Abstract

The production of carton boxes is an energy-intensive process that generates various contaminants, polluting water and air, and affecting both ecology and human health. This study focuses on the environmental impact during the carton box production process at PT XYZ, aiming to calculate and analyze the environmental impact while measuring the eco-efficiency level of the production process. The research method employed in this study is quantitative descriptive, with primary data sources consisting of interviews, while secondary data includes company reports. Data were processed using SimaPro software and the Eco Indicator 99 method. Eco-efficiency measurement was conducted using the Life Cycle Assessment approach. The results indicate that the production of 1 ton of carton boxes generates an environmental impact of 315 Pt, with the largest contributions coming from the corrugating, folding, and customer delivery stages. The eco-cost value was IDR8,922,503, yielding an eco-efficiency index of 1.34, indicating that the production process is environmentally friendly and economical. However, the eco-efficiency ratio of 25.6% is still considered low, necessitating improvements in energy efficiency and emission reduction. Recommended improvements include substituting fossil fuels with renewable energy, selecting environmentally friendly suppliers, and replacing or modifying machinery to enhance efficiency and reduce emissions.

Abstract

Perkembangan Konten digital di Indonesia yang berkembang begitu pesat memberikan berbagai permasalahan yang timbul di tengah masyarakat mengenai peran pemerintah dalam pengawasan konten digital yang belum maksimal. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari beberapa kasus seperti blokir salah sasaran ataupun over blocking yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menilai sejauh mana prinsip transparansi dan akuntabilitas telah diwujudkan dalam pengawasan dan penanganan konten negatif di Indonesia, dengan mempertimbangkan laporan pertanggungjawaban, mekanisme pengambilan keputusan, dan pertanggungjawaban analisis konteks pemblokiran. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah yuridis- normatif yang bertitik tolak pada data sekunder yakni UU ITE berikut peraturan turunannya yang mana penelitian ini mayoritas merupakan penelitian kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis dan analisis data dilakukan dengan yuridis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa tidak terwujudnya prinsip transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam pengawasan konten digital yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah, mengacu dengan hal tersebut perlu adanya Lembaga independen yang mengatur mengenai pengawasan konten digital di Indonesia yang memiliki mekanisme kompleks sebagaimana regulasi di Australia.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the correlation between students’ ability to memorize the Qur’an and students’ learning achievement in the subject of al-Quran and hadiths. To achieve the objective, the study utilized quantitative method under the frame of correlational design involving seventy eleventh grade students who took al-Qur’an hadiths subject. To collect the data, the study utilized questionnaires. The obtain data were then analyzed by using correlation analysis technique through SPPS 20.0 software. The results showed that the ability to memorize the Qur'an has a significant correlation with the students’ learning achievement in the subject of al-Qur'an hadith. It is evidenced in the results of analysis that the two variables were correlated around 52.3% with a determination coefficient of 0.523 and a significance level (ρ) of 0.000. The students who have the ability to memorize the Qur’an have strong memories, good attention to details and brilliant thoughts because the students may have a lot of practice in matching the verses in the Qur’an with their memorization or recitation,. Therefore, it is expected that by increasing their ability in memorizing the Qur’an, the students can improve their learning achievement in the subject of al-Qur'an hadith since it uses Arabic as the Qur'an does.

Abstract

This study examines the use of Speech Acts complaining in Lilly Contino’s misgendering videos. Using Speech Acts categorizations by Searle (1969) and Moon’s (2002) complaining framework, the study aims to identify the strategy of complaints used by Lilly Contino and to examine its effectiveness. The study reveals that Lilly Contino used both implicit and explicit strategies. The implicit strategy used as an initial complaint by using assertive Speech Acts comprises reaffirming, recognizing, and stating, the explicit strategy used as a follow-up complaint by using directive Speech Acts includes demanding and requesting; and the expressive Speech Acts is used as well encompass Lilly’s personal feeling. It is also found that the implicit strategy is less effective for complaints rather than the explicit one. The study furthermore reveals that complaining has its level to address offensive situations. Therefore, this study is particularly useful for understanding the intent of complainers and how the hearer develops a suitable apology.

Abstract

Tak dapat disangkal, pesatnya perubahan dunia pada era globalisasi berpangkal dari teknologi informasi yang kian berkembang. Berbaurnya teknologi dengan telekomunikasi menimbulkan revolusi pada sistem informasi. Dahulu, untuk mengakses atau mengolah data dan informasi, manusia membutuhkan proses yang panjang. Kini, dunia seolah diberikan kemudahan dalam mengakses dan terhubung dengan beragam informasi dan data yang tersaji. Lain halnya dengan Rahasia Dagang sebagai bagian dari kekayaan intelektual yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi dalam kegiatan usaha di Indonesia. Nilai ekonomi dari Rahasia Dagang melekat karena adanya informasi yang sengaja untuk tidak diketahui oleh umum. Hal tersebut menjadikan elemen ini termasuk salah satu bagian yang cukup menarik atensi. Mengingat pada era ini, industri jasa telekomunikasi seolah menopang tanggung jawab besar untuk melindungi setiap data yang masuk ke dalam dunia digital. Terdapatnya resiko berupa kebocoran data yang bersifat rahasia menjadi problematika terhadap pelindungan data dalam industri jasa telekomunikasi. Dengan ini, digunakan metode penelitian yuridis normatif melalui pengumpulan data yang dilakukan secara daring. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah rujukan perihal pengaturan yang tepat sesuai kebutuhan Indonesia dalam merespon pelindungan data sebagai rahasia dagang pada jasa telekomunikasi yang belum terakomodir dengan baik saat ini. Melalui optimalisasi keberadaan umbrella regulation dan penyusunan kebijakan khusus dalam sektor telekomunikasi berupa co-regulation atau self-regulation.

