This study aims to determine the implementation of the provision of guidance and counseling services by classroom teachers and find out how the development and change of students in the State Elementary School 200111 Padangsidimpuan after receiving guidance and counseling services from class teachers. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive model. The sample of this study was 12 classroom teacher respondents in 200111 Padangsidimpuan Public Elementary School. The way to collect data is by interview and documentation. The method of data analysis in research is by data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. Researchers obtained information that the implementation of guidance and counseling services performed by class teachers includes in four parts of guidance and counseling. The four sections are in the areas of personal, social, study and career guidance. The provision of guidance and counseling services according to their fields is carried out by providing enthusiasm, advice and motivation to students. This study concludes the implementation of guidance and counseling services carried out by each class teacher using electic counseling techniques and the results of the guidance obtained is that there are changes in attitudes and abilities shown by students in a direction that is better than before. The implementation of equality education is now at a stage where this education is an alternative education that can be used to develop access to education. Changes that occur in students who at first most of the school age change to school age. The implementation of this education consists of Package A, Package B, and Package C, one of which is held by the Love Bundo Bukittinggi City Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM). The background to the occurrence of dropouts at this time is generally dominated by disciplinary problems that are deemed failing to be obeyed by students. This eventually reached a turning point that made them aware of returning to school. Unfortunately, equality education has not been facilitated with real counseling guidance services. For now guidance and counseling services are taken over by all subject teachers. The study was conducted in a descriptive qualitative manner by describing what information was in accordance with the phenomenon that occurred. Data were analyzed by stages of reduction, presentation, drawing conclusions and data verification. The field of service development is focused on learning, social, personal and career. Service delivery is more inclined in the form of motivation and enthusiasm to persist in continuing to complete education, experience is a valuable lesson so that it does not recur. Based on the results of the study note that teachers use Eclectic Counseling and specifically some cases use Home Room Program techniques. The results shown by this activity are prioritized towards changing attitudes and behavior of students to be able to return to formal education.Keywords: Counseling guidance services, Dropouts, Equality Education

Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling merupakan hal yang sangat penting dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar (SD). Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling di SDIT Adzkia 1 Padang, dilaksanakan dengan mengintegrasikan program yang dinamakan pendidikan karakter. Program pendidikan karakter ini mencakup 10 karakter yang dibentuk pada setiap siswa di SDIT Adzkia 1 Padang. Program ini terintegrasi pada seluruh mata pelajaran dan mencakup seluruh lini yang ada di sekolah. Dalam pelaksanaannya, pendidikan karakter diterapkan melalui 4 pendekatan, yaitu pendekatan keteladanan, pendekatan pembiasaan, pendekatan nasehat dan pendekatan reward and punishment. Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam Program Pendidikan Karakter di SDIT Adzkia 1 telah terdifusi ke dalam proses pembelajaran dan terintegrasi juga dengan pendidikan karakter. Guru kelas telah berfungsi sebagai guru BK/konselor. Namun masih terdapat keterbatasan dalam penerapan layanan BK di SDIT Adzkia 1 Padang. Untuk layanan konseling kelompok serta bimbingan kelompok belum bisa terlaksana di SDIT Adzkia 1 Padang. Keywords: Layanan BK, Sekolah Dasar, Pendidikan Karakter

There has long been concern about advisors in schools because their roles change quickly and significantly in response to trends in society. This has resulted in various conceptions and misconceptions about their roles. This article describes the emergence of school counseling as a profession, outlining the history of the development of the school counseling model (eg vocational guidance, mental health movements, and developmental guidance). Counselors in schools must be promoted as leaders or provide recommendations to school counselors who seek leadership-related status. Furthermore, the authors explain that tactical advocacy for marginalized students and targeted partnerships with school principals are an integral part of strengthening a school counselor. Recommendations are offered for counselors in schools to be able to hone the importance of leadership skills, especially through professional development (for example in services, distance learning and continuing education courses).Keywords: Counseling, School, Leadership

The purpose of this article is to describe the development and career character as the human being is the social creatures, they can survive by socializing with the environment, society and their natural surroundings. Industrial Zone 4.0 has brought many behavioural and career changes that cannot be ruled out by anyone. This has given many problems and challenges to counsellor practitioners to provide diverse aspirations and motivations to the wider community. These problems and challenges include the low attitude of mutual help to help one another, the high rate of mutual prejudice to others, the lack of honesty for the achievement of desired goals, the high behaviour of crime. So, it is hoped that counsellors will continue to improve the basic knowledge of human needs and services in the Industrial Zone 4.0.

