith, because hadith is the second source of law used by Muslims in determining or deciding a law. As intellectuals, we should show progress in the field of science, especially in the field of religion so that we don't make mistakes in implementing it in life. The purpose of this study is to explain the blasphemy of dhaif hadiths among muhaddisin scholars. The research method used is library research with data collection techniques through good documentation from books, journals, articles and other sources that discuss the blasphemy of dhaif hadiths. The findings of the research show that, in general, the scholars reject it as evidence and the scholars also agree to prohibit the narration of dhaif hadiths that are maudhu' without mentioning their willingness. But if the dhaif hadith is not a maudhu hadith, then there is still a dispute about whether or not it is permissible to narrate it for hujjah

Abstract

The determination of permanent employees is a crucial strategic decision for every organization. This decision affects productivity, efficiency, and work culture within the company. This study aims to analyze and determine permanent employees using the OCRA (Operational Competitiveness Rating Analysis) Method. OCRA is a method that assesses employee performance based on indicators of Length of Work, Work Loyalty, Age, Last Education, Work Performance, Communication Skills, and Teamwork Skills that are relevant to the operations of a company. In this study, employee performance data is collected and analyzed using a quantitative approach. Each employee is assessed based on a number of criteria that include productivity, quality of work, compliance with procedures, and contribution to the team and the company as a whole. The results of the OCRA analysis are then used to identify employees who have superior performance and deserve to be considered as permanent employees. The results of the study show that the OCRA Method is able to provide an objective and measurable assessment in determining permanent employees. A3-employees with the highest OCRA scores are proven to have consistent performance and a significant contribution to the achievement of company goals. This study concludes that the use of the OCRA Method in determining permanent employees can increase transparency and accuracy in human resource management decision-making.