Abstract

Industrialization in Indonesia contributes significantly to increased emissions. PT XYZ as a seasoning producer faces challenges in managing the environmental impact of its supply chain activities, especially in seasoning flour products which have the highest productivity reaching 25,793 tons in 2023. This study aims to measure the level of emissions generated during the supply chain process of seasoning flour products using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method with a gate to gate approach. Data collection was carried out through interviews and secondary data collection from company documents related to process procedures, energy consumption, raw material usage, and supply chain operational data. Data was processed using SimaPro 9.0 software with the ReCiPe 2016 Midpoint method. The results showed a high level of emissions. The terrestrial acidification category reached 4.97 kg.SO₂, far above the standard limit of 600 mg.SO₂ per year. Normalization results identified the production stage as the largest contributor with three categories of marine ecotoxicity (27.3), freshwater ecotoxicity (17.5), and human carcinogenic toxicity (13.5). The high emissions are caused by significant electricity consumption for operational systems and production machinery, as well as transportation use. Recommendations for improvement include optimizing production energy, managing machine operating time, utilizing solar panels, and others.

Abstract

This research seeks to assess how organic and varietal planting media impact the growth and yield of lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa. L). The study was conducted using the Complete Group Random Design (CGRD) method with two treatment factors. The first factor involved three types of organic planting media: (M1) a blend of soil, manure, and burnt husks; (M2) a blend of soil, manure, and cocopeat; (M3) a blend of soil, manure, burnt husks, and cocopeat. The second factor comprised three varieties: (V1) Grand Rapid green lettuce, (V2) Red Rapid red lettuce, and (V3) Lollo Rossa red lettuce. The findings indicate that treatment (M3), consisting of soil, manure, burnt husks, and cocopeat, influences leaf width, plant weight, and dry stash weight. The best yield was observed in treatment (V1) with the Grand Rapid green lettuce variety showing significant effects across all parameters. The conclusions are as follows: 1. Organic growing media does not affect all observation parameters related to the growth and yield of lettuce plants. 2. Varietal differences have a noticeable impact on all observation parameters related to lettuce growth and yield. 3. The interaction between organic growing media and plant varieties significantly affects the observation parameters of plant height and plant weight, while it does not affect leaf width and dry stash weight.

Abstract

Over-the-Top (OTT) is a form of information technology innovation that is growing very rapidly, including in Indonesia as one of the largest OTT market country. OTT can earn income from users in Indonesia, while the right to tax this income cannot be imposed in Indonesia because OTT generally operates across national borders and does not have a permanent establishment in Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary to consider income tax arrangements for OTT operating in Indonesia to provide legal certainty. This paper focuses on discussing the positive legal provisions of Income Tax that apply to OTT operating in Indonesia and the implementation of each of these regulations in the current era of economic digitalization. The author uses a normative juridical research method with a qualitative research approach. Based on this research, it is known that the provision of Income Tax for OTT does not yet exist, therefore the Government of Indonesia needs to design a national tax law that is able to accommodate income tax for OTT.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk menumbuhkan rasa empati mahasiswa terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Kegiatan ini mengambil tema “ A Beautiful Future is Being Able To Speak English” pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris merupakan hal dasar yang seharusnya bisa didapatkan oleh semua orang, tetapi masih banyak anak-anak yang belum bisa mendaptakan hal tersebut. Adapun tujuan dari diselenggarakannya pengabdian ini peningkatan pengenalan penggunaan Bahasa Inggris dasar bagi anak-anak yang kurang mampu. Media pembelajaran melalui penyampaian materi dengan flash card, praktik dan tanya jawab. PKM ini dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen Universitas Pamulang bekerjasama dengan mahasiswa Kampus. Target sasaran adalah anak-anak berusia 6-10 tahun. Kegiatan berlangsung dengan baik dan mendapatkan sambutan dan antusisme dari pihak pengurus TBM Kolong. Kesimpulan yang diambil dari kegiatan ini yaitu dari kegiatan ini diharapkan anak-anak mulai menyukai dan mempelajari lebih lanjut hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan Bahasa Inggris sehingga nisa meningkatkan peluang untuk berteman dengan orang lain dari berbagai negara. Analisis yang dilakukan pada wilayah (West, East, Middlewest, South) di Amerika Serikat dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan rata-rata profit penjualan produk rumah tangga di Amerika Serikat. Data penjualan produk rumah tangga ini diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan Excel untuk mengidentifikasi tren penjualan, hingga produk terlaris setiap wilayah dengan metode Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA). Selain itu, visualisasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi Power BI dengan hasil menunjukkan bahwa salah satu cara dalam peningkatakn profit rata-rata dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan pemberian diskon yang tepat