The study aimed to measure Student Anxiety Levels in the Music Performance Anxiety Scale (MPAS) for high school (SMA) students with musical interests in Padang City, and to conduct studies on validity and reliability. In this case, the scale will be developed for use for middle school students (adolescents), and differences between the sexes will be examined. The research was conducted on 546 high school students. Of these students, 185 (33.9%) is male, 361 (66.1%) is female, and the average age is 16.81 with an age range of 15 to 20. The correlation value of scaled items between them and with the total items is checked as a preliminary analysis. As a result of the engineering of the EFA's main components, promax rotation techniques and their analysis, three-factor construction accounted for a total of 42.74% of the total variants achieved. The achieved structure is validated by the CFA, and a match index is found in the acceptance interval. In reliability studies, Alpha Cronbach's internal consistency coefficient was calculated as 0.86 for the entire scale, 27% for bottom-up group comparisons and re-test analysis conducted. T-tests were conducted to determine the difference between the sexes. As a result of the study, a valid and reliable visible scale has been developed and the differences between the sexes are clearly visible.

This article aims to see how the implementation of counseling services with a cross-cultural approach and counseling outreach services in non-performing arts competitions. Written by a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, data obtained from observation, documentation and interviews. Research that focuses on the implementation of counseling services at SMA Negeri 2 Padang Panjang by paying attention to the Counseling Guidance service and the extracurricular development of the Youth Counseling Information Center (PIK-R). It is found that in the socialization of counseling can be carried out by counselors and counselees with different cultural backgrounds. Students who come from certain ethnicities and religions can still get optimal service. Besides that, PIK-R's extracurricular role in realizing counseling socialization in the form of performances and art competitions, is creative and effective in achieving the objectives of counseling in general. Counseling guidance which partly has a negative stigma for students will think otherwise, if this kind of socialization is carried out continuously.

This article discusses the character arrangement of students, in this case students, from learning pop music to students. Compiled with quantitative methods with literature review. The main problem here is that there are too many types of music available at this time, one of which is pop music. In this day and age, pop music has been worldwide from an early age until adults love pop music, thus allowing pop music to be well received. Learning the art of music in services is to provide direct experience in the learning process for students, including other learning such as literature and language learning, skills and others. The formation of student character by learning pop music will determine the character of students from each song in pop music. In the 2013 curriculum, several materials were stipulated that support teachers to provide opportunities for students to develop character through learning pop music, including in the subject of Cultural Arts for junior high school level.

Psikologi humanistik memberi perhatian atas guru sebagai fasilitator untuk memberi kemudahan belajar dan berbagai kualitas fasilitator. Implikasi kecerdasan ganda sebagai bagian dari teori humanistik adalah sebagai berikut: Pendidikan harus memerhatikan semua kemampuan intelektual, pendidikan harusnya individual, memotivasi siswa, sekolah memfasilitasi siswa mengembangkan inteligensi ganda, evaluasi proses harus lebih kontekstual, proses pembelajaran dapat terjadi dimana dan kapan saja. Psikologi humanistik sangat relevan dengan dunia pendidikan, karena aliran ini selalu mendorong peningkatan kualitas diri manusia melalui penghargaannya terhadap potensi-potensi positif yang ada pada setiap insan. Seiring dengan perubahan dan tuntutan zaman, proses pendidikan pun senantiasa berubah. Dengan adanya perubahan dalam strategi pendidikan dari waktu ke waktu, humanistik memberikan arahan yang signifikan dalam pencapaian tujuan pendidikan. Teori belajar humanistik merupakan proses belajar yang harus berhulu dan bermuara pada manusia itu sendiri. Dalam teori belajar humanistik, belajar dianggap berhasil jika si pelajar memahami lingkungannya dan dirinya sendiri. Siswa dalam proses belajarnya harus berusaha agar lambat laun ia mampu mencapai aktualisasi diri dengan sebaik-baiknya.

Answering the challenges in the world of education today is how a teacher is able to provide knowledge to students, in the form of a learning process. Teachers are required to be able to present an interesting learning process so that students have the motivation to follow the learning process from beginning to end. The teacher learning design can combine several methods so that a varied learning process is formed so that the teacher can facilitate all students from various forms of student learning styles. Motivation to learn can also be done by the teacher by giving awards, praise, and mentoring individually or in groups. The motivation of students will produce learning outcomes as desired, because children following the learning process do not feel forced to emerge from within themselves, so that what is given in any form students will be able to process new knowledge for themselves. Menjawab tantangan dalam dunia pendidikan saat ini adalah bagaiman seorang guru mampu memberikan pengetahuan kepada peserta didik, dalam bentuk proses pembelajaran. Guru dituntut mampu menyajikan proses pembelajaran yang menarik supaya peserta didik memiliki motivasi untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran dari awal hingga akhir. Desain pembelajaran guru dapat melakukan penggabungan beberapa metode sehingga terbentuk bervariasi proses pembelajaran dengan begitu guru dapat memfasilitasi semua peserta didik dari berbagai bentuk gaya belajar peserta didik. Motivasi belajar juga bisa dilakukan guru dengan memberikan penghargaan, pujian, dan pendampingan secara individu maupun kelompok. Motivasi peserta didik akan menghasilkan hasil belajar sesuai yang diinginkan, karena anak mengikuti proses pembelajaran tidak merasa terpaksa muncul dari dalam dirinya, sehingga apa yang diberikan dalam betuk apapun peserta didik akan mampu memproses menjadi pengetahuan baru bagi dirinya.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, motivasi, proses pembelajaran DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jbt.v8i3.21582
